관광객의 스마트폰 이용 행위 요인: 모바일 뱅킹 서비스 중심 (Behavioral Factors Affecting Tourists' Smartphone Usage: Focus on Mobile Banking Service)

  • 본 연구에서는 관광객을 대상으로 스마트폰 모바일뱅킹 서비스에 대한 행동 의도에 미치는 영향 요인들을 탐색하고자 한다. 모바일 인터넷 기술의 발전과 스마트 폰의 보급으로 인해 스마트폰 기반의 모바일뱅킹에 대한 관심과 보급이 대중화되고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 본 연구에서는 독립변수로서 기대 성과, 사회적 영향, 촉진 조건, 인지된 재정적 비용, 습관, 인지된 보안 수준을, 그리고 종속변수로서 사용자의 이용행동의도 사이의 관계를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 제주국제공항에서 중국 관광객을 대상으로 203명의 응답자를 대상으로 분석을 실시하였고, Smartpls 3.0으로 독립변수들의 영향 정도를 파악하였다. 분석 결과 인지된 보안 수준 및 습관이 행동 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 특히 인지된 보안을 최근에 스마트폰 기반 모바일뱅킹의 중요한 이슈라는 점에서 본 연구 결과에 부합된다. 본 연구는 관광객 대상으로 스마트폰 기반 모바일 뱅킹 서비스의 행위 요인에 대한 분석이라는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

스마트폰 뱅킹 서비스 품질을 고려한 사용자 이용의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Users' Intention to Use Considering Service Quality of Smartphone Banking)

  • Purpose First, this study examines the relationship between characteristics of smartphone banking and trust of smartphone banking. Second, this study investigates the impact of perceived benefit on the trust and usage intention of smartphone banking. Finally, this study considers moderating effect of service quality in the relationships between perceived benefit and trust and usage intention of smartphone-based mobile banking. Design/methodology/approach This research uses the survey method to test its hypotheses, the survey population is smartphone baking users. A software tool called AMOS 17.0 used to analyze the research model. Findings The results showed that characteristics of smartphone banking channel like compatibility, timeliness, and mobility had a positive effect on the trust of smartphone banking. The device familiarity showed a significant positive impact on trust of smartphone banking. While the service quality moderated the relationship between trust and usage intention of smartphone banking, moderating effect of service quality in the relationship between perceived benefit and its usage intention was not significant. The results of this study could provide a theoretical framework to explain customers' decision of smartphone banking and practical implications for banking venders.

  • 오늘날 모바일뱅킹은 은행들에게 고객편의성 증대는 물론 비용절감의 기회를 제공할 수 있어 도입하는 은행들이 늘고있는 반면, 스마트폰 이용능력 부족 등과 같은 개인적 이유로 모바일 뱅킹을 이용하기를 꺼려하는 고객들이 아직 많기 때문에 이러한 고객들의 모바일뱅킹 이용 거부감이 은행 온라인 전략에 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 이러한 배경에서 본 연구에서는 개인적 및 사회영향요인들에 기초한 스마트폰 기반의 모바일 뱅킹서비스 수용의도의 예측 모델을 제시하고 이를 실증분석 방법을 통해 검증하는 데 주된 목적이 있다. 실증분석을 위해 751명의 모바일뱅킹 이용자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 가설검정 결과에 의하면, 개인적 영향요인들은 모두 수용의도에 긍정적인 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회적 영향요인들 중에서 인지된 무리행동은 수용의도에 유의한 영향이 있는 반면, 주관적 규범은 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타남에 따라, 모바일 뱅킹의 수용은 주변 지인들의 시선보다는 대세라는 인식에 의해 더 중요한 영향을 받는다는 점이 확인됐다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 학문적 및 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

  • Recently, due to the proliferation of smartphones, users of mobile banking services which are based in wireless Internet without constraint of the time and places are significantly increased. In the study, considering the characteristics of mobile banking services based on the smartphone and the user behavior. we analyse the factors which have an effect on the behavioral intention to use mobile banking services based on the smartphone. For this purpose, we use the model which is based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and add two constructs:the perceived enjoyment and the perceived risk. A survey data for 194 students at the K cyber university is used for statistical analysis. As a result, the perceived ease of use affects the perceived usefulness and the perceived enjoyment, and the perceived ease of use. And the perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment affect continuous intention to use. On the other hand, the hypothesis which the perceived risk would affect adversely the continuous intention to use is rejected. Through this study, we expect to provide the useful implications for the smartphone banking services and contribute to the development of strategy for them.

스마트폰 사용자가 모바일뱅킹을 사용하지 않는 이유: 소극적 저항과 적극적 저항의 차이를 중심으로 (Why Smartphone Users are Not Using Mobile Banking: Focusing on the Difference between Passive Resistance and Active Resistance)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate the reason why smartphone users do not use mobile banking based on Status Quo Bias and to find out whether there is a difference between passive resistance and active resistance. Design/methodology/approach This study made a design of the research model based on Status Quo Bias. SPSS 23.0 and SmartPLS 2.0 were used for the analysis. Multiple group analysis was performed to identify differences between groups. Findings According to the empirical analysis result, this study confirmed that inertia and perceived risk affected smartphone users who do not use mobile banking. According to the type of resistance, the active resistance group(64.2%) was more than the passive resistance group(35.8%), and it was confirmed that there was a difference in the reasons for not using mobile banking between passive and active resistance group. That is, the greatest difference between passive and active resistance groups was found to be perceived risk, which is an assessment of risk.

스마트폰 기반 모바일뱅킹 채택에 영향을 미치는 요인 : 기술준비도와 전문지식을 중심으로 (Factors for the Adoption of Smartphone-based Mobile Banking : On User's Technology Readiness and Expertise)

  • 본 연구는 스마트폰 기반 셀프 서비스의 대표적인 예인 모바일뱅킹의 소비자 수용 요인을 다루고 있다. 연구자는 선행연구를 통해 모바일뱅킹 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 선행변수를 이용자 특성(긍정적 부정적 기술준비도, 전문지식)에서 도출하였으며, 정보기술수용모형 (Technology Acceptance Model)과 기술준비도(Technology Readiness Index)의 혼합 모형인 기술준비도와 수용모형(Technology Readiness and Acceptance Model)을 이용하여 이용자의 전문지식과 긍정적 부정적 기술준비도가 모바일뱅킹의 이용 의도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 이용자의 전문지식과 긍정적 기술준비도는 모바일뱅킹의 인지된 유용성과 이용 용이성에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 이용자의 부정적 기술 준비도는 인지된 이용용이성에만 영향을 미칠 뿐, 인지된 유용성에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기술적 제약조건이 상당부분 해소된 VM 기반의 모바일뱅킹 서비스를 대상으로 하고 있으며, 신기술 도입에 관한 이용자 특성을 다룬 연구로써 의의를 가진다고 하겠다.

Using Choice-Based Conjoint Analysis to Determine Smartphone Choice - a Student's Perspective

  • The ability of smartphones to facilitate various services like mobile banking, e-commerce and mobile payments has made them part of consumers' lives. Conjoint analysis (CA) is a marketing research approach used to assess how consumers' preferences for products or services develop. The potential applications of CA are numerous in consumer electronics, banking and insurance services, job selection and workplace loyalty, consumer packaged goods, and travel and tourism. Choice-Based Conjoint (CBC) analysis is the most commonly used CA approach in marketing research. The purpose of this study is to utilise CBC analysis to investigate the relative importance of smartphone attributes that influence consumer smartphone preference. An experiment was designed using Sawtooth CBC Software. 326 students attempted the online survey. Utility values were derived by Hierarchical Bayes (HB) estimation and used to explain consumers' smartphone preferences. All the six attributes used for the study were found to significantly influence smartphone preference. Smartphone brand was the most important, followed by the price, camera, RAM, battery life, and storage. This study is one of the first to use Sawtooth CBC analysis to assess consumer smartphone preference based on the six attributes. We provide implications for the development of new smartphones based on attributes.

The Impact of Service Quality and Loyalty on Adoption and Use of Mobile Banking Services: Empirical Evidence from Central Asian Context

  • The service industry has been acknowledged as a critical part of mobile banking services in recent years. This study examines the impact of e-service quality and loyalty on the intention to use and use behavior of mobile banking services in Mongolia, a Central Asian country. As a result, based on past research, a conceptual model was suggested. This study comprises 209 completed questionnaires from young Mongolians who own a bank account and a smartphone. The data was collected based on convenience sampling, and it was analyzed with SmartPLS software using a partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The findings indicate that system quality, interface design, and security assurance have a significant positive impact on service quality; service quality has a positive impact on loyalty. Moreover, the results reveal that service quality and loyalty have a significant influence on the intention to use mobile banking services. The findings of this study suggest that local or international banks and financial institutions in Mongolia should consider system quality, interface design, and security concerns as key successors to building perceived security quality to retain current mobile banking users and attract new customers.

  • 2014년 1분기 국내 스마트폰 기반의 모바일 뱅킹 등록고객 수는 4,034만명으로 2013년말 대비 8.5%(316만명) 증가했고, 하루 평균 거래액은 1조6276억원으로 집계되었다. 또한 2014년 스마트폰 뱅킹 악성앱 발견건수는 1,440건으로 소액결제, 스마트폰 공인인증서 탈취, 정상적인 은행 앱을 악성 앱으로 바꾸는 등의 악성코드가 크게 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 이렇게 금융 스마트폰 앱 사용자수 및 거래액이 증가와 함께 스마트폰 악성코드 등도 늘어나면서 앱을 사용하는 금융소비자들에게 피해가 날로 확산되고 있다. 본 연구는 은행, 증권, 카드사들을 중심으로 금융 스마트폰 앱 설치 시 요구하는 개인정보 수집 권한에 대한 실태를 조사하였다. 이 결과를 토대로 개인정보 수집을 최소화 할 수 있는 방안을 제시하여 금융소비자의 개인정보를 안전하게 보호하고자 한다.

KANO 모델을 활용한 스마트폰의 만족 및 불만족 요인 분석 (Finding Smartphone's Factors which Affect Satisfaction or Dissatisfaction based on KANO Model)

  • The current study categorizes factors of smartphone into three, using KANO model: attractive factors which cause only product satisfaction, must-be factors for dissatisfaction, and one-dimensional factors for both. Based on it, it presents a new model for the effects that smartphone factors have on satisfaction or dissatisfaction. The purpose is to theoretically explain that smartphone factors on which companies and users place a high value can actually affect satisfaction or dissatisfaction. After choosing 15 factors out of 25 which had been selected through literature study, these were divided into attractive, must-be, and one-dimensional ones. 93 out of 109 questionnaires returned were used for analysis. After frequency analysis using SPSS were conducted on the surveys, the factors were grouped, based on KANO table. The grouping results are as follows. Attractive factors include 'expansion slots for external memory, battery desorption, brand awareness, mobile banking and internet telephony'. Must-be ones include 'multi-touch, information security, entertainment, information retrieval, location based service and SNS. Finally, 'screen visibility, size of internal memory, the amount of internal memory, battery life, and response to after-sales service' are classified as one-dimensional factors. A critical finding of this paper is that since the results are different depending on the operating system of smartphones, it must be taken into consideration in studies on smartphones. The wide and rapid spread of smartphones has changed people's lifestyle as well as business environment, which forces companies to compete with each other to adapt to the changed circumstances. In this competitive system, studies on smartphone factors of satisfaction and dissatisfaction are essential for firms to establish a new strategy. From this point of view, the present paper is expected to be a basic material for enterprises not only to develop goods and services that maximize customer satisfaction and minimize dissatisfaction, but also to establish the future business strategy.
