연소 개념 학습에서 변칙 사례에 의한 인지 갈등 및 상황 흥미가 개념 변화 과정에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Cognitive Conflict and Situational Interest by a Discrepant Event on the Conceptual Change Process in Learning the Concept of Combustion)

  • 이 연구에서는 연소 개념 학습에서 변칙 사례의 역할을 인지적 동기적 측면에서 조사했다. 중학교 2학년 학생 433명을 대상으로 선개념 검사와 변칙 사례에 대한 반응 검사, 상황 흥미 검사를 실시했다. 연소 개념 학습을 실시한 후, 사후 검사로 주의집중, 노력, 개념 이해도 검사를 실시했다. 목표 오개념을 지닌 것으로 판별된 208명의 응답을 분석한 결과, 거부와 배제 반응의 비율은 밀도에 대한 선행연구의 결과와 비교하여 상대적으로 높은 반면, 신념 변화 반응의 비율은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 경로 분석 결과, 대안 가설 제시 후의 상황 흥미가 직접적으로 또는 주의집중과 노력을 매개로 개념 이해도에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 변칙 사례에 의해 유발된 상황 흥미는 대안 가설 제시 후의 인지 갈등에 직접적으로 영향을 미치기도 했다.

국내 기업의 인트라넷 수용특성에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on Factors Influencing the Acceptance of Intranet in Korean Companies)

  • Individual adoption and sustained usage of information technology(IT) are crucial prerequisites for exploiting IT as integral components of organizational work. Previous studies on technology adoption in workplace suggest that acceptance behavior is influenced by a variety of factors such as individual differences, social influences, beliefs, attitudes, and situational influences. In this paper, we introduce a research model to predict the usage behavior of intranet in workplace and also explain the causal relationships among variables. Based on the survey of 333 intranet users, this study uses structural equation model with LISREL 8.12. This study suggests several major results from surveys and analysis from them. Perceived use is influenced by intranet experience, task equivocality, organizational support, and perceived ease of use, Experience and organizational support determine perceived ease of use. Task equivocality, task interdependence, and organizational support have positive effects on subjective norm. On the other hand, present usage, which is a dependent variable in this model, is influenced by perceived use, experience, task interdependence, and organizational support.

Social Comparison Theory and Interpersonal Contact: The Influence of Incidental Envy on Contacting Higher or Lower Status Others

  • Incidental envy influences behavior in various domains. However, no research, to date, has investigated whether incidental envy influences interpersonal behavior toward others who are unrelated to the emergence of the emotion. That is, the literature is silent on how those who experience incidental envy engage in interpersonal contact and how this may affect consumers. In this paper, we address this question by investigating the influence of incidental envy on interpersonal contact with others of higher or lower status based on the social comparison theory. We demonstrate that incidental envy (versus a neutral emotion) motivates people to contact higher status others to facilitate upward assimilation (experiments 1 and 2). We also show that when competition (a situational factor that heightens the personal relevance of the interaction with the target) is involved, individuals who feel envy (versus a neutral emotion) are more likely to contact lower status others to engage in downward contrast (experiment 3). We conclude with a discussion of the practical implications of our findings.

간호사의 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인: 개인, 상황, 대인관계변수 중심으로 (Factors to Affect Turnover Intention of Nurse: Focusing on Personal, Situational and Interpersonal Relation Variables)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to figure out influences of supervisor's and colleague's supports, nursing work environment, ego-resilience, organizational commitment and burnout on turnover intention of nurses working in general hospitals. Methods: The data were collected from 379 nurses working in general hospitals with more than 500 beds in S city from July 1 to August 31, 2012. The collected data were analyzed with independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and Hierarchial regression analysis by using SPSS 19.0. Results: In case the subject was young, with work experience of 1~5 years, single, female and position of general nurse, turnover intention was statistically significantly higher. Turnover intention, supervisor's support, nursing work environment, organizational commitment and ego-resilience showed significantly negative correlations, but burnout showed significantly positive correlations. In case of controlling general characteristics, higher correlational variables with turnover intention accounted for 30.2%. Conclusion: In order to reduce turnover intention of general nurses who showed higher intention with 1~5 years' work experience, situational variables such as organizational commitment and nursing work environment and interpersonal relation variables such as supervisor's support as well as personal variables such as ego-resilience should all be considered.

경관의 의미와 경관평가에 관한 연구 - 경관의 미적 특질, 사람들의 목적 및 사회 문화적 경험과의 관련성을 중심으로 - (The effect of landscape meaning on landscape assessment focused on the interaction with scenic beauty, people\\`s purpose and socio-cultural experience)

  • Past research suggests that a landscape has a specific situational meaning that is comprized of physical, social, and functional dimensions. and that the meaning: influences person/landscape interactions. In this study. the effect of landscape meaning on three landscape assessment(scenic beauty assessment, picnic preference, living preference) was tested by manipulating landscape meaning in three ways: Korean-positive, Korean-neutral, American-positive The results showed that landscape ,meaning played an important role in determining cognitive interactions and affective experiences of landscapes. However, it should be notch that the beneficial effect of positive meaning on landscape experiences depended on people's tasks and levels of oflandscape beauty. The effect was larger for both picnic preference (than scenic beauty and living preference) and low-beauty landscape (than the high-beauty) . The results also showed that the beneficial effect of positive meaning depended on the relationship between talc nature of positive meaning and measurement context.

Challenge of Understanding Multichannel Customer Behavior in 21st Century: A Meta-analysis

  • The purposes of this study are to provide comprehensive reviews on multichannel consumer behaviors published in peer-reviewed academic journals from 2005 to 2014, to develop a conceptual framework that demonstrates multichannel determinants such as psychographics, demographics, social influences, and situational factors on consumers' search and purchase behavior based on customers' profits or costs judgment, and to provide possible direction for future research in multichannel consumer behavior. Three steps were taken in the process of analyzing consumers' channel determinants presented in the 37 studies, and 12 most frequently used factors that appear in the studies were extracted. These factors include convenience, service, trust/risk, saving money, product knowledge, experience, efficacy/usefulness, involvement, shopping environment/situation factors, demographics, product types, and social influence. With 12 determinants of multichannel consumers' search and purchase behavior, a conceptual framework was proposed based on expectancy theory. The directions for future research were also discussed.

리더십유형이 병원 조직구성원의 직무만족, 조직몰입 및 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Influences of Type of Leadership on Hospital Organizational Members' Job Satisfaction, Organizational commitment, and Turnover Intentions)

  • It is important how the leader leads the organizational members with leadership appropriate to environment changes as the leader has great influence on the management of hospital organization. These data were collected from the questionnaire surveyed, from February 14 through February 28, 2003, to 218 people among those in the field of doctorship, management administration, nursing, technology, medical engineering, management engineering, and general affairs, working for three hospitals under S medical foundation in Pusan. The principal findings of this research are as below : 1. Type of leadership and job satisfaction had positive correlation in terms of both transformational and transactional leadership, with former having more relation than the latter. 2. Type of leadership and organizational commitment had positive correlation in terms of intellectual stimulus and situational rewards, having little relation statistically. 3. Type of leadership and turnover intentions had negative correlation only in individual consideration, situational rewards, and exceptional management, showing that transactional leadership had more relation than transformational leadership. 4. In terms of leadership and its effect on the organizational performance and turnover intentions, transformational leadership had more correlation than transactional leadership. But transactional leadership also turned out to have effect on organizational performance. When transformational leadership used, turnover intentions were lower than when transactional leadership used. However, both transformational and transactional leadership had negative correlation to turnover intentions. 5. Effect that type of leadership according to job classification, status, age, and academic career has on organizational performance and turnover intentions was differed by those factors; especially, in the occupation of doctor, both transformational and transactional leadership had positive correlation to turnover intentions. 6. Regression analysis on the factors of organizational performance and turnover intentions showed that higher age had positive correlation to the organizational performance in terms of socio-demographical features and that the more leadership was used for charismatic and situational rewards and the less leadership was used for intellectual stimuli, the higher organizational performance was likely. In short, hospital operators and managers should examine each manager's qualification, type, and style of leadership in the hospital organization, and they must develop lasting programs for effective education and training for developing characteristics of leadership are in needed to have managers with appropriate managerial mind to respective post and status. It should be kept in mind that manager's leadership especially has great effect on members' goal-setting, goal-achievement, organizational performance, and turnover intentions as it is a decisive factor of organizational members' attitude and motivation.

고령운전자의 상황적응능력과 만성질환이 운전행동에 미치는 영향 (The influence of driving situational adaptability and chronic disease on driving behavior of elderly drivers)

  • 본 연구에서는 고령운전자의 지나친 조심운전 뿐만 아니라 고령운전자가 경험하고 있는 만성질환과 만성질환으로 인한 약의 복용 여부가 사고위험성 증대의 원인으로 작용하고 있는지 확인해 보고자 하였다. 조사대상자의 운전행동을 알아보기 위하여, 만 65세 이상의 고령운전자 91명에게 자기운전능력평가지와 운전경험조사지를 실시하였다. 고령운전자의 운전패턴을 살펴 본 결과, 고령운전자의 연령이 증가할수록 운전속도와 운전양이 감소하였다. 운전상황적응능력은 사회적 적응환경과 물리적 적응환경으로 이루어져 있었다. 고령운전자는 사회적 적응환경보다 물리적 적응환경에서 상대적으로 낮은 자신감을 보였으며, 더 높은 수준의 어려움과 스트레스를 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 운전상황적응능력은 가해사고, 피해사고와 상관관계를 가지고 있었다. 이는 고령운전자의 지나친 조심성이 교통사고경험과 직접적인 관계가 있음을 시사하였다. 만성질환이 고령운전자의 가해사고에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과, 신경계질환이나 위염이 있는 운전자가 더 많은 가해사고를 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 만성질환으로 인해 약을 복용하고 있는 고령운전자의 대다수는 복용하고 있는 약이 운전에 어려움이나 불편함을 준다고 생각하지 않았으며, 약을 복용하고 있는 기간에도 운전을 지속적으로 하는 것으로 나타났다.
