Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine changes in the self-rated health of adolescents and to identify its predictors using longitudinal data from the KCYPS. Methods: A sample of 2,351 adolescents who were in the first grade of middle school in 2010 was analyzed. The study employed latent growth analysis using data from 2010 to 2016. Results: Results indicated that self-rated health of adolescents increased, following the form of a linear function. The analyses revealed that adolescent self-perception of health were conceptualized not only by their health-related behaviors, but also by personal, socioeconomic and psychological factors. Specifically, physical activity, passive leisure time activities, gender (initial: b=-.060, slope: b=.030), place of residence (initial: b=-.079), self-rated economic condition (b=.098), working status of mother (b=.016), monthly family income (b=-.001), aggression (b=.061), depression (initial: b=-.104, slope: b=.012), stress (initial: b=-.172, slope: b=.014, ego-resiliency (initial: b=.197, slope: b=-.021), and self-esteem (initial: b=.106, slope: b=-.017) had significant effects on the overall linear change of self-rated health (p<.05 for all estimators above). Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that adolescents' self evaluation of their health is shaped by their total sense of functioning, which includes individual, health-related behavioral, socioeconomic, and psychological factors.
Purpose: The purpose of this setback genioplasty study is to develop a prediction method for the calculated osteotomy angle using horizontal and vertical changes as well as to evaluate the proportion of hard and soft tissue changes. Methods: Twelve patients who had received setback genioplasty with other maxillofacial surgery were examined. Three lateral cephalograms were taken just before surgery, immediately after surgery, and 3 months later surgery. A reference line was established to the reference point of the inner most point of the lingual symphysis cortex, incisor tip, and 2nd molar cusp tip. Measuring was conducted from pogonion (Pg), menton (Me), labrale inferius (Li), Mentolabial fold, soft tissue pogonion (Pg'), and soft tissue menton (Me') to the reference lines. Results: In setback genioplasty, the skeletal Pg moved posteriorly 5.07 mm. The ratios of soft tissue to hard tissue movement were 36% posteriorly and 62% inferiorly at Pg', 67% posteriorly and 104% inferiorly at Me', and 34% anteriorly and 164% posteriorly at Li. In reduction & setback genioplasty, skeletal Pg moved posteriorly 4.63 mm and skeletal Me moved superiorly 3.63 mm. The ratios of soft tissue to hard tissue movement were 76% posteriorly and 18% superiorly at Pg', 68% posteriorly and 42% superiorly at Me', and 44% anteriorly, 124% posteriorly at Li. The calculated mean slope angle, based on ${\Delta}H/{\Delta}V$ ratio, was 61.25 and the measured mean slope angle was 60.17. Thus, the calculated and measured slope angles have a similarity. Conclusion: In setback genioplasty, soft tissue moves posteriorly and inferiorly. In particular, at the Me' and Pg', the inferior movement of the soft tissue is greater than the posterior movement. Also, the predictable results (measured slope angle) after operation can be achieved by the calculated slope angle. Thus, the relationship of soft and hard tissue changes must be considered as the results are predictable.

Infiltration and the rising level of groundwater caused by rainfall are a major cause of the landslide and sliding. In order to secure the safety factor of slope, the slope stabilization and reinforcement works are used to enhance consistency. Nailing, Slope Drainage method and the surface vegetation measures can be simultaneously applied in the Mass Nail method, which is also environmental friendly reinforcement method. To demonstrate the reinforcement effect of a strengthened slope by Mass Nail, the changes in water contents by rainfall were considered while performing Scale Model Test. As a result, safety factor of reinforced slope was about 1.4~2.3 times increased on the unstrength slope. In the case of increasing water content 10% to 22%, The maximum stress was reduced to 12%~24% at the average rate of 18% on the unstrength slope and the reinforced slope by the Mass Nail Method was reduced to 4%~23% at the average rate of 14%.

Although the height of a ramp is an important design element, it has not been considered in prior studies. Therefore, in this study, the ramp slope and height are considered as independent variables. To analyze the effects of the slope and height, five levels of slope (1:6, 1:8, 1:10, 1:12 and 1:14) and three levels of height (15cm, 30cm and 45cm) are considered. For the dependent variables, the total time, velocity and perceived discomfort were considered as usability measures, pulse rate changes and EMG signals of four related muscles (extensor carpi radialis, triceps brachii, anterior deltoid and posterior deltoid) were considered as physiology measures. As a result, differences among usability and physiological characteristic for the five slopes increased as the height increased. Additionally, slope effects were minor when the height was low (15cm). Almost domestic/international regulations and guidelines related to ramp recommended 1:12 slope for the ramp design, however, there was no significant difference between 1:10 and 1:12 according to result of this study. In addition, slope effects were minor at a low height; thus, a slope of 1:8 can be recommended if the installation space for a gentler ramp is not sufficient.
Purpose: This study conducted a slope stability study considering changes in the ground water level due to rain phenomena and the duration of rainfall, that is for the purpose of analyzing the stability of the slope surface of the cut section, seepage numerical analysis is performed by height of slope and rainfall accident, and the characteristics of rainfall was applied reasonably in order to determine the slope change during rain by analyzing rainfall and rainfall pattern due to climate change. Results: As a result of numerical analysis of stability for slope composed of the granite weathered soils according to the characteristics of rainfall(Uniform Rainfall, US Army Corps., Huff's method - 1/4, 4/4), Conclusion: The higher the slope, the smaller the safety factor of the slope, the smaller the elevation of the ground water level as the rainwater seepage does not reach the underground water level. In addition, the ground water level was assessed to be rose significantly in condition of case 3 Huff's method - 1/4, rain pattern with the largest initial rainfall duration, and the safety factor was analyzed to be small.
Purpose: Pelvis tilting in sagittal plane influences the acetabular cup position. Majority of total hip arthroplasty (THA) are performed in lateral decubitus surgical position. This study is to assess whether there is any difference in sacral slope between standing and lateral decubitus position and influence of this variation in planning acetabular cup anteversion. Materials and Methods: This is a prospective study including 50 patients operated between January 2020 to March 2022. Preoperative radiograph included lumbosacral spine lateral X-ray in standing, supine and lateral decubitus positions to calculate the sacral slope for assessment of anterior or posterior pelvic tilting. In our study, we determined the position of the acetabular cup based on changes in sacral slope between standing and lateral decubitus postures. For patients whose sacral slope increased from lateral decubitus to standing, we implanted the acetabular component with a higher degree of anteversion. Conversely, for patients with reverse phenomenon, the cup was inserted at lower anteversion. Results: Twenty-four patients (48.0%) had increase in sacral slope from lateral decubitus to standing whereas 26 patients (52.0%) had decrease in sacral slope. There was linear correlation between difference in preoperative sacral slope and postoperative cross table lateral cup anteversion. Harris hip scores improved from 40.78 to 85.43. There was no subluxation or dislocation in any patient at minimum 2-year follow-up. Conclusion: Individualized acetabular cup placement is important for better functional outcome in THA. Evaluation of pelvic tilting in lateral decubitus position is necessary for better positioning of acetabular cup and avoid postoperative complications.

Interrill erosion dominates in forest areas, and the erosion rate in surface-disturbed areas is significantly increased by the development and expansion of rill. In this study, soil erosion experiments using simulated rainfall and inflow were performed to understand the development and the micromorphological changes of rill on steep slopes. The characteristic factors of the micromorphology, such as the rill cross section, rill volume, rill density, rill order, and rill sharpness, were analyzed according to steepness and location (upper or lower) of slope. The head-cut of the simultaneous incised rills by rainfall simulation moved rapidly upslope, and the randomly developed rills expanded deeply and widely with their connection. The rill cross section evolved to downslope gradually increased. The rill volume occupied about 78 % of the sediment volume, confirming that the contribution of the sediment from the rill erosion is greater than that of the interrill erosion. Although the rate of increase in rill order slowed as the slope increased, the total length and density of the rill generally increased. As the slope increased from 15° to 20°, the bed incision of rills became larger than the sidewall expansion, and the rill sharpness increased by 1.6 times. The runoff coefficient on the lower slope decreased by 12.3 % than that on the upper slope. It was evaluated that the subsoil exposures and formation changes by the rill expansion increased the infiltration rate. Although the sediment accompanying the rills generally increased with slope increase, it was directly influenced by the hydraulic velocity of enhanced rill with the local convergence and expansion in the process of the rill evolution.
Landslide, one of the serious natural disasters, has Incurred a large loss of human and material resources. Recently, many forecasting or alarm systems based on various kinds of measuring equipment have been developed to reduce the damage of landslide. However, only a few of these equipments are guaranteed to evaluate the safety of whole side of land slope with their accessibility to the slope. In this study, we performed some experiments to evaluate the applicability of a terrestrial LiDAR as a surveying tool to measure the displacement of a land slope surface far a slope collapsing protection system. In the experiments, we had applied a slope stability method to a land slope and then forced to this slope with a load increasing step by step. In each step, we measured the slope surface with both a total station and a terrestrial LiDAR simultaneously. As the result of Slope Fracturing analysis using all targets, the LiDAR system showed that three was 1cm RMSE on X-axis, irregularity errors on Y-axis and few errors on Z-axis compare with Total Station. As the result of Slope Fracturing analysis using continuous targets, the pattern of Slope Fracturing was different according to the location of continuous targets and we could detect a continuous change which couldn't be found using Total station. The accuracy of the LiDAR data was evaluated to be comparable to that of the total station data. We found that a LiDAR system was appropriate to measuring the behaviour of land slope. The LiDAR data can cover the whole surface of the land slope, whereas the total station data are available on a small number of targets. Moreover, we extracted more detail information about the behavior of land slope such as the volume and profile changes using the LiDAR data.

The object of this study is to develope an improved version of brassiere with better fit and improved performance by conducting a try-on test on 6 types of revised brassieres (constructed on above basis). The study procedures consisted of a try-on test of experimentally constructed brassieres and a sensory test on fit. The results of experimentally constructed brassiere trial are as follows. 1. The sizes showing performance effects due to different types of experimentally construct- ed brassieres were bust length, bust height, under bust curve length, vertical and horizontal bust diamenter, upper-lower bust slope angle (direct measurement, parallel standard, upper torso tilt rate), side bust slope angle and top bust slope angle. 2. Concerning the changes in lower cup interior, elastic materials and wider portions perfor-med better in bust up effect. 3. No effects due to different shoulder strap positions were observed, but combined with lower cup interior changes the side types proved more effective than the standard types.

Objective : Laminoplasty is an effective surgical method for treating cervical degenerative disease. However, postoperative complications such as kyphosis, restriction of neck motion, and instability are often reported. Despite sufficient preoperative lordosis, this procedure often aggravates the lordotic curve of the cervical spine and straightens cervical alignment. Hence, it is important to examine preoperative risk factors associated with postoperative kyphotic alignment changes. Our study aimed to investigate preoperative radiologic parameters associated with kyphotic deformity post laminoplasty. Methods : We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 49 patients who underwent open door laminoplasty for cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) or ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL) at Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital between January 2011 and December 2015. Inclusion criteria were as follows : 1) preoperative diagnosis of OPLL or CSM, 2) no previous history of cervical spinal surgery, cervical trauma, tumor, or infection, 3) minimum of one-year follow-up post laminoplasty with proper radiologic examinations performed in outpatient clinics, and 4) cases showing C7 and T1 vertebral body in the preoperative cervical sagittal plane. The radiologic parameters examined included C2-C7 Cobb angles, T1 slope, C2-C7 sagittal vertical axis (SVA), range of motion (ROM) from C2-C7, segmental instability, and T2 signal change observed on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Clinical factors examined included preoperative modified Japanese Orthopedic Association scores, disease classification, duration of symptoms, and the range of operation levels. Results : Mean preoperative sagittal alignment was $13.01^{\circ}$ lordotic; $6.94^{\circ}$ lordotic postoperatively. Percentage of postoperative kyphosis was 80%. Patients were subdivided into two groups according to postoperative Cobb angle change; a control group (n=22) and kyphotic group (n=27). The kyphotic group consisted of patients with more than $5^{\circ}$ kyphotic angle change postoperatively. There were no differences in age, sex, C2-C7 Cobb angle, T1 slope, C2-C7 SVA, ROM from C2-C7, segmental instability, or T2 signal change. Multiple regression analysis revealed T1 slope had a strong relationship with postoperative cervical kyphosis. Likewise, correlation analysis revealed there was a statistical significance between T1 slope and postoperative Cobb angle change (p=0.035), and that there was a statistically significant relationship between T1 slope and C2-C7 SVA (p=0.001). Patients with higher preoperative T1 slope demonstrated loss of lordotic curvature postoperatively. Conclusion : Laminoplasty has a high probability of aggravating sagittal balance of the cervical spine. T1 slope is a good predictor of postoperative kyphotic changes of the cervical spine. Similarly, T1 slope is strongly correlated with C2-C7 SVA.
