Based on data provided by the science and technology knowledge infrastructure (ScienceON, 2017-2021), this paper reviews the research trends of domestic police services and related technologies, and describes the research and development direction of policing technology. For this purpose, the research was searched using the keywords science policing, smart policing, predictive policing, and policing. Policing technology is used for crime investigation (prevention), such as crime analysis and crime prediction. The collection of related data use urban infrastructure, the processing of data collected using technologies, such as artificial intelligence, and the utilization of data in police services (system) were summarized. In future, on-site support technology and crime investigation (prevention) technology for a preemptive correspondence to social threats and effective police activities must be developed. In addition, the quality of police services should be improved, a system to use police-related data should be developed, and the capabilities of police experts need to be strengthened.

Recently, the rapid development of science and technology is a new challenge and opportunity in the policing environment. In the major industrialized countries of the West presents a strategy called SMART Policing the police to strengthen police capacity in accordance with this social change and actively utilize the science and technology in policing field. In this study, we attempted to discuss our country for the establishment of security technology research and development organization. First, I propose that installed the R&D planning department at the Office of Planning and Coordination in the National Police Agency. Secondly, it is need to establish the (provisional) Police Science and Technology Center, that integrate the functions of each organization's R&D-related work. Finally, it should integrate Police Science Institute and the National Forensic Service in (provisional) Policing Technology Research Institute.

'SMART Police' means collecting, analyzing and utilizing the police database such as crime statistics, reflecting 'strategic management', 'analysis and research', 'science technology' do. In recent years, the number of sex offenses has more than doubled based on the 'crime analysis' of the Supreme Prosecutors' In this trend, we started to build a sex crime prevention program for women 's relief special 3.0 which is suitable for regional characteristics. However, it was not enough for the women to have low publicity and utilization results, and to show the practical effect. In the future, we propose a crime prevention system which can safely take home safeguarding with autonomous driving car or drone by applying ICT to the future police system. Although it is difficult to operate autonomous vehicles and drones in the surrounding environment such as narrow alleys and power lines for application to this system, it is thought that the artificial intelligence technology can be sufficiently overcome to operate.

Network virtualization enables us to make efficient use of resources in a physical network by embedding multiple virtual networks in the physical network. In this paper, we develop a prototype of a virtual network embedding system. Our system consists of OpenStack, which is an open source cloud service platform, and shell scripts. Because OpenStack does not provide a quality of service control function, we realize bandwidth reservation for virtual links by making use of the ingress policing function of Open vSwitch, which is a virtual switch used in OpenStack. The shell scripts in our system automatically construct the required virtual network on the physical network using the OpenStack command-line interface, and they reserve bandwidth for virtual links using the Open vSwitch command. Experimental evaluation confirms that our system constructs the requested virtual network and appropriately allocates node and link resources to it.
