The performance of spatio-temporal moving pattern mining depends on how to analyze and process the huge set of spatio-temporal data due to the nature of it. The several method was presented in order to solve the problems in which existing spatio-temporal moving pattern mining methods[1-10] have, such as increasing execution time and required memory size during the pattern mining, but they did not solve properly yet. Thus, we proposed the STMP/MST method[11] as a preceding research in order to extract effectively sequential and/or periodical frequent occurrence moving patterns from the huge set of spatio-temporal moving data. The proposed method reduces patterns mining execution time, using the moving sequence tree based on hash tree. And also, to minimize the required memory space, it generalizes detailed historical data including spatio-temporal attributes into the real world scopes of space and time by using spatio-temporal concept hierarchy. In this paper, in order to verify the effectiveness of the STMP/MST method, we compared and analyzed performance with existing spatio-temporal moving pattern mining methods based on the quantity of mining data and minimum support factor.

Hull forms of ancient ships in Korea and China have been changed according to their voyages and routes. Therefore it is necessary for shipbuilding engineers to reestablish the ancient shipbuilding history, and to presume, restore and revive the lost cultural inheritances. We, however, do not have many historical documents or credible materials that can our ancestors' great shipbuilding techniques : at the same time we do not have paid much attention to the research on such documents and materials. This paper aims not only to study and compare shifting process of ancient ship's hull forms in Korea and China by making use of verifiable materials obtained in the process of excavating and restoring Shinan ancient ship. The results of comparing structural characteristics and hull forms of ancient ships in Korea and China and as follwing : (1) Korean ancient ships have transverse beam instead of frame . Judged from the bottomform, Korean ancient ships are grooved clinker type ships of flat bottom type, in which bottom planking is fixed by wooden bar. (2) Chinese ancient ships have transverse bulkhead structure instead of frame, Judged from the bottom form , Chinese ancient ships are rabetted clinker type ships of V-bottom type with a bar keel. The form , the position, and the size of a sail are closely related with the wind force. It is not only quite difficult to presume forms and sizes of ancient ships' sails precisely, but also impossible to come to an accurate conclusion wihtout much experience. Current 10-year-statistics of the wind force are used to obtain presumed routes of ancient ships in Korea and China. Conclusions obtained from the hull form , sail form and size , and mast height of Shinan ancient ship will provide credible data for sea trade routes and transformation capability, and wil be used for effective materials on the study of the shifting process of ancient ships in Korea and China.

The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of irrigation water for upland crop growth based on the 30 year of historical rainfall data and the water management guidelines as a reference. Five regions and ten crops were selected by their cultivation size. The changes of soil moisture contents were calculated using daily mean rainfall and irrigation demand. This study assumed that crops are irrigated when the soil moisture contents fell below of the field capacity for more than 5 days, which is the drought condition defined by RDA. The maximum irrigation water requirements was 167.2 mm for chinese cabbage during the growing season, which was followed by corn (112.0 mm), daikon (102.3 mm), spinach (66.1 mm), lettuce (56.7 mm), pepper (46.5 mm), potato (33.9 mm), sweet tomato (27.4 mm), peanut (11.5 mm) and bean (10.3 mm), The results of this study could contribute to providing valuable data to determine the capacity of irrigation facilities and to establish the emergency operation plans under extreme unfavorable weather condition (heat wave, etc.) for crop growth.

The design flood formulas in Korean river are reviewed from the early historical stage of the river improvement projects to the present situation. The 11 different formulas are selected for the comparative purpose of the each results at the same rainfall and basin characteristics under the same size of the basin. The max. and min. values of the design flood discharge for the same basin deviated almost as large as 400% according to the formula used without respect to the basin size. The remains have big scattering within those deviations. The steps to derive the design flood are very complicated and tedious time consuming process at present applications. However the reaults computed through the steps are quationable in accordance with the lengths of the hydrological historic records and the accuracy of the data observation technique in view of the engineering judgement. The purpose of this review will give the one of the simplest and the reasonable approach to eliminate misleading the determination of the design flood peak.

The monitoring system for link travel speed using taxi probe is one of key sub-systems of ITS. Link travel speed collected by taxi probe has been widely employed for both monitoring the traffic states of urban road network and providing real-time travel time information. When sample size of taxi probe is small and link travel time is longer than a length of time interval to collect travel speed data, and in turn the missing state is inevitable. Under this missing state, link travel speed data is real-timely not collected. This missing state changes from single to multiple time intervals. Existing single interval prediction techniques can not generate multiple future states. For this reason, it is necessary to replace multiple missing states with the estimations generated by multi-interval prediction method. In this study, a multi-interval prediction method to generate the speed estimations of single and multiple future time step is introduced overcoming the shortcomings of short-term techniques. The model is developed based on Non-Parametric Regression (NPR), and outperformed single-interval prediction methods in terms of prediction accuracy in spite of multi-interval prediction scheme.

Bayesian statistics can play a key role in the design and analysis of clinical trials and this has been demonstrated for medical device trials. By 1995 Bayesian statistics had been well developed and the revolution in computing powers and Markov chain Monte Carlo development made calculation of posterior distributions within computational reach. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) initiative of Bayesian statistics in medical device clinical trials, which began almost 20 years ago, is reviewed in detail along with some of the key decisions that were made along the way. Both Bayesian hierarchical modeling using data from previous studies and Bayesian adaptive designs, usually with a non-informative prior, are discussed. The leveraging of prior study data has been accomplished through Bayesian hierarchical modeling. An enormous advantage of Bayesian adaptive designs is achieved when it is accompanied by modeling of the primary endpoint to produce the predictive posterior distribution. Simulations are crucial to providing the operating characteristics of the Bayesian design, especially for a complex adaptive design. The 2010 FDA Bayesian guidance for medical device trials addressed both approaches as well as exchangeability, Type I error, and sample size. Treatment response adaptive randomization using the famous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation example is discussed. An interesting real example of a Bayesian analysis using a failed trial with an interesting subgroup as prior information is presented. The implications of the likelihood principle are considered. A recent exciting area using Bayesian hierarchical modeling has been the pediatric extrapolation using adult data in clinical trials. Historical control information from previous trials is an underused area that lends itself easily to Bayesian methods. The future including recent trends, decision theoretic trials, Bayesian benefit-risk, virtual patients, and the appalling lack of penetration of Bayesian clinical trials in the medical literature are discussed.
Test case prioritization methods schedule test cases for execution when we can not practically run all test cases for regression testing. We proposed a new prioritization method that is based on historical execution and mr detection data. And we conducted an experiment to compare the proposed method with existing Random and LRU methods using the fault age under the long run environment as criterion. The experiment shows several interesting results. First, our results show that they are complementary. Random method shows good performance for programs that have many error-detectable test cases and HED is more effective for the programs that can be detected by very small amount of test cases. But LRU is more effective for the programs that have relatively medium amount of error detectable test cases. Next, the performance of prioritization method is affected by the size of test suites. Two experiments that have different size of test suites show considerably different fault ages and performance order. And lastly, the $20\%$ of test cases shows considerably good performance compared to the execution result of the full test suite.

1. The historical development of the agriculture in Korea is observed and the future of Korean agriculture is suggested with present situation in order to recommend a direction of policy in agricultural mechanization. 2. A factor analysis of agricultural mechanization The needs of agricultural mechanization in the view of both national need and the armer's desire under the present situation are analyzed with data from the various sources. The researcher found that the agricultural mechanization is badly needed to develop prospective Korean agriculture to future. 3. The direction of agricultural mechanization. It can be said that the position of agriculture in the national economy plays a very important role. This importance should not be ignored by the Politicians in their process of developing long range economy plan. The agricultural mechanization for the modernized Korean agriculture should be directed to increase the most effective results with minimize the least sacrifice. The merry tiller is recommended to the main agricultural machinery in Korea in order to meet its small farming operation un-its(or farm size). Tractor is recommended in the plain area for the crop cultivation. The cooperative cultivation for rice and the upland crops will be developed in the plain area. Tractor, therefore, is recommended for the main agricultural machinery in these areas. Either tractor or merry tiller is recommended to the orchard area by its operating size of the orchard. The researcher also disoussed about the development of animal husbandry on the farm with increasing the farm size in order to develop meadow and pasture nuder the consideration of both the improvement of food consumption and the comprehensive development of national resources. 4. Relationship between the Performance of various agricultural machinery and the economic scale. Because of the agricultural machinery needs an expensive fixed expense(fixed cost) the total expense Per ha of the fixed expense and the operation expense should less than the traditional expense Per Dan Bo with in creased corpgiclds Per Dan Bo. Since the anual fixed expense of the agricultural machinery is figured out by the durability the more the farm size the less fixed expense of machinery is required. The formula of this principle is as follows; fixed expense for Dan Bo=Fixed expense of agricultural machinery farm size(or farming scale) The breaking-even point is the balance point between the expense of the using agricultural machinery and the traditional farming expenses. Labor cost of the Dan Bo is increasing when the management scale increases by the tradititional farming while the machanized management decrease the management cost Per Dan Bo. The reseracher found that the distribution of agricultural machinery will be the adeventeous after the year of 1981 by the result of frguring out the breaking-even point. 5. The Investigate and the conclusion. The purpose of this study is found out the direction of agricultural machanization and the breaking-even point of various agricultural machinery, there for is found out effective of the using various agricultural machinery for Collection cutter, Binder, Footing thresser, Semi-power thresser, Power thresser, Combine, Power rice-Trans-Planter, etc.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the periodical change of Korean children's clothing from 1960 to 2000. As valuable historical data, 794 children's clothing in wedding pictures in these periods were collected for this study. Research method was content analysis and frequency, cross table analysis, and ${\chi}^2$ test were conducted for data analysis. The results of this study were as follows. The children's clothing in 1960s had very humdrum and limited design and plain pattern. And most of children in this period wore Western clothes of casual style. In 1970s, children's clothing was enriched in terms of design, pattern, color and ornament. However, clothing design for children was not developed yet, so form of children's clothing in this period was showed as duplication of adult clothing design. In 1980s, The children's clothing was developed with enhancement of the level of living. Various style and sophisticated design were appeared and design and size system for children were developed. With increasement of social interest of leisure and sports, casual style was especially popular in this period for both of children and adult in this period. In 1990, rapid decrease of birth rate resulted in parents' excessive interest and investment for their children. In this effects, children's clothing in 1990s had luxury, various, and individual characteristics.

By Article two of a Japanese urban park low, it prescribes park facilities strictly, and one of the classifications includes 'path and plaza'. In addition, it is assumed that we divide several kinds different paths of width by size of the park in a path design of a park with a textbook of park design in a trunk line path, the main path, a vice-path or a branch path and design it. From such a thing, in the path of an urban park, a line consists straight of fixed width, and it is most that one pattern is considered to be. Therefore, in modem urban park, a path and division of a plaza are lucid explanation. It is rare that the historical parks which generally former daimyo gardens are shown later, and is used as a kind of an urban park width of the path where was particularly posted in a strolling garden in that is fixed, and width waits straight for even a line and waits, and, for this, there is. As a result, it is a path and the situation that are hard to be distinguished of a plaza. Although there are a difference of design and a difference of pavement materials in modem landscape space when We watch road surface constitution of the path that We did that will let you wait, in gross We are uniform, and it is it with a result to be poor in change nature. From such an observation, this consideration compared traditional landscape space and modem landscape space with path width about two points of road surface constitution through the trial that a graph analyzed the actual place data which measured into and lectured on an ideal method of a park path from this.
