행동-대상 모델에 따른 중소기업의 전자상거래 실태 조사 (An Exploratory Study on the Use of Electronic Commerce by Small and Medium Enterprise using the Action-Audience Model)

  • To facilitate a better understanding of the benefits, problems, and issues associated with the use of Internet and (World Wide) Web in business, we conducted an exploratory study on the use of Internet and Web by Small and Medium Enterprise(SME) using the Action-Audience Model. The Action-Audience model categorizes business use of the Web: to provide information (Informational Web), to carry out business transactions (Transactional Web), and to support business activities (Operational Web). The model also recognizes different audiences of the Web. The study shows that SMEs are in the early stage of Web use.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a conceptual understanding of ASP service for ERP implementation in small-to-medium enterprises under the current market situation in which the significance of information systems was standing out to respond to the rapid changes of managerial environment caused by the spread of Internet. In addition, it was to extract practical causes of introduction of ERP through ASP services by analyzing the causes and benefits considered by small-to-medium enterprises which use it. This study confirms that using ASP is better, faster and cheaper. Therefore, it is inevitable. The enterprises can reduce many risks of in-House ERP system such as excessive initial investment and operational expenses, lengthened constructional time, and the possibility of failure while achieving the benefit of ERP solution. However, there are many considerations which the enterprise carefully take into in order to implement the systems successfully such as selecting the system which is right for the enterprise's environment by setting the goal of implementing the system clearly, reducing the construction time by minimizing the customizing of the system, including the core people who knows the business process well, enough education before and after the implementation, and considering many aspect of ASP service provider. Also, the service provider should develop new way to provide customized service with cheap price while guaranteeing the reliability and supporting the customer's needs actively.

  • Many companies have integrated their internal processes with the aid of information technology. Now the focus is on interconnecting trading partners. Collaborative commerce (also known as c-Commerce) has a key role. It is not just about making it easier for business to communicate. It is about by breaking down barriers along the entire length of the supply chain. Some c-Commerce links are permanent, others get established when and where they are needed. c-Commerce is helping business in electronic supply chains to improve product delivery while cutting costs, to strengthen relationships and to reduce lead time. In this paper, we propose the concept of collaborative commerce, and design and implement Collaborative Commerce Portal (CCP) system of small and medium enterprise for marketing support. The technical definition of CCP is set of all technical elements can do collaborative commerce between small and medium enterprises with Internet or Internet. The target information of CCP includes usual and unusual information and all other information of companies used as process events. Through this, it enhances efficiency of business processes, core information sharing and marketing activation.

  • The need for total enterprise management that covers from accepting orders, design, cost, procurement, manufacture, and delivery has been recently raised in order for efficient project management of small and medium size plant construction enterprises. This trend is reflected in the introduction of EPM(Enterprise Project Management) solutions by some shipbuilding enterprises and large construction corporations. In step with the trend, small and medium size plant construction enterprises are enabled to provide knowledge base in terms of reducing cost and production period and managing portfolio for accepting orders and attaining contract by inducing customized EPM This study presents a design of customized EPM based on a case study of a company. It exhibits a collaborative/collaboration resource-supply model which can be universally applied to small and medium size job-order production enterprises. The research discusses that under the assumption that information is shared internally between departments on planning, supply, manufacture, and quality control in order to create collaborative environment and close participation is created externally between suppliers and orderers, productivity can be improved in cost reduction through planning efficient collaborative supply model.

  • 지난 20세기 우리나라는 단시간 내에 산업화를 이룩하여 세계 12위의 주요 경제국으로 올라섰으나, 압축 성장은 사회의 모든 부문에 심각한 불균형을 초래했으며, 특히 수도권과 경부선축 중심의 발전전략은 지역경제 간의 불균형발전, 수도권 과밀화로 인한 각종 사회 경제적 문제를 노정시키고 있다. 국민의 정부 이후 행정수도 이전, 공공기관 및 연구기관의 지방이전 정책 등을 추진하고, 지역특화산업의 도출을 통한 중소기업의 육성 및 장려, 지역 균형발전을 도모하고자 하나, 중앙정부와 지방자치단체, 각종 이해집단의 이견으로 통합적이고 조화로운 지역균형발전에 대한 해법을 제시하지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 정부의 지역 간, 산업체간 균형발전이라는 국정목표를 수행함에 있어 우리나라 지역산업 발전의 근간을 이루고 있는 중소기업의 자생적, 창의적 발전을 위한 지역균형발전 모형을 제시함으로써, 조화롭고 통합된 국가산업정책을 도모하고, 나아가 동북아 중심국가 실현의 기초를 제공하고자 한다. 그간 우리나라의 지역 중소기업정책은 수도권에 대한 입지규제와 지방에서의 하드 인프라스트럭처 구축을 중심으로 중앙정부의 하향식 정책 집행에 의해 추진되어 왔다. 정책의 유기적 연계성이 결여된 상태에서 부처별로 예산집행이 이루어짐으로써, 지역의 입지여건에 적합한 산업군집의 형성을 통한 지역경쟁력의 강화가 효율적으로 이루어지지 못한 것이 주지의 사실로, 본 연구는 지식기반경제 하에서의 지역 중소기업정책의 의미와 지역균형발전 모형의 구축 방안, 그리고 이에 근거한 지역의 중소기업발전 방안을 제시하였다.

  • 기업의 경쟁력 향상을 위한 ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) 시스템 구축은 비용과 시간의 소요량이 크므로 많은 중소기업에서 그 도입이 늦어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ERP 시스템의 도입으로 인해 얻을 수 있는 장점을 극대화하고 중소규모 기업에서 그 도입 시기를 앞당길 수 있는 대안으로써 ERP 어플리케이션 서비스에 대해 그 설계 및 구현 방법을 제시하였다. 이 방법은 대부분의 기존 연구에서처럼 어플리케이션 구현 방법 자체만을 제시하는 것이 아니라, 우리 나라 산업의 중추인 중소기업 환경에 적합한 시스템 설계 모델을 제시한다는 점에서 기존의 연구보다 그 실효성이 높다.

기업 정보 시스템 간 데이터 통합을 위한 미들웨어 개발 (The Development of a Data Integration Middleware for Enterprise Information Systems)

  • Recently, many enterprises are adopting EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) technologies for integrating heterogeneous enterprise information systems. Among EAI levels, data-level integration is relatively straightforward and most popular. However, most commercial solutions provide complex functionalities and are expensive for implementing the data integration tasks at the small & medium enterprises. Also, they have their own proprietary architectures and have a restricted interoperability. Proposed in this paper is the development of a data integration middleware for facilitating data exchanges between the heterogeneous information systems. The main feature of this middleware is a explicit mapping of meta data about the relationships between source and target data. Based on this explicit mapping, users who do not have expertise in information technology at the small & medium enterprises can easily execute data exchange tasks among various information systems.

중소기업의 정보화를 위한 CALS 도입 정책 방안 (CALS Implementation Policy for Information-based Management of Small and Medium Companies)

  • This study aims to suggest CALS implementation strategies and policies for information-based management of small and medium companies in Korea. At the turning point from traditional document-based management to recent digital-based one, it is well known that implementation of CALS concept is crucial for advancing business management of small and medium enterprises In order to attack the aim, this paper critically analyzes the empirical difficulties and obstacles of the current information-based management of small and medium companies in Korea. On the basis of the above analysis, this paper suggests the strategic plans and policies of CALS implementation for small and medium enterprises in Korea as follows. First, government should provide the supporting policies and proper system so that the large enterprise can be linked with small and medium companies for sharing necessary information. Second, similar enterprises should be integrated on the basis of information and automation evaluation. Third, implementation strategies and plans should be advanced on the basis of the informationalized phases with respect to the technology level of small and medium enterprises. For more efficient CALS implementation, this paper also proposes the following subsidiary policies. First, it is substantially important to publicize the nation-wide spreading of CALS mind. Second, it is strongly recommended to educate and train CALS specialist on a consistant basis. Third, government should support the enterprises by providing sufficient fund for CALS implementation. Fourth, the ideal CALS implementation models for small and medium enterprises should be developed. Fifth, the consulting and training program for CALS implementation should be established through ECRC (Electronic Commerce Resource Center).   • 제안제도 활성화는 과학적이고 종업원들에게 보상만이 아닌 내적 동기부여가 가능한 제안방법을 찾아야 한다. 제안 활동을 열심히 하는데 제안에 성공하지 못하는 회사나 비용절감에서 많은 효과를 보는데 정작 중요한 고객만족이나 시장 점유율은 커지지 않는다면 제안 방향을 돌아볼 필요가 있다. 경영자가 비용절감을 강력히 추진하면 종업원들은 정작 다른 방향의 제안을 하지 못한다. 따라서 전사적 제안활동에서 주체는 일선 실무자라야 하며, 소수의 스텝 주도는 큰 효과를 볼 수 없다. 좋은 제안은 모든 부서 간, 기능 간 협력이 필요하다. 필요한 정보를 공유하고, 관련된 종업원들의 노력과 협조가 이루어질 때 진정한 제안제도가 확립될 것이다.

  • 21 century, Korea enterprise which run business in global market, has rapidly change. So, achievement of international competitive power is very important. IT(Information Telecommunication) Technology is play a leading role in this field. In fact, Korea enormous invest in informational technology field and hold the first place in informational quotient(information super-highway, server computer, mobile networking and firm's web site etc). But, materialization of information management effect consider how to cope with the situation. Korea SMEs(Small and Medium Enterprises) is fundamental in Korea economy. So Korea SMEs must active the international competitive power by information management and advance to a higher position. In conclusion, SMEs of information management is require that SMEs' CEO and CIO are must self-help to in this field. And governments improvement of connected with the related system in these field.
