경관영향평가 항목선정을 위한 타당성 평가 (Estimation of Validity for Item Selecting of Landscape Impact Assessment)

  • This research is significant in terms of estimating the validity by setting evaluation items in view of integrating not only original beauty and visual areas but also natural ecological areas based on questionnaire. The results are as follows. 1) According to literature study, 17 items such as variety, the character of sites in terms of landscape, the beauty of landscape, visibility, and ratio of green visibility are selected. Also, 21 items such as variety of animals and plants species, size of green area, and ecological naturalness are selected in the area of landscape ecological resources. 2) As a result of questionnaire of the group of landscape experts, animals and plants ecological areas show 5.6341, the highest in importance analysis according to assessment areas. Also, as a result of importance analysis on items in each area, for example, in the area of visual resources, the item of skyline analysis is 6.0488, the highest. 3) As a result of corelation of item meaning on landscape effect assesment, for example, meaningness of psychological assessment item and landscape site item indicate 0.710, the highest coefficient correlation. 4) As critical assessment items per unit project, items such as damage minimization of original land features for project in terms of point, ratio of green visibility, variety of animals and plants species marked above 8.0 as high important medium. The project in terms of line, minimization of original land features, preservation of worthy biotope showed high point and the character of sites in terms of landscape, minimization of original land features, the size of green area, and analysis of skyline marked above 8.5 as high importance points. On the contrary, items for climate and soil showed relatively low points.

  • 4단계 스카이라인 영역 결정 기법[2]은 영역 결정 시간이 객체의 개수에 비례해서 현저히 증가하기 때문에 다수의 객체를 포함하는 도메인들에 적용하기 어렵다. 이러한 문제점은 스카이라인 영역이 지배 객체 집합의 부분 집합으로 이루어지는 특성을 고려하지 않았기 때문에 발생한다. 이 논문에서는 스카이라인 영역 결정에 불필요한 객체들을 제거할 수 있는 거리 기반 가지치기 기법과 영역 결정 선분의 범위 축소 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법들을 R*-트리와 INN(Incremental Nearest Neighbor) 알고리즘에 적용함으로써 점진적으로 스카이라인 영역을 결정할 수 있으며 영역 결정 시간을 현저하게 감소시킬 수 있다. 제안한 기법의 성능 향상을 증명하기 위해 4단계 영역 결정 기법과의 비교 실험을 수행한다.

A Coupled Finite Element Analysis of Independently Modeled Substructures by Penalty Frame Method

  • A penalty frame method is proposed for the coupled analysis of finite elements with independently modeled substructures. Although previously reported hybrid interface method by Aminpour et al (IJNME, Vol 38, 1995) is accurate and reliable, it requires non-conventional special solution algorithm such as multifrontal solver. In present study, an alternative method has been developed using penalty frame constraints, which results in positive symmetric global stiffness matrices. Thus the conventional skyline solver or band solver can be utilized in the solution routine, which makes the present method applicable in the environment of conventional finite element commercial software. Numerical examples show applicability of the present method.

Assessing Middle-income Residents' Attitudes about Their Urban High-rise Condominium in Contemporary American Society

  • Most research on high-rise housing has focused on low-income residences, and usually the psychological and social well-being of women and children. The validity of such findings are questionable for other populations since high-rise living has served other groups and their various needs in particular settings. Lack of knowledge and understanding about high-rises has represented an obstacle to the accurate representation of American urban reality in residential environments. The review of literature and factor analysis identified Important environmental factors. The survey was conducted in the selected downtown high-rise communities of major U.S. cities. Analyses revealed that there were unique characteristics of residents who prefer to live in this type of housing. It was also found that living in middle-income urban high-rise condominiums does not contribute significantly to the problems associated with high-rise living itself. Even though there were some deficiencies of social interaction and activities among residents, the middle-income condominiums were serving particular residents as maintenance-free and safe place imprinted by a positive image of sweet memories or sometimes by a window view presiding over downtown skyline.

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일 P2P 네트워크에서 스카이라인 질의 처리를 위한 새로운 필터링 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법에서는 질의처리 이전에 스카이라인 처리를 통해 필터링 객체 셋을 생성하기 위해 피어 간 데이터 배포를 수행한다. 생성된 필터링 객체를 활용하여 질의에 참여하는 객체 중 불필요한 객체를 필터링한다. 사전 스카이라인 처리를 통해 효율적인 질의처리를 수행할 수 있다.

중국.일본과 우리나라의 추녀설치방식의 비교 연구 (Comparing the Installing Angle Rafter of China.Japan and Korea)

  • As wooden construction developed, it was observed that the rafters with corners changed to angled rafters. The change from rafters to angle rafters means that the angle rafters became the most important member in supporting the roof weight as the construction scale increased and structurally developed. The specific installation methods of angle rafters were all unique in Korea, China, and Japan. In East Asia, the angle of the angle rafter gradually decreased along with the development of construction. However, in Joseon Dynasty Korea, the angle of the angle rafter was larger than that of the Gorye era because the method of fixing the corner of the roof more firmly by building the fan-shaped rafter was utilized. The changes to the angle rafter installation method is a unique characteristic of Korea, in that it was developed in a totally different way from the methods used in China and Japan.

  • 최근 스마트폰, 태블릿 PC 등 다양한 모바일 기기들의 처리 능력이 향상됨에 따라 모바일 P2P 환경에서의 질의 처리 성능이 향상되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 P2P 네트워크에서 에너지 효율적인 유사성 스카이라인 질의 처리 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 질의 배포 범위를 확장 및 제한함으로써 결과로 제공될 수 있는 잠재적 객체를 얻음과 동시에 전체 네트워크로의 불필요한 배포를 방지한다. 또한 각 피어들은 질의를 받았을 때 자신이 보유하고 있는 객체를 이용하여 로컬 유사성 스카이라인을 처리하고, 질의를 요청한 피어(질의 피어)에게 처리된 결과를 병합하여 전송한다.

  • 최근 각종 실험 장비의 발전에 따라 유사 서브 그래프 매칭에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 하지만 유사 서브 그래프 매칭은 다수의 최종 결과들이 반환되었을 경우, 사용자는 어떤 결과가 자신에게 가장 유의미한 결과인지를 판별하기 힘든 문제점이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 대용량 그래프 환경에서 스카이라인을 이용한 서브 그래프 유사도 측정 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 스카이라인 기법과 피드백에 기반한 랭킹을 수행하여 유사 서브 그래프 매칭에서 사용자에게 유의미한 결과를 반환한다.
