오존수 세척 처리에 의한 유자의 품질 특성 변화 및 저장기간별 살균 효과 (Changes in the Quality Characteristics of Yuzu (Citrus Junos Sieb.) after Ozone Water Washing Treatment, Sterilization and Storage Period)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of sterilization, storage period and washing yuzu, according to the washing method, during the storage period. The results showed that the fungus size increased as the storage period increased, and no mold occurred in the yuzu washed with ozone water until 20 days. After 30 days of storage, a mold of 124.1±13.9 mm2 was observed. The no-treatment sample had a fungus of 814.5±72.8 mm2 in size on day 0 and the fungus the largest fungus was 6,362±636.7 mm2 on day 30. In the case of water treatment, the fungus was 286.4±31.5~4,836.4±484.6 mm2 in size. The results of the study confirmed that washing yuzu with ozone water has a sterilizing effect.

  • Metal hydride used as hydrogen storage material usually needs the activating process to store the hydrogen at high temperature or high pressure. In general as the particle size of metal hydride becomes smaller, approached to the micro, furthermore, nano scale, storage ability and reaction kinetics are reported to be increased, because the specific surface is extremely increased. But the experimental results demonstrated that the optimum particle size is existed for the best absorbing performance, opposite to the usual expectation. This results from the particles to be come amorphous with their approaching to micro and nano scale, in the storage site within the metal hydride lattice is decreased, which is proved by XRD and SEM.

A Study on the Hydrologic Design of Detention Storage Ponds in Urbanized Area

  • This Study is to develop the suitable hydrologic models for determination of the size and location of detention storage facilities to restrain stormwater runoff in urban areas. Hypothetical areas of two levels are considered to seize the hydrologic response characteristics. A one-square-kilometer ares is selected for the catchment level, and a 10-square-kilometer area consisting of 10 catchments is adapted at the watershed level as representative of urban drainage area. In this analysis, different rainfall freqyencies, land uses, drainage patte군, basin shates and detention storage policies are considered. Folw reduction effect of detention storage facilities is deduced from storage ratio and detention basin factor. A substantial saving in detention storage volumes is achieved 노두 the detention storage is planned at the watershed level rather than the catchment level. For the application of real watersheds, two watersheds in Seoul metropolitan area-Jamshil 2 and Seongnae 1-are selected on the basis of hydrologic response charactaristics. Through the regression analysis between dimensionless deterntion storage volume, dimensionless upstream area ratio and reduction rate of storage ratio, the regression equations to determine the size and location of detention storage faclities are presented.

저장캐러셀 설계를 위한 최소비용 모델 및 발견적해법 (A Cost Minimization Model and Its Heuristic Solution Procedure for Storage Carousel Designs)

  • A solution procedure to minimize total carousel related costs has been developed under the carousel throughput rate and total storage capacity requirements. The carousel related costs include carousel facility costs which are proportional to the number of carousels and carousel operating costs which are directly related to the moving distances of carousels. The number of carousels is dependent upon the size of a carousel and the moving distances are determined by the size of a carousel, storage item assignment to each carousel, and the item positions in a carousel. When the storage/retrieval requirements for each storage item is equal, an optimal algorithm has been developed. When the storage/retrieval requirements is unequal, a heuristic solution procedure has been developed because of the complexity of the problem.

  • Despite the steady effort of kitchen furniture industry, consumers' complains never seem to decrease. The common storage problem of the houses of different sizes(20 pyeong, 30 pyeong, and 40 pyeong) was the dificiency of storage area and inadequate shelf division. It implies that such dificiency in kitchens is not because of the size of storage area, but because of such a great diversity of kitchenware and lack of studies on these items. The purpose of this research is to provide the checklist of the variety and quantity of stored kitchenware in researched area and easily adopt it to the kitchen furniture design. Studied household in average hold 239 types and about 890 items. The size of residence did not effect the number much. The first step of making the checklist is to categorize items into 9 biggest categories considering the usage of items and in which step of the preparing food the item was used. Second step is to categorize the items into 31 smaller categories reflecting the shape of items, the storage style and the place of storage. Third step is to sort the items into smallest categories by the frequency of use, storage type, and additional capacity of an item. Even when items are sorted into the same higher level of categories, the frequency of use caused storage area to differ. Also, storage style of an item differed according to the storage area. Based on these factors, we listed items in detail and made the checklist.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 건물의 냉난방에 이용되는 현열이용형 축열조의 축열 특성을 규명하는데 있었다. 실험에 사용된 축열재는 자갈이었으며 일정한 온도조건하에서 축열재 사이를 통과하는 유체의 유동속도와 자갈의 크기별로 실험을 하였다. 자갈의 크기와 유속을 변화시켜 축열량과 축열효율을 실험적으로 구한 결과 축열재의 충진율이 72.5%이고 유속이 0.14m/s일 때가 최단시간 내에 최대축열량에 도달하였으며, 축열효율도 가장 높았다.

  • This article derives an analytic solution to determine the optimal size of multiple noncontinuous process and storage units. The total cost to be minimized consists of the setup cost of noncontinuous processing units and the inventory holding cost of feedstock/product storages. A novel approach, which is called PSW(Periodic Square Wave) model, is applied to represent the material flow among non-continuous units and storages. PSW model presumes that the material flow between unit and storage is periodic square wave shaped. The resulting optimal unit size has similar characteristics with the classical economic lot sizing model such as EOQ(Economic Order Quantity) or EPQ(Economic Production Quantity) model in a sense that the unit size is determined as the balance between setup and inventory holding cost. However, the influence of inventory holding cost of PSW model is different from that of EOQ/EPQ model. EOQ/EPQ model includes only the product inventory holding cost but PSW model includes all inventory holding costs around the non-continuous unit with proportional contribution. PSW model is suitable for analyzing interlinked process-storage system. The optimal lot size of PSW model is smaller than that of EOQ/EPQ model. This is quitea remarkable result considering that the EOQ/EPQ model has been is widely used since last half century.

소유역에서 홍수조절용 펌프 및 유수지 규모의 결정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Determination of Capacity for Pump and Detention Pond in Small Basins for Flood Control)

  • 내배수시설계획시 최대저류비에 의한 유수지 규모의 결정 방법은 이전 연구자에 의하여 제시된 바 있다. 본 연구에서는 동두천시 11개 소규모 내배수시설을 선정하여 분석한 결과, 배수면적이 작고 펌프기능이 강화된 내배수 시설에서는 강우지속기간별 우수지의 저류비의 차이는 미미하므로 최대저류비에 의한 조정지 규모의 결정은 무리가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 최대저류비에 의하여 결정된 조정지 용량을 펌프에 의하여 배제되는 시간은 펌프의 허용시동간격보다 짧은 경우도 있어 펌프의 빈번한 작동을 초래한다. 그러므로 조정지는 펌프의 빈번한 작동에 의한 펌프 고장의 가능성을 피할 수 있는 규모로 결정되어야 한다. 다양한 펌프용량을 적용하여 분석한 결과, 소유역에서도 조정지의 기능이 강화된 내수배제시설에서는 최대저류비를 기준으로 한 조정지 용량의 결정은 펌프운영 측면에서 타당함을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 소규모 배수구역에서 조정지용량의 결정시 펌프의 계획배수량과 유수지의 용량에 따른 펌프의 시동빈도를 반영하여 기존의 최대저류비에 의한 방법을 개선한 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 유수지 규모와 펌프용량의 관계를 간단한 선형계획모형으로 분석한 결과, 종래의 유수지 홍수추적에 의한 유수지 용량 결정은 도시지역의 내배수시설 계획에만 타당함을 알 수 있었다.

Skip-k 저장방식 (Skip-k Storage Policy)

  • We address a new storage policy, called Skip-k storage, which gives storing priority to the items with relatively higher turnover rates. Applying the policy in storage systems such as AS/RS will reduce expected travel distance considerably. We analyze system behavior and find an appropriate skip size expressed by the system parameters in case arrival rates become larger enough.
