건설근로자 안전보건교육 이수제도 도입방안에 관한 연구 (Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health Training Scheme for Construction Works)

  • Daily workers in construction sites rarely receive the benefit of systematic safety and health training as they are required to move from one construction site to another in response to the start, completion, and repetition of construction works. Also, small- to medium-sized construction sites often lack the capacity to train their workers. Therefore, as in the advanced countries, basic OSH training sheme for construction workers should be conducted in the industrial-level, rather than in individual workplace-level, to make the training more effective. By doing so, only workers with the basic safety training will be able to engage in construction works. Consequently, accidents in the construction industry will decrease, as workers themselves who are at the forefront of the construction worksites are empowered to play the central role in accident prevention activities.

중·소규모 제조업 사업장의 산업재해 실태 (The Actual State of Industrial Accidents in Small-medium Manufacturing Industries)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to assess reported industrial accidents and non-reported industrial accidents that took place in 63 small and medium sized manufacturing industries located in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do in the year of 2009. Methods: During the period from January to December 2009, the number of industrial accidents that happened each month was examined according to the characteristics of industry, industrial accidents, workers with industrial accidents, treatment, as well as causes and treatment of the non-reported. Results: The total incidence rate of industrial accidents was 3.48%, of which only 0.31% reported. The incidence rate in packing and distribution among manufacturing workplace, and in the industry with 50~99 employees, was higher than the other groups. Of the non-reported, over 80% in required under 10 days of medical treatment, and 56% in required cost of less than 100,000 won. Kappa values were 0.771 concurrence in opinions for causes of non-reported, and 0.571 concurrence in opinions for management termination of non-reported between the employees and employer. Conclusion: It is suggested that more supportive policy and precise, nationwide survey on the actual state of industrial accidents, including non-reported cases, be implemented to efficiently manage industrial accidents.

중소규모 사업장의 의약품 관리실태 및 의약분업에 대한 근로자의 인식도 (The Study on Medication Management in Small-to-Medium Sized Workplaces and the Level of Awareness about 'Separation of Prescribing and Dispending')

  • This study was to investigate medication management and the level of awareness about separation of prescribing and dispending at small-to-medium sized workplaces which have less than 300 employees in Korea. The data were collected by questionnaires from May to June in 2000. The number of subjects were 127 workplaces and 130 employees. The SAS PC Program was used for the descriptive statistics. The results are as follows; 1. The over the counter(OTC) drug was provided sufficiently(91.1 %). but medication management was not performed systematically. 2. On drug-providing rate and drug-using rate, the latter was high in the workplace and Health care management's nurses consume all of the over the counter drug provided. 3. When the separation of prescribing and dispending starts, employees shall be medically examined, treated and prescribed by physicians and drugs shall be dispended by pharmacists. It is necessary to make it possible to visit health care institutions whenever they want to. (eg. lunch time or after work) They should change their drug-dependent behaviour. We should focus on strengthening Health Promotion Program to prevent disease by making habitual of health promotion behaviour.

  • This paper was concerned about case study for preventing WMDSs(Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders) by using Thinking Process of TOC(Theory Of Constraints), Unfortunately, the number of WMDSs are rising steadily in auto-part manufacturer. These WMDSs have on worse and worse influence not only on the competition of enterprise but on the life quality of a worker. The research results are helpful to establish the preventing WMDSs and improvement of workplace environments for small-medium sized auto-part company.

HR Practices of IT-Based Companies in Korea

  • The research question in this study was to see whether there were similarities and differences in HR practices of IT-based companies in Korea. Interviews with 12 HR executives and a survey of 51 IT-based companies showed that there were IT industry-specific HR practices, but no group differences except one. The only one difference between two groups (small- and medium-sized firms versus multinational corporations) indicated that the latter was better positioned in various HR practices. Four HR themes emerged from analyses of interviews and a survey data: business environment, workforce management, HR practices, and HR for competitive advantage. The fact that none from large companies was found to have female HR executive calls for an in-depth study of what is occurring and what could be done to better the workplace in terms of diversity. A large-scale study using diverse methods in the future will produce more meaningful findings on HR practices in IT-based firms in Korea.

HACCP 선행요건 기준을 활용한 중·소 외식업체 종사자의 위생관리 중요도·수행도 분석 (Importance and Performance Analysis of Sanitation Management in Workers at Small and Medium Foodservice Industries Using HACCP Prerequisites)

  • 본 연구는 서울 경기지역에 소재한 외식업체의 종사자를 대상으로 2014년 5월~2014년 7월까지 설문조사를 시행하였다. 설문은 총 500부가 회수되었고, 이 가운데 통계분석이 가능하고 유효한 458부를 분석 자료로 이용하였으며, 외식업체 경영자와 종업원의 HACCP(Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) 선행요건에 대한 중요도와 수행도를 IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis) 기법을 이용하여 비교 분석함으로써 향후 소규모 외식업체 HACCP 적용을 위해 선행되어야 할 위생관리 항목 중 우선적으로 교육해야 할 항목에 대한 연구 자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 외식업체 종사자를 대상으로 HACCP 선행요건 15개 항목의 중요도와 수행도를 분석한 결과, 전체 항목 중 중요도에 비해 현장 수행도의 점수가 유의적으로 낮게 조사된 대표적인 항목은 '종업원의 손 위생 및 청결한 위생복장의 착용', '포획된 해충 설치류를 정기적으로 확인', '입고되는 원재료의 확인 및 검사', '식품안전사항 개선조치 후 결과 기록 유지', '모니터링 도구의 정기적 세척 소독'으로 나타났다. 이에 HACCP 선행요건 기준에 따라 위의 5개 항목은 중요도-수행도의 점수 차이가 매우 크게 나타났으므로 위의 5개 항목내용을 중심으로 현장 수행력을 높일 수 있는 교육내용으로 구성해야할 것으로 사료되었다. HACCP 선행요건에 대한 세부항목별 IPA 분석 결과, 수행도가 상대적으로 낮아 집중하여 개선해야 할 영역인 2사분면의 경우 소규모 업체는 '포획된 해충 설치류를 정기적으로 확인', '종업원의 손 위생 및 청결한 위생복장 착용', '음식물 교차오염 방지' 항목이 조사되었고, 중규모 업체는 '조리장의 해충 설치류 유입 차단', '식품안전사항 개선조치 후 결과 기록 유지' 등으로 나타났다. 2사분면 항목은 종사자들이 매우 중요하게 인식하고 있지만, 수행도가 낮아 외식업체 규모에 따른 적합한 개선이 필요할 것으로 사료되었다. 이상의 연구를 종합한 결과, 중 소규모 전체 외식업체를 대상으로 중요도는 높지만, 수행도가 상대적으로 낮아 집중하여 개선해야 할 위생관리항목은 '포획된 해충 설치류를 정기적으로 확인', '종업원의 손 위생 및 청결한 위생복장 착용', '음식물 교차오염 방지' 등으로 나타나 이 항목들을 중심으로 지속적인 모니터링과 개선활동을 전개할 필요가 있겠다. 또한, 소규모 업체를 대상으로 집중하여 개선해야 할 항목은 '포획된 해충 설치류를 정기적으로 확인', '종업원의 손 위생 및 청결한 위생복장착용', '음식물 교차오염 방지' 등이었고, 중규모 업체만 나타난 항목은 '조리장의 해충 설치류 유입 차단', '식품안전사항 개선조치 후 결과 기록 유지' 등으로 나타났다. 이에 이 항목들에 대하여 실제 성공적으로 관리되는 외식업체 실제 사례를 통한 위생교육이 강화될 필요가 있으며, 위생교육에 따른 중 소규모 외식업체 현장에서 가장 개선되어야 할 항목들에 대하여 보완된 위생관리점검표를 메뉴얼화하여 철저하게 관리 감독해야 하겠다.

경상남도 간호사의 직장선택, 직무수행의 어려움, 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (A Study on Factors Affecting the Workplace Selection, Job Performance Difficulties, and Turnover Intention of Nurses in Gyeongsangnam-do)

  • Purpose: This study aims to provide primary data for policy alternatives by identifying the problem of the nursing workforce shortage. Methods: For quantitative data, 446 questionnaires were analyzed. The mean and standard deviation were used for content description. ANOVA analysis and Scheffe? test were used to compare the differences according to the hospital level. For qualitative data, 1:1 in-depth and group interviews were conducted for six participants. Results: The factors nurses prioritized when choosing a workplace were salary, commuting distance, and work-life balance. Clinical nurses cited low wages, heavy workloads, and burnout as the most considerable difficulties in performing their duties. Factors influencing nurse's turnover intention were low wages, unmanageable workload, and rotation to unwanted departments in that order. New nurses tend not to apply to small-medium-sized hospitals, experienced nurses in their 30s-40s leave hospitals due to childcare and shift work difficulties, and nurses in their 50s and older tend to move to nursing homes rather than acute hospital settings. Conclusion: In this study, wage and workload were mentioned as the most critical factors in nurses' workplace selection, job performance difficulties, and turnover intention, so it is necessary to pay attention to this aspect when improving treatment for nurses.

심혈관질환 위험인자를 가진 중소규모 사업장 남성 근로자의 모바일헬스 앱 활용 건강파트너십 프로그램의 효과: 무작위 실험연구 (Effects of a Health Partnership Program Using Mobile Health Application for Male Workers with Cardiovascular Risk Factors in Small and Medium Enterprises: A Randomized Controlled Trial)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to apply a health partnership program using commercially available mobile health apps to improve cardiovascular risk factors in male employees and verify its effectiveness. Methods: Using a randomized control group pretest-posttest design, male employees with cardiovascular risk factors from five small and medium-sized workplaces were randomly assigned to an experimental group (n = 32) and a control group (n = 31). The experimental group was encouraged to use three mobile health apps for 12 weeks to acquire the necessary cardiovascular disease-related information and practice strengthening training, walking, and diet management appropriate to their level. They also received feedback on their weekly activities and motivational text messages from health partners. Hypotheses were tested using the SPSS WIN 22.0. Results: The experimental group showed a significant difference compared to the control group in terms of their perception of mobile health app (p < .05), self-efficacy for exercise and diet, self-management partnership, and cardiovascular disease prevention health behavior (p < .001). In particular, there were significant decreases in the body mass index, ratio, serum fasting blood sugar, total cholesterol, and triglyceride in the experimental group (p < .001); however, there was no significant difference in high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol. Conclusion: Intervention using mobile apps based on partnership with health managers is effective in improving the objective cardiovascular risk index in male employees; therefore, such intervention should be continuously used as a useful lifestyle modification strategy in the workplace.

중소기업 특성화고 인력양성사업과 취업맞춤반의 성과 목표에 대한 타당도 및 만족도 분석 연구 (An Analysis of Validity and Satisfaction for Objectives of Small and Medium Business(SMB) Administration Subsidy the Human Resource Development Program(HRDP) and the Customized Employment Program(CEP) in Specialized High Schools)

  • 이 연구에서는 중소기업 특성화고 인력양성사업과 취업맞춤반의 성과 목표에 대한 타당도와 만족도를 분석함으로써 중소기업 특성화고 인력양성사업과 취업맞춤반의 효과적인 운영을 위한 시사점을 제시하기 위하여 107개 중소기업 특성화고 인력양성사업 참여 학교(공업 농업 계열)의 담당 교원 총 166명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중소기업 특성화고 인력양성사업의 담당 교원은 본 사업의 목적을 특성화고의 취업 확대와 중소기업의 인력 제공으로 인식하고 있다. 그리고 본 사업이 학교 성과 향상에 중요하며 실제로도 성과 향상에 긍정적으로 영향을 미친다고 인식하고 있다. 둘째, 중소기업 특성화고 인력양성사업의 담당 교원은 중소기업에 대한 학생의 이해 증진, 중소기업에 대한 교원의 이해 증진, 특성화고에 대한 중소기업의 이해 증진, 학생의 직업관 함양, 취업 과정을 기반으로 한 진로지도 프로그램의 체계화, 산학협력 교육 강화, 학생의 기술수준 향상, 현장견학보다 현장체험 및 실습 위주의 현장학습 실시, 협약기업에 대한 맞춤형 기능인력 양성, 학생의 현장적응력 제고, 중소기업 취업률 제고, 중소기업 취업 기회 확대, 학교와 중소기업 간 취업 연계 기반 마련, 자기 조직(학교)의 외부에 대한 홍보, 산학협력 기회 확대, 산업 업종별 협회 및 단체와 학교 간 협력 체계 구축, 공동 교육 채용을 위한 취업 연계 모델 도입 및 운영, 교원의 현장 전문성 강화가 본 사업의 성과 목표로 타당하다고 인식하고 있다. 그러나 산학협력 교육 강화, 중소기업 취업률 제고를 제외한 나머지 성과 목표의 달성 정도에 대한 만족도는 타당도에 비해 상대적으로 낮다. 셋째, 중소기업 특성화고 인력양성사업의 담당 교원은 학생의 취업 기회 확대, 양질의 취업처 발굴, 산학협력 기회 확대, 현장 중심 교육 실시, 학생의 전공 기초 및 심화 기술 향상, 학생의 직무 수행에 필요한 문해 수리 팀워크 커뮤니케이션 능력 향상, 학생의 업무 태도 향상, 학생의 바람직한 진로 탐색 결정이 취업맞춤반의 성과 목표로 타당하다고 인식하고 있다. 그러나 성과 목표의 달성 정도에 대한 만족도는 타당도에 비해 상대적으로 낮다.
