A Study on Physical Activity by Transportation Mode Using Heart Rate (심박수를 활용한 교통수단별 신체활동 정보 분석 연구)

  • Recently, with the development of various sensors and communication technologies, the market for wearable devices capable of recording physical activity in connection with a smartphone is expanding. The purpose of this study is to analyze physical activity for each transportation modes in order to utilize wearable devices in the field of transportation. This study consists of three steps: data collection, basic statistical analysis, and physical activity analysis. Four adult males and females were recruited as investigators, and physical activity and route information were collected through Fitbit, a commercial wearable device. From the collected physical activity information, a percentage of heart rate reserve (%HRR) using a heart rate was derived and used for analysis. As a results, it was found that there is a statistically significant difference in heart rate for each transportation mode, and physical activity intensity is the highest when walking. In addition, the results of physical activity analysis for the case of using different routes for the same OD were presented. The results presented in this study are expected to be used as basic data for preparing public transportation activation policies and providing customized services for the future.

Spatial analysis based on topic modeling using foreign tourist review data: Case of Daegu (외국인 관광객 리뷰데이터를 활용한 토픽모델링 기반의 공간분석: 대구광역시를 사례로)

  • As smartphone-based tourism platforms have become active, policy establishment and service enhancement using review data are being made in various fields. In the case of the preceding studies using tourism review data, most of the studies centered on domestic tourists were conducted, and in the case of foreign tourist studies, studies were conducted only on data collected in some languages and text mining techniques. In this study, 3,515 review data written by foreigners were collected by designating the "Daegu attractions" keyword through the online review site. And LDA-based topic modeling was performed to derive tourism topics. The spatial approach through global and local spatial autocorrelation analysis for each topic can be said to be different from previous studies. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that there is a global spatial autocorrelation, and that tourist destinations mainly visited by foreigners are concentrated locally. In addition, hot spots have been drawn around Jung-gu in most of the topics. Based on the analysis results, it is expected to be used as a basic research for spatial analysis based on local government foreign tourism policy establishment and topic modeling. And The limitations of this study were also presented.

The Study on the Difference of Information Security Awareness between PC and Smartphone (사용자의 PC와 스마트폰에 대한 정보보안 인식 차이에 관한 연구)

  • In the information age, the rapid development of information technology provides people with an enriching experience yet also causes them harm because of information security (IS) issues. The IS of smartphones faces great challenges. Although many studies on IS awareness have been conducted, most of them have focused on PCs and do not consider the security issues of smartphones. In this study, we focus on those factors that affect IS awareness for both PCs and smartphones. We also analyze the differences in the impacts of certain factors on PCs and smartphones based on the proposed research model. The results are summarized as follows. First, the understanding of security technique, understanding of IS threat, and IS education have significant impacts on IS awareness for PCs and smartphones, while IS intention has a significant impact on IS awareness for PCs but not for smartphones. Moreover, IS policy has no significant impact on IS awareness. Second, PCs and smartphones show no significant differences in IS awareness, IS threat, and IS intention, but show significant differences in understanding of security technique, IS education, and IS policy.

  • Companies recently tend to move their business sites to a customer-centered location and the work place is changed from specific time and place to a working environment of anytime and anywhere the job can be done. Therefore, the design and implementation of business-work management system using mobile applications has been actively researched. In this study, the business-work management system, a mobile application using GPS, is immediately transmitted to ERP system and is stored into a company's formula DB, at such sites outside the company as business trip destinations, training institutions, and outside meetings, through smartphone-based GPS location information using WiFi, 3G, LTE, or 4G. In this way, it is aimed to design and develop the mobile application system to obtain rapid authorization in connection with electro nic document approval system. Also, this study is to measure the system's productivity and expected effects through the users' survey results by actual application of the designed and developed system to companies.

  • If a digital signage system is operated in PC mounted in the Window OS then the implementing price is very high. For resolving this problem, we used the Smartphone mounted in ARM Cortex family of multi-core processor-based mobile platform. We developed a low-power low-cost digital signage system and a remote convergence content management program based on web server. This convergence system manages advertising content to a remote control device anywhere using remote control technology. This system is one integrated system with display and is a low-power consumed and is developed in very efficient hardware interface. And condition sensors(intensity of illumination, temperature, weather, GPS etc) is equipped in the developed system. Automatic contents builder and Context-aware SMIL module is also implemented in the convergence system. We achieved over 50% power savings comparing with conventional Window OS system and 16 points multi-touch in our system.

  • Lately, the development and utilization of technology of the Internet of Things(IoT), and Fintech have been on the rise and amid the emerging convergence of system and service, mobile payment system and location based service technology have received much attention. Considering the fact that smartphone users are currently utilizing mobile payment frequently, many corporations are introducing various methods to the market for easy payment process of consumers by grafting various technologies, and by utilizing the technology based on BLE technology and location based technology, it is emerging as new method applied to payment service such as ZEP, for easy payment process. And by checking the existence of security threats and studying the attack techniques in these payment services, we strive to suggest a method of response based on big data platform.

  • The flood and environment surveillance network on riverside is a network requiring a way to efficiently manage the information from all kinds of sensors, along with an optical communication device that can deliver high-quality video information at high speed. Since on-site prompt recovery is very important especially for communication problems that occurred due to cut-off or aged network, various researches have been carried out on this. However, because the security against outside hacking or outside intrusion with illegal purposes is very important for environment surveillance network, such as the national backbone network, an efficient network maintenance and repair should be enabled while satisfying security and reliability at the same time. A characteristic of requirement is that when security is improved, the efficiency of maintenance and repair drops as they are conflicting to each other. Therefore, this research proposed a system in order to satisfy the conflicting requirement and improve security, by developing a one-way Bypass TAP and an android-based smartphone app that can enable efficient network maintenance and repair.

  • Smartphone is popularized, it is a lot of development of the mobile advertising industry, is born many types of mobile advertising. Many developers in the mobile game is the advertised profitable by using the SDK of service companies that service the advertising the launch of free games. Mobile IGA banner, front advertising, we use the ad in the three forms of the front video advertising, each of advertising, have advantages and disadvantages. Although many of the games currently use a full-page ad and front video ads, these ads profitable model is use the user game play time.   • People established a network much more using smart equipments by means of the development of the mobile industry. They can get useful information easily, make new personal connections and communities, and form various personal connections using the communities. The importance of contact, timing, and utility of time plays an important role in human relations. Many programs related to personal relations are already saturated. In other words, they are very significant and difficult to use. Many programs that didn't be concerned ahead of time about how to deal with a lot of the amount of information effectively and take it out in order to use it could bring about negative results. Human being already makes use of physical-empirical language in all of the conscious and unconscious areas. This study begins at the supposition that how to make it easy to apply humane gestures and languages to applications with portable equipment close to human beings.
