The global positioning system (GPS)-enabled mobile phones provide location-based applications such as car and pedestrian navigation services. The pedestrian navigation services provide safe and comfortable route and path guidance for pedestrians and handicapped or elderly people. One of the essential components for a navigation system is a spatial database used to perform navigation and routing functions. In this paper, we develop modeling and categorization of pedestrian path components for smart tour guide services using the mobile pedestrian navigation application. We create pedestrian networks using 2D base map and sky view map in urban area. We also construct pedestrian networks and attributes of node, link, and POI using on-site GPS data and photos for smart pedestrian tour guide in the major walking tourist spots in Jeju.

본 논문은 휴대단말을 위한 차세대 인터페이스 기술을 수용하기 위한 지능형 사용자 인터페이스 플랫폼인 SUIP를 기술한다. SUIP 플랫폼은 안드로이드 플랫폼을 확장하여 새로운 인터페이스 장치를 수용할 수 있도록 개발되었다. 새로운 인터페이스에 대한 응용 개발을 위하여 소프트웨어 모듈의 동적 로딩 기능을 지니고 있다. 또한, 사용자 인터페이스 품질을 높이기 위한 외부 장치 활용을 위한 플래폼 기술과, 서비스에 따른 전력 소모를 줄이기 위한 동적 인터페이스 스위칭 기술도 포함하고 있다.

This paper proposes the design of Vehicular Cyber-Physical Systems (called VCPS) based on vehicular cloud for smart road networks. Our VCPS realizes mobile cloud computing services where vehicles themselves or mobile devices (e.g., smartphones and tablets of drivers or passengers in vehicles) play a role of both cloud server and cloud client in the vehicular cloud. First, this paper describes the architecture of vehicular networks for VCPS and the delay modeling for the event prediction and data delivery, such as a mobile node's travel delay along its navigation path and the packet delivery delay in vehicular networks. Second, the paper explains two VCPS applications as smart road services for the driving efficiency and safety through the vehicular cloud, such as interactive navigation and pedestrian protection. Last, the paper discusses further research issues for VCPS for smart road networks.

The smart phone are changing the way people communicate. And, the mobile app marketplace is greatly fast-growing. The app store continues its rapid growth, there are already more than 900,000 mobile apps on AppStore. We anticipate to see gained momentum throughout the business. Mobile is also becoming popular for marketers. Therefore, specialized app analysis systems are becoming important to how marketers and app developers invest, analyze and market their apps. App analysis systems enable users to discover and analyze behavior through data observations and meaningful patterns. In this paper, we introduce app analysis system and CMS System Open API, NugaLog. The NugaLog acquires users data and engages with them in a variety of ways. It will be essential for us to understand how users interact with and move through the app. The NugaLog will be able to see the number of users, smart phone model, smart phone OS, resolution, page views, and app version.

In recent, android application developments have been done widely that intensify smart phone utilization. In this paper, we propose a curriculum that undergraduate students can improve their mobile programming abilities as well as integrate experiences of application development based on android. And also a series of practices to advance their sense of accomplishment are added by offering an opportunity to carry out a real project to use a variety of sensors embedded in smart phone during the course of study. The project is composed of a series of modules for implementing a trekking App that helpful to people who enjoy spending time in outdoors through their favorite activities such as trekking, cycling, and climbing with their own smart phones. Through practical curriculum operation and project implementation, we show that the proposed curriculum is appropriate to a mobile programming education that combine learning and practice.

최근 네트워크를 이용한 온라인 원격 진료 서비스가 논의 되고 있는 시점에서 원격 진료 서비스에서도 특정 환자에게 맞는 의료 서비스 매칭 서비스에 대한 필요성이 핫 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 Mobile SmartPhone 환경에서 환자 맞춤형 의료 서비스 지원 시스템을 설계하고 온라인상에서 환자에게 맞는 의료 기관을 매칭하여 특정 환자에게 맞는 최적의 의료 서비스를 제공하는 시스템을 설계 하고자 한다.

인터넷을 기반으로 하는 모바일 환경이 웹 정보시스템의 영역을 지속적으로 확대해가고 있다. 모바일 인터넷은 무선 네트워크 기술의 발달, 스마트 단말기기의 확산, 다양한 모바일 서비스 플랫폼의 등장 등으로 인한 모바일 콘텐츠 및 서비스가 확대되고 있다. 모바일 웹은 스마트폰이나 모바일 기기를 이용하여 모바일 네트워크나 다른 무선 네트워크에 접근해 인터넷 서비스에 접근하는 것을 말한다. 최근 국내에서 스마트폰 사용률이 급속도로 증가하고 있으며, 수많은 기업이 모바일 시장에 진입하고 있으며, 이에 따른 모바일 웹 정보시스템의 운영방안에 대한 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 모바일 환경 구축을 위한 정보시스템의 운영방안에 대하여 국제적인 정보시스템 운영 관련 기준인 COBIT, ITIL, SLA와 한국정보화진흥원의 정보시스템 운영관련 기준을 비교 분석하였으며, 모바일 환경과 정보시스템 운영지침의 적합성을 분석하여 모바일 웹, 운영환경 및 ITIL V3을 비교 연구하였다.

Korean prior studies on smart clothing seeking complete mixture of clothing and computer with diverse functions in the ubiquitous environment were so mere, while there have been aggressive activities to develop diverse smart clothing products led by the relevant industries and universities in foreign countries. Given prospective growth of the smart clothing market, there should be customers' evaluation of functions and utility of and sensitivity to smart clothing as well. This study conducted a questionnaire to Korean customers in their twenties regarding their perception and liking of and willingness to use smart clothing, and examined the needs of new functions of smart clothing. As a result, the customers in their twenties turned out to like well-designed and comfortable clothing, and be exposed to diverse and continuous computing environment. Also, they have relatively low perception but considerably high liking of smart clothing, indicating their high willingness to use smart clothing products. They cited 'selectable functions' and 'mobile and convenient ' as merits, and 'too expensive' and 'easy to wash' as demerits of smart clothing. In the respect, they proposed many interesting smart clothing ideas, such as 'clothing with automatic temperature-sensing function, which gets higher heat- insulating function by tightening the textile structure in winter and higher ventilating function by loosening the textile structure in summer.' We hope the results of this study will serve basic data for development of more efficient smart clothing in the future.

정보통신기술의 발달과 스마트 기기의 대중화는 정치, 경제, 문화 뿐 만 아니라 교육에까지 영향을 미치고 있다. 이러한 최신 기술을 바탕으로 모바일 기반의 능동적 학습을 가능하게 하는 스마트교육은 21세기 새로운 교육 패러다임으로 주목받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 보건의료계열 학생들이 언제 어디서나 편리하게 의학용어를 학습 할 수 있는 의학용어 학습 앱인 SMT(Smart Medical Terminology)를 개발하였다. SMT에서는 의학용어 학습에 흥미와 동기를 부여하고, 학습자의 수준에 따라 자기주도적으로 학습할 수 있는 다양한 형태의 학습 방법을 제공하고 있다.

증강현실 기술은 가상의 정보와 현실의 배경을 혼합하여 사용자에게 제공하는 기술로, 현재 많은 분야에서 이 기술을 접목하여 다양한 연구를 진행하고 있다. 그 중 하나인 건설 산업은 복잡한 설계와 시설물을 기반으로 모든 업무가 행해지는 특징으로 인해 증강현실 기술의 활용 가능성이 높은 분야로 주목받고 있다. 또한 증강현실 기술은 현재 많은 사람들이 사용하고 있는 스마트폰에 구현되어 쉽고 빠르게 이용할 수 있게 되었다. 이에 본 논문에서는 콘크리트 교량의 유지 및 관리를 위해 증강현실 기반의 모바일 어플리케이션을 제안한다. 내/외적인 정보들을 제공하는 증강현실 기반 교량 정보 시스템을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 구현한 교량 정보 어플리케이션은 스마트폰과 증강현실 기술을 이용하여 교량의 다양한 정보를 제공할 수 있다.
