The electronystagmography(ENG) means to measure and record CRP(Corneal-Retinal Potential) whenever the eyeball is moved by using a skin electrode stuck to the hi-temporal and the difference of CRP. Both the horizontal and vertical movement are known according to the position of the stuck skin electrode. In this paper, the variable time-constances to record the eyeball signal of the conventional EOG(Electro-Oculograph) Amplifier is chosen. The shorter the time-constance is, the worse the distortion of a signal is. But the unbalanced impedance of the electrode stuck on the hi-temporal is reduced. Also, the longer the time-constance is, the less the distortion of it signal is. But it is sensitive to the change of base line according to the unbalanced impedance. In order to solve these problems, an DC-Amplifier, the distortion of the eyeball signal is globally used. By solving unbalanced impedance problem of EOG amplifier, the distortion ratio of EOG amplifier is improved.

In modern society, automobile is necessary vehicle. Automobile is a series of modern convenient. And the number of automobile is on the increase. But from you to year, automobile accident is on the increase, also. One of most reason that cause automobile accident is drowsiness driving. So, we plan to construct automobile system for drowsiness accident prevention for decreasing automobile accident. In this research, we built a drowsiness detecting device using EDA (Electro Dermal Activity) signal which is electric response in the human body skin. There are SIL (Skin Impedance Level) and SIR (Skin Impedance Response) in EDA. Mostly, SIL consists of DC element. On the other hand, SIL consists of AC element. We could detect the drowsiness condition with SIL and SIR signal.

MI(Magneto-Impedance) sensor which is made by thin films has significantly high detecting sensitivity in weak magnetic field. It also has a merit to be able to build in the low power system. Its structure is simple, which makes it easier to prepare a miniature. In this study, its magnetic permeability and anisotropy field$(H_k)$ as a function of a thickness of sputtered amorphous CoZrNb films with zero-magnetostriction and excellent soft magnetic property are investigated. In order to make a uniaxial anisotropy, film was subjected to the post annealing in a static magnetic field with 1KOe intensity at 250, 300, and $320^{\circ}C}$ respectively for 2 hours. Anisotropy field$(H_k)$ of film is measured by using a MH loop tracer. Its magnetic permeability of a film is measured over the frequency range from 1 MHz to 750MHz. It has shown that the magnetic permeability of amorphous CoZrNb film is decreased due to the skin effect with increasing a thickness of the CoZrNb film, and hence its driving frequency is lowered. And, it was examined on the permeability and impedance to fabricate the MI sensor which acts at a low frequency by thickening a CoZrNb film relatively.

Electrode contact resistance is a crucial factor in physiological measurements and can be an accuracy limiting factor to perform electrical impedance measurements. The electrical bio-impedance values can be calculated by the conductivity and permittivity of underlying tissue using implant electrode in human skin. In this study we focus on detecting physiological changes in the human skin layers such as the sebum layer, stratum corneum layer, epidermis layer, dermis layer, subcutaneous fat and muscle. The aim of this paper is to obtain optimal design for implantable electrode at subcutaneous fat layer through the simulation by finite element methods(FEM). This is achieved by evaluating FEM simulations geometrically for different electrodes in length(50 mm, 70 mm), in shape(rectangle, round square, sexangle column), in material(gold) and in depth(22.325 mm) based on the information coming from the subcutaneous fat layer. In bio-impedance measurement experiments, according to electrode shapes and applied voltage, we have ascertained that there was the highest difference of bio-impedance in subcutaneous fat layer. The methodology of simulation can be extended to account for different electrode designs as well as more physical phenomena that are relevant to electrical impedance measurements of skin and their interpretation.

This paper describes the possibility of analyzing gait pattern from the changes of the lower leg electrical impedance. This impedance was measured by the four-electrode method. Two current electrodes were applied to the thigh, knee, and foot., and two potential electrodes were applied to the lateral, medial, and posterior position of human leg. The correlation coefficients of the joint angle and the impedance change from human leg movement was obtained using a electrogoniometer and 4ch impedance measurement system developed in this study. We found the optimal electrode position for knee and ankle joint movements based on high correlation coefficient, least interference, and maximum magnitude of impedance change. The correlation coefficients of the ankle, knee, and the hip movements were -0.913, 0.984 and 0.823, respectively. From such features of the human leg impedance, it has been made clear that different movement patterns exhibit different impedance patterns and impedance level. This system showed feasibility that lower leg movement could be easily measured by impedance measurement system with a few skin-electrodes.
In this study, we measured the bioelectrical impedance of whole body in various frequency bands by non-invasive method by four electrode method using a portable small impedance measurement system developed to understand the bioimpedance characteristics of intracellular fluid and extracellular fluid components through a skin equivalent model. The measurements were performed on 10 male subjects (mean age $24{\pm}3.0$, body mass index(BMI) $20.3kg/m^2$) for four weeks and the bioimpedances were measured at multi-frequencies (1 kHz, 5 kHz, 50 kHz, 70 kHz, 100 kHz and 500 kHz). Experimental results show that the impedance is the highest in the low frequency range of 1 kHz and the lowest in the high frequency range of 500 MHz. Especially, it was confirmed through experiments that the impedance is rapidly lowered above 50 kHz band. In addition, it was confirmed that similar characteristics to the measured values of the bioimpedance measuring system were obtained in the simulations for understanding the impedance characteristics of the intracellular fluid and the extracellular fluid through the skin equivalent circuit model.

To make a practical application of a micro-strain sensors with ultrahigh sensitivity, a strain on electrical properties of micro-patterned amorphous (Fe\ulcornerco\ulcorner)\ulcornerSi\ulcornerB\ulcorner films had influenced on the impedance over frequency range from 1 MHz to 1 GHz. Reflecting excellent magnetomachanical couping properties of films, high frequency impedance was subject to change sensitively by a strain : a change in impe-dance of 39% was observed at 200 MHz applied a strain of 224$\times$10\ulcorner. To determine a optimum shape of micro-patterned films, film impedance was analyzed by virtue of its constitutive components of resis-tance and reactance. Result was shown that reduction of the resistance term(hence increase of resultant reactance term) of impedance is more effective for enhancing the strain sensitivity of films at relatively low frequency range.

In this paper, we analyzed a medium voltage power line characteristics considering the skin effect for high speed data transmission. Medium power-line characteristics impedance was obtained by the S-parameter method which is used in high frequency band. Power line channel characteristics was measured using it designed coupler, it is a wide band coupler between medium powe-line and measurement system. Attenuation characteristics along the frequency was decreased linearly when skin effect was considered but attenuation characteristics along the frequency was decreased linearly when skin effect was not considered. Impedance was showed lower and lower in proportional to frequency, and variation was decreased in proportional to frequency.
Bio-impedance measurement is a measurement device that can be used to obtain biometric information and diagnose skin diseases using convenience, low cost, and low cost devices. In this study, the bio-impedance was measured using a direct dry gold electrode and a simulation study through animal bio modeling to obtain biometric information in a biometric form. Impedance was measured by inserting electrodes into subcutaneous areas of animal tissue and applying frequencies of 100 uA, 1-100 kHz using a two-electrode method. As a result of the measurement, the resistance of the electrodes is measured high at 5 mm electrodes compared to 7.5 mm and 10 mm electrodes based on 5 mm electrodes. Based on the 5 mm electrode, an average difference of 1.49% was found for the 7.5 mm electrode in the total frequency range, and the impedance difference was confirmed to be 2.624% for the 10 mm electrode. In the future, the research results are expected to be valuable in designing and manufacturing electrodes for bio-inserted electrocardiogram sensors.
