Mid-life is a period of transition and crisis in human development. A multidimensional approach is needed to understand the meaning of the mid-life crisis. In order to understand the crisis of middle age, it is required to understand the psychological aspects of individuals, behavioral and social aspects. Jung referred to the middle age as the period of individuation. In other words, it is a process of stabilizing and integrating several individuals with fragmented personalities. The discovery of the meaning in life in middle age relates to the meaning of existence and to become a true community member through understanding of others and oneself. The sense of crisis in middle age has a deep correlation with the meaning in life, and the sense of crisis in middle age can be lowered through the meaning of life. However, in the process of discovering the meaning in life, adaptation to family and social crises and coping with stress will be important factors.

Linking Ukraine's education system with the trends of global digitalization is mandatory to ensure the sustainable, long-term development of the country, as well as to increase the sustainability of the education system and the economy as a whole during the crisis period. Now the main problems of the education system in Ukraine are manifested in a complex context caused by Russian armed aggression. In the context of war, problems include differences in adaptation to online learning among educational institutions, limited access to education for vulnerable groups in the zone of active hostilities, the lack of digital educational resources suitable for online learning, and the lack of basic digital skills and competencies among students and teachers necessary to properly conduct online classes. Some of the problems of online learning were solved in the pandemic, but in the context of war Ukrainian society needs a new vision of education and continuous efforts of all social structures in the public and private environment. In the context of war, concerted action is needed to keep education on track and restore it in active zones, adapting to the needs of a dynamic society and an increasingly digitized economy. Among the urgent needs of the education system are a change in the teaching-learning paradigm, which is based on content presentation, memorization, and reproduction, and the adoption of a new, hybrid educational model that will encourage the development of necessary skills and abilities for students and learners in a digitized society and enable citizens close to war zones to learn.
This study is to look out the old Woman's decision that why they get divorced of the elderly and process of adaptation. So It provides them with practice intervention program. This study approach life history study of qualitative study. Data were collected from there three old women who have get divorced. Raw data were analyzed by Denzins analysis frame. According to research participant's marriage life were influence form patriarchal social system and they divorced for self-identity. But it was not an escape from patriarchal repression. The patriarchal repression from husband in context of family's level has extended to community. So At this study common theme of divorced elderly life that is "patriarchal based on culture system" and "break up life in cause by biased and oppression". The Author proposed self-helf group and intervention program for the divorced elderly women.
This study examined the impact of changes in agricultural production methods on society, the economy, and the environment. While traditional open-field farming relied heavily on natural conditions, modern approaches, including greenhouse and smart farming, have emerged to mitigate the effects of climate and seasonal variations. Facility horticulture has been on the rise since the 1990s, and recently, there has been a growing interest in smart farms due to reasons such as climate change adaptation and food security. We compared open-field spinach and greenhouse spinach using agricultural income survey data, and we also compared greenhouse tomato cultivation with smart farming tomato cultivation, utilizing data from the smart farm survey reports. The economic results showed that greenhouse spinach increased yield by 25.8% but experienced a 29% decrease in income due to equipment depreciation. In the case of tomato production in smart farms, both yield and income increased by 36-39% and 34-46%, respectively. In terms of environmental impact, we also compared fertilizer and energy usage. It was found that greenhouse spinach used 29% less fertilizer but 14% more energy compared to open-field spinach. Smart farming for tomatoes saw a negligible decrease in electricity and fuel costs. Regarding the social impact, greenhouse spinach reduced labor hours by 31%, and the introduction of smart farming for tomatoes led to an average 11% reduction in labor hours. This reduction is expected to have a positive effect on sustainable farming. In conclusion, the transition from open-field to greenhouse cultivation and from greenhouse cultivation to smart farming appears to yield positive effects on the economy, environment, and society. Particularly, the reduction in labor hours is beneficial and could potentially contribute to an increase in rural populations.
The era of globalization has ushered in dramatic changes in the past decade covering a wide range of distinct political, economic and cultural trends whereby people adapt their houses to suit their needs and desires. This paper discusses the process of change analytically, emphasizing the importance of understanding the transformation of Lao traditional houses and its impact factors to the transformation and adaptation to suit with globalization trend, and conservation of the characteristics of traditional houses. This study takes place in Luangprabang, an ancient city of Lao PDR, which was designated as a world heritage city in 1995 as it is rich with diverse, tangible and intangible values. Five cases of traditional house in Luangprabang are examined to understand their transformation through time, by analyzing the basic spatial formation, components and elements, especially to find out the impact factors to such transformation. The study revealed that the transformation of the traditional house is subject to not just one single factor, but to a number of factors, where globalization, regulation, economy, and social aspect factors play a prime role and are the root for all these changes. The case study also indicates that these changes are connected to the benefits of income generation as a survival strategy for the low and middle-income people in Luangprabang as well as the housing demands. In the transition period a new residential type appeared accordingly, in which living spaces were categorized according to their general functions. There was a harmony between people's needs and the physical characteristics of the house.

As our society progresses rapidly toward an aged society, there is a stiff increase in the population of the aged persons who have difficulties in adjusting themselves to environments due to declines of their physical functions. Therefore, there is a great need for the concept of 'Universal Design' that demands the design of overall social structure to care for the elderly. Due to this reason, the physical function of the aged persons should thoroughly be studied for the development of rehabilitation and training equipments to help the recovery of physical functions of the elderly. Among the variety of physical functions of the elderly, visual functions, motion characteristics, hearing functions, and somatosensory functions have significant influence toward everyday lives and are physical functions to study for the construction of urgently needed physical function databases of the elderly. This study concentrates on visual functions among the variety of physical functions of the elderly. To measure various visual functions of the elderly, a measurement room for the elderly has been developed, which can mimic everyday lives and perform measurements of visual functions with subjects in seated position. The measurement items for the construction of the database were capabilities in everyday vision according to changes in arrangement of colors and light intensity and capabilities in everyday vision, color distinction, dark adaptation, and light glare against changes in contrast.
Purpose: This study was a prospective longitudinal study to identify changes in quality of life in patients undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). It was based on Roy's adaptation model. Methods: The questionnaires were administered before HSCT, 30 and 100 days after HSCT. Of the 48 potentially eligible patients, 44 (91.7%) participated in the study and 40 (90.9%) completed the questionnaires at 100 days after HSCT. Multilevel analysis was applied to analyze changes in quality of life. Results: Overall, quality of life showed a decreasing tendency from pre-HSCT to 100 days after HSCT. The adaptation level of participants was compensatory. Type of conditioning was the significant factor influencing quality of life before HSCT (${\beta}_{00}$=79.92, p <.001; ${\beta}_{01}$= - 12.64, p <.001) and the change rate of quality of life (${\beta}_{10}$= - 1.66, p =.020; ${\beta}_{11}$=2.88, p =.014). Symptom severity (${\beta}_{20}$= - 1.81, p =.004), depression (${\beta}_{30}$= - 0.58, p =.001), social dependency (${\beta}_{40}$= - 0.35, p =.165), and loneliness (${\beta}_{50}$= - 0.23, p =.065) had a negative effect on changes in quality of life. Symptom severity and depression were statistically significant factors influencing changes in quality of life. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, the development of nursing intervention is needed to improve quality of life in patients undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in the early immune reconstruction period. The interventions should include programs to enhance coping capacity and programs to help control symptom severity and depression. Also these interventions need to be started from the beginning of HSCT and a multidisciplinary approach would be helpful.
Remarriage has been prevalent in Korea since the mid-1990s. Remarried families have reported that they face many challenges and difficulties. Life for those who remarry can worsen when the children from a previous marriage live together with new family members. It is interesting that some remarried families adjust well while others do not. This study focuses on developing a practice model for strengthening the resilience of remarried families with children based on a literature review. To understand and support remarried families, the resilience perspective was chosen, focusing on a strengths perspective with developmental, ecological, and preventative perspectives. In terms of resilience, the proposed practice model was developed on the basis of three concepts: belief systems, organizational patterns, and communication. The model can be used to help remarried families accomplish adequate integration by growing as a new family and can prevent another divorce. Moreover, it can assist practitioners and policy-makers develop programs and policies with a strengths perspective rather than a deficit or problem-oriented perspective. Based on the model, various programs need to be developed to strengthen the resilience of remarried families. The development of supportive programs is suggested. These can include remarriage preparation programs, remarriage life education programs, interactive web-based programs, and family camps. For a long time, remarried families have been labeled as abnormal and atypical owing to the normal family myth. This negative perception of remarried families must be altered so that they are accepted with a positive outlook in a society. For further studies, the development of diverse supportive adaptation programs for various types of remarried families and active research on them are recommended. The practice model can assist with the adaptation and growth of remarried families by strengthening their resilience.
The purpose of the study is to explore how parenting attitudes, ego resilience, and care affects adolescents' adjustment to school so as to provide a necessary basic guideline needed to seek various intervention methods. To achieve this end, the study referred to the 2014 Annual Report of the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey. By using both SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 19.0, the study yielded the following results. First, the study showed that parenting attitudes, ego resilience, care, and school adjustment all have a positive correlation. Second, by conducting path analysis in order to verify the mediating effect of ego resilience and care with regards to the relationship between parenting attitudes and school adjustment, the direct influence that parenting attitudes had on school adaptation was shown to be relevant. Third, adolescents' ego resilience and care have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between parenting attitudes and school adaptation. Therefore, together with intervention in actual school settings, assessing various factors that would aid the recovery of adolescents' characters and pursuing a positive reinforcement of character by finding protective factors would enable this study to be used as a basic guideline that would prevent adolescents' maladjustment to school and social deviance as well as aid the growth of their characters.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to understand the level and patterns of college adjustment, major satisfaction, academic engagement, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This study examined the factors influencing adaptation to college life. Methods: This study was approved by the institutional review board of 00 university. We analyzed 166 survey data responses collected by distributing questionnaires from June 1 to July 2, 2020. Statistical product and service solutions version 23.0 was used for statistical analyses. The data were presented as frequencies and percentages or means and standard deviations, and pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed. Results: There was a significant difference in the average score of major satisfaction according to the type of college (university) and grades. For college adjustment, there was a significant difference in the average score according to major grades. Academic engagement showed a significant difference in the average score according to the college type and grade. Major satisfaction, college adjustment, and academic motivation showed significant positive correlations among the variables, whereas ADHD, major satisfaction, and college adjustment showed a significant negative correlation. Multiple regression analysis revealed that major satisfaction (p<0.001) and academic motivation (p<0.001) were factors affecting college adjustment (p<0.05). Conclusions: It is necessary to develop and apply specific and systematic adaptation programs to improve the understanding, control, and guidance methods for college students and to promote human relations, such as school life and social life.
