Fractal 나무의 개념을 기반으로 한 설마천 시험유역의 Fractal 차원 추정 (Estimation of fractal dimension for Seolma creek experimental basin on the basis of fractal tree concept)

  • 본 연구에서는 Fractal 나무의 개념을 이용하여 자연유역의 두 가지 개별적 Fractal 차원을 추정하는 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 Fractal 나무의 성장 과정을 기반으로 유역 내부에서 발생 가능한 모든 배수 경로를 추출하여 완전한 배수망을 구성하고 이에 해당하는 Fractal 특성을 분석해 보고자 한다. 유역 내부에서 Fractal 나무의 성장 과정은 하천 유동의 특성을 가지는 배수 경로에서만 제한적으로 나타날 수 있다. 소규모 유역의 경우 Fractal 나무의 성장 단계에 따라 망상 구조의 분기 특성이 단일 하천 구간의 사행 특성에 비하여 민감하게 변화하여 단일한 망상 구조 속에서도 다양한 분기 구조가 생성될 수 있다. 따라서 소규모 유역을 대상으로 한 망상 구조에 대한 Fractal 차원은 단일한 수치의 고정된 형태보다는 범위의 형태로 취급되어야 하는 것이 타당한 것으로 판단된다. 또한, 소규모 유역의 배수 구조에 대한 분석에는 지형도나 수치지도로부터 추출한 하천망보다 본 연구에서 제시한 Fractal 나무의 성장에 따른 망상 구조와 같은 정보가 더 유용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

섬유 종류에 따른 디지털 텍스타일 프린팅의 발색성 비교 분석 (Coloring Analysis of Digital Textile Printing According to the Type of Fiber)

  • Whole process of textile printing is made by computer and it remarkably improves environment problem. This digital textile printing is becoming next step environment friendly textile printing method. But, still now range of textile possible for digital textile printing is limited, and also color analysis according to fiber types is not completed. The ink printed on the fabrics through DTP printer can be absorbed and fixed into textile without any blots by pre-treatment using suitable media solution for fabrics types. The chemical formulation of media solution used in the pre-treatment process varies according to the types of textiles and inks for DTP products. First, I studied reference books or articles about color analysis of digital textile printing. Second, I recorded pre-process, printing, post-process and coloring of silk, wool, nylon at same condition. After that, I analyzed $L^*\;a^*\;b^*$, Total K/S, ${\Delta}E$ and studied color intensity and coloring. According to this study, I suggested particular textile special for coloring and manual for affective coloring control. It showed that the performance of the digital printing on the Silk, Wool and Nylon blend fabrics treated by the media solution developed in this study was better than the one treated by the previous media solution for each single inks.

Hough 변환을 이용한 입경 측정을 위한 영상처리 알고리즘의 개선 (Improvement of Image Processing Algorithm for Particle Size Measurement Using Hough Transform)

  • Previous studies on image processing techniques for panicle size measurement usually have focused on a single panicle or weakly overlapped particles. In the present work, the image processing algorithm for particle size measurement has been improved to process heavily-overlapped spherical-particle images. The algorithm consists of two steps; detection of boundaries which separate the images of the overlapped panicles from the background and the panicle identification process. For the first step, Sobel operator (using gray-level gradient) and the thinning process was adopted, and compared with the gray-level thresholding method that has been widely adopted. In the second, Hough transform was used. Hough transform is the detection algorithm of parametric curves such as straight lines or circles which can be described by several parameters. To reduce the measurement error, the process of finding the true center was added. The improved algorithm was tested by processing an image frame which contains heavily overlapped spherical panicles. The results showed that both the performances of detecting the overlapped images and separating the panicle from them were improved.

웨이퍼 본딩을 이용한 탐침형 정보 저장장치용 열-압전 켄틸레버 어레이 (Thermo-piezoelectric $Si_3N_4$ cantilever array on n CMOS circuit for probe-based data storage using wafer-level transfer method)

  • In this research, a wafar-level transfer method of cantilever array on a conventional CMOS circuit has been developed for high density probe-based data storage. The transferred cantilevers were silicon nitride ($Si_3N_4$) cantilevers integrated with poly silicon heaters and piezoelectric sensors, called thermo-piezoelectric $Si_3N_4$ cantilevers. In this process, we did not use a SOI wafer but a conventional p-type wafer for the fabrication of the thermo-piezoelectric $Si_3N_4$ cantilever arrays. Furthermore, we have developed a very simple transfer process, requiring only one step of cantilever transfer process for the integration of the CMOS wafer and cantilevers. Using this process, we have fabricated a single thermo-piezoelectric $Si_3N_4$ cantilever, and recorded 65nm data bits on a PMMA film and confirmed a charge signal at 5nm of cantilever deflection. And we have successfully applied this method to transfer 34 by 34 thermo-piezoelectric $Si_3N_4$ cantilever arrays on a CMOS wafer. We obtained reading signals from one of the cantilevers.

  • The single-step process for conversion of syngas to DME give higher conversion than the syngas-to-methanol process. This arises because of a synergy among the three simultaneous reaction, methanol synthesis, methanol dehydration and water gas shift reaction, in the process. we would find the optimal condition of the process which these advantages. The optimal condition of DME synthesis reaction over a commercial $Cu/Zn/Al_2O_3$ catalyst and Hybrid catalyst in a fixed bed reactor. The syngas-to-dimethyl ether conversion was examined on various reaction condition (Temperature 473~553K, $H_2/CO$ ratio 1~3, Pressure 30'50atm, GHSV 1000~4000).

비축대칭 와셔 캠 볼트의 다단 단조공정 설계를 위한 유한요소 해석 (Finite Element Analysis for Multi-stage Forging Process Design of Bolt with Nonaxisymmetric Washer Cam)

  • Process design of multi-stage forging for a bolt with nonaxisymmetric washer cam has been studied by using finite element method. For shape complexity of the bolt, it is impossible to manufacture in a single stage forging. To design multi-stage forging for the bolt the forging load and fiber flow of each step have been analyzed by using commercial finite element code DEFORM-3D. Simulated results have been compared with experimental ones. Multi-stage forging process has been designed with four stages. The workpiece should be eccentric shape until third forging stage. And then bolt head and washer of eccentrical shape is created in last stage. As a results, It was predicted that shape of product would be good and effective strain would be uniformly distributed in the product. Also, it was predicted whether defects would exist or not by reviewing the fiber flow.

북한이탈주민의 가족이주 특성과 유형 (Family Migration Characteristics and Types of North Korean Defectors)

  • Objectives: This study explores the characteristics of family migration for North Korean defectors and classifies family migration by examining who initiated the migration and who followed. Method: We analyzed the family migration using detailed stories from fifty-five North Korean defectors who were interviewed between 2005 and 2011. Results: We found that 43 out of 55 cases were family migration and the remaining 12 cases were single person migration. We also found several characteristics typical of migration. First, family migration followed the process of step migration, which indicated a serial migration in numbers. Second, migration relied heavily on informal social networks. Finally, the process of earlier migration by North Koreans was incidental and unexpected; however, unexpectedness has diminished in recent migration. Looking at who initiated the migration, the most common type was 'mother-initiated' cases (14 cases) followed by 'child-initiated' cases (10 cases). The third most common type was 'mother-child accompanied' cases (7 cases). The migration process was various; however the most common type was when a married woman initiated the family migration process. This is most likely because married women have the responsibility to support families in the informal economy of North Korea. According to the range of family migrated, the most common type was 'nuclear-family only' cases (22 cases) followed by 'maternal extended family migration' cases (12 cases). Conclusions: The findings of this study provide information on the family dynamics of North Korean defectors.

CUPID 코드의 유체 물성치 변화를 고려한 자연대류 해석 (NATURAL CIRCULATION ANALYSIS CONSIDERING VARIABLE FLUID PROPERTIES WITH THE CUPID CODE)

  • Without electirc power to cool down the hot reactor core, passive systems utilizing natural circulation are becoming a big specialty of recent neculear systems after the severe accident in Fukusima. When we consider the natural circulation in a pool, thermal mixing phenomena may start from single phase circulation and can continue to two phase condition. Since the CUPID code, which has been developed for two-phase flow analysis, can deal with the phase transition phenomena, the CUPID would be pertinent to natural convection problems in single- and two-phase conditions. Thus, the CUPID should be validated against single- and two-phase natural circulation phenomena. For the first step of the validation process, this study is focused on the validation of single-phase natural circulation. Moreover, the CUPID code solves the fluid properties by the relationship to pressure and temperature from the steam table considering non-condensable gas effects, so that the effects from variable properties are included. Simple square thermal cavity problems are tested for laminar and turbulent conditions against numerical and experimental data. Throughout the investigation, it is found that the variable properties can affect the flow field in laminar condition, but the effect becomes weak in turbulence condition, and the CUPID code implementing steam table is capable of analyzing single phase natural circualtion phenomena.

북유럽 인양목선의 보존처리-덴마아크 Viking선을 중심으로 (The conservation of the ancient ships salvaged in North Europe-Especially on the Conservation of the Viking ships - Especially on the Conservation of the Viking ships in Denmark)

  • In this report the practical case of Viking ship's conservation in Denmarke specially among the Eurpoean nations is introduced. The contents of it are summarized as follows :From 1957 to 1962 the Danish National Museum Salvaged five Viking ships from the bottom of Roskilde Fjord, Which were composed of the pieces of timber whose surface was soft because they had lain on the sea bed for about a thousand years. Excavation had been carried out in the same way as in the field by driving down a sheet piling around the wrecks and pumping the water out. These pieces of the wreck ships were packed in airtight plastic bags one by one to be transported for Brede and then immidiately had to go through the treatment for conservation. The conservation treatment process for the pieces includes three steps ; the preliminary process prior to the hardening treatment, the hardening and the assemble of the ships. In the first step ; the preliminary process, all remains of mud and shells from the fjord bed are washed off, and measuring followed ; every single piece of wreckage was drawn so that the form and size of the piece, nail holes, and breaks were registered before conservation. In the second ; the hardening treatment step, the pieces of the woreckage were filled with P.E.G. This Polyethylene Glycol method was the best to handle in the subsequent mounting of the ships in the museum. In the final, the Glycol-treated pieces were pieced together to spips with support of a system of reinforcements. They were to fit in place after corrections of the form were made several times.

선박블록의 정도관리를 위한 3차원 좌표의 패턴매칭 알고리즘에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Pattern Matching Algorithm of 3D Coordinates for Quality Control in Ship Blocks)

  • 일반적으로 선박공정에서 작업자는 완성된 블록을 레이저 계측장비를 이용하여 제작된 선박블록의 3차원 좌표를 측정한다. 그런데 제작된 선박블록의 좌표측정은 수작업으로 이루어졌으므로 이에 의한 측정된 좌표는 설계단계에서 작성된 도면의 설계좌표와 편차가 발생한다. 이로 인해 작업자는 육안으로 직접 선박블록의 측정좌표와 설계좌표의 일치정도를 확인해야 하며, 이는 선박불록의 정도관리에 대한 인적 및 시간적 비용을 크게 증가시킨다. 본 논문에서는 선박공정의 선박블록의 정도관리에 있어서 이러한 단점을 해결할 수 있는 자동화된 3차원 좌표의 패턴매칭 알고리즘을 제안하고, 제안한 3차원 좌표의 패턴매칭 알고리즘의 성능은 자체적으로 개발한 3차원 좌표 시뮬레이션 프로그램에 의해 분석하였다. 단일 및 다수 선박블록의 측정좌표 데이터에 대한 좌표매칭율은 거리오차 허용범위가 20~25cm에서 약 90.2%가 됨을 확인하였다.
