Coworking space is the ideal concept of small companies, freelancers, startups, and entrepreneurs operating out of a shared office space while working independently of one another. The coworkers share the core values of coworking: collaboration, openness, accessibility, sustainability, and community. Little academic research has been completed on the composition of coworking spaces and the businesses that use them. The purpose of this study is to examine the organization and characteristic of coworking space based on domestic and international cases for providing basic data on the coworking space plan. This study examined existing academic literature, media, online sources to assess the environmental background of worldwide coworking space, the current status, conceptualization, and membership plan that can be appled coworking spaces. The case study for coworking space is limited to the space where there is web site that is showed floor plan. Coworking spaces are designed to be environmentally friendly, offering common area with many facilities to encouraging community and collaboration. For creating ideal coworking space, the concept of coworking space must be recognized as a community space for interaction and creativity between people and space. Based on the result of this study, the appropriate zoning, circulation and specific floor plan of coworking space is needed for the next research.
Unlike the projects that the government has implemented recently to develop new cities under the New Deal project, Saeddeul Village projects to improve the environment of the city are gaining attention. The problem has been found to be that many of the buildings in Saeddeul Village are still not earthquake-proof by using drones to review the state of the town. It also revealed that after two years of earthquakes, Pilotis structures are the most vulnerable to earthquakes. However, it is suitable for small spaces in the city because it provides parking spaces as well as residential spaces. Accordingly, the focus should be on repair and reinforcement rather than reconstruction. In this study, a concrete-based seismic design and construction method is developed in the columns of the existing pylotis structure.
The purpose of this study is to analyze space composition and size of the Master Zone in the apartment unit plan. For this, we analyzed 435 samples by searching web-sites of the 5 main construction companies. The major results of this study are as follows. 1) Master Zone is organized 4 spaces such as main room, bathroom and make-up & dress room. Six types of Master Zone are classified with the composition of 4 spaces. 2) The size of the Master Zone is increased in proportion to the square meter. But the range of the ratio is small range of fluctuation as 20%${\sim}$30%. 3)The size and ratio of the each spaces of the Master Zone are analyzed. The size of bedroom is increased but the ratio is decreased. The size of bathroom is increased but the ratio is regular as 4%${\sim}$5%. The size of make-up and dressing room is generally increased but the range of the size and ratio is the most extensive. Through this analysis and research, this study would be provied the basic data for actual housing planning and to contribute to future trends of apartment houses.
Purpose: Prefabricated modular space such as a container construction has recently been interested unlike the conventional construction method, and their scale have expanded from small buildings such as cafes, houses and pensions to shopping centers, complex cultural spaces where shows and exhibitions are possible doing. In this way, the container is in the spotlight as an advantage such as mobility, flexibility, correspondence, economic efficiency, recyclability and so on. However, there are no specific guidelines and standard design methods in aspects of structural calculation, functional insulation and environmental configuration. Therefore, as the first step to resolve these problems, this study has focused on the field of environmental performance of container construction, presented appropriate guidelines and searched ways to improve performances. Method: For this study, seven types of the modular building were chosen and compared, and their energy performances have been analyzed using a proven simulation tool. Essential methodology and terminology were examined to estimate and judge their efficiency. Result: In conclusion, energy performances depend on specific configuration of combined unit spaces, and design guidelines cold be set up for promoting their use in the practical field.
The art museum plays a role as a cultural space that can solve the cultural desire of people and see a good art works. It is in exhibition space that they personally exchange the feeling between an art work and a viewer in art museum. The types and works - a fiber, a photo, an establishment that needs many places, devices, a video art, and an action art called "performance", cultural art - are shown in small art museum. Moreover, exhibition spaces are modified into the space of another art activities like dancing, music concerts in small art museum because it has no profit space for diverse art activities. And the exhibition the characters of the exhibition space in small art museum. So, it needs to change the characters of the exhibition space in small art museum. Under these background, this stud\ulcorner surveys and analyzes the exhibits, the organization methods, the modified conditions, and the scale of the existing exhibitional space in small art museum. Therefore, the goal of this study is to suggest the composition of the exhibition space unit considering the function and the multifunction in minimum art museum and small art museum.
To model a numerical problem space under the limitation of available data, we need to extract sparse but key points from the space and to efficiently approximate the space with them. This study proposes a sampling method based on the search process of genetic algorithm and a space modeling method based on least-squares approximation using the summation of Gaussian functions. We conducted simulations to evaluate them for several kinds of problem spaces: DeJong's, Schaffer's, and our original one. We then compared the performance between our sampling method and sampling at regular intervals and that between our modeling method and modeling using a polynomial. The results showed that the error between a problem space and its model was the smallest for the combination of our sampling and modeling methods for many problem spaces when the number of samples was considerably small.
The Plan for effective usage of living room must be suggested because families primarily use living room for public space. And from the viewpoint of function and decoration. the kind of furniture. furniture occupancy quantity. and the arrangement of furniture have much affect on using a dwelling space. So this study will suggest basic data for a good furniture usage through experiment using scale down models. To analyze the data. frequency and percentage were used by running SPSS $PC^+$ program. The major results are as follows. In an experiment using living room and furniture models(Scale 1/20). according to the size of space. TV sizes and furniture occupancy quantity were in proportion to size and space of the living room. Also they chose various types of tea-table and side-tables. In small spaces. subjects chose simple arrangement types (no sofa or I type sofa and cabinet). but in large spaces. they chose \ulcorner type or \ulcorner type sofa and cabinet.
This research is to analyze the characteristics of housing remodeling behaviors within detached houses that located at three small cities in the central part of Korea. The characteristics indicate similar aspects of maintenance and improvement behaviors in the occurrence time and space, while space alteration shows different aspects. In the frequency of occurrences, maintenance behaviors occurring in the point of building maintenance and preservation is performed most actively, the next is improvement behaviors, and space alteration behaviors is the lowest frequency. Type of remodeling behaviors shows the characteristics that maintenance behaviors are active in served spaces(bed room space, family living space) while alteration and improvement behaviors occur more in servant spaces.(household working space, outdoor space and sanitary space)
Let X, Y be vector spaces. It is shown that if an even mapping $f:X{\rightarrow}Y$ satisfies f(0) = 0, and $$2(_{2d-2}C_{d-1}-_{2d-2}C_d)f\({\sum_{j=1}^{2d}}x_j\)+{\sum_{{\iota}(j)=0,1,{{\small\sum}_{j=1}^{2d}}{\iota}(j)=d}}\;f\({\sum_{j=1}^{2d}}(-1)^{{\iota}(j)}x_j\)=2(_{2d-1}C_d+_{2d-2}C_{d-1}-_{2d-2}C_d){\sum_{j=1}^{2d}}f(x_j)$$ for all $x_1$, ${\cdots}$, $x_{2d}{\in}X$, then the even mapping $f:X{\rightarrow}Y$ is quadratic. Furthermore, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the above functional equation in Banach spaces.
For a locally compact Hausdorff space, we denote by $C_0(X)$ the Banach space of all continuous complex valued functions defined on X which vanish at infinity, equipped with the usual sup norm. In case X is compact, we write C(X) instead of $C_0(X)$. A well-known Banach-Stone theorem states that the existence of an isometry between the function spaces $C_0(X)$ and $C_0(Y)$ implies X and Y are homemorphic. D. Amir [1] and M. Cambern [2] independently generalized this theorem by proving that if $C_0(X)$ and $C_0(Y)$ are isomorphic under an isomorphism T satisfying $\left\$\mid$ T \right\$\mid$ \left\$\mid$ T^1 \right\$\mid$ < 2$, then X and Y must also be homeomorphic.
