Effects of Sources and Quality of LED Light on Response of Lycium chinense of Photosynthetic Rate, Transpiration Rate, and Water Use Efficiency in the Smart Farm

  • Smart farm is a breakthrough technology that can maximize crop productivity and economy through efficient utilization of space regardless of external environmental factors. This study was conducted to investigate the optimal growth and physiological conditions of Chinese matrimony vine (Lycium chinense) with LED light sources in a smart farm. The light source was composed of red+blue and red+blue+white mixed light using a LED system. In the red+blue mixed light, red and blue colored LEDs were mixed at ratios of 1:1, 2:1, 5:1, and 10:1, with duty ratios varied to 100%, 99%, and 97%. The experimental results showed that the photosynthetic rate according to the types of light sources did not show statistically significant differences. Meanwhile, the photosynthetic rate according to the mixed ratio of the red and the blue light was highest with the red light and blue LED ratio of 1:1 while the water use efficiency was highest with the red and blue LED ratio of 2:1. The photosynthetic rate according to duty ratio was highest with the duty ratio of 99% under the mixed light condition of red+blue+white whereas the water use efficiency was highest with the duty ratio of 97% under the mixed light of red+blue LED. The results indicate that the light source and light quality for the optimal growth of Lycium chinense in the smart farm using the LED system are the mixed light of red+blue (1:1) and the duty ratio of 97%.

  • 글로벌 경제의 저성장 기조에 따라 해운기업들과 항만기업들은 다양한 경영난을 겪고 있다. 하지만 성장의 기조가 정체되어 있는 현 시점, 성장의 돌파구를 4차 산업혁명의 기술로 풀어나가고자 하는 시도가 다양한 산업과 기술에서 발생하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 앞으로 다가올 스마트항만의 원활한 구축을 위해 현재 우리나라의 항만시스템에 대해 살펴보고, 보다 원활한 정책 도입과 기술 도입을 위한 방향은 무엇인지에 대해 진단할 기초 연구가 필요하다는 문제의식에서 스마트항만과 관련된 탐색적 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구 목적의 달성을 위해 다양한 선행연구들을 검토하고, 항만과 관련된 뉴스 기사와 해양수산부의 보고서, 외국 문헌 등을 다양하게 고찰하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 스마트 항만 도입과제 및 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

스마트시티사업을 위한 설문결과 분석과 추진 방향 -도농복합도시 금산군의 사례- (The Analysis and Preparation Guideline of Survey for Smart-City -Focused on the Case Study of Geumsan-gun-)

  • 본 논문은 지방 중소도시로 도농복합도시 금산군을 대상으로 진행한 스마트시티 사업에서 주민과 공무원을 대상으로 지역내 문제와 스마트서비스 선호도에 대한 설문조사를 실시한 결과를 분석하고 그 경험을 토대로 설문조사 추진 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 진행하는데 금산군의 자연 인문적 환경과 스마트시티와 관련한 지역현황도 함께 조사하였다. 중요한 설문조사 결과는 다음과 같다. 주거환경에 대한 만족도는 응답자의 절반이상이 살기 좋다고 평가하고 있었으며 지역내 문제는 복지부족, 주차부족, 산업인프라(일자리)부족 등의 순서로 꼽았다. 그런데 지역내 문제와는 별도로 스마트서비스를 우선해서 확충해야하는 분야로는 관광레저인프라, 건강의료, 산업인프라(일자리) 순서로 나타났다. 이것은 지역문제를 해결하는 것과 스마트서비스 선호와는 다르게 나타나는 특징이 있다. 설문조사를 진행하는데 있어 방향 제시는 다음과 같다. 설문조사의 실시도구는 군청내 그룹웨어 설문서비스를 사용하고 주민들에게는 1대1설문, 온라인설문조사플랫폼(구글설문지, 서베이몽키 등)을 활용한다. 특히 주민설문은 지역모임을 대상으로 핵심질문으로 압축하고 쉬운 용어를 사용한다. 예비조사에서 관련공무원과 면담을 통해 관련사업, 지역밀착형 설문으로 선별하는 것이 중요하다. 무엇보다 스마트시티사업은 지역문제와 여건을 고려하고 이를 설문조사를 통해 파악한 후 지역문제를 해결하면서 주민의 니즈를 반영해야 한다.

스마트 해운항만물류 인력 수요 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on Forecasting Manpower Demand for Smart Shipping and Port Logistics)

  • 4차 산업혁명의 영향으로 해운항만물류산업의 스마트화에 따른 전문인력의 수요를 예측하기 위하여 통계청의 2000년~2020년 기간의 운수업조사 자료와 해양수산부의 한국선원통계연보 2004년~2021년도 자료를 활용하여 추세분석과 시계열 분석을 실시하였다. 해운항만물류산업의 인력 수요 예측에서 추세분석의 선형회귀모형의 타당성이 가장 높은 것으로 평가되어 이를 적용하였다. 자율운항선 해기인력, 원격선박관리인력, 스마트 해운비즈니스 인력, 스마트 항만인력. 스마트 창고인력, 스마트 해운항만물류 서비스 인력의 2021~2035년 기간의 인력 수요를 예측한 결과, 스마트 해운항만물류인력 수요는 2023년 8,953명, 2030년 20,688명, 2035년 26,557명으로 증가하는 것으로 예측되었다. 이 연구는 스마트 해운항만물류 인력수요에 대한 연구가 아직 이루어지지 않은 상태에서 스마트 인력수요를 통계자료에 근거하여 객관적으로 추정함으로써 인력 수요의 예측 가능성을 높이고, 향후 필요 전문인력 양성 방안을 수립하는데 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

The Factors Influencing the Use of Shared Economy-Based Mobility Services

  • Purpose: Shared mobility services are the most notable in the shared economy; however, they have yet to be activated in Korea due to various regulations and conflicts amongst stakeholders. Nevertheless, shared mobility has become an irresistible trend of the times, as it can cause a great deal of economic and environmental benefits. In this vein, the purpose of this study is to contribute to the revitalization of shared mobility services in Korea and to provide service providers with implications for developing consumer-oriented marketing strategies. Research design, data and methodology: Based on the reasons that the users do not use shared mobility service, the factors influencing the behaviors of shared mobility users are structured and analyzed in a reliable, technical and procedural manner. To this end, the theory of reasoned action (TRA) of Ajzen and Fisbbein, the initial trust model (ITM), task technology fit (TTF) and switching cost (SC) are adopted. A total of 202 questionnaires were collected from the respondents who were aware of shared mobility. Then statistical processing of the collected data used SmartPLS(v.3.2.8), a PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling) analysis program. The steps of the analysis are as follows. First, a PLS-Algorithm analysis was performed to evaluate the measurement model, and a Bootstraping and Blindfolding analysis was performed to evaluate the structural model and verify the hypotheses. Second, a multi-group analysis (PLS-MGA) was conducted to further analyze the differences depending on whether or not users experienced shared mobility service. Results: The results showed that initial trusts model (ITM) and task technology fit (TTF) have positive effects on users' behaviors through the mediation of the intention to use. As opposed to the assumption, switching costs did not have negative moderating effects in relation to the intention to use and users' behaviors. The influence of IT self-efficacy was significant, depending on the prior experience to use shared mobility services. Conclusions: This study will contribute to the revitalization of domestic shared mobility services and the formulation of service providers' marketing strategies. In future studies, there is a need to explore, reconstruct, and validate factors other than the impact factors of the shared mobility services used in this research model.

디지털 경제 시대의 조직문화 유형에 따른 경영전략 및 경영성과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Management Strategies and Management Performance According to Organizational Culture Types in the Digital Economy Era)

  • 본 연구 목적은 디지털 경제 시대에 요구되는 경영전략과 조직문화가 경영성과에 어떠한 영향이 있는지를 규명하였다. 디지털 선도국가로 접근하는데 필요한 경영전략과 조직문화에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하였다. 자료수집은 2022년 3월 1일부터 5월 30일까지 J도에 소재하며 디지털 경제에 관련된 산업을 하고 있는 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사는 온라인 비대면 조사를 진행하였고, 총 225개의 기업이 조사에 참여하였다. 통계분석은 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석 및 신뢰도 분석, 군집분석, 독립표본 t-test, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조직문화는 혁신지향, 관계지향, 과업지향, 위계지향에서 선호도에 따라 높은 집단과 낮은 집단으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 조직문화 4가지 유형은 선호도에 따라 공격형 전략, 분석형 전략, 방어형 전략, 차별화 전략, 원가우위 전략, 재무성과, 비재무성과에서 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 재무성과에 미치는 경영전략은 분석형 전략, 차별화 전략, 공격형 전략, 원가우위 전략으로 나타났다. 넷째, 비재무성과에 미치는 경영전략은 차별화 전략, 방어형 전략, 분석형 전략, 공격형 전략, 원가우위 전략, 집중화 전략으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 재무성과에 미치는 조직문화는 과업지향으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 비재무성과에 미치는 조직문화는 혁신지향, 관계지향으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 국내 시장에서는 경기가 활성화 되고, 글로벌 시장에서는 새롭게 도약할 수 있는 성장 생태계가 조성되길 기대한다.

Quantitative Analysis of Poverty Indicators: The Case of Khon Kaen Province, Thailand

  • This study examines the poverty indicators in Northeast region of Thailand by adopting the global Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) methodology and the national survey of Minimum Basic Needs (MBN) of Thailand. Data are collected from three different districts in Khon Kaen province namely: Khok Po Chai, Sam Sung, and Nam Pong. The sample size is 187 households. Data analysis uses Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression approach and includes 7 dimensions of poverty (health, environment, education, economy, Thai value, asset? empowerment, and digital literacy) with a total of 41 indicators. This study has found that poverty indicators in Khon Kaen province remains centered around the aspects of health and employment dimensions. While a change of family structure in the Thai society since 1960s reduces the family size, household saving substantially increases over the years. The effects of health dimension in poverty, on the other hand, appears on the other poverty dimension of Thai value, which include (1) a bad living habit of head of household (smoke or alcohol consumption) that links with illness and disease, (2) religious practice, and (3) chronic illness. Lastly, there are income gaps of different careers in the area, which suggests the issue of income inequality.

제주도에서 전기자동차 보급이 전력계통에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Penetration of the Electric Vehicles on the Electric Power Grid in the Jeju Island)

  • The Jeju Special Self-Government Provincial Government has made the plan penetrating gradually electric vehicles(EVs) in the Jeju Special Self-Government Province(Jejudo). However the effects of EVs penetration on the electrical grid of the Jejudo is not reported. In this paper the yearly electric energy consumed by the EVs was calculated and the effects of the EV penetration on the peak power of the grid were analyzed in the Jejudo for the future 10 years, and we hope that our study results will help the governors realize the EVs penetration plan in the Jejudo. The calculation results show that the rate of the electric energy used by the EVs will become to 2.9% at its maximum at the 2017 year when the penetration rate of EVs in passenger cars becomes 10%, and the rate of the electric energy consumed by the EVs will become to 9.4% at its maximum at the 2020 year when the penetration rate of EVs in passenger cars becomes 30%. The concepts of smart-charging capacity and 100%-valley-filling charging capacity of the grid were defined and calculated for the Jeju Grid, and the grid was analyzed to have the sufficient EV charging capacity until the 2022 year.

Will You Buy It Now?: Predicting Passengers that Purchase Premium Promotions Using the PAX Model

  • Upselling is often a critical factor in revenue generation for businesses in the tourism and travel industry. Utilizing passenger data from a major international airline company, we develop the PAX (Passenger, Airline, eXternal) model to predict passengers that are most likely to accept an upgrade offer from economy to premium. Formulating the problem as an extremely unbalanced, cost-sensitive, supervised binary classification, we predict if a customer will take an upgrade offer. We use a feature vector created from the historical data of 3 million passenger records from 2017 to 2019, in which passengers received approximately 635,000 upgrade offers worth more than $422,000,000 U.S. dollars. The model has an F1-score of 0.75, outperforming the airline's current rule-based approach. Findings have several practical applications, including identifying promising customers for upselling and minimizing the number of indiscriminate emails sent to customers. Accurately identifying the few customers who will react positively to upgrade offers is of paramount importance given the airline 'industry's razor-thin margins. Research results have significant real-world impacts because there is the potential to improve targeted upselling to customers in the airline and related industries.

Impact of EVFTA on Trade Flows of Fruits between Vietnam and the EU

  • The European Union Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) took effect on August 1 paving the way for increased trade between the EU and Vietnam; this marked a huge turning point for the Vietnamese economy. Agriculture products, especially fruits, must be listed when it comes to Vietnam export industries that profit the most from EVFTA. After a period of study, with the desire to contribute to the improvement in the efficiency of Vietnam's agricultural products to the EU, the researchers want to assess the impact of the EVFTA on the flows of Vietnamese fruits to the EU market. The study uses a quantitative analysis method via the WITS-SMART model with data on export turnover and tariff reductions in parallel with the analysis of changes in factors affecting the trade flows of fruits between the two markets when the EVFTA takes effect. As a result, Vietnam's fruit importing from the EU is expected to escalate by 29.18% in 2021, while the flow of export will only inch up by 0.955%, which is rather low compare to the increase in import value. Hence, effective policies must be introduced in Vietnam to innovate production methods and increase product quality, so that the EVFTA can be used to boost Vietnam's fruit exports to the EU.
