This study aims to understand and analyze the social recognition and debate shown during the progress of the Asian Culture Complex (ACC) public project as well as the environmental evaluation performed by provincial community members. A 30-question survey based on a Likert scale was conducted with 150 experts. The study showed, first, that despite controversies over landmarks and historical locations, the quality of the architect's first draft was considered fairly high. However, vibrant landmarks were greatly desired. Furthermore, respondents reported conflicting recognitions of the same concept, which were defined differently depending on the terms and concepts used by the architect. Second, historical locations were considered important. The architects' final design was modified based on quality and in response to social pressure, resulting in the partial retention of the provincial government annex building. Although the first draft was considered to be of high quality, the modified plan was considered even better than the original design, revealing the 2-fold characteristics of the identical phenomenon in the environmental evaluation. Third, many groups held opinions that were balanced between the architects' originality and the value of community-based recognition; hence, the social inclination and evaluation of the project differed across the public.

본 연구는 소셜 미디어의 활발한 이용자 집단인 대학생들을 대상으로 소셜 미디어 환경에서의 건강정보 요구와, 건강정보 추구행태, 그리고 소셜 미디어에서 제공되는 건강정보의 신뢰성에 대한 인식을 알아보았다. 22명의 대학생들을 심층면접한 결과, 소셜 미디어의 이용은 특히 몸에 이상증상을 느끼는 단계에서 증상의 진단을 위해 이루어지거나 건강한 상태에서 건강유지를 위해 활용하는 것으로 나타났다. 대학생들의 개별 소셜 미디어에 대한 신뢰성 인식은 개인별로 큰 차이를 보이고 있어서 온라인상의 건강정보를 효과적으로 평가, 획득할 수 있도록 건강정보 활용능력 교육이 필요하다.

Purpose: The present study demonstrates the netnography technique to explore and understand crowds' perceptions on the donation distribution by charitable crowdfunding platform official social media, Facebook. Research design, data and methodology: This paper conducts a netnography design to examine the perceptions of online communities on four prominent charitable crowdfunding platforms' Facebook. A total of 93 comments are studied by collecting and analyzing their comments thematically. Results: This study illustrates two main themes which are 'Recommended Review' and 'Non-Recommended Review'. 'Recommended Review' can be explained into six sub-themes which are 'Role of Religion', 'Encouragement to Donate', 'Platform Reliability', 'Volunteering Value', 'Platform Support', and 'Donation Convenience'. While 'Non-Recommended Review' reveals that 'Rejected Donation Amounts', 'Rejection of Advertisements', and 'Review by Authorities'. Conclusion: Online community comments play an important role in providing input to the experience of donating through charitable crowdfunding. The crowdfunding platform can make a benchmark for the services offered. The comments are needed to be given attention by maintaining the interaction between the platform and donors to recruit new donors and maintain existing donors. This study provides better understanding on online community perception towards charitable crowdfunding platforms. This study also contributes the discussion on charitable crowdfunding and online marketing literatures.

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 학생들에게 수학 교육에서의 사회정의를 가르치기 위한 수학 수업 사례 연구로 이를 적용한 수학 수업을 통해 학생들의 사회정의를 위한 수학에 대한 이해를 돕는데 있다. 그리고 학생들로 하여금 사회의 불평등 문제 상황을 비판적으로 바라보도록 함으로써 보다 정의로운 사회를 만들기 위한 수학 수업에서 학생들의 수학에 대한 흥미와 가치 인식이 어떻게 변하는지 알아보는데 있다. 본 연구를 위해 서울특별시 서초구에 소재한 B초등학교 6학년 학생 18명(남 13명, 여 5명)의 학생들과 방과 후 동아리 수업 시간을 활용하여 8개 주제에 대하여 10차시의 수업을 진행하였다. 자료 수집 및 분석은 수업 중 활동의 관찰 및 학생들의 담화, 활동지, 설문, 인터뷰를 통하여 사회정의 이해, 수학에 대한 흥미, 수학에 대한 가치 인식에 대하여 알아보았다. 연구 결과 학생들은 사회정의를 위한 수학 수업의 과정에서 삶의 문제에 대하여 사회정의의 관점으로 재인식하게 되면서 비정의의 문제를 해결하기 위한 실천 의지를 기르거나 직접 실행에 옮기며 적극적인 사회적 행동을 표현하는 모습을 보여 주었다. 또한 학생들은 자신들에게 친숙하고 밀접한 사회적 맥락 관계에 있는 학습 과제를 해결하는 과정을 통해'수학에 대한 흥미'가 높아졌으며, 세계를 이해하고 잠재적으로 변화를 이끌어낼 수 있는 실생활에 필수적인 학문으로서'수학에 대한 가치'인식도 높아졌다. 사회정의를 위한 수학 수업이 학교 교육에서 정착되기 위해서는 사회정의를 위한 교육의 필요성을 인식할 필요가 있으며, 교사들의 사회정의에 대한 이해를 보다 깊게 할 필요가 있고, 질 높은 관련 자료의 개발과 현장에서의 적용 그리고 현장의 수업사례를 기반으로 한 교사 교육을 지속적으로 해 갈 필요가 있다.

본 연구는 사회복지기관을 이용하고 있는 클라이언트와 가족을 돕고 지원하는 사회복지사들의 가족인식을 비교한 연구이다. 또한 가족인식에 영향을 주는 요인으로써 인구사회학적인 요인, 원가족에 대한 인식, 자기효능감이 사회복지사와 클라이언트의 가족인식에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 파악하고자 하였다. 조사는 사회복지관을 이용하고 있는 클라이언트 134명과 가족을 대상으로 사회복지서비스를 제공하고 있는 사회복지사 131명을 대상으로 유의표집을 통한 서베이조사를 통하여 실시하였다. 조사결과는 가족개념, 가족주의, 남녀평등의식에 있어서 두 집단간 비교에서 모두 유의미한 차이를 보이고 있었다. 또한 가족인식에 영향을 주는 요인으로는 클라이언트에게는 연령과 원가족에 대한 인식이었으며, 사회복지사는 성별과 자기효능감이 가족인식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가족인식에 대한 사회복지사와 클라이언트에 대한 비교를 통하여 사회복지사가 다양한 가족형태를 수용할 가능성이 높음을 확인하였다. 또한 클라이언트와 가족주의에 대한 차이는 사회복지 실천과정에서 가족가치, 가족집단주의, 가족내 성별 역할분담에 차이를 가질 수 있음도 예측할 수 있었으며, 사회복지사간에도 성별에 따라 가족인식에 차이를 미칠 수 있음으로 사회복지 교육에 있어서 성인지적 교육이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

본 연구는 급격한 사회변동의 대한 주관적 지각이 정신건강에 유의한 영향을 미치며 이 과정에서 두 가지 대처자원인 개인적 자원과 사회적 자원이 문화적으로 다른 효과를 갖는다는 가설을 한국과 미국표본을 비교함으로써 검증하였다. 한국과 미국에서 수행된 설문자료를 다표본 구조방정식 모형으로 비교 분석한 결과 첫째, 사회변동 속도의 지각이 사회변동의 평가라는 매개과정을 통해서 주관적 안녕감에 영향을 미침을 발견하였고, 둘째 개인적 자원은 미국표본에서 그리고 사회적 자원은 한국표본에서 스트레스의 대처에 더 큰 효과를 가짐을 각각 발견하였다. 사회변동의 주관적 지각이라는 새로운 사회적 스트레스 요인에 대한 논의가 포함되었다.

Adopting the Tools of Liberalism and Clash of Civilizations theories of international relations, this study examines the perceptions of 25,406 Arabs in 11 Arab countries as expressed in an Arab Barometer survey exploring their perceptions of violence against the United States (US), American citizens as "good," President Donald Trump's foreign policy in the Middle East, increasing economic relations with the US, and welcoming American foreign aid. As aspects of the Clash of Civilizations theory, this study examines religiosity, religious ritual practices, and political Islam and, as aspects of liberalism, this study explores the roles of online media as well as perceptions about US foreign aid in the prediction of the criterion variables. The findings suggest that religious indicators, and aspects of the Clash of Civilizations generally, were negative predictors of the perceptions, while social media and motivations for US foreign aid as aspects of liberalism, positively predicted the perceptions. The study discusses the results in relation to implications for policy makers.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the family care-givers' perceptions of welfare facility for the elderly people with dementia, to analyze the related variables, and to provide the suggestions from the perspectives of the well-being of family care-givers. The survey was done using questionnaires in 1999, and the subjects were 198 primary care-givers for senile dementia patients. Frequency distribution, mean, t-test, and one way ANOVA were used to analyze the data. The major findings of this study were as follows: The family care-givers' perceptions of the welfare facility for elderly people with dementia was relatively low. The variables associated were sex, education level, occupation and relationship with the demented elderly. The conclusion suggested from this study was that the social welfare facilities and services were necessary for both the demented elderly people themselves and their family care-givers.

This paper aims to reach the perceptions, ideas and intentions of the higher education adolescences on the effects of technological innovations over interrelation/communication between individuals. While advances in technology commonly works for the welfare and benefit of humankind, paradoxically in some instances could have negative outcomes on interrelations among individuals, minimizing face-to-face communication. The perceptions, so ideas of the individuals on the matter could differ depending on their age, gender, race and the culture beyond their relative intimacy and closeness to ICT tools. In order to penetrate the basic initiatives leading the perceptions of adolescents on the effects of technological improvements on human interrelations/ communication, a survey is conducted with 157 students in high education consisting of Asian, African, Cypriot, Turkish nationals. Results indicate that participants use technological tools for communication which lessens their face-to-face interaction. However they prefer social media more than face-to-face communication during conflict or undesirable situations.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify the influence of children's and caregivers' perceptions of local neighborhood environments on children's physical activities (PAs) and screen-based activities (SBAs) among low-income families. Methods: Secondary data analysis was performed using the data of 171 low-income children attending community child care centers and of their caregivers. Descriptive analysis, factor analysis and logistic regression analysis were employed to analyze data. Results: PAs were insufficient and SBAs were excessive in the majority of children. Children and primary caregivers had moderately negative perceptions of their local neighborhood environments. However these perceptions were not found to affect children's PAs or SBAs significantly. Conclusion: Although perceptions of local neighborhoods were not found to significantly influence children's PAs or SBAs, efforts are needed to make community child care centers and neighborhoods safer and more activity-friendly.
