A GQM Approach to Evaluation of the Quality of SmartThings Applications Using Static Analysis

  • SmartThings is one of the most popular open platforms for home automation IoT solutions that allows users to create their own applications called SmartApps for personal use or for public distribution. The nature of openness demands high standards on the quality of SmartApps, but there have been few studies that have evaluated this thoroughly yet. As part of software quality practice, code reviews are responsible for detecting violations of coding standards and ensuring that best practices are followed. The purpose of this research is to propose systematically designed quality metrics under the well-known Goal/Question/Metric methodology and to evaluate the quality of SmartApps through automatic code reviews using a static analysis. We first organize our static analysis rules by following the GQM methodology, and then we apply the rules to real-world SmartApps to analyze and evaluate them. A study of 105 officially published and 74 community-created real-world SmartApps found a high ratio of violations in both types of SmartApps, and of all violations, security violations were most common. Our static analysis tool can effectively inspect reliability, maintainability, and security violations. The results of the automatic code review indicate the common violations among SmartApps.

A Study on the Effect of Online Travel Distribution's Brand Community Characteristics on Product Purchase Intention

  • Purpose: This study attempted to confirm the mediating effect of brand experience and to travel brand community satisfaction in the relationship between the characteristics of brand community contents and travel product purchase intention. This study also investigated the moderating role of consumer characteristics. Research design, data and methodology: Based on a total of 381 bytes of data, hypothesis verification was conducted using Smart-PLS 3.2.8 statistical package programs. Results: First, the content community travel brand attributes, personal affordability and creativity are a lingering fragrances on the intended consumers ' shopping trip. Second, information provision, interaction, and creativity, which are the characteristics of travel brand community content, influenced consumers' intention to purchase travel products through brand community satisfaction. Third, playfulness, vitality, and creativity, which are the characteristics of travel brand community content, influenced consumers' intention to purchase travel products through double mediation of the experience and community satisfaction of brand. Conclusions: Tourism industry managers should be able to market content by forming their own brand community. It is necessary to create an environment in which tourism industry managers can use social media travel brand community content to give discounts to consumers, provide creative, playful and vivid travel information.

스마트폰 도입이 포털사이트 이용에 미친 영향: 스마트폰 이용자의 웹 트래픽 분석을 통한 탐색적 연구 (The Influence of the Introduction of Smart Phone on Using Portal Sites: An Exploratory Study by the Analysis on Smart Phone Users' Web Traffic)

  • 이 연구는 스마트폰 이용이 기존 미디어 환경에서 가장 영향력이 있었던 포털의 이용에 어떤 영향을 미치는가를 경험적으로 검증하고자 실시됐다. 이를 위해 스마트폰 이용자의 실제 이용 행동인 트래픽 데이터를 종단적으로 수집해 분석했다. 연구결과, 먼저 PC 웹에서 가장 많은 이용을 보이는 포털 유형은 스마트폰이 본격적으로 보급되고 일상화된 2년 사이에 이용시간의 약 15%, 페이지뷰의 약 35%가 줄어든 것으로 확인됐다. 포털 섹션별로는 커뮤니티, 뉴스미디어, 동영상, 모바일, 게임 섹션 등에서 이용이 줄어든 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로, 스마트폰을 통한 모바일 웹 이용에서 포털이 차지하는 비율은 PC 웹 이용보다 훨씬 높은 것으로 확인됐다. PC 웹 이용 트래픽의 3분의 1 이상이 포털에서 발생했지만, 스마트폰을 통한 모바일 웹 이용 트래픽에서는 3분의 2 이상이었다. 모바일 포털 섹션 중에서는 뉴스미디어 섹션의 이용이 가장 많았다. 한편, 스마트폰 도입 이후 전체적으로 포털 섹션 중 뉴스미디어, 커뮤니케이션, 생활 섹션 등은 이용이 크게 늘어난 반면에, 커뮤니티, 모바일, 게임 섹션 등은 이용이 크게 줄어든 것으로 확인됐다.

  • 최근 스마트 폰 보급 확대에 의해 위치기반 서비스(LBS)의 범위는 점점 더 확장되고 있고 서비스 또한 고속 이동 통신을 기반으로 매우 개인화되고 다양해지고 있다. 그 중에 위치기반 소셜 네트워크 서비스(LBSNS)는 스마트 폰 등장 이후에 가장 성장성이 기대되는 서비스이다. 본 논문은 스마트 폰의 위치에 기반하여 적응적으로 변화되는 커뮤니티를 형성하는 모델을 연구하고, 형성된 커뮤니티에 대한 적절한 관리와 형성된 커뮤니티 내의 멤버를 자동적으로 추가하거나 삭제할 수 있는 기능을 제공하는 LBSNS 서비스 모델을 제시한다. 또한, 향후 모바일 환경에서 위치기반 소셜 네트워크 서비스의 의미있는 연구방향을 기술한다.

Challenges in Green Innovation Policy after the Fukushima Nuclear Accident

  • This paper examines Japan's Science and Technology (S&T) Basic Plans in accordance with its S&T Basic Law. The Basic Plans promote two major innovation (Green Innovation and Life Innovation) towards the creation of new markets and jobs, specifically under the Fourth S&T Basic Plan enacted on August 2011. Successful smart community demonstration projects at four urban localities were launched under plans to promote Green Innovation research and development of renewable energy technologies. However, the expectation that renewable energy such as solar or wind power can replace nuclear power is not backed by sufficient evidence. Furthermore, the electricity produced by these sources is expensive and unstable owing to its reliance on weather conditions. The Fukushima nuclear power plant accident on March 2011 has also seriously affected Japan's future energy plans. According to a government estimate, electricity charges would double if nuclear power generation were abandoned, imposing a heavy burden on the Japanese economy. Japan is in need of energy policies designed on the basis of more far-sighted initiatives.

사물 인터넷 환경에 적합한 커뮤니티 질의 응답 시스템 개발 (Development of Community Question Answering System suitable for Internet of Things Environment)

  • 사물 인터넷(Internet of Things)의 확산으로 가까운 미래에는 사물 인터넷 환경에서 질의 응답 시스템이 활발하게 이용될 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 사물 인터넷 환경에 적합한 초소형, 저사양 하드웨어를 이용하여 커뮤니티 질의 응답 시스템(Community Question Answering System)을 구축하는 방안에 대해 살펴본다. 하드웨어는 700Mhz 싱글 코어 CPU와 512MB의 메인 메모리를 장착한 라즈베리 파이를 이용하였고, 질의 응답 시스템으로는 Apache Solr를 기본 시스템으로 활용하였다. 성능 분석 결과 실시간 응답성은 매우 훌륭하지만 정확도는 앞으로 보완이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

  • 항만수변도시 재생계획에 스마트 성장원칙을 적용하기 위해 도시계획요소와 성장원칙에 대한 연관성을 분석한 결과 적용 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 연관성 분석에서 도출된 스마트 성장원칙을 제주시 탑동 재생계획에 적용할 수 있는 디자인 가이드라인 요소는 ⯈ 걷기에 적합한 커뮤니티 조성, ⯈ 확실한 장소성을 가진 차별화되고 매력적인 커뮤니티 조성, ⯈ 오픈스페이스, 바닷가, 아름다운 자연경관, 환경적으로 중요한 지역보존, ⯈ 기존커뮤니티를 위한 개발 강화와 유도, ⯈ 교통수단선택의 다양성 제공 등이다. 이를 기반으로 제주항 재개발계획에는 ⯈ 복합적 토지 이용 ⯈ 고밀설계방식의 이점활용, ⯈ 다양한 주거기회와 선택권 제공 등을 실시 설계 시 적용할 것을 제안하였으며 통합적인 항만수변도시 재생계획 시 스마트 성장원칙을 적용할 필요성이 높은 것으로 조사되었다.

스마트폰 애플리케이션 불법복제에 대한 소비자의 도덕적 판단과 불법복제의도 -전북지역 대학생을 중심으로 한 사례분석 (Moral Judgment and Intention to Make Illegal Copies of Smart Phone Applications)

  • Although consumer ethical behavior related with illegal copies of digital software has been considered to be an important issue, not many studies have attempted to examine the issue. Firstly, this study attemped to explain the moral judgment and intention to make illegal copies of smart phone applications for college students. Secondly, psychological factors such as moral intensity and perceived risk related to making illegal copies were tested to be significantly different in individual characteristics such as experience of ethical education and past experience of making illegal copies of software, sex, age and household income. Thirdly, the effect of related factors such as psychological factors and individual characteristics was estimated to significantly influence moral judgment and intention to make illegal copies. Two step method(using LIMDEP program) was applied to estimate the model as a structural equation model. According to the results of this study, magnitude of consequences, financial risk and performance risk were found to be significantly different in income groups(less than middle class vs more than middle class). Prosecution risk was found to be significantly different in gender groups(female vs male). In addition, social consensus, financial risk, performance risk and prosecution risk were found to be significantly different in ethical education groups(experience vs no experience). Furthermore, moral judgment for making illegal copies of smart phone applications was found to be significantly influenced by income, ethical education, magnitude of consequences, temporal immediacy and social consensus. And intention to make illegal copies of smart phone applications was found to be significantly influenced by moral judgment, age, financial risk, performance risk and prosecution risk.

Subject to centrically In the context, this paper is study on the Sustainable development for community space about interactive space. and focusing is Response to human of interact in each other intelligent space. And this paper suggestion is composition method of community space in technology advanced, Interactive interface form for human, sustainable to community space direction elements. First, I'll rearrange the distinctive features of modern society through references of various scholars. This is to understand how interactivity affects the whole society and what is the importance of this interactive wave. Second, I'll analyze several trends of modern community space and figure the change of methodology of design based on the advancement of design technology. This is to understand the interactive relation of the subjects. Third, I'll seek how community space design has changed in modern society and under which process design is made. This is to clarify the fact that the portion of interaction will increase in future design according to the intervention of equipment, which is one of the objects of interaction space.

Customer Loyalty on Household Consumer Goods Distribution: A Survey among the Asian Parent Indonesia Community

  • Purpose: Mothers determines all household requirements and decides almost all their related things. The purpose of this study was to examine several independent variables on customer loyalty among mothers in The Asian Parents Indonesia community. The independent variables include advertising on Instagram, brand image, word-of-mouth, community cohesiveness, while the dependent variable is purchasing decisions. Research design, data, and methodology: This quantitative study uses a survey method for the Asian Parents Indonesia community members, listed on its website. The population of this community was recorded at 1,310, with a sample of 135 respondents. Data processing is done by using Structural Equation Model using Smart-PLS software. Results: Variables that significantly affect purchasing decisions and customer loyalty are word-of-mouth,summarized in a testimony, advertising on Instagram, and brand image. However, community cohesiveness does not affect customer loyalty to a brand. Conclusion: The results of this test propose significant implications for developing the relationship between baby toiletries producers and customers through word-of-mouth testimonials and advertisements on Instagram while community cohesiveness in maintaining customer loyalty using a brand is not influential, but interactions that occur within the community become a reference for mothers to choose a baby toiletries product.
