User Sensitive Data Classification for IoT Gateway Security (사물인터넷 게이트웨이 보안을 위한 사용자 민감 데이터 분류)

  • As IoT technology is widely used in industrial environments, its environmental security issues are becoming more important. In such a context, studies utilizing hardware security functions are being actively carried out. However, previous studies did not consider the performance degradation that occurs when using hardware security functions in IoT environment. Gateway devices that are mainly used in IoT environments are often resource-limited. Utilizing hardware security in such an environment can cause serious performance degradation as the number of IoT devices connected to the gateway increases. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a data classification scheme to efficiently utilize hardware security functions in resource limited environment. We implement a platform with the proposed technique using ARM Trustzone. Performance degradation due to the hardware security functions is measured through experiments on the implemented platform and compared with the performance as of when the proposed technique is applied.

  • Recently, research and development on immersive virtual reality(VR) technology to provide a realistic experience is being widely conducted. To provide realistic experience in immersive virtual reality for VR participants, virtual environments should consist of high-realistic environments using 3D reconstruction. In this paper, to acquire 3D information in real space using multiple cameras in the reconstruction process, we propose a novel method of optimal camera placement for accurate reconstruction to minimize distortion of 3D information. Through our approach in this paper, real 3D information can obtain with minimized errors during environment reconstruction, and it is possible to provide a more immersive experience with the created virtual environment.

  • The purpose of this research is creating the visualization platform of the user interface to make able to be provide the demanded service while users communication with surrounding space in a smart city environment. This comes from the latest enhanced interface technology and social media, and it uses the shares information to support the proper interface environment according to a life style and spatial properties. "EzCity" which is the user interface platform suggested in this research, can control the enormous amount of public data for the smart city. The core module of user platform is made up with Public data module, Interface module, Visualization module and Service module. The role of this platform is to be provide "Geo-Intelligent Interface Service" for space users to access the data in easier and more practical interface environment. This reinforces the visualization process for data collecting, systematization, visualization and providing service. Also this will be expected to be the base to solve the problem which complexity and rapidly increasing amount of data.

  • In this paper proposes an idea for using NFC(Near Field Communication) on smalt mobile devices, you can easily control the electric wheelchair system. In this system with previous researches controlled a power wheelchair in a mobile device using Bluetooth communication, the board communicates with the integrated control of the wheelchair. With smart mobile devices, the wheelchair control board integrating the signal generated by checking real time so that the user can easily monitor the state of the wheelchair. Users are using smalt mobile devices, the wheelchair can be controlled easily, and the setting at any time according to the state of the individual and can be used. HEX format control is directly in hardware, allowing analysis was read, the user settings are typically used to match cards which support NFC technology such as bus card for registration, storing the selected information and enable read and were applicable. By applying this system, wheelchairs oriented aids disabled and older people able to access to provide with stability.

  • The learners using learning content through the smart devices can access to the Internet from anytime and anywhere. However, with the rapid increase of learning content on the Web, it will be time-consuming for learners to find contents they really want to and need to study. Therefore, e-learning systems should not only provide flexible content delivery, but support adaptive harmonizing fusion content. The harmonizing fusion content it is a very important in fusion e-learning service. The representative method to provide synchronization between fusion content is a provide absolute time value between of the contents. However, this method is occurs a problem transferring time delay. Also, to enter an absolute time value for the duration of the each content is several problems arise. In this paper introduces a new smart e-smart service support the harmonizing media based technology to create synchronized learning presentation.

  • Recently, with the development of Smart City Solutions such as Big data, AI, IoT, Autonomous driving, and Digital twins around the world, the proliferation of various smart devices and social media, and the record of the deeds that people have left everywhere, the construction of Smart Cities using the "Big Data" environment in which so much information and data is produced that it is impossible to gauge the scale is actively underway. The Purpose of this study is to construct an objective and systematic analysis Model based on Big Data to improve the transportation convenience of citizens and formulate efficient policies in Urban Information and Public Transportation accessibility in sustainable Smart Cities following the 4th Industrial Revolution. It is also to derive the methodology of developing a Big Data-Based public transport accessibility and policy management Platform using a sustainable Urban Public DB and a Private DB. To this end, Detailed Living Areas made a division and the accessibility of basic living amenities of Gwangju Metropolitan City, and the Public Transportation system based on Big Data were analyzed. As a result, it was Proposed to construct a Big Data-based Urban Information and Public Transportation accessibility Platform, such as 1) Using Big Data for public transportation network evaluation, 2) Supporting Transportation means/service decision-making based on Big Data, 3) Providing urban traffic network monitoring services, and 4) Analyzing parking demand sources and providing improvement measures.

  • 본 논문은 기존의 헬스케어 서비스의 한계를 극복하기 위해 최근 대두되고 있는 스마트 헬스케어 서비스(smart healthcare service)에 관한 연구이다. 스마트 헬스케어는 스마트폰의 기능에 맞추어 기초체력 운동 지수, 섭취 칼로리, 심박 체크 등의 다양한 서비스를 제공할 수 있지만, 최근에는 보건의료서비스에 특화시켜 환자와 의사가 직 간접적으로 진료를 할 수 있게끔 하는 스마트폰 환경에서의 원격진료 서비스가 부각되고 있다. 그러나 헬스케어를 위한 HL7 CDA 표준의 문서 교환방식은 실시간 데이터 획득을 요구하는 원격진료 서비스 환경에 적합하지 못하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 HL7v2.x의 트리거 이벤트를 통한 메시지 전송방식과 HL7 CDA RIM(Reference Information Model)을 응용하는 실시간 HL7 의료정보 전송 방안을 제안한다.

Framework for efficient development of embedded software in open source hardware (오픈소스 하드웨어에서 효율적인 임베디드 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 프레임워크)

  • Various sensor devices has been developed as the wireless Internet and IoT technology are widely used. Recently, open source hardware has evolved for providing various services in IoT environments. However, in comparison to the development of the open source hardware, the development of human resources is missing. In order to solve such a phenomenon, in this paper, we propose a software framework for the embedded software development in open source hardware. The proposed framework provides a fast and intuitive development environment by using the visual programming language and providing fast feedbacks to developers. In addition, we discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the proposed scheme based on the implement on a real board.

  • Recently, domestic energy environment is facing new challenges owing to the depletion of fossil fuel such as oil. Renewable energy resources including solar and wind energy are attracting more interests than ever before. However, solar power system is costly in comparison with the conventional power generation systems and also the energy density is low. Furthermore, large area is required in order to install solar power system. Generally, performance of solar power system is affected by weather conditions and alignment of sun and the solar cell modules. In this study, a new type of sun tracking system for solar power system is proposed. To verify the feasibility of the proposed system, actual implementation of prototype system and experiments are carried out.

  • The Levenberg-Marquardt (LM) algorithm is the most widely used fitting algorithm. It outperforms simple gradient descent and other conjugate gradient methods in a wide variety of problems. Based on the work of paper[1], we propose a modified Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm for better performance of mobile system. The LM parameter at the $k_{th}$ iteration is chosen ${\mu}=A{\bullet}{\parallel}f(x){\parallel}{\bullet}I$ where f is the residual function, and J is the Jacobi of f. In this paper, we show this method is more efficient than traditional method under the situation that the system iteration is limited.
