사서직은 본질적으로 전문적인 지식과 기술을 습득하고 연마하기 위하여 장기적이고 계속적인 훈련과 연찬이 필요한 직종이다. 적절한 재교육을 통하여 새로운 지식과 정보 그리고 기술을 습득해 나가야 할 필요성이 있다. 이러한 교육의 기회가 바로 연수제도이다. 기존의 연수제도의 문제점과 개선방안을 살펴본 바, 교육훈련방향은 중앙집중식을 지양하며 각 지방의 교육훈련계획에 따라 실시되어야 하고, 교육방법에서는 각 지방에 있는 이론과 실제 전문가를 강사로 초빙하며, 교육평가에서는 선택전문교육의 학점제 및 공통전문교육의 수료제를 시행하여야 한다. 끝으로, 사이버교육의 활성화와 도서관협회의 역할 제고 등도 연수제도에 도입되어 사서의 전문성 능력배양에 일조해야 할 것이다.

본 연구는 한국의 교육현장과 실천현장을 연결하기 위한 목적의 일환으로 한국의 사회복지실천 현장에서 우리의 사회복지사들이 실제 수행하고 있는 실천활동을 분석해 보기 위한 탐색적 연구이다. 이를 위해, 연구자는 현재 한국의 다양한 사회복지 현장에서 활동하고 있는 사회복지사들(669명의 조사 대상자 중 361명이 응답)이 가장 많이 활용하고 있는 실천기술이 무엇인가를 한국의 실천현장에 뿌리를 두고 경험적으로 조사했다. 활용도가 높은 기술 132개의 목록을 제시했으며 그 기술들 안에 존재하는 주요 기술 축 7개를 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 도출했다. 다음으로 이들 각 기술 축 안에 존재하는 하위 기술군들이 요인분석을 통해 도출되었으며, 이들 하위 기술군을 대표하는 핵심기술지표 42개가 제시되었다. 마지막으로 다양한 실천현장별로 각기 다른 실천기술 축을 확인해 분류하였다. 결과의 함의와 후속 연구를 위한 제언이 제시되었다.

This study was conducted to investigate the gender-related effects of two instructional programs on spatial visualization skills of ninth grade students. Two instructional programs were developed for this study: a web-based virtual reality program and a paper-based program. 194 ninth graders from two middle schools in Seoul participated in this study. Six classes were divided into experimental groups and control groups. The Middle Grades Mathematics Projects (MGMP) Spatial Visualization Test was used to measure spatial visualization skills. The data analysis indicated that both the web-based and paper-based programs were effective to improve spatial visualization skills to treatment groups. Although boys'test mean scores were higher than girls' in the pretest, when deleting the effect of covariance of pretest, there were no statistical significance in the post-test. Girls in the treatment groups favored the paper-based spatial visualization program. These results imply that spatial training may benefit girls' performance more than that of boys and mode of instructional programs can create gender-related differences regarding spatial visualization skills.

The purpose of this study is to identify how to improve the quality of department store's sales associates for customer loyalty. This study examines the importance of sales associates' education, skills, and customer service towards customer loyalty. The questionnaire survey was conducted to collect data from 220 clothing sales associates working in department stores. This survey was paper-based. The participants were asked about the questionnaires; sales associates' education, sales associates' ability, customer service, and customer loyalty. General demographic characteristic of participants in the study are as follows; females (72.27%) participated the survey more than males (27.73%). With the age ranging from early 20s to over 40s, most people who took the survey ranged from early 30's to mid 30's with 33.64%. The result indicated that sales associates' education, and customer service skills were significantly corelated to each other. Sales associates' education had no co relation to customer loyalty. In applying the research findings, department stores can design their training contents to offer better training quality. Education of sales associates can be focused by providing various training contents, exercise, effective options, along with the opportunity to improve the qualities of training.

This study aims to examine the role of training and absorptive capacity as a mediator to examine the impact of human capital dimensions on the performance of an organization. This study employs the quantitative approach for analysis. A sample of 208 respondents was collected from the textile factories based in Karachi and Faisalabad. Data was analyzed using the PLS-SEM technique. PLS-SEM algorithm was used to check the validity and reliability of the data. PLS-SEM bootstrapping was used for studying the impact. The results show that the skills have an insignificant impact on organizational performance. Education and skills have an insignificant indirect impact on the performance of an organization. The research findings show that the human capital dimensions are full and partially mediated via absorptive capacity and training. The findings revealed that if we implement one by one dimension of human capital then it will not cause any increase in the organization's performance but if we implement all dimensions then it results in optimal performance. Thus, this study suggests adopting effective training techniques and creating absorptive capacity in an organization to increase the performance of an organization. The findings of this study significantly contribute to the existing body of knowledge.

The aim of this research is to use a conceptual model to experimentally evaluate the mediating impact of government financial and training support on structural social capital and non-financial performance of family farms. Questionnaires were used to collect data from family farms in Guangxi, China, from August 25^th to September 8^th, 2021. There were 759 valid responses, accounting for 94.99 percent of the total number of respondents. The scales' reliability and validity, and the research's mediating effects and hypotheses, are tested using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 26.0. The findings suggest that the impact of government financial assistance on family farms' non-financial performance cannot be substantiated. The intermediary chain connection of financial and training support, on the other hand, has a significant mediating effect between structural social capital and family farm non-financial performance. Direct financial assistance could be thought to encourage family farms to rely too much on funding, making them less competitive in market competition, innovation, and long-term operations. According to the conclusions of the study, government assistance to family farms could take a variety of forms, including providing diversified skills training programs in farming practices, managerial skills, and other areas.

The purpose of this study is to understand how to activate field training internships through former researches related to training internships. The concept of field training is the same as education of work experience. Students have experienced the skills of practical jobs in the tourism industry and could enhance acquisition of professional theories. According to domestic former researches, students who participated in hotel field practice hardly satisfied with internships due to unreasonable duties, burdens and circumstances regardless of efficiency of school curriculum. Also, they showed dissatisfaction with compensation. However, foreign studies have only focused on communication between hotels and schools. Finally, in order to activate industrial field training internships, schools and hotels have more delicate harmonization to address training internship problems. In addition, promoting field training internships must include proper incentives and must be supported by school. And also the hotel management must offer incentives to the students who are under field training internships in the hotel. From internship programs, students could get much more benefits in hotel job application.

Purpose - The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a corporate training program. The case study of HCL Technologies was used to investigate how training programs improve the performance of employees on the job, as well as to identify unnecessary aspects of the training for the purpose of eliminating these from future training programs. Research design, data, and methodology - An exploratory research design was used to conduct the study. The research sample size included 50 HCL employees. The sampling technique for the data collection was convenience sampling. Results - Training is a crucial process in an organization and thus needs to be well designed. Specifically, the training programs should provide adequate knowledge to all employees, ensure correct methods are used for the selection of trainees, and avoid any perception of biasness. Conclusions - Employees were not fully satisfied by the separation of the training program into two parts, on the job and off the job training, but if sufficient data is provided to employees in advance, this could help them during the training process.
