모바일 IP 네트워크를 위한 액티브 라우팅 매커니즘 (Active Routing Mechanism for Mobile IP Network)

  • As mobile IP has been suggested only to support mobility of mobile station(MS) by which it dose nothing but guarantee MS's new connection to the network, it is for nothing in Quality of Service(QoS) after handoff of MS. QoS is very important factor in mobile IP network to provide multimedia applications and real-time services in mobile environment, and it is closely related to handoff delay Therefore as a main issue in mobile IP research area, handoff delay problem is actively studied to guarantee and promote QoS. In this paper, in order to resolve such a problem, we suggest Simple Network Management Network(SNMP) information-based routing that adds keyword management method to information-based routing in active network, and then propose QoS controlled handoff by SNMP information-based routing. After setting up routing convergence time, modeling of suggested method and existing handoff method is followed in order to evaluate the simulations that are carried out with NS-2. The result of simulation show the improvement of handoff delay, and consequently it turns off the QoS has been improved considerably.

  • 데이터 저장장치는 서버의 내부나 근처에 있는 것으로 인식되어 왔으나 네트워크 기술의 발달로 저장장치 시스템은 주 전산기와 원거리에 떨어져 존재할 수 있게 되었다. 인터넷 시대에 데이터 량의 폭발적인 증가는 데이터를 저장하는 시스템과 이를 전송하는 시스템의 균형 있는 발전을 요구하고 있으며 SAN(Storage Area Network)이나 NAS(Network Attached Storage)은 이러한 요구를 반영하고 있다. 저장장치로부터 최적의 성능을 도출하기 위해서 복잡한 저장 네트워크의 용량과 한계를 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 파악된 데이터는 성능 조율의 기초가 되고 저장장치의 구매 시점을 결정하는데 사용될 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 저장 네트워크 시스템의 큐잉 네트워크를 통한 분석적 모델을 제시한 다음, 이의 시뮬레이션하여 분석적 모델이 정당하다는 것을 입증한다.

LIN 프로토콜 시간 모델링 및 메시지 응답 시간 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Timing Modeling and Response Time Analysis in LIN Based Network System)

  • In this paper, a mathematical model and a simulation method for the response time analysis of Local Interconnect Network(LIN) based network systems are proposed. Network-induced delays in a network based control system can vary widely according to the transmission time of message and the overhead time of transmission. Therefore, in order to design a distributed control system using LIN network, a method to predict and verify the timing behavior of LIN protocol is required at the network design phase. Furthermore, a simulation environment based on a timing model of LIN protocol is beneficial to predict the timing behavior of LIN. The model equation is formulated with six timing parameters deduced from timing properties of LIN specification. Additionally, LIN conformance test equations to verify LIN device driver are derived with timing constraints of the parameters. The proposed model equation and simulation method are validated with a result that is measured at real LIN based network system.

  • 군사분야에서 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션의 활용은 이미 수십년전부터 이루어지고 있다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해서 실제전투자산을 가동하지 않고 실전과 같은 전투경험을 부여하고 있다. 이러한 시뮬레이션이 실제와 똑같은 환경을 구축하기 위해서는 페더레이트(federate)간의 연동(federation)이 네트워크 상에서 잘 수행되어야 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 전장 데이터(이하 액티브 패킷)의 신속한 전달을 필요로 하는 긴급한 실제상황과 유사한 전장공간을 구축할 수 있도록 액티브네트워크 상에서의 동적기술(혹은 액티브 네트워크 기술)을 이용해 페더레이트(혹은 액티브 노드) 간의 효율적인 트래픽처리가 가능한 가상 전장 환경을 구성하고, 이에 대한 유효성을 모의실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

This algorithm has two main advantages: higher accuracy and a too stable learning process. In addition, it can be used as a good classifier in pattern recognition.

  • 본 논문에서 뉴럴 네트워크를 활용하여 포아즌 볼츠만 방정식을 푸는 방법을 소개하려 한다. 기존의 유한요소방법을 사용하여 샘플을 생성하고, 생성된 샘플을 이용하여 뉴럴 네트워크를 훈련시킨다. 결과적으로 얻어진 뉴럴 네트워크의 성능을 소개한다.

  • Robot system development consists of several sub-tasks such as layout design, motion planing, and sensor programming etc. In general, on-line programming and debugging for such tasks demands burdensome time and labor costs, which motivates an off-line graphic simulation system. MSRS(Microsoft Robotics Studio) released in recent years is an appropriate tool for the graphic simulation system since it supports CCR(Concurrency and Coordination Runtime), DSS(Decentralized System Services), and dynamics simulation based on PhysX and graphic animation as well. In this paper, we developed an MSRS based network simulation system for quadruped walking robots, which controls virtual 3D graphic robots existing in remote side through internet.

Simulation Study for Performance Measures of Resources in a Port Container Terminal

  • In order to measure the performance of resources in a port container terminal, we conducted a state transition network simulation to model various equipment processes. The processes that container cranes and transfer cranes perform are idle, wait, move, and work. Vehicles perform idle, wait, empty travel, and full travel. Because cranes, vehicles, and vessels are movable entities and all equipment is classified as either a customer or server, we separated the various stages of the process based upon the state transition network To validate the simulation results, a real system was used to illustrate the use of various measurements using the state transition network.

Control validation of Peugeot 3∞8 HYbrid4 Vehicle Using a Reduced-scale Power HIL Simulation

  • The new engineering challenges lead to a control of a vehicle more and more complex. To tackle this issue, Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) simulation is used in the development of real-time embedded systems. In this paper, the control of a double parallel hybrid vehicle is validated using a reduced power HIL simulation. A graphical description is used in order to organize the emulation and control. Some experimental results of a versatile testbed are given for the Peugeot $3{\infty}8$ HYbrid4.
