This paper presents the development methods which Samsung GPS baseband chip is called S3E4510X. Specification of S3E4510X and design methodology of baseband architecture is presented with a study of their effects. Also GPS core block and software are described in detail. We designed and implemented the test board with RF module for evaluating performance via static test dynamic test and each performance factors using live signal and CPS simulator. Test results show that our development GPS baseband chip have effectively performance for mobile handset Location Based Service (LBS) and its practical use for navigation.

A new type SO$_2$ gas sensor with a particular inorganic thin film on SAW devices was developed. The sensor consisted of twin SAW oscillators of the center frequency of 54 MHz fabricated on the LiTaO$_3$ piezoelectric single crystal. One delay line of the sensor was coated with a CdS thin film that selectively adsorbed and desorbed SO$_2$, while the other was uncoated for use as a stable reference. Deposition of the CdS thin film was carried out by the spray pyrolysis method using an ultrasonic nozzle. The sensor could measure the concentration in air less than 0.25 parts per million of SO$_2$. Stability of the sensor turned out to be as good as less than 20ppm, recovery time after each measurement was as short as 5 minutes. Repeatability of the measurement was confirmed through so many reiterated experiments. Hence, the SAW sensor developed through this work showed promising performance as a microsensing tool of SO$_2$. Further work required to improve the performance of the sensor includes enhancement of the reactivity of the CdS thin film with SO$_2$ through appropriate dopant addition, an increase of the center frequency of the SAW device.

$ZrO_2$was modified by treating with $H_2SO_4$ and by treating witb $SO_2,\;H_2S,\;and\;CS_2$ followed by oxidation. The oxidized species and oxidation state of sulfur compounds were investigated by infrared and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopies. The generation of strong acidity of modified $ZrO_2$ was independent of the sulfur source after oxidation. The sulfur ($SO_4{^{2-}}$) in the highest oxidation state was responsible for the superacidic property of the modified $ZrO_2$.

This paper describes the implementation of a SoC(System-on-a-Chip) and an ISDN communication terminal by the SoC in ISDN network. The SoC has been developed with the functions of 32-bit ARM7TDMI RISC core processor, network connection with S/T interface, TDM--bus interface and voice codec, user interface. And we also review the developed software structure and the ISDN service protocol procedures which are working on the SoC. And finally this paper describers a structure of an ISDN terminal equipment using the implemented SoC and terminal software.

Objectives : Cerebrovascular disease in children is more common than once recognized and the etiology. In stroke patient, dysphagia is a common. Dysphagia often affects the rehabilitation of stroke patients by increasing the risk of aspiration pneumonia and malnutrition. This is the clinical report about 1 case of patient with dysphagia who had a stroke developed after operation. Methods : The herb medicine, moxibustion and acupuncture therapies were applied for treating this patient's chief symptom. Results : This patient's dysphagia was improved by oriental medical therapy. Conclusions : The result suggests that the herb medicine and acupuncture therapies is efficacious against dysphagia associated with stroke. We though that more studies about the Oriental medical treatment on dysphagia associated with stroke are needed.

Objectives: This paper was prepared in memory of Jerry Sherwood, who provided a significant contribution to the Korean environmental and occupational health fields. Methods: Rare air quality data in Seoul were gathered by Jerry Sherwood when he visited Korea in the early 1980s. $SO_2$ and TPM concentrations were measured. These air quality measurements were based on ambient stationary monitoring and indoor air quality monitoring in various locations. Measurement during transportation was also applied. Results: Ambient $SO_2$ and TPM concentrations in Seoul were very high in the early 1980s. Ambient $SO_2$ concentrations were higher at nighttime. While ambient $SO_2$ concentrations varied by location, the Guro industrial area showed high levels. When indoor sources were presented, indoor $SO_2$ concentration was higher than outdoor level. Coal briquettes were closely associated with high indoor $SO_2$ concentration. Conclusion: This paper provided valuable historical information of air quality in Seoul.

A user desktop service can be made available on internet or local area network with the help of virtualization and cloud technologies. The service is usually called a virtual desktop or a desktop cloud. However, a user interface is limited to I/O capabilities of a user's mobile terminal. In order to enhance a user interface on a remote virtual desktop, it is important to connect full-featured I/O devices which are founded locally. Our previous work called SoD (System-on- Demand) has proposed a technique to associate local full-featured I/O devices with a remote virtual desktop in Xen. On the technique, it is required to install a SoD client agent in a user's mobile terminal for connecting a remote virtual desktop. In this paper, we propose a new framework called Web-SoD that does not require any explicit installation to make SoD service available. The SoD client agent is provided by the web technology so that the agent can be installed transparently, and the platform independency is also achieved. Due to insufficient network socket performance of current web technologies, we extend Native Client (NaCl) proposed by Google to support a network functionality by modifying a NaCl library and a service runtime. With conducted experiment, we show that the network extension supports a full socket functionality over the compromised overhead on the web environment.

This paper is a study on popularise aspects and consciousness of times about Seol-In-Gui's narrative in the Joseon Dynasty. Seol-In-Gui is general of Dang(唐) and he entered the war between Goguryeo(高句麗)and Dang. The war between Goguryeo and Dang is ended victory of Goguryeo. And Joseon peoples was long for power of Goguryeo and recognized again history of Goguryeo. So discourse of regaining native land was formed in the Joseon Dynasty. Besides was very popular in the Joseon Dynasty. Seol-In-Gui's narrative and are quite similar. And Dang-Tae-Jong, Ul-Ji-Gyeong-Deg's old story was prevalence. Dang-Tae-Jong and Ul-Ji-Gyeong-Deg entered war between Goguryo and Dang. Therefore Seol-In-Gui's narrative was popular in the Joseon Dynasty. Popularise aspects of Seol-In-Gui's narrative as follows. First, Seol-In-Gui's conquest of Yodong(遼東) narrative and heroism was gradually emerged in Seoul block printed of 40, 30 sheets version and printed book of . Second, Dang-Tae-Jong, Ul-Ji-Gyeong-Deg, Hab-So-Mun's individual narrative was formed. Third, Seol-In-Gui's narrative was expended to female hero's conquest of West-Beon(西蕃) narrative. Because are adaptations of . And is succession of Seol-In-Gui's narrative. Seol-In-Gui is people, Ben-Li-Hwa is female, Ben-Li-Hwa and Ul-Ji-Gyeong-Deg are ethnic. It is revealed that people, female, ethnic are real ability of Chinese nation. Furthermore it is revealed that people and female must are appointed and ethnic must is combined. Besides it is revealed that it is necessary built up national strength of Joseon Dynasty like Goguryeo and Goryeo. After the Manchu Invasion of Korea in 1636 national strength of Joseon Dynasty was weaken. So the Joseon Dynasty People long to be intensifed national strength keep in check China.

In this work, sulfonated poly(phenylene sulfide) (SPPS) was prepared by demethylation with aqueous NaOH solution after poly[methyl[4-(phenylthio)phenyl]sulfonium trifluoromethanesulfonate](PPST) was sulfonated with fumic sulfonic acid(10% $SO_{3}-H_{2}SO_{4}$). PPST soluble in organic solvents was synthesiszed by self-condensation polymerization of methyl-(phenylthio)phenyl sulfoxide(MPPSO). SPPS showed IR bands of asymmetric O=S=O stretching at $1200cm^{-1}$ and S-O stretching at $621cm^{-1}$ from $-SO_{3}H$ group. From the result, it could be known that sulfonic acid groups were introduced to poly(phenylene sulfide). when PPST was sulfonated for 12hr at $150^{\circ}C$, 1.48 sulfonic acid groups were introduced per repeat unit. The weight average molecular weight(Mw) of PPST and SPPS determined by high temperature GPC were 118323 and 131204, respectively. The SPPS exhibited adsorption capacity of ammonia gas $9.67mmol\;NH_{3}/g$ and it was much higher than that of active carbon or silica gel.

Walter Gropius, famous architect of Bauhaus, once treated of pure mind which was revealed in the system of object and its phenomena through sense of sight while examining material being and illusive being. And Thomas Aquinas said that man can have a creative power only with modest mental state void of prejudice saying that he expected God to come to him after his soul went out of him. The same thing was said by so many great philosophers and thinkers other than him. I think his saying, "God comes after Soul's escape from the body for a new creation", has a real truth for all times and places and beauty itself beyond expression. Why\ulcorner The reason why the saying is so true is because it has a Yin and Yang Idea, that is, the Soul means a dark spirit correspondent to Yin between both oriental ideas and God does a bright spirit correspondent to Yang between them. By reason of this idea, I would like to assert that we should take it granted that we stand in need of the same bright Yang's spirit as God has for the new creation, and let the Yang's bright spirit come to our minds. We can call it divine 'Providence', or call it God's guidance, which we cannot help accepting as a man's fatality. As God was pleased after he made man and all the creatures by dint of his design, so man was pleased after he made everything he needed by the same design that he accepted from God. In spite of pleasure of different dimensions from what God and Man has each other, their way of empathies were all the same. In this paper I compared a worldly lower conception by which man designed his products for his sensuous satisfaction with a higher conception by which God designed his creatures for his mental satisfaction. I intended to infer what destined relation there must be between both God's and man's creations, trying to remind designers that they have to confess to have not so divine a providence as God has for creation because I think the real truth is that they had regarded their works of product design as a routine occurrence for their physical convenience in the industrial plans.ial plans.
