Background: The purpose of this study is to investigate the needs for wound care services in the elderly care institutions by analyzing hospital-based home care nursing in select facilities in Korea. Methods: A total of 92 staffs at the elderly care institutions, located throughout the country, completed self-report questionnaires between February 1 and November 31, 2009. SPSS ver. 17.0 was used for data analysis, regarding frequency and chi square. The 5% level of significance was the critical level for acceptance of the study's hypotheses. Results: Results were as follows; group A and group B were rated as 'high' and 'very high', respectively, in care of simple pressure ulcer, care of complicated pressure ulcer, stitch out, care of simple surgical wound, ostomy care, complicated ostomy care, simple dressing and complicated dressing. Conclusion: Political decisions intended to promote visits by hospital- based home care nurses to the elderly care institutions would be a prudent course.

Purpose: This is a simple survey for discussion about cost analysis methodological issues in home care nursing service studies. Method: The subject of this study were articles published in Korea from 1961 to August, 2002, and searched by key word 'cost' and 'nursing' from various DB(National Assembly Library, The National Library of Korea, RICH etc). Finally, 13 articles were collected. Result: 1) The major type of cost analysis studies was a cost comparison or a simple cost study. 2) The important methodological weaknesses were as followers; (1) few studies were suggested cost analysis framework or analytic perspective, (2) it ,was not enough to describe for basis of selection of cost/effectiveness items, (3) few studies were done by sensitivity analysis. Conclusion: These above results will be used to develop a more proper cost analysis methodological framework in home care nursing services and also to contribute as a guideline for further studies.

Home meal replacements (HMR) are kinds of convenient foods as cooked or semi-cooked foods, which are produced outside of home, to eat directly or after simple cooking in substitution for traditional home meals. Recently the market size for HMR is expanding rapidly around the world due to the changes of global consumer trends, growth of single-person household, increase in economic participation of women, aging population, and so on. The Europe takes over 52.4% of the global market share for HMR in global HMR market, and North America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa-Middle East are following. The most popular HMR products in US and Europe are frozen foods, whereas the market share of chilled products in Asia including Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam are much higher than that in US and Europe. Currently, the trends in HMR is focus on the expansion of the list of products that replace for meals with simple cooking, but it is expected that nutrition-enforced HMR product for aged persons or patients who live alone are requested for the further growth of the HMR market.

The purpose of this study is to observe the meaning of Minimalism and the characteristics in modem fashion design. The Minimalism appeared in 1960's has affect on fashion design which are simple miniskirt or Courrage look of those days. It leads a fashion system to the simple style goes with the life style of modem persons although the characteristics are somewhat different the styles in 1960's with those of 1990's. Minimal style is not just simple style but abbriviate expression constrained at the minimum. The styles appeared to be an undecorated simple line which are a sleeveless onepiece, a simple suit with no pocket and no collar and narrow shoulder. Colors are monochrome coordination and pursue a simplicity which is monotone variation. Patterns also appeared to be a geometric or abstract pattern for example check and stripe, which intend to minimum expression. Matirials are hightech glossy coating textures which have a futuristic image. In conclusion, the Minimalism in 1990's appeared to be a post-minimalism associated with postmodernism and a hightech-minimal under the technology development.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was exploring current status of having home page on the hospitals which have more than 500 beds and analyzing web site on the Nursing Department among them. Method : Cases under analyzing were 92 hospitals which have their own home pages. And then, content analysis with 33 cases was used to evaluate web site of Nursing Department. Results : 1. There are 85(92.4%) home pages in the hospitals among 92 hospitals. 2. There are 33(35.9%) web pages on the Nursing Home page in the 85 hospitals which has hospital home pages. 3. The contents of web pages were 'Introduction of Nursing Department' (78.8% of Nursing Department), 'Home health care'(39.4%), 'Areas of Nursing department'(36.4%), 'Educational Opportunities'(36.4%), 'Research activities'(30.3%), 'Interaction'(27.3%), 'E-mail'(18.2%), 'Information providing to consumer'(15.2%), 'Hospice'(15.2%), 'Hot line, consultation'(12.1%) respectively. Conclusion : The results showed that most web sites of Nursing Department were consist of simple contents with simple purpose. Therefore, in this informational world, Nursing Departments have to try using internet marketing with well developed client centered web site.

We have developed a new remote-configurable firewall system that provides secure and easy-to-use access to home-network appliances such as network cameras, PVRs, and home file servers, through the internet. With a simple web browser operation, remote users can dynamically open and close the firewall of the home gateway. The firewall rule creation is based on an authentication of the remote client, and thus only packets from the authorized client can pass through the firewall, we analyses the sorority design for home gateway in ubiquitous surroundings.

In this Paper telemetering system for home automation is Proposed and implemented. Proposed and developed systems are composed with a home server and a few clients which send metering data of gas electric power water and home security to home server using power line communication. Management computer located in office of apartment complex collects all kinds of measured home data from each home server with multi drop communication by UDP Protocol A simple ASK method is used for power line communication Collected data from each home can be used for issuing the bill of each house and web service. The experiments were carried out under laboratory environment using various kinds of electric home appliances to ascertain the performance.

본 논문에서는 Home Phoneline Neworking Aliance(Home PNA) 장치에 연결된 많은 가입자들로부터 야기될수 있는 대역폭 서비스 불균형 현상을 해결하고 이 장비를 이용하는 가입자들을 관리하기 위한 웹 기반 Home PNA 장치 관리시스템을 구현하였다. Simple-Net-work Managment Protocol(SNMP) 를 탑대한 Home PNA장치를 관리하기 위해서 관리항목을 Muti Dewling Unit(MDU) 장비으 Management Information Base(MB)로 부터 추출한 MIB 오브젝트를 이용하여 시스템관리, 포트관리, 성능관리, 장애관리로 분류하였다. 시스템관리는 개별 MDU 장비에 대해 구성정보를 제공하고, 포트관리는 현재 가입되어 있는 가입자에 대한 현황정보를 제공하고 비인가 가입자에 대한 필터링을 수행한다 그리고 성능관리는 트렁크 라인과 가입자 라인의 트랙픽 정보를 제공한다. 마지막으로 장애관리는 예외 상황에 대한 장애로그 및 trap 메시지를 제공한다. 구현된 시스템의 운영성을 시험하기 위하여 실제 네트워크에서 그 동작성을 검증하였다.

This paper describes the design and implementation of a wireless home network system using Home Network Control Protocol (HNCP) called the wireless HNCP home network system. For wireless interfaces of HNCP, IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.15.4 standard protocols are considered. With the implementation of the wireless HNCP home network system, a simple analysis about coexistence between IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.15.4 is achieved. Through the implemented wireless HNCP home network system and the analytical results about the coexistence between both two different wireless protocols, the feasibility of the wireless HNCP home network system is shown.

본 논문은 홈 네트워크 구축에 있어서 저속의 PLC(Power Line Communication) 통신기술을 활용하여 지능형 홈 네트워크 시스템을 구축하였으며, UPnP 브릿지를 통하여 TCP/IP 기반의 원격 제어 및 모니터링 시스템을 설계하였다. 또한, 지능형 홈 네트워크 내부의 제어 모듈에 대한 통신은 저속 저력선 기반의 SCP( Simple Control Protocol)을 설계하여 각 장치들 사이를 연결하여 제어 할 수 있도록 구현 하였다. PLC 기반의 지능형 홈 네트워크 내부에 새로운 UPnP 장치가 연결 되었을 때는 등록된 UPnP 장치의 정보에 따라 UPnP 브릿지를 통하여 장치를 모니터링 하도록 기능을 구현하였다. 전력선 통신 기반의 장치 제어 및 각 장치에 대한 UPnP 장치로의 구현은 TCP/IP 기반의 원격 제어 및 장치 관리가 효율적이며, 홈 네트워크상의 다양한 장치에 대한 장치 정보를 쉽게 모니터링 하고 관리할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다.
