  • Airport facility is infrastructure that become external creditworthiness and linear measure of country competitive power. Among them, receive and supply of electric power facility of airport is very important in peculiarity, trustability, safety side of airport. In this parer, sorted domestic airline as 4 classes by code to accomplish standardization for receive and supply of electric power facility of airport. And established justice and coverage about receive and supply of electric power facility using without any standard present and analyze problem for receive and supply of electric power facility of existing airport and presents standard. Finally, present standard single-line diagram by airport grade and system grade standard of receive and supply of electric power facility of airport.

  • 현재의 배전자동화 시스템에서는 빠르게 계통의 변화를 이해하고 변화에 대한 대응을 할 수 있도록 전압 손실계산, 공급예비력 확보, 부하융통 방안수립 등을 주 업무로 하는 회선별 단선도를 가지고 있다. 또한 부하밀집 지역 같은 경우는 다수의 설비 symbol이 매우 근접하게 배치되어 있지만 단선도를 통해 계통을 단순화시켜 계통의 연결 관계를 쉽게 파악하고 운영한다. 하지만 도시가 점점 발전함에 따라 배 전자동화 시스템의 단선도 화면에 symbol이 많아져 계통이 크고 복잡해 졌을때 단선도가 화면을 넘어가는 현상과 선로의 중복 현상이 나타난다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 배 전자동화 시스템의 회선별 단선도 자동 생성 알고리즘은 계통이 크고 복잡해 져도 autodrawing기법을 통해 한 화면에 모두 보여 주고, 중복 현상을 없애기 위한 선로의 구성과 중복 현상 발생 때에도 좌표를 재배치 하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 알고리즘을 통해 해결하며 또한 제안한 알고리즘을 검증하기 위해 VC++6.0을 기반으로 구현하였고, 이를 배전 자동화 시스템의 데이터베이스를 이용한 단선도와 비교를 통해 검증하였다.

Fabrication and Its Characteristics of HgCdTe Infrared Detector (HgCdTe를 이용한 Infrared Detector의 제조와 특성)

  • HgCdTe Is the most versatile material for the developing infrared devices. Not like III-V compound semiconductors or silicon-based photo-detecting materials, HgCdTe has unique characteristics such as adjustable bandgap, very high electron mobility, and large difference between electron and hole mobilities. Many research groups have been interested in this material since early 70's, but mainly due to its thermodynamic difficulties for preparing materials, no single growth technique is appreciated as a standard growth technique in this research field. Solid state recrystallization(SSR), travelling heater method(THM), and Bridgman growth are major techniques used to grow bulk HgCdTe material. Materials with high quality and purity can be grown using these bulk growth techniques, however, due to the large separation between solidus and liquidus line on the phase diagram, it is very difficult to grow large materials with minimun defects. Various epitaxial growth techniques were adopted to get large area HgCdTe and among them liquid phase epitaxy(LPE), metal organic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD), and molecular beam epitaxy(MBE) are most frequently used techniques. There are also various types of photo-detectors utilizing HgCdTe materials, and photovoltaic and photoconductive devices are most interested types of detectors up to these days. For the larger may detectors, photovoltaic devices have some advantages over power-requiring photoconductive devices. In this paper we reported the main results on the HgCdTe growing and characterization including LPE and MOCVD, device fabrication and its characteristics such as single element and linear array($8{\times}1$ PC, $128{\times}1$ PV and 4120{\times}1$ PC). Also we included the results of the dewar manufacturing, assembling, and optical and environmental test of the detectors.

Study on Wear of Journal Bearings during Start-up and Coast-down Cycles of a Motoring Engine - I. Theory and Analysis Procedure (모터링 엔진의 시동 사이클 및 시동 정지 사이클에서 저어널베어링의 마모 연구 − I. 이론 및 해석 절차)

  • This paper presents a wear analysis procedure for the journal bearings on a stripped-down single-cylinder engine during start-up and coast-down by motoring. A journal bearing is in the mixed elastohydrodynamic (EHL) lubrication region when the shaft speed is less than the corresponding lift-off speed. Below the lift-off speed, a wear scar can form on bearing surfaces. In part 1 of this paper, we develop the appropriate formulations and the calculation procedure for the analysis. Specifically, we formulate an equation for modified film thickness in a journal bearing considering the additional wear volume. In order to obtain the modified specific wear rate induced by the modified Archard’s wear coefficient, we utilized the extended non-dimensional diagram for the specific wear rate, k, the fractional film defect coefficient, Ψ and the asperity load sharing factor, γ2. This asperity load sharing factor is newly calculated by setting the Zhao-Maietta-Chang (ZMC) asperity contact pressure equation coupled with the central film thickness equation derived by using the ZMC asperity contact model equal to the modified central contact pressure derived by using the central (or maximum) contact pressure at the dry rough line-contact configuration. We can use the procedure introduced in this paper to determine the lifetime (or longterm) linear wear in radial journal bearings that is a result of repeated stop-start cycles.

A Study on the Interface between DAS and SCADA by using Direct Method (직접연계방법에 의한 DAS-SCADA 연계 연구)

  • DAS and SCADA system are main systems, which operate and manage the power system by using computer and communication technology. But DAS and SCADA have been operated independently in Korea, so there was some time delay in the fault handling and live-line work. To improve that problems, studies on the interface between DAS and SCADA have been needed. From November 2005 to December 2007, the pilot project has been performed in KEPCO's branch offices, as a result, direct method will be applied widely all over the country until 2010 because the operation information of substation users want can be transmitted fast and it is possible to control 43RC directly although the expense for direct method is about 1.3 times larger than that for web method. To improve problems revealed during the pilot project, substation object to object communication method is proposed and interface database automatic generation and interface system diagnosis and logging functions are developed. Interface data point and communication data type are defined, substation single line diagram automatic generation or manual editing function, SCADA monitoring and controlling function, log data managing function are developed in SCADA HMI program. It is expecting to reduce the average time for each outage about 33% and to improve the reliability, efficiency of operation, execution of DAS from automatic load transfer under a fault, and to contribute to export project.

MONITORING OBSERVATIONS OF H2O AND SiO MASERS TOWARD POST-AGB STARS

  • We present the results of simultaneous monitoring observations of $H_2O$ $6_{1,6}-5_{2,3}$ (22GHz) and SiO J=1-0, 2-1, 3-2 maser lines (43, 86, 129GHz) toward five post-AGB (candidate) stars, using the 21-m single-dish telescopes of the Korean VLBI Network. Depending on the target objects, 7 - 11 epochs of data were obtained. We detected both $H_2O$ and SiO maser lines from four sources: OH16.1-0.3, OH38.10-0.13, OH65.5+1.3, and IRAS 19312+1950. We could not detect $H_2O$ maser emission toward OH13.1+5.1 between the late OH/IR and post-AGB stage. The detected $H_2O$ masers show typical double-peaked line profiles. The SiO masers from four sources, except IRAS 19312+1950, show the peaks around the stellar velocity as a single peak, whereas the SiO masers from IRAS 19312+1950 occur above the red peak of the $H_2O$ maser. We analyzed the properties of detected maser lines, and investigated their evolutionary state through comparison with the full widths at zero power. The distribution of observed target sources was also investigated in the IRAS two-color diagram in relation with the evolutionary stage of post-AGB stars. From our analyses, the evolutionary sequence of observed sources is suggested as OH65.5+1.3${\rightarrow}$OH13.1+5.1${\rightarrow}$OH16.1-0.3${\rightarrow}$OH38.10-0.13, except for IRAS 19312+1950. In addition, OH13.1+5.1 from which the $H_2O$ maser has not been detected is suggested to be on the gateway toward the post-AGB stage. With respect to the enigmatic object, IRAS 19312+1950, we could not clearly figure out its nature. To properly explain the unusual phenomena of SiO and $H_2O$ masers, it is essential to establish the relative locations and spatial distributions of two masers using VLBI technique. We also include the $1.2-160{\mu}m$ spectral energy distribution using photometric data from the following surveys: 2MASS, WISE, MSX, IRAS, and AKARI (IRC and FIS). In addition, from the IRAS LRS spectra, we found that the depth of silicate absorption features shows significant variations depending on the evolutionary sequence, associated with the termination of AGB phase mass-loss.

Convergence Speed Improvement in MMA Algorithm by Serial Connection of Two Stage Adaptive Equalizer (2단 적응 등화기의 직렬 연결에 의한 MMA 알고리즘의 수렴 속도 개선)

  • This paper deals with the mMMA (modified MMA) which possible to improving the convergence speed that employing the serial connecting form of two stage digital filter instead of signal filter of MMA adaptive equalizer without applying the variable step size for compensates the intersymbol interference by channel distortion in the nonconstant modulus signal. The adaptive equalizer can be implemented by signal digital filter using the finite order tap delay line. In this paper, the equalizer is implemented by the two stage serial form and the filter coefficient are updated by the error signal using the same algorithm of MMA in each stage. The fast convergence speed is determined in the first stage, and the residual isi left at the output of first stage output is minimized in the second stage filter. The same digital filter length was considered in single stage and two stage system and the performance of these systems were compared. The performance index includes the output signal constellation, the residual isi and maximum distortion, MSE that is measure of the convergence characteristics, the SER. As a result of computer simulation, mMMA that has a FIR structure of two stage, has more good performance in every performance index except the constellation diagram due to equalization noise and improves the convergence speed about 1.5~1.8 time than the present MMA that has a FIR structure of single stage.
