  • This qualitative study explores how Mongolian migrant workers, with a marked tendency for family migration, plan and put into practice their child's education and attach meaning to it in relation to the social network they form during their stay in Korea. Specifically, it analyzes in particular ways the social network Mongolian migrant workers form affect their settlement in Korea, the process by which the social network affects their planning of their child's education, and how the education planning and its realization lead to the formation of new social networks. The results show that parents were divided between those who made a deliberate decision in sending their child to the Seoul Mongol School as a part of their plan and those who chose the school due to forced circumstances. While some parents preferred the Seoul Mongol School over regular Korean schools for their child's education and future, others sent their child to the Seoul Mongol School, regardless of their preference, because they did not have access to information about regular Korean schools, were afraid of divulging their illegal status, or were afraid their child would not be able to adjust to the school life in Korean schools. Based on such analysis, this paper stresses the urgency of further research in this area, and suggests direction for future policy measures.

The survey data for these analyses were from an in depth interview which was conducted with the 21 contingent female workers as study samples. They are the married women, who started to work or returned to work after an absence to raise a family. The results showed that in reality the contingent female worker faced worse working conditions than the full time female labour force, even if women were determined to be a study paper instructor to meet work and family demand. It was the contingent women worker with a short time work experience who were in the worst position tlo adjust their working arrangements to suit their family needs and were confronted with the greater inter-role friction as a vulnerable group. The study revealed that instrumental and emotional support of husband has a positive effect on maintaining job role and lessening role conflicts and stress of the women. The work/family relationship indicated its double side, conflict and support. The women simply could not afford to depend on the psychological support form family in the midst of the inferior employment conditions and the absence of social support. This strategy, however, was based on the family ideology and the patriarchal gender division of labor. It caused the overload, stress and poor health of women involving some risk to give up the work.

  • Teaching and learning were carried out long before the word "education" was coined. As teaching and learning became more universal, the word "education" was construed as a social promise, and there was a general consensus as to what it denoted. Many university professors will most likely have great confidence and expertise with respect to "teaching" in their area of specialization, and they believe that they are fulfilling a social promise. However, how much expertise do they have in actually making students "learn"? How concerned are professors about enabling students to utilize their potential and talents to cultivate their learning abilities and to adjust to the different demands of various fields? The same issue arises in medical education. To what extent can professors' teaching heighten students' sense of purpose and motivation to learn? With regard to increasing learners' initiatives, the learning model of constructivism presupposes that learners are active and creative, have their own personalities, and possess unlimited learning potential. The PBL being carried out in medical schools today is a form of study that can take advantage of these aspects of learners. They can maximally widen the range of students' development through many intellectual activities and solve difficult problems by either sharing or critiquing the thoughts and ideas of others. The acts of teaching and learning that have been carried out for thousands of years remain difficult to this day and must be ceaselessly deliberated and researched by experts in the field of education. Just as good teachers are required to produce good learners, we must give ourselves room to rethink the basis of education in order to maximize effective and efficient learning.

  • Perceived crowding is known as a necessary method to evaluate social carrying capacity in recreational settings. But according to the results of previous research, perceived crowding, use density, and satisfaction have shown weak and indirect correlations. The theory of visitors’ adjustment is one of several possible explanations for this poor relation. But the validity of the visitors’ adjustment theory has not been not inspected clearly. Therefore, the purposes of this study are to understand visitors’ adjustment theory and to examine visitors’ adjustment to the overuse of recreational settings. Study hypotheses were formulated through literature review and related to visitors’ adjustment in recreation density. Pour hypotheses were established and inspected with the case study, i.e., Rationalization : Visitors’ satisfaction isn't related to use density in recreation setting, 2) Product-shift : Preference norm is related to current use density, 3) Self-selection : Visitors’ satisfaction for the use level is generally high, and 4) Displacement : Norm interference is related to willingness to revisit. The case study was conducted during May and June,2001. According to the results of this survey, visitors adjust to overuse of recreation setting through rationalization and product shift (hypotheses l/2 acceptance). Current use density isn't related to visitors’ satisfaction and willingness to revisit (see table 3). And visitors’ preference norm is modified by situation (see table 4). Visitors’ satisfaction and willingness to revisit don't show a high correlation but moderately high (see table 5, hypothesis 3 acceptance). Differences between visitors’ preference norm and current use density is norm interference. Norm interference isn't related to willingness to revisit (see table 7). Therefore, the norm interference concept is not a useful method to explain visitors’ adjustment to the degree of overuse in a recreational setting (hypothesis 4 rejection). As for future directions, the following are proposed: 1) correctly understanding and reestablishing the visitor norm and norm interference concept, 2) introducing a composite research method to monitor visitors’ behavior and survey visitors’ attitudes and coping responses. These efforts would be helpful in the Planning and management of recreational settings to improve the quality of visitors’ experiences.

In the next stage, it will analyse how all elements consist of the hospital management in the UK has been adjusted and be likely to be changed within Europe. The changed physical aspects then influenced other aspects of their sexual life. Life satisfaction of each individual as a sexual being revealed as very subjective. It could be defined according to how the individual approved their sexual life no matter what and how much behavioral effort the person had done. In this study 3 types of sexual adjustment aspects were explored: 'Active adjustment' 'Passive adjustment' 'Maladjustment'. There were negative and positive factors influencing the adjustment process of individuals with spinal cord injury. Those factors might come from themselves, from families, or from social situations. • Since the U.S. government officially accepted North Korean(NK) as refugees starting in 2006, about 120 North Koreans have come to and been living in the United States. However, little is known in regard to what the North Korean refugees need for a qualify life. This study aims to explore the essential experiences of North Korean defectors who have settled in the United States after escaping North Korea. Research inquiries are why North Korean refugees have chosen the United States for their settlement, and how they are living in the United States. Data were collected from in-depth interviews with eight NK refugees. For data analysis, grounded theory approach by Strauss and Corbin(1998) was employed. The data analysis identified the central phenomenon, protective and risk factors, and core actions and consequences of NK refugees' adjustment in the U.S. The central phenomenon was "voluntary choose to come to the U.S." The core action and consequences in the process of their adjustment were 'searching for the meaning of life,' and 'achieving acculturation.' The findings may provide deeper understanding on the situation of North Korean refugees in the U.S. and implications for how to help them adjust well in the society.

  • In recent years, ESG activities (Environment, Social and Governance) have been paid more and more attention by enterprises and their stakeholders in various countries. China is the largest developing country in the world. The ESG performance of Chinese listed enterprises helps to understand the shortcomings of their sustainable development ability and further enhance the firm value. Moreover, the interaction effect between green innovation investment and ESG activities is of great significance for enterprises to balance the resource allocation between the two factors in the future. Taking listed Chinese manufacturing companies from 2011 to 2020 as an example, this study investigates the influence of ESG activities on financial performance and non-financial performance, and tests the moderating role of green innovation. Our results show that: (1) ESG performance has a negative impact on financial performance; (2) ESG performance has a positive impact on non-financial performance; (3) Green innovation can positively adjust the negative impact of environmental activities on financial performance. However, it will enhance the negative impact of governance activities on financial performance. The interaction effect between green innovation and social activities on corporate financial performance is a substitution effect; (4) With the improvement of green innovation level, the positive impact of ESG overall performance and environmental performance on corporate reputation will also be suppressed.
