This study explored the compacition characteristics of organic weathered soils. Weathered soils were collected around the Gwangju University in Jinwol-dong, Gwangju city, and coal was used as organic material. Weathered soils were mixed with coal so that the ratio of organic elements against mixed soil can be 0%, 25%, 50%, and 75% respectively. Compaction tests were carried out on these organic mixture soils in different ratios of organic materials. And soap water instead of water in compaction tests was used. Through this study, We knew that the bigger the organic material ratio was, the more the optimum moisture content increased and the less the maximum dry unit weight reduced. In case of using small compaction energy, using soap water instead of water improved the compaction efficiency a little.

The biodegradability of some anionic surfactants were investigated using biological oxygen consumption measurement at different temperatures. As test surfactants, soap, alkyl sulfate (AS), alpha olefin sulfonate (AOS), alkyl polyoxyethylene sulfate (AES), linear alkylbezene sulfonate(LAS), microbial surfactants such as sophorose lipid (sopholipid) and spiculisporic acid (S-acid), were used. The test solution were incubated at $5^{\circ}C$, $18^{\circ}C$ and $32^{\circ}C$, respectively. The comparative rates of biodegradation were in accordance with the results obtained from the surface tension measurement and methylene blue method. The results of comparative blodegradabilities of the surfactants were as follows; soap, AS>AES>AOS>LAS at $18^{\circ}C$ and $32^{\circ}C$. However, at$ 5^{\circ}C$, the biodegradation rate of soap was better than other surfactants. Considering the actual environment of the river, it was concluded that the biological oxygen consumption rate method at lower temperature was more practical than the current method such as methylene blue assay with adapted shaking flask culture at $25^{\circ}C$

A method was described for the analysis of Artemisia extract in cosmetic soap. Esculetin-6-methylether was used as indicator ingredient for analysis of Artemisia extract. It was isolated from the plant and purified with silicagel column. The structure was conformed with IR, NMR and MASS spectroscopy. The Artemisia extract in sample was isolated with chloroform and interfering com- pounds were eliminated with silicagel column. The Artemisia extract was determined by reverse phase high- performance liquid chromatography with a fluorescence detector and a solvent system of H2O/THF/MeOH. The recorveries of Artemisia extract were 93.9-106.1% in the cosmetic soap.

When SOAP message in Web Services has sensitive and important data, it is necessary to protect the message from XML rewriting attacks. These attacks create a foundation for typical faults in SOAP message and make it vulnerable to use in Web Service environment. Currently, Web Services middleware offers limited functions to detect these faults and possibly fix them. In this paper, we propose a Security Description Assistance which identifies and fixes typical faults in SOAP messages. Our system adapts simulation-based approach, which allows system to self-optimize its performance in different conditions and thus improve the reliability of Web Services.

본 논문은 전기자동차에 대한 데이터를 관리하기 위한 시스템을 위한 것으로, 전기 자동차의 데이터를 실시간으로 읽어들여, 이를 인터넷 상에 위치한 Web 서비스를 통하여 DB에 XML 형태로 저장하기 위한 시스템이다. 실시간으로 데이터를 읽어들여 DB에 저장함에 있어서, 향후 보안 모델의 적용 및 서비스의 확장을 용이하게 하기 위해 SOAP을 적용하였다. 통합된 시스템이 만들어지면, 현재 전기자동차의 상태정보를 읽어들여, 자동차의 상황정보와 함께 계산하여 운전자에게 다양한 정보를 줄 수 있는 시스템으로 개발될 것이다.

기존 전자상거래시스템들은 독자적인 기술로 개발되어 표준화와 확장성의 문제가 있다. 따라서 최근에는 XML을 전자상거래시스템에 도입하여 시스템간의 표준화 문제를 해결하려는 노력이 진행중이다. 이러한 노력의 일환으로 국제전자상거래 표준인 ebXML이 제정되었고, 관련 XML 기술로 SOAP과 XML Signature가 채택되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 최신기술을 실제 적용하기 위한 연구로 XML 기반 전자입찰시스템을 설계하고 프로토타입을 구현하였다. 먼저 분산객체시스템을 구축하기 위해 SOAP을 이용하였고, 기존 분산객체시스템과의 연동도 가능하도록 하였다 또한 XML Signature를 이용하여 표준화된 인증 시스템을 구현할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다.

본 논문에서는 양방향환경에서의 메타데이터 서비스를 제공하는 TV-Anytime 시스템에서의 개인 맞춤형 서비스를 위한 오퍼레이션들을 설계 밋 구현한다. TV-Anytime 포럼에서는 양방향 환경에서의 메타데이터 서비스를 위해 get_Data 와 submit_Data 오퍼레이션을 정의 하였으나, 이 두 오퍼레이션은 양방향 환경에서의 맞춤형 서비스를 제공할 수가 없다. 이에 본 논문에서는 사용자 프로파일 정보를 활용한 개인 맞춤형 서비스를 위해 새로운 오퍼레이션을 제안한다. 제안된 오퍼레이션을 통해 사용자는 양방향 환경에서의 SOAP 프로토콜을 통해 콘텐츠의 검색, 저장, 탐색 및 개인 맞춤형 서비스가 가능하다.

웹 서비스는 표준화된 XML 메시지를 통해 네트워크상에서 접근 가능한 연산들의 집합을 기술하는 인터페이스로서 많은 업계의 지원과 함께 여러 분야에 빠르게 적용되고 있다. 이러한 웹 서비스는 현재 SOAP, WSDL, UDDI 등의 개방형 표준들로 구성되어 있다. 이 논문에서는 SOAP 기반 XML API호출을 통해 UDDI와 상호 작용하여 웹 서비스를 등록하고 검색하기 위한 UDDI 2.0 레지스트리 시스템의 설계와 구현을 소개한다.
