  • For a similar price signal to local consumer, a regional clustering is important that can transfer a equal sign to the bus which has each different price on the basis of bus. If you take LMP and local information this method into consideration at the same time, and you give weight on neither one side, buses on a borderline can move on arbitrary. For solving this problem, in this paper will propose a clustering method to have applied new concept called 'electric distance'.

  • In this paper, a battery charger is introduced for an interleaved DC-DC converter with an LCLC filter. To improve the overall performance of the DC-DC converter for battery charger, a method is proposed. First, the structure of the system is presented. Second, an LC filter is compared to an LCLC filter in terms of the response characteristics and size. Third, the small-signal model of a bidirectional DC-DC converter using a state-space averaging method and the required transfer functions are introduced. Next, the frequency characteristics of the converter are discussed. Finally, the simulation and experimental results are analyzed to verify the proposed state space of the bidirectional converter.

  • This paper describes a new method of stability evaluation for an estimated impulse response of a plant. It is difficult for the conventional stability evaluation equation to be used in an adaptive feedforward control system which uses an immeasurable acoustic transfer system of a real plant, because the equation requires an exact true impulse response of the plant. Therefore, the usefulness of the conventional equation is limited in a computer simulation. The proposed method is applicable to not only a computer simulation but also a real feedforward adaptive control system. It is found that the system is stable when the value of misadjustment is below -10 dB through computer simulations and experiments. And also, it is proved that the error signal is stable through the verification using filtered reference and filtered error LMS methods.

  • This paper presents a study on the LD Pump laser welded heat transfer and distortion analysis by using finite element method. In the production processing, ferrule and saddle of LD Pump in light-wave communication system are welded by multi mode Nd-YAG laser. Thus distortion happens during laser-welded packaging, and it makes an error of detecting the light signal translated through optical fiber in LD Pump. These parts experience thermal and mechanical hysteresis during heating and cooling process come from laser welding. The amount of final displacement is predicted using the finite element method. And the optimal shape is decided by using the result of pre-analysis.

  • It is known that bogie frame must have sufficient stiffness for car body and passenger weight and transfer traction and braking force, and as of today most studies and verifications are restricted to static and fatigue analysis for force acted on bogie frame. Bogie frame is mounted with equipments to control the signal, traction and so on, this equipment's behavior is subjected to vibration mode occurs on running condition. If the resonance occurs on this equipment, the possibility of crack occurrence on bracket connected with equipment and bogie frame will be increased. In this paper, the method of vibration strength verification for bracket attached on bogie frame will be introduced by using frequency response method.

  • In this paper, we introduce an implementation method of the CBS (Cycle Base Simulator), which describes the operation of a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) at a pipeline cycle level. The CBS is coded with C++, and is verified by comparing the results from the CBS and HDL simulation of the DSP with the various test vectors and application programs. The CBS shows the data about the internal registers, status flags, data bus, address bus, input and output pin of the DSP, and also the control signals at each pipeline cycle. The developed CBS can be used in evaluating the performance of the target DSP before the RTL(Register Transfer Level) coding as well as a reference for the RTL level design.

  • Photovoltaic systems normally use a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique to continuously deliver the highest possible power to the load when variations in the insolation and temperature occur. A simple method of tracking the maximum power points (MPPs) and forcing the boost converter system to operate close to these Points is presented through deriving small-signal model and transfer function of boost converter. This paper aims at modeling boost converter including equivalent series resistance of input reservoir capacitor by state-space-averaging method and PWM switch model. In the future, properly designed controller for compensation will be constructed in real system for maximum photovoltaic power tracking control.

  • In this paper, the decoupling H(sub)$\infty$ controller which minimizes the maximum energy in the output signal is designed to reduce the coupling properties between the input/output variables which make it difficult to control a system efficiently. The state-space formulas corresponding to the existing transfer matrix formulas of the controller are derived for computational efficiency. And for a given decoupling $H_{\infty}$ problem, an efficient method are sought to find the controller coefficients through the LMI(Linear Matrix Inequalities) method by which the problem is formulated into a convex optimization problem.

  • The aim of this paper is to design and implement a new ECG signal monitoring and analysis method for the home care of elderly persons or patients, using wireless sensor network (WSN) technology. The wireless technology for home-care purpose gives new possibilities for monitoring of vital parameter with wearable biomedical sensors and will give the patient freedom to be mobile and still be under continuously monitoring. Developed platform for portable real-time analysis of ECG signals can be used as an advanced diagnosis and alarming system. The ECG features are used to detect life-threatening arrhythmias, with an emphasis on the software for analyzing the P-wave, QRS complex, and T-wave in ECG signals at server after receiving data from base station. Based on abnormal ECG activity, the server transfer diagnostic results and alarm conditions to a doctor's PDA. Doctor can diagnose the patients who have survived from arrhythmia diseases.
