Smartphones which represent to the Mobile convergence, is the rapid spread, more than half of Korean are using. Accordingly, mobile apps that run on smartphone market is growing at a rapid pace. However, most studies on smartphone and mobile apps are focusing on the technology acceptance and improvement of function. So, this study is to suggest promotion strategy to each mobile apps, analyzed through three phases. First phase is the frequency analysis that deduct most frequently used mobile apps. Second phase is association rules that found to associate between mobile apps. Finally, to analyze deduction techniques for acquired 5 mobile apps to target variable in pre-2 phase use total 35 variables of 20 mobile apps categories, demographic variables, amount of PC, movie, music, book, game usage and fees per month.

The era of convergence is being applied to all areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The convergence of broadcasting service and communication service almost occurs on smart devices including smartphone. The smart hybrid Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) is a typical example of the convergence of broadcasting and wireless communication service. The hybrid mobile broadcasting service can support seamless video, 3D, high quality, and additional data services based on network connection between the broadcasting and wireless network. The gateway and terminal (including apps on the smartphone) take the role of the main components on the hybrid service. This paper presents the service concept, main components structure, the implementation of gateway and terminals, and field test to the urban areas for the mobile hybrid system.
Phishing is an attack to theft an user's identity by masquerading the user or the device. The number of phishing victims are sharply increased due to wide spread use of smart phones and messenger programs. Smart phones can operate various wi-fi based apps besides typical voice call and SMS functions. Generally, the messenger program such as Kakao Talk or Nate On is consisted of client and server functions. Thus, the authentication between the client and the server is essential to communicate securely. In this paper, we propose the messenger authentication protocol safe against smart phone phishing. To protect communications among clients, the proposed method provides message encryption and authentication functions.
As the smart phone market grows rapidly, the significance of the application (app) market also increases. The purposes of this study were to identify market segments according to technological innovativeness and clothing involvement, and to compare the differences in lifestyles, benefits of fashion information app sought, and intention to use. The data were collected from smart phone users in their 10s to 30s in 2013, and a total of 292 data sets were analyzed. The findings of this study were as follows. The respondents were divided into three groups, innovative group, clothing involvement group, and passive group. Significant differences were found among three segments in terms of age, marital status, education level, and monthly income. With respect to five lifestyle factors, innovative group and clothing involvement group had higher mean scores for rational purchase, personal relationship, and personality pursuit than passive group. However, these two groups showed differences in brand pursuit factor. The benefits of the fashion information app were generated into two factors, information benefit and enjoyment benefit. Innovative group and clothing involvement group had higher values than passive group in these two factors. Finally, innovative group had the highest value on the intention to use fashion information app. This study attempts to provide fundamental information about the potential market segment for managers or marketers developing fashion information apps.
Personalized smart devices such as smartphones and smart pads are widely used. Unlike traditional feature phones, theses smart devices allow users to choose a variety of functions, which support not only daily experiences but also business operations. Actually, there exist a huge number of applications accessible by smart device users in online and mobile application markets. Users can choose apps that fit their own tastes and needs, which is impossible for conventional phone users. With the increase in app demand, the tastes and needs of app users are becoming more diverse. To meet these requirements, numerous apps with diverse functions are being released on the market, which leads to fierce competition. Unlike offline markets, online markets have a limitation in that purchasing decisions should be made without experiencing the items. Therefore, online customers rely more on item-related information that can be seen on the item page in which online markets commonly provide details about each item. Customers can feel confident about the quality of an item through the online information and decide whether to purchase it. The same is true of online app markets. To win the sales competition against other apps that perform similar functions, app developers need to focus on writing app descriptions to attract the attention of customers. If we can measure the effect of app descriptions on sales without regard to the app's price and quality, app descriptions that facilitate the sale of apps can be identified. This study intends to provide such a quantitative result for app developers who want to promote the sales of their apps. For this purpose, we collected app details including the descriptions written in Korean from one of the largest app markets in Korea, and then extracted keywords from the descriptions. Next, the impact of the keywords on sales performance was measured through our econometric model. Through this analysis, we were able to analyze the impact of each keyword itself, apart from that of the design or quality. The keywords, comprised of the attribute and evaluation of each app, are extracted by a morpheme analyzer. Our model with the keywords as its input variables was established to analyze their impact on sales performance. A regression analysis was conducted for each category in which apps are included. This analysis was required because we found the keywords, which are emphasized in app descriptions, different category-by-category. The analysis conducted not only for free apps but also for paid apps showed which keywords have more impact on sales performance for each type of app. In the analysis of paid apps in the education category, keywords such as 'search+easy' and 'words+abundant' showed higher effectiveness. In the same category, free apps whose keywords emphasize the quality of apps showed higher sales performance. One interesting fact is that keywords describing not only the app but also the need for the app have asignificant impact. Language learning apps, regardless of whether they are sold free or paid, showed higher sales performance by including the keywords 'foreign language study+important'. This result shows that motivation for the purchase affected sales. While item reviews are widely researched in online markets, item descriptions are not very actively studied. In the case of the mobile app markets, newly introduced apps may not have many item reviews because of the low quantity sold. In such cases, item descriptions can be regarded more important when customers make a decision about purchasing items. This study is the first trial to quantitatively analyze the relationship between an item description and its impact on sales performance. The results show that our research framework successfully provides a list of the most effective sales key terms with the estimates of their effectiveness. Although this study is performed for a specified type of item (i.e., mobile apps), our model can be applied to almost all of the items traded in online markets.

Recently, because the arrival of the fourth industrial revolution era, many information and telecommunication services have grown rapidly in the mobile business market. So, companies are based Mobile Apps on user customized services and expanding their services. From the standpoint of the business, to generate revenue, the company needs to maintain the existing current computer environment and develop Mobile Apps to offer convenience in various areas such as finance, admiration, e-commerce and sales support. However, as the number of users increase due to expansion of various Mobile services, security threats that are related to Mobile Apps are increasing and its damage is also increasing. Due to the rapid technological transformation of Mobile devices using the Internet, the level of security threats to Smartphones are rising and getting more advance, so this thesis is structured as follows. In Chapter 2, it will look at the overall trends of Mobile Apps as related research. In Chapter 3, it will discuss various security concerns that related to the latest Mobile Apps and learn about the threatening factors. In Chapter 4, it will compare and analyze the threatening factors. Then it will find and suggest the possible plan. In Chapter 5, it will end with conclusion. Finally, to protect mobile devices from security threats, the environment of operating system which manages the resources and data of Apps needs to be protected. Also, it is important that users to have awareness and check activation FinTech technology security in the process of simple payment with fingerprint or IC card.
Purpose - Recently, the mobile application field has been receiving astronomical attention from the past few years due to the growing number of mobile app downloads and withal due to the revenues being engendered. Especially delivery apps by mobile service market is experiencing rapid growth and competition is intensifying. Therefore, delivery apps' choice attributes has become important as a strategy for survival of franchise firms. Based on previous studies, this research proposed the theoretical framework about the structural relationships among customer satisfaction, trust and revisit intention on delivery apps' choice attributes. Research design, data, and methodology - This study examines the structural relationship between choice attributes of using the delivery app, satisfaction, trust, and revisit intention. More specifically, this study has been examined from the perspective of Generation Y who is enjoying electronic commerce and shopping with mobile phone. In this model, choice attributes of delivery app consists of three sub-dimensions such as service quality, system quality, interaction quality. So as to test the purposes of this study, research model and hypotheses were developed. After excluding 24 invalid respondent questionnaires, 201 valid questionnaires were coded and analyzed using frequency, confirmatory factor analysis, correlations analysis, and structural equation modeling with SPSS 21 and SmartPLS 3.0. Result - The results of the study are as follows. First, service quality and interaction quality had positive effects on satisfaction, and interaction quality had positive effects on trust, but system quality did not have a significant effect on both satisfaction and trust. Second, satisfaction had positive effects on both trust and revisit intention. Third, trust had positive effects on revisit intention. Conclusions - The implications of this study are following as: From the theoretical perspective, this study confirms the effect of delivery apps' choice attributes on satisfaction, trust, and revisit intention. In addition, it is significant that we examined the influence of choice attributes of delivery apps on their attitudes and behaviors of Generation Y familiar with mobile environment. Through this study, we hypothesized that the attributes of service quality and interaction quality of delivery apps have a significant effect on customer satisfaction, and this can be expected to provide meaningful implications for the development of franchise restaurant industry. To encourage continuous repurchase through customer satisfaction, franchise companies need to establish various strategic alliances with delivery app companies and new growth engines by providing diverse and high-quality services to customers in the smart age.

Recently, use of Smartphones is growing at an extremely rapid pace. Many researchers have recognized the importance of developing Smartphones applications under these circumstances, and they have been conducted many studies to develop apps efficiently. The Smartphones middleware has become a focus of recent research to develop efficient Smartphones apps on a server-client environment in particular. In this study, for enhancing portability, expandability and convenience in the development of apps on the various platforms of Smartphones, We have proposed XML based Open API optimized in the Smartphones middleware. We also evaluated the performance, by applying it in Smartphone middleware environment.
When patients have acute cardiac arrest before they are hospitalized, the ratio of CPR done by the general public is directly related to patient survival ratio. However, compared with that of advanced nations, our nation has low patient survival ratio due to its low ratio of CPR done by the general public. To improve this situation, the current study conducted a pre-survey targeting 3,800 general public to find how to apply an emergent medical system using smart phone location-based service. According to its outcome, first, they have a high level of CPR experience while their recognition of CPR generality is low. Second, their self-confidence in doing CPR significantly differ according to their age, academic achievement and occupation yet with generally low self-confidence. Third, their participation in the emergent medical system using location-based service APPs is high, and has co-relation to their will for CPR, self-confidence in CPR and experience in CPR training.
Mobile shopping, through the use of the smart phone, has become a very popular shopping method for consumers due to it not being limited by time or place. This research aims do the following:1)find the causes for consumers shifting to mobile shopping with the focus on fashion and beauty items; and in order to so, this research will use the TAM that was found by David et al (1989), and 2) distinguish any behavioral differences between consumer groups divided into purchasing intention of fashion and beauty items through smart phone. Path analysis was performed to verify the cause-and-effect relationship between the variables. Personal characteristics(i.e. market maven, time orientation), perceived usability, ease of use, attitude towards mobile shopping, and purchase intentions were all treated as dependant variables. The results showed that attitude towards mobile shopping was the most important variable on mobile shopping intentions. Time-oriented and Market Maven were thought to affect mobile shopping attitude and the dependent variables of purchase intention. Also, when purchasing smart phones, consumers highly valued smart phone's popularity; people with higher purchasing intention mainly used entertainment and utility apps. The following are the main reasons for not purchasing through mobile shopping: they are slower than computers, inconveniences in viewing due to small size of the screen, and security issues. The consumers used the internet as their main source of acquiring daily information. In this research, factors that affect the purchase intention were studied. However, it is difficult to firmly insist that this research correctly predicts the actual purchase intention-further studies need to be done to investigate the relationship between mobile purchase intention and actual purchase intention.
