RWIS 설치를 위한 우선순위 선정 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study of Determining Priorities of RWIS Installation)

  • PURPOSES : This paper presents how to determine priorities of RWIS installation on national highways within the limited budget. METHODS : Analytical hierarchy process was employed to develop the entire methodology. In addition to this, various data such as vulnerable roadway section for snow removal, RWIS, AWS, AADT, and traffic accident were properly collected and analyzed for the future analysis. Then, GIS analysis was performed to find out the final candidate vulnerable roadway section for snow removal. In the end, expert survey was conducted to estimate weights for evaluation criteria. RESULTS : Results showed that metropolitan area has the most high priority, and Gangwon area, ChungCheung, and Honam in order. CONCLUSIONS : The main contribution of this paper is to suggest a logical methodology to prioritize RWIS installation within the limited budget, and thus snow removal operation during the winter season can improve in terms of getting more valuable information.

발열 필름을 이용한 제설 기능 PV module & system 제작 및 특성평가 (A Study on the Fabrication and Characteristics of Snow Removal PV Module & System using Heating Film)

  • Piled snow upon PV module interferes with Photoelectric Effect process through photovoltaic directly. As a result of this phenomenon, its generation efficiencies keep decreasing or are stuck at zero power generating status. In addition, PV facilities have been installed on those places such as water surface, roof-top, and other isolated places, dealing with conditions of "Securing high REC weighted value", "Difficulty of securing land" and so forth. Through this study, we are able to actualize the function of heating over PV modules when it snows. We adopted laminating method through heating film and modules, guaranteeing warranty more than for 25 years. Also we are trying remote control systemically, not by hardware control, to run parallel with automatic driving and monitoring system which enable to control operation time, insolation, amount of snowfall automatically. We applied analysis of actual proof to both snow removal PV system and general PV power system, and these led to bear power consumption analysis while snow-removing, and its comparison after finishing the task as "One stone, two birds." In the long run, we could carry out economic analysis against snow removal system, and this helps to verify the most maximized control method for snow removal conditons on a basis of weather information. this study shall let prevent people from negligent accidents, and improve power generation problems as mentioned from the top. Ultimately, we expect to apply this system to heavy snowfall regions in winter season in spite of its limited system installaion in Korean territory, initially.

제설차량의 운행정보 실시간 모니터링 시스템 및 중계단말 분석 도구 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Relay Terminal Analysis Tool and Real-time Monitoring System for Driving Control Information of Snow-Removal Vehicles)

  • 본 논문에서는 국내 겨울철 폭설과 같은 재난 발생시 각 지자체 별로 확보되어 있는 제설차량을 효과적으로 운영하고 제설현장 정보 및 차량의 이동성을 실시간으로 모니터링하여 폭설 재난현장에 대해 신속히 대처할 수 있는 실시간 모니터링 시스템을 제안하였다. 또한, 제안 시스템에서 중계단말의 효과적인 진단 및 각종 제어정보를 분석할 수 있는 중계단말 분석 도구를 설계하였다. 제안한 시스템은 폭설시 제설차량의 위치정보와 제설작업을 위한 차량제어정보 및 제설작업 상태정보를 실시간으로 모니터링 함으로써 짧은 시간에 효과적인 작업진행과 실시간 이동경로추적을 통하여 폭설 재난상황에 대한 효과적인 응급대처가 가능한 시스템이다.

가속 드라이아이스 snow impact에 의한 도막 제거속도의 측정 (Measurement of Coating Removal Rate of Accelerated Dry Ice Snow Impact)

  • 드라이아이스 스노우 젯(dry ice snow jet)을 액체 이산화탄소의 고압팽창에 의해 만들고 운반기체에 의해 더욱 가속시킬 수 있었다. 코팅의 제거기구는 표면 오염입자의 그것과 크게 다르지 않았다. 코팅의 제거를 Hutchings 식으로 정량적으로 표현할 수 있었다. 이들 식에 의한 plot에서 얻은 두개의 매개변수로 코팅의 제거 속도와 단위 이산화탄소의 질량에 의해 제거된 비 코팅면적을 예측할 수 있었으며 아울러 실험데이터의 신뢰도와 실험 에러의 보정도 가능하게 되었다. 노즐 기판 거리와 노즐길이를 바꾸었을 때 얻어진 이들 plot이 한점에서 만날 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며 이점이 jet plume을 모음에서 얻어진 scar 반경의 증대효과와 jet를 확산시킴에서 얻어진 scar 반경 증대효과가 균형을 맞추는 데서 얻어진 것으로 판단된다.

이미지의 눈제거를 위한 심층 Resnet (Deep Residual Networks for Single Image De-snowing)

  • Atmospheric particle removal is a challenging task and attacks wide interests in computer vision filed. In this paper, we proposed a single image snow removal framework based on deep residual networks. According to the fact that there are various snow sizes in a snow image, the inception module which consists of different filter kernels was adopted to extract multiple resolution features of the input snow image. Except the traditional mean square error loss, the perceptual loss and total variation loss were employed to generate more clean images. Experimental results on synthetic and realistic snow images indicated that the proposed method achieves superior performance in respect of visual perception and objective evaluation.

연동온실 곡부 제설장치의 설계인자 도출을 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study for Deriving Design Factors of Snow Removal Machines for Multi-span Greenhouse)

  • This paper presents overall procedure by experimental study in order to deriving design factors of snow removal machine on roof of multi-span greenhouse. For the purpose of the testing, the scale model of the machine was made in the form to drive above the monorail. The test was performed in order to calculating friction coefficient of the machine and shear coefficient between sliced horizontal section of snow at constant temperature and humidity room in National Academic of Agricultural Science. As a result of the laboratory test, shear coefficient between sliced horizontal section of snow were calculated 1.60~2.37. Further investigation, we will study to derive the relationship between the real and scaled model through the field test.

도로 제설제 권장 살포량 산정식의 적정성 평가 (Evaluation of Reasonableness of the Recommended Spraying Amount Equation for De-icing Chemicals)

  • PURPOSES : This study evaluates the reasonableness of the recommended amount of deicing chemicals based on historical data for snow removal. The result can be used to aid decision-making for the reservation of cost-effective de-icing chemicals. METHODS : First, the recommended amount of de-icing chemical to use and historical usage data were evaluated to identify specific usage characteristics for each region. Road maintenance length and snow-removal working days were analyzed over the past five winter seasons. Next, differences in the recommended amount of chemical to use and actual use were compared using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Last, the two types of data were analyzed using a chi-square test to verify if the two distributions of variation pattern are statistically significant. We found that there are significant differences between the data from each region during the past five winter seasons. RESULTS : The results showed that the equation for calculating the amount of de-icing chemical to use appears to be revised. CONCLUSIONS : The results imply that the equation for calculating the amount of de-icing chemical to apply as a national standard is very important when the public agency makes decisions related to snow-removal.

도로 제설재의 효과적 사용방안에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study for the Effective Use Scheme of Snow Removal Materials on Road)

  • 최근 지구온난화로 인한 기후변화로 제설재의 사용량이 증가될 것으로 예상되어 제설재의 효율적인 관리가 필요하다. 우선 현실적으로 국내의 동절기 기온을 살펴볼 때 빙점강하의 역할을 30%, 염화칼슘 용액의 빙점인 $-52^{\circ}C$ 이하까지로 기준을 잡을 필요는 없다. 비용측면에서도 염화칼슘은 소금에 비해 2~3배 가량 가격이 비싸고 수급상황에서는 더 이상 국내에서는 생산이 되지 않고 전량 수입해야 하는 여건이므로 이에 따른 제설재의 활용방안을 다각적인 방향으로 고려해야 하는 상황이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 현재 제설작업에서 습염살포방식에서 사용하는 염화칼슘용액을 소금용액으로 대체하기 위한 기초적 연구로 융빙량 시험, 강재부식 시험, 콘크리트 동결융해 시험 등의 제설재의 품질시험을 통하여 기존의 제설효과에 비해 효과가 저하되지 않는 공법을 개발하고자 하였다.

Designing a Snow-removing Tool Through Ergonomic Approach

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to design a snow-removing tool using an ergonomic approach. Background: It is necessary to remove snow on the garden of a house or side street to prevent a fall hazard. When a user removes snow using a snow-removing tool, he or she experiences lots of physical discomfort. Therefore it is necessary to design a snow-removing tool to reduce a user's physical discomfort. Method: In this study, a new design for a snow-removing tool was developed considering user needs. The design prototype was compared with an existing tool through electromyography and subjective evaluation. Results: From the comparison evaluation, significant differences between the new design and the existing tool were identified in both muscle fatigue and subjective rating of discomfort. Conclusion: The result showed that the new design is better from the aspect of easing physical discomfort. Application: A new snow-removing tool can be developed using the design so that it can reduce a user's physical discomfort.

극지환경성능시험설비를 활용한 저온환경 시스템 구축 (Establishment of Low Temperature Environment System Using Polar Environment Performance Test Construction)

  • This paper was conducted to study the conditions for the manufacture and operation of artificial snow removal and ice-making test facilities so that the test equipment can be tested in a low-temperature environment using the polar environment performance test facility. The polar environment performance test Facility is designed to artificially simulate extreme environments up to -65 ℃, and is a mid-to-large low-temperature environment test facility that can perform performance tests on offshore plant equipment, ships, leisure, and offshore structures. To verify the safety of deck work of ships operating in polar environments, artificial snow removal and artificial ice making devices were manufactured, and we conducted research on various operating environments using these facilities. For the efficient operation of artificial snow and ice making facilities, it is important to continuously supply dry air, and it has been found that installing an additional heater at the tip of the nozzle is effective in preventing freezing.
