Mechanical characteristics + differential settlement of CFG pile and cement-soil compacted pile about composite foundation under train load

  • In recent years, the stability, safety and comfort of trains has received increased attention. The mechanical characteristics and differential settlement of the foundation are the main problems studied in high-speed railway research. The mechanical characteristics and differential settlement of the foundation are greatly affected by the ground treatment. Additionally, the effects of train load and earthquakes have a great impact. The dynamic action of the train will increase the vibration acceleration of the foundation and increase the cumulative deformation, and the earthquake action will affect the stability of the substructure. Earthquakes have an important practical significance for the dynamic analysis of the railway operation stage; therefore, considering the impact of earthquakes on the railway substructure stability has engineering significance. In this paper, finite element model of the CFG (Cement Fly-ash Gravel) pile + cement-soil compacted pile about composite foundation is established, and manual numerical incentive method is selected as the simulation principle. The mechanical characteristics and differential settlement of CFG pile + cement-soil compacted pile about composite foundation under train load are studied. The results show: under the train load, the neutral point of the side friction about CFG pile is located at nearly 7/8 of the pile length; the vertical dynamic stress-time history curves of the cement-soil compacted pile, CFG pile and soil between piles are all regular serrated shape, the vertical dynamic stress of CFG pile changes greatly, but the vertical dynamic stress of cement-soil compacted pile and soil between piles does not change much; the vertical displacement of CFG pile, cement-soil compacted pile and soil between piles change very little.

Q6, Q10 어린이 인체모형의 상해치 연구 (Injury Study for Q6 and Q10 Child Dummies)

  • The Child Occupant Safety Assessment was first introduced and carried out by Euro NCAP in 2003, with the goal of ensuring manufacturers to develop safe vehicles for passengers of all ages; the objective was to evaluate the safety and protection offered by different Child Restraint Systems (CRS) in the event of a crash. In 2013, the formerly used P child dummy series was replaced by newer and more biofidelic Q1.5 and Q3 child dummies, representing 1.5 and 3 year old children respectively. The frontal and side impact dynamic performances of the Q1.5 and Q3 were tested within all classes of vehicles assessed by Euro NCAP at the time. As an extension to that initiative, Q6 and Q10 child dummies were later developed representing children of 6 and 10 years old. Since the protection of larger children during vehicle crashes relies greatly on the interaction of vehicle restraint systems such as seat belt and the CRS, instrumented Q6 and Q10 dummies will be used to assess the protection offered in the event of front and side impact crashes. In this paper, we focused on injury criteria of Q6 and Q10 child dummies at 64 kph 40% offset frontal crash test. The whole procedure was designed with DFSS analysis. The full vehicle sled test results of both dummies were conducted with different restraint systems settled through previous sled test. It showed that several injury criteria and image data were collected as the result of the full vehicle sled test. Based on the results of these investigations, this paper describes which factor is most important and combination shows the best performance when evaluating rear seat occupant protection for Q6 and Q10 child dummies.

도로건설사업 시 지형 훼손 최소화를 위한 절·성토 높이 기준 연구 (A Study on the Standard of Cutting and Filling Height to Minimize Topographical Damage in Road Side Construction)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 경기도 도로건설사업의 환경영향평가서를 대상으로 도로 건설시 절 성토 높이와 비탈면 높이와의 관계를 분석하고, 도로 건설사업 시 지형적 훼손을 최소화할 수 있는 합리적인 비탈면 높이 기준을 제시하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 도로건설사업 환경영향평가서 내 비탈면 높이와 관련된 전문가 의견이 제시된 44개의 사례를 검토하고, 그 중에서 절 성토고 높이에 관해 언급된 23개의 사례를 추출하여 분석에 활용하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 환경영향평가서 상에 제시된 대부분의 절 성토 높이 및 비탈면 높이는 기준 높이인 20~30m(성토 높이), 그리고 10~15m(절토 높이)를 초과하고 있으며, 도로변의 절 성토 높이가 비탈면의 높이와 높은 상관관계가 있다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 그리고 회귀분석 결과에 따르면 각각의 절 성토 높이는 절토 높이의 경우 25.33~33.23m, 성토 높이의 경우 14.56~18.08m로 나타났으며, 이러한 높이 기준은 일반적인 높이 기준보다 높은 것으로 나타나, 향후 환경영향평가서 검토 시에 충분히 고려되어야할 사항으로 판단된다. 본 연구는 환경영향평가서에 제시된 절 성토 높이 및 비탈면 높이만을 고려하고 있어, 실제 제안된 높이가 지형 훼손을 최소화할 수 있는지에 대한 검증은 불가능하였으며, 따라서 본 연구에서 제시된 높이 기준을 바탕으로 비탈면 높이에 대한 친환경성 검증을 위한 심층적인 연구가 진행될 필요가 있다.

보험진료체계 개편이 의료기관 종별 환자분포에 미친 영향 분석 -3차 의료기관, 종합병원, 병원, 의원을 중심으로- (Introducing the Insurance Health Care Delivery System and Its Impact on Patients Distribution of Medical Service Organizations)

  • The Korean government achieved the universal coverage of health insurance in July 1989, and concomitantly introduced a new measure of regulated health care delivery system in using medical care. There are three reasons why the government took the new health care delivery system. Firstly, there was ample room for improving the allocative efficiency in the use of medical facilities. And the second one was to constrain the dramatic increase of medical demand under health insurance. Thirdly, and the most important reason was to alleviate the patient crowdedness in big general hospitals, particularly tertiary hospitals. There are essentially two different ways to control the use of health care : one is to cut the demand for health care, and the other to regulate behaviors of providers through the use of incentives/disincentives, demand-side approach or supply-side approach. The objective of this study is to examine whether or not medical care utilization behaviors under health insurance scheme have been changed among medical facilities such as clinic, hospital, general hospital and tertiary hospital in comparison with those before and after the introduction, particularly whether the patient crowdedness in tertiary hospitals has been alleviated or not. In order to conduct this study, the insurance claim data during the period of January 1989 and July 1992 were analyzed by focusing on diagnosis of both inpatients and outpatients, and especially the fifteen most frequent diseases in ambulatory care and the seven most frequent diseases in hospitalizatio. In addition, the same analyses were made on the changes in medical care utilization by specialty department. This was because the five departments, such as family medicine, ENT, eye, dermatology and rehabilitation, were exempted from applying the regulated health care delivery system in tertiary hospitals. The study revealed that a remarkable alleviation effect in the crowdness was noted for tertiary hospitals. This effect was most conspicuous for the most frequent mild diseases of both inpatient and outpatient care. For example, the fifteen most frequent OPD care at tertiary facilities have decreased as much as by 40%, of which 34% belonged to the cut in initial visits. Meanwhile, the proportion of those who used general hospitals and private practitioner's clinics have increased due to the shift of patients. The cases from the five special departments were also decreased, but not so much as other departments. A problem was noted that, as time passed by, the decreasing tendencies of crowdness at tertiary hospitals due to the regulated system became slightly smaller. Therefore, through complementary remedies are needed for the future implementation.

MasS(Mobility as a Service)의 적정요금할인 수준 분석 - 통행시간 및 비용변화를 중심으로 - (Determining Fare Discount Level for MaaS Implementation - Based on Time and Cost Changes -)

  • 대도시화 및 자동차의 급격한 증가에 따라 발생하는 교통문제를 해결하기 위한 대안으로 Mobility as a Service(이하 Maas)의 개념이 도입되고 있으며, 유럽을 중심으로 관련한 연구와 파일럿 프로그램 등이 추진 및 운영되고 있다. 그러나 국내의 경우 MaaS의 개념 및 도입에 대한 정성적 연구가 주로 수행되고 있으나 도입을 위한 실증적 분석연구는 미흡한 실정이다. MaaS는 다양한 교통정보를 활용해 개인별로 최적화된 이동계획을 제공하여 교통수단의 대기 시간을 줄이고 이용수요를 증가시키며 요금을 일정 수준 할인해도 수입을 줄지 않는다는 특징이 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 수도권에서 MaaS의 도입으로 이동수단의 통행시간 및 비용이 변하면 이용수요 및 수입금에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 더 나아가 도입 타당성을 확보하기 위한 적정 요금 할인율 수준을 도출하는데 있다. 분석을 위해 KTDB의 전국 여객 기종점 통행실태 조사 전수화 자료를 활용하였고, 점진적 로짓모형을 활용해 MaaS 시행 전후 수담분담률 및 수입금을 산출하였으며 최적화를 통해 적정 할인율을 산정하였다. 분석결과, 통행비용 및 통행 시간 감소 시 각각 비승용차 수단으로 전환수요가 발생하는 것으로 분석되었으며, 통행비용에 비해 통행시간 감소에 따른 이용수요 증진효과가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 또한 통행시간 감축으로 인한 수입금 증가로 인해 손실이 발생하지 않는 최적 요금할인율 수준이 2.56%로 도출되었다. MaaS는 개인화된 교통정보를 활용하여 통행시간 감소 및 수요 증진 등 긍정적인 효과를 보이며, 현 정책 대비 대중교통 수요증진 측면에서 보다 높은 경쟁력을 확보 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

낙동강 하구 지형변화 예측 및 외력조건에 따른 기여도 분석 (Prediction of Topographic Change in the Estuary of Nakdong River and Analysis of Its Contribution by External Force Condition)

  • 낙동강 하구의 지형변화 메커니즘을 파악하는 것은 하구의 관리방안과 처리방법 연구에 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 낙동강 하구의 지형변화에 관여하는 강우, 하천유량, 유사량과 같은 육역으로부터 영향과 조석, 조류, 파랑, 표층퇴적물 등과 같은 해역으로부터의 영향을 조사 분석하였다. 분석된 자료에 근거하여 지형변화 실험을 수행하고, 지형변화와 외력조건별 기여도를 분석하였다. 수치실험 결과 지형변화는 하굿둑 방류 영향을 직접적으로 받는 수로부를 중심으로 침식이, 간접 영향권인 간석지를 중심으로 퇴적이 우세하게 나타났다. 수로부를 따라 이동되는 퇴적물이 파랑에 의해 분급, 배분되면서 울타리선 전면부에는 퇴적이 우세하였다. 지형변화 실험결과인 퇴적 우세현상과 비교하여, 외력조건별로 침식의 기여도가 크게 나타나고 있으나 각 외력조건의 복합적인 영향은 퇴적이 우세하게 나타나고 있다. 따라서, 낙동강 하구의 지형변화는 여러 복합적인 외력인자의 결과로 판단된다. 또한, 각 외력조건별 영향은 구역별로 상이한 기여도를 보이므로 하구관리방안 수립시 이러한 결과를 고려해야 하고, 반드시 복합적인 상호작용의 결과로 이해하고 있어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

부동산정책이 부동산가격에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 조세정책과 금융정책 중심으로 (A Study on the Effect of Real Estate Policy on Real Estate Price: Focusing on Tax Policy and Financial Policy)

  • 본 연구에서는 부동산 정책, 조세정책, 금융정책, 규제지수에대한 이론적고찰과 선행연구를 살펴보고 전국의 2014년1월부터 2021년 12월 까지의 월별데이터를 이용하여 조세정책과 금융정책이 부동산가격에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석방법은 단위근 검정과 공적분 검정을 통해 VAR모형을 사용하여 분석하였으며 충격반응분석과 분산분해분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조세규제지수와 금융규제지수는 주택가격에 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 주택가격 상승기에 주택가격 안정을 위하여 규제 일변도의 정책은 효과가 없으며 오히려 거래량 감소 등으로 가격을 상승시키는 부작용이 생긴다. 둘째, 주택담보대출금리는 주택매매가격지수에 음(-)의 효과를 주었다. 즉, 이자율의 상승이 주택가격을 하락시키는 효과가 있다는 의미로 보여진다. 셋째, 양도차액의 상승 즉, 양도소득세의 과세는 주택가격에 양(+)의 효과를 준다. 이는 조세를 매수자에게 전가시키거나 조세부담으로 인해 매각을 보류하는 동결효과로 주택가격을 상승시키는 결과가 나왔다. 넷째, 취득세와 주택담보대출액은 주택가격에 별다른 영향을 미치지 못하였다.

혁신도시 건설에 관한 동태적 분석 (Dynamic Analysis on the Construction of the Innovative City)

  • In Korean context, the innovative cities imply new towns or urban clusters in the Non Capital Regions, all of which would accommodate the relocated Capital based public organizations. The central government-initiated innovative cities have provoked pros and cons towards their effectiveness and efficacy for the balanced territorial development. From a broader prospective, this paper firstly examines the current status quo of the innovative cities. Based on their master plans, it analyzes physical and non physical factors which would exert significant impact on the innovative cities. Secondly, it pays attention to how key factors strengthen or weaken their behavioral patterns in terms of dynamic location and implementation policies of the innovative cities. Using System dynamics approaches, it sets up couples of scenarios, categorizing between supporting and opposing arguments towards the innovative cities. Lastly, after divulging systematic structure of the innovative cities, it proposes a series of practical alternatives which would contribute to minimizing unexpected side effects or unwanted social cost in the long run. In order to guarantee reinforcing structure of the innovative cities, the paper suggests that QOL (quality of life) variables, which would require continuous investment in the social infrastructure, are pivotal in achieving original goals of the innovative cities. Otherwise, the innovative cities would not be innovative per se. In the worst case, they might be degraded into the unpopular ghost towns.

A strategic analysis of stationary radiation portal monitors and mobile detection systems in border monitoring

  • Radiation Portal Monitors (RPMs) are our primary border defense against nuclear smuggling, but are they still the best way to spend limited funds? The purpose of this research is to strategically compare RPM defense at the border with state-side mobile detectors. Limiting the problem to a comparison of two technologies, a decision-maker can prioritize how to best allocate resources, by reinforcing the border with stationary overt RPMs, or by investing in Mobile Radiation Detection Systems (MRDs) which are harder for an adversary to detect but may have other weaknesses. An abstract, symmetric network was studied to understand the impact of initial conditions on a network. An asymmetric network, loosely modeled on a state transportation system, is then examined for the technology that will maximally suppress the adversary's success rate. We conclude that MRDs, which have the advantage of discrete operation, outperform RPMs deployed to a border. We also conclude that MRDs maintain this strategic advantage if they operate with one-tenth the relative efficiency of their stationary counter-parts or better.

RLS-90 및 CRTN 모델에 의한 도로 인접건물에서의 도로소음 영향 예측 및 고찰 (Prediction and Evaluation of the Road Traffic Noise according to the Conditions of Road-side Building Using RLS-90 and CRTN Model)

  • Recently, reduction of road traffic noise in residential buildings has become one of the most important subjects. To reduce the road traffic noise, noise impact assessment by the road traffic prediction model is required before building construction. For reasonable road traffic noise prediction, it is required to analysis of various factors in road traffic prediction models. This paper was studied the road traffic noise propagation factors such as distance from road to building, receiver height, alignment angle of building and reflection coefficient of the building facade by two calculation models, RLS-90 and CRTN. The result showed that noise reduction was generally higher at bottom stories by ground absorption effect. The reflection coefficient of the building facade was affect of additional sound pressure level by facade reflecting. And alignment angle of building at $90^{\circ}$ was performed effective noise reduction better than $0^{\circ}$.
