  • A lot of applications are being developed as a result of popular smart machinery. Especially, Android OS that has high market share in smart phone market, applications are being developed and resulted. response time is delayed because service process of application do not work well although the space for using resource is enough. The purpose of this paper, analysis tool analyze response time of application to grope for an answer to the question about delayed response time of application.

  • 본 논문에서는 안전주행지원 솔루션인 스마트폰용 차선이탈경보 애플리케이션의 실행 속도 향상 방법을 연구하였다. 이전 연구에서 스마트폰(iPhone 3GS) 기반의 차선이탈경보 어플리케이션을 개발하였는데 입력 영상의 처리 속도가 1.52fps였다. 본 연구에서는 영상 처리 속도를 향상시키기 위한 최적화 작업을 진행하였으며 기존의 차선이탈경보 어플리케이션의 차선인식 속도보다 프레임당 평균 0.4초 정도 단축되어 약 4fps 속도로 성능을 보였다. 향후 추가 연구를 통해 처리 속도를 좀 더 향상시킬 것이다.

  • Times have changed and using smart phones is common to everyone, regardless of men and women of all ages. Especially, making educational applications is on a rising trend. This report aims to build a program, which makes young children easily meet and learn Hangul anytime, anywhere, to keep pace with the change and trend. As everyone knows, young children's Hangul learning process is changing with smart phone generalization. Young children usually learned Hangul based on paper books but now times have changed, instead, smart phones can be used to learn Hangul anytime, anywhere, and this trend is seen everywhere easily. This report explains how to build smart phone applications to make it easier to learn and understand educational Hangul plays.

  • Recently, it becomes usual that several sensor accessories are attached to the USB port of smart phones. In this paper, we propose a sensor accessory plug@play platform for easing the attachment of it to the usb port in a smart phone. Sensor developers make sensor modules which obey the standard of sensor interface and write the device driver of it using the standard APIs. The sensor application for the smart phone is made using the web app style. The device drivers and sensor web applications are stored in the sensor web server. When a user plugs the sensor module into the usb port, the device driver and sensor web are retrieved automatically from the server and it is played. We believe that our platform activates the development of sensor accessories for smart phones.

  • Owing to developments in the internet of things, many products have developed and various researches have processed. Smart home systems in Internet of things area are receiving attention from many people than the other areas. Autonomous mobile robots perform various parts in many industries. In this paper, a smart housekeeping robot was implemented using internet of things and an autonomous mobile robot. In order to make a smart housekeeping robot, Raspberry Pi, wireless USB camera, and uBrain robot of Huins Corp. is used. To control the robot, cell-phone connected with IP of Raspberry Pi, and then Raspberry Pi connected with uBrain robot using Bluetooth. a smart housekeeping robot was controlled using commands of a cell-phone application. If some user wants to move a robot automatically, we implemented that a robot can be chosen an autonomous driving mode from the user. In addition, we checked a realtime video using a cell-phone and computer. This smart housekeeping robot can help user check their own homes in real time.

  • According to the rapid growth and popularization of the SMART device, the society is being changed greatly and importance of SW education is being emphasized. Also many student have a lot of interests about mobile application programming. The latest study suggests using the robots in the programming education may help to induce learners' interest and motivation, participation, achievement. So in this research, I designed a programming educational plan for SW education using robot and mobile application development tool(App Inventor) and applied them. And I conducted a survey four ares such as class, robot, App Inventor, robot and App Inventor. As a result, learner's response of interest and satisfaction was very positive commonly at four areas. In particular, learners could get programming result immediately using smart phone and could control the robot using smart phone, so learner's interest had increased especially. The conclusion is that suggested plan for SW education using robot and mobile application development tool is useful for programming education.

  • The paper describes the efficient and agile design methodology for the smart phone application, so called the App. Despite the number of smart phones as well as their applications is rapidly being increased recently, the smart and easy methodology for App development is not well developed and not matured in use yet. Since the App is converted to programs or contents from the new ideas, especially, it is important to design and implement the App rapidly and systematically. In order to resolve this problem, we adopt the UI centered approach first of all, emphasizing user-efficient utilization of applications. And we also try to build the whole process in streamlined procedure, making each step reasonable, and the input and output for the step well organized. The design methodology described here is evaluated by designing popular sample application, Scheduler, and also compared with some well-known software design methodologies.

  • Smartphone has formed a new market and introduced a new environment. They have an operating system like PCs, enabling free installation and removal of application programs. As the number of Smartphone users is increasing, more personal information is also exposed to malicious codes. There are problem of modification and deletion of files, battery consumption, and information leakage due to malicious codes. As the needs of Smartphone antivirus solutions are increasing, the antivirus solutions should be evaluated with quality characteristics. In this paper, we propose an effective evaluation method for functionality and performance of Smartphone antivirus solutions, and the best practices for evaluation.

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 많은 관심을 받고 있는 스마트폰을 이용해 자신이 원하는 도서의 위치정보를 빠르게 찾는 방법을 소개 하고자 한다. 도서관에서 책의 위치를 미리 파악하고, 도서관에서 찾고자 하는 책을 빠르게 찾으므로서 필요한 정보를 찾기 위한 시간과 노력을 절감할 수 있는 방안을 소개한다. 안드로이드 운영체제를 이용하여 도서관 서버에 접속하여 검색하고, 그 책의 위치 정보를 사용자에게 전달하여 도서관에서 자신이 원하는 정보를 찾기 위한 시간과 노력을 절감할 수 있는 어플리케이션을 구현 하였다.
