비철금속의 선삭시 절삭각과 이송량조정에 의한 절삭특성 분석 (Analysis of Cutting Specific in Non-ferrous Metal by Changed rake-angle and feed-rate adjustment at Turning)

  • In the present industry, there are necessary to cut not only iron metals but also non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, plastic and wood(Paulownia). therefore it had been made the studies of non-ferrous metals by many scientists. we hope this kind of study will continue. The purpose of this study is to conduct the basic experiment about influencing of change the side rake angle at turning of non-ferrous metals. As the results, the surface roughnesses were on the increase with a increase of side-rake angle at the case of the plastic, brass, aluminum, and paulownia.

  • The side burrs and shape distortion resulting from the micromachining of an array of V-shape microgrooves in optical components were experimentally invesigated and a simplified model for their formation is proposed. Burr/shpae distortion should be kept to a minimum level since they degrade the characteristics and performance of these parts. The focus of this study is on the influence of depth of cut and workpiece material. The workpiece materials use were brass, bronze and copper. From the obsevation of the chip shape and burr/shape distortion, the proposed model, that the compressive force at the cutting edge causess the ductile uncut chip material to flow plastically outward toward the free surface to result in a burr, was verified.

  • 현대산업사회의 발전에 따라 신호처리 분야에서 디지털필터의 사용이 급격히 증가하고 있으며, 이러한 디지털필터에는 일반적으로 IIR과 FIR 필터가 있다. 그리고, FIR 디지털필터는 구현이 용이하고 선형위상특성을 나타내며, 설계에 있어서 통과대역의 차단주파수 부근에서 깁스 현상에 의해 발생하는 리플을 완화하기 위해 window 함수를 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 window 함수를 설계하여 기존의 Manning, Hamming, Blackman window와 비교하였으며, 판단기준으로 peak side-lobe와 천이특성 둥을 사용하였다.

  • Background: Different genioplasty techniques are applied for the adjustment of chin area deformities such as chin deviation. Results: Thirty patients with simple facial asymmetry due to chin deviation underwent computer-assisted horizontal translational osseous genioplasty. In this technique, a surgical guide was used to cut a bone strip from the side where the chin should be transferred to; then, the same bone strip was used for the filling of the gap that was formed on the opposite side. Conclusion: According to the experience gained from this study, the authors believe that computer-assisted horizontal translational osseous genioplasty is a simple and reliable technique for patients with facial asymmetry due to chin deviation.

  • 본 연구에서는 절삭가공시 생성되는 칩의 형상해석의 일환으로 2차원 절삭시 칩은 절삭날에 수직한 방향으로 공구경사면을 흘러간다는 기본적인 전제조건과 Kluft 등의 칩흐름각 예측에 대한 제안중 노으즈반경(nose radius) 및 기울임각의 영향을 중 첩시키고, 또한 절삭날에 연하여 미변형 칩두께(undeformed chip thickness)가 달라지 는 경우 칩흐름의 세기는 이에 비례한다는 Baart등의 가정을 도입하여 칩흐름각에 대 한 새로운 해석을 시도하였다.

편측 무치악이 백서 교근 근섭유에 미치는 영향에 관한 조직화학적 연구 (A Histochemical Study of the Masseter Muscle Fibers of White Rat with Unilateral Edentulous Jaw)

  • The study of the muscle fiver composition and the muscle fiver type conversion during unilateral edentulous condition was undertaken in the rostral superficial masseter muscle of the whiter rat. 16 4-week-old male white rats weighting approximately 130gm that crowns of left upper and lower molare were cut intentionally, were divided into 4 groups (one control group and 3 experimental groups). After experimental groups were sacrificed by etherization in 6 days($E_1$), 18 days($E_2$) and 36 days($E_3$) separately, samples of the rostral superficial masseter muscle were obtained bilaterally and the proportion of type I, type IIA, type IIB, and type IIC fibers was determined and counted according to their histochemical activity of myosin ATPase (at pH 9.4, pH 4.6, and pH 4.2)and PAD staining. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The rostral superficial masseter muscle of the white rat contained approximately 47.5% type I fiber and 52.5% type II fiber. 2. Type I/ Type II ratio of molar-present side was increased significantly in the group E2 (18 days group) 3. Type IIA fiber was increased at molar-present side and decreased at molar-absent side in experimental groups.

  • The computer-aided performance simulation can reduce periods for development of products and cut down on the cost comparing with former trial-and-error procedures. This study has developed a simulation program for a vehicle thermal management system integrating an engine cooling system and an air conditioning system considering interactions and arrangement of air side heat exchangers such as power steering oil cooler, air-cooled transmission oil cooler, condenser, and radiator. The program may be also used for the system performance analysis according to the configuration of the engine coolant side heat exchangers such as water-cooled transmission oil cooler, EGR cooler, and heater core. Experiments utilizing an environmental wind tunnel has been conducted to assess the performance of the system according to the arrangement of air side heat exchangers. Some modification of the coolant loop layout can enhance the heat core performance up to 7% according to the results of the simulations.

바이올린 브릿지의 음향적 특성 및 SDM 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Acoustical Characteristics of Violin Bridges and SDM Simulation)

  • Violin bridge blank cut from maple wood with good quality has typical pattern of the radial direction in the side edge with minimal dispersion. This experimental study was designed and carried out to examine the effect of the physical and macroscopical characteristics on the compressive creep of violin bridge blank which had been imported from European manufacturer. This research arose from the idea that the maple solid wood with heterogeneous wood density and ray direction in the side edge would have uneven rheological property of violin bridge blank which is supposed to be pressed by the tension of strings. Experimentally, the compressive creep of bridge blank became smaller with the higher density of imported maple wood and showed clear density-dependence for the duration of load under the string tension of 5 kgf. Every bridge blank showed the behavior of primary creep stage(stress stabilization) having logarithmic regression creep curve with high correlation coefficient under the designed stress level. Even though the relationship between compressive creep and ray direction on the side edge of bridge was not so clear contrary to expectation, we could conclude that wood density and ray direction should be the quality decisive factors affecting the acoustical characteristics and performance of the bridge, the core member of violin-family bow instruments.

Study on the analyze brassiere pattern by brand

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the appropriate brassiere pattern for women. Total of 6 brands with same design and 75A, 80A size brassieres(total 12 brassieres) were compared and analyzed for pattern, cup size and patterns. SPSS 10.1 statistic process was used for data analysis. The outcom of this study is summarized as follows. Total length of brassiere by grade were performed smaller than the standard difference 5cm. For 1/2 front cover length, There were no significant differences between 75 and 80. The reason for lower line of wing is shorter than upper line of wing is because side support is cut side ways considering lower line of wing is sewn more toward front than upper line of wing. Even it is same A cup size most cup related sizes become larger according to underbust comparing with cup capacity, they range from 146.67cc to 172.83cc for same A cups. Among same A cups with difference underbust there was average of 26.16cc differences. For relations of material, sewing technology and expansion rate, all 6 brands had zigzag type sewing for upper line tape. For every 0.3cm height, there were $17{\sim}21$ stitches. When urethane mixture is similar expansion rate is higher while number of 1 inch zigzag are high. For elasticity, zigzag stitch expand side ways for more expansion.

지중 박스구조물에 작용하는 토압 (Earth Pressure on the Underground Box Structure)

  • 지하박스구조물을 개착식으로 시공할 때에는 토공을 최소화하여 지반을 굴착하고 구조물을 설치한 후에 되메움하므로 지반굴착면과 구조물사이의 되메움 공간이 크지 않다. 따라서 구조물의 상부슬래브와 외측벽에 작용하는 토압의 크기와 분포형상은 구조물의 거동에 큰 영향을 미치며, 되메움 폭과 굴착면의 형상 및 토피두께 등에 따라 다르다. 본 연구에서는 원지반을 굴착한 후 구조물을 설치하고 잔여 굴착공간을 되메움하여 지하박스 구조물을 건설하는 시공 과정을 FLAC을 이용하여 수치해석하고 그 결과를 Marston-Spangler등의 이론과 silo 이론 및 모형실험 결과와 비교하였다. 결과적으로 상부슬래브에 작용하는 연직토압이 슬래브중앙에서는 토피하중과 같으나 구조물의 가장자리에서는 되메움 폭과 굴착면의 경사 및 토피의 두께 등에 따라 이보다 작거나 커졌고, 외측벽에 작용하는 수평토압은 정지토압보다 작았으며, 깊이에 따라 비선형적으로 증가하였다.
