Currently, there are little evaluated model for each industry and systematic analysis for each item about current business web sites. And the approach way to improve it all depends on individual. This research is about two different points of view on I-Evaluation development as an approach method to provide analysis, evaluation, and guideline on business web sites. The one is about developing a working step and a site evaluation model that are necessary to improve the quality of site. The other is about a framework development to apply a feedback on site most rapidly and site optimization. The former is from the methodological point of view for I-Evaluation, and the latter is from the point of view for I-Evaluation Framework. In terms of methodology, developing site evaluation model and defining a working step belong to it. Site evaluation model means customizing each customers web site, using each evaluated scoring model which can be a standard for each industry to analyze a similar business web site. Defining a working step means defining input and output parameters for composed elements, working processes, and results analysis on an evaluated model. And also it includes building a working environments to automatic steps mentioned the above by clarifying them.

The comparative evaluation is the most effective method for site selection because the selection of waste treatment facility is to determine the optimum site out of limited candidate sites. This study adopted the ordinal scale evaluation, one of methods of comparative evaluation. The ordinal scale evaluation aims to determine the investigating items referring to the character of sites, to determine the importance factors for investigating items, and to determine the optimum site according to the quantitative evaluation. This study has focussed on reflecting the opinion of residents to the maximum extent with a weight on social and economic aspects, considering the state of confrontation against each other between the autonomous government organization and local residents, which is being emerged as a social issue relating to the evaluation rating on each item of site selection of an optimum site. Therefore, rational, and clear validity investigations and proper reduction of both time and expenses in site selection as well through this a study.

Evaluation of retrieval systems is mostly limited to laboratory settings and rarely considers changes of performance over time. This article presents an evaluation of retrieval systems for internal Web site search systems between the years 2006 and 2011. A holistic evaluation methodology for real Web sites was developed which includes tests for functionality, search quality, and user interaction. Among other sites, one set of 20 Web site search systems was evaluated three times in different years and no substantial improvement could be shown. It is surprising that the communication between site and user still leads to very poor results in many cases. Overall, the quality of these search systems could be improved, and several areas for improvement are apparent from our evaluation. For a comparison, Google’s site search function was also tested with the same tasks.

The purposes of this study are to revise an site-based environmental education(EE) Program evaluation chart and to evaluate site-based EE programs using the chart. For revising the evaluation chart, several elements in the former chart were changed, infused, deleted, integrated, or split. The points of some elements in the former chart were also changed. The revised chart consist of 38 elements in 6 areas: purpose and goal, teaching and learning plan, teaching and learning process, educational effect and programs evaluation, Program characteristic, and program operation. Using the revised chart, the researchers evaluated 159 site-based EE programs, funded by the Korean Ministry of Environment in 2002. The result indicated that the mark of 'teaching and learning plan' area is higher than other areas, while the mark of 'educational effect and programs evaluation' is the lowest. On the basis of evaluation, the researchers offered some recommendations for the Korean site-based EE programs.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the application of fashion-related web sites and their evaluation. 76 college students major in fashion design were surveyed and the evaluation criteria were classified into five categories such as the accuracy/reliability, the design of a picture, the ease of application, the communication/security, and additional services. The results of this study were as follows: 1. College students used web sites mostly to search for fashion trend information from magazine and fashion information sites. 2. While the media site was excellent in the evaluation criteria such as the accuracy/reliability, the design of a picture and the communication/security, the fashion information site was excellent in the evaluation criteria such as the accuracy/reliability, communication/ security and additional services. 3. The media site and the fashion information site generally ranked high and the fashion brand site ranked low in most evaluation items. 4. By the results of ANOVA, 12 items showed significant differences out of the total 19 items. 5. Out of the total evaluation items, the design of a picture ranked highest and the external link function ranked lowest.

As a result of this study, the defects of the former reports on the environmental characteristics, such as obscurity of meaning and subjective statement, were reduced by the ordinal scale evaluation which is one of the quantitative evaluation methods. This ordinal scale evaluation method has some valuable advantages, such as, to be able to consider the cost-effect efficiency, to consider the objectiveness and the clearness of the reports on the environmental characteristics. Therefore the reducement of social complications about site selection of the indisposed facilities could be expected by this study.

This paper proposes a mathematical model for web site service quality evaluation, which first applies analytic hierarchy process(AHP) to determine the weights of evaluation indexes of web site service quality and then analyzes web site service synthetically by means of fuzzy methodology. In this case, experts' knowledge cannot only be used but its subjective component can be eliminated. Hence, the web site service quality can be analyzed and evaluated more reasonably. After establishing this model, the experiment results will be given, which verify the feasibility and validity of the proposed model. The model proposed here is very simple and easy to implement and can provide a useful way to help developers evaluate their web site service quality efficiently.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate site-based environmental education(EE) programs. For the evaluation, an evaluation chart was developed. The chart was consisted of twenty evaluation items in the following six categories : 'goals & objectives', 'instructional planning', 'instruction', 'learning outcomes & evaluation', 'features of program', and 'program operation'. One hundred sixty five site-based EE programs, funded by the Korean Ministry of Environment in 2000, were evaluated. After the evaluation, the programs were also categorized and analyzed according to regions, organizations, and amount of funds. The results indicated that awareness, participation, and attitude were addressed in the purpose of the programs, while knowledge and skills were not. The diversity of activities and teaching strategies of the programs were insufficient. Cultural aspects, fairness, originality, and accuracy were also insufficiently addressed. Assessment and evaluation of such programs were needed to be considered to a larger degree. From the analysis of programs according to categories, Choongbuk province in the regional aspect and schools in the organizational aspect got higher scores than others. Overall, the more funding the program received, the higher score it got in evaluation. Some improvements and strategies for activating site-based EE were recommended based on the result of the evaluation.

Free-field ground motion during earthquake is significantly affected by the local site conditions and the behavior of structure is influenced by ground motion, it is essential to perform the reliable site characterization and to determine the site specific earthquake response. In this study, case study of site specific ground response evaluation was performed at Inchon area. Step by step procedures for site characterization and one-dimensional site response analysis were introduced and the importance of site specific analysis was verified.

As the interest in internet business increases, effective web site evaluation is in order. While web site evaluation is supposed to be based on feasible applicability and trust-worthy criteria. many researches on web site evaluation fails to rover the various business models and consider corporate-activity-related features. Besides, dealing with the limited aspects such as design and cognitive science is something to be desired on the previous researches. Therefore, This paper presents internet web site evaluation framework not only based on existing researches and analysis but also reflecting corporate strategies. The framework includes web sites contents, design, operation and management-related factors, and it is applied to companies to validate its applicability.
