Selected characteristics were compared in the speech of three tracheoesophageal, five tracheopharyngeal and ten normal laryngeal adult speakers. Tracheoesophageal speakers use Blom-Singer voice prosthesis after total laryngectomy and tracheopharyngeal speakers use tracheopharyngeal myomucosal shunt after near-total laryngectomy. Intelligibility judgement was based on standard Korean monosyllabic and bisyllabic word lists of 50 items. Aerodynamic study was composed of maximum phonation time, phonaton quotient. phonation pressure and mean air flow rate. Results indicate that intelligibility of tracheopharygeal speech is more similar to normal laryngeal speech than tracheoesophageal speech using Blom-Singer voice prosthesis.

All singers can often develop voice trouble secondary to vocal abuse and overuse, but it is well known that traditional Korean singer (pansori) develop voice disorders more frequently than western style sunger. While laryngological concern for voice disorders arising in professional singers has received some attention, empirically motivated investigations of the underlying acoustic features of the singing voice have been relatively limited. Since all singers have a good knowledge of the voice and voice training, they would hardly give consent for treatment to a doctor unless he understood their desire to maximize their voice quality. The components of this report are composed of breathing, basic ekement, and vocalization, essencial fact, for getting a perfect voice for pansori. The breathing is based on hypogastric breathing. The main functions of breathing are energy and power of utterence, tempo of rhythm and seperating paragraph and controlling feelings according to dramatic situation. Vocalization is based on general vocalization. Main uses of it are maintaining singer's tone and harmony of cosmetic dual force.

Because vocal technique is the basis of singing a song beautifully, so this study was undertaken to use the scientific and correct technique in order to get much better musical expressions. Shimadzu X - ray remote control TV system was used for checking the supporting state of diaphragmatic respiration after 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 sec during phonation in the state of full inhalation between professional singer and non - professional singer. Shimadzu Magnet $nex-{\alpha}$(SMT -50CX/H) was used for examining the scattering state from the resonance of nasal cavity to that of cranial cavity on the basis of diaphragmatic respiration. The results obtained were summerized as follows : 1. The resonance of cranial cavity must be scattered by the energy of diaphragmatic respiration after gathering the foci of the fundamental 5 vowels. 2. while raising the epiglottis, the resonance of nasal cavity must be clearly in order to maintain the resonance of cranial cavity beautifully. 3. We can get musical expressions by maintaining the elasticity of diaphragmatic respiration.

The anatomy of the voice is not limited to the region of the larynx. Practically all body systems affect the voice. The larynx receives the greatest attention because it is the most sensitive and expressive component of the vocal mechanism, but anatomic interactions throughout the singer's body must be considered in making the singing voice. The physiology of voice production is exceedingly complex. The voice requires interactions among the power source, the oscillator, and the resonator. The review of functional anatomy and physiology in vocal technique would provide information on the terminology, components, and workings of the voice to permit an understanding of practical, every clinical problems and their solutions. The otolaryngologist, speech language pathologist, singing or acting teacher, singer, and actor would have benefit greatly from more extensive study of voice science.

본 논문에서는 원가수와 모창가수를 구분하는 방법과 여기에 사용되는 특징 추출 방법을 제안한다. 구분 방법은 컴퓨터에게 원가수의 원곡 음원을 학습시킨 후 원가수와 모창가수 음원 5개를 비교하여 가장 유사도가 높은 것을 원가수로 분류한다. 특징 추출은 MFCC 를 사용하는데 파라메터인 주파수 대역과 윈도우 사이즈에 따라 성능이 달라지므로, 파라메터 선택을 위해 30곡의 테스트 셋을 구성하여 실험을 실시하였다.

Vocal strain occur chiefly in those whose occupations professional singers, teachers, actors, and so on. Continuous vocal strain may perpetuate and aggravate the condition and lead to formation of established vocal nodules. The nodes are at first red and soft. These fresh nodes are well responded by chewing method without surgery. Recently the author experienced three cases of singers nodule (one male professional classic singer, one female pop singer, one male teacher) treated by chewing method. The purpose of this paper is to discuss principles and methods of chewing with literature review.

This paper presents a design of a multi-sensor data fusion filter for a Flight Test System. The multi-sensor data consist of positional information of the target from radars and a telemetry system. The data fusion filter has a structure of a federated Kalman filter and is based on the Singer dynamic target model. It consists of dedicated local filter for each sensor, generally operating in parallel, plus a master fusion filter. A fault detection and correction algorithms are included in the local filter for treating bad measurements and sensor faults. The data fusion is carried out in the fusion filter by using maximum likelihood estimation algorithm. The performance of the designed fusion filter is verified by using both simulation data and real data.

Which will have a greater impact on life, love or art? We will focus on Hyang-ryun An, a genius singer. There was a genius singer who was recognized by many people in the world of Korean music. It is said that genius is short-lived, and so is the case of Hyang-ryun An. However, it is a pity that her short life was not caused by artistic anguish and conflict, but by her miserable love. For the poor artist, the patron was a force to sustain her artistic career, but for her, love with the person who fit her will was more important. Although poor and troubled, she wanted a fiery love that shared her temperament. Therefore, in the case of Hyang-ryun An, art was long, but love had a terribly short and deadly power. In the end, a love that goes astray drops a genius artist, dangerous love became the triumph of permanent immutable art.
