휴리스틱 탐색기법에 근거한 철도입환진로의 자동결정전략 설계 (Strategies for the Automatic Decision of Railway Shunting Routes Based on the Heuristic Search Method)

  • This paper proposes an expert system which can determine automatically the shunting routes corresponding to the given shunting works by considering totally the train operating environments in the station. The expert system proposes the multiple shunting routes with priority of selection based on heuristic search strategy. Accordingly, system operator can select a shunting route with the safety and efficiency among the those shunting routes. The expert system consists of a main inference engine and a sub inference engine. The main inference engine determines the shunting routes with selection priority using the segment routes obtained from the sub inference engine. The heuristic rules are extracted from operating knowledges of the veteran route operator and station topology. It is implemented in C computer language for the purpose of the implementation of the inference engine using the dynamic memory allocation technique. And, the validity of the builted expert system is proved by a test case for the model station.

  • The testing and evaluating shunting rates of operating substations have become difficult recently due to various factors including increased fault current, limited area of urban substations and construction of substations in mountain location. In this paper, we have analysed the computation and measurement method of shunting currents that be applied grounding system maintenance of power substations. Also, simple and detailed test methods using 70Hz current injection are explained. A computer program is developed for a study on the shunting properties such as grounding impedance and shunting rates of grounding current, and the simulation results are compared with the measurement data to prove validity and effectiveness of the program and measurement method under commercial operation of a GIS type model substation respectively.

  • 외부 회로가 연결된 압전 재료는 외부 회로의 영향으로 진동수에 영향을 받는 강성(stiffness)과 손실 계수(loss factor)를 가지게 된다. 일반적으로 외부 회로는 두 종류로 구별이 된다. 저항만으로 구성된 경우와 저항과 인덕터(inductor)로 구성된 경우이다. 저항만으로 구성된 경우를 RES(resistive shunting)라 하는데, 이 경우는 압전 재료의 물성이 점탄성 물질과 비슷하게 진동수에 영향을 받는다. 그러나 점탄성 물질에 비해서 더 큰 강성을 지니고, 온도에 영향을 덜 받는다. 저항과 인덕터로 구성된 경우를 RSP(resonant circuit shunting)라 하는데, PMD(proof mass damper)와 비슷한 방법으로 구조물의 공진을 최적으로 조절할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 외부 회로와 연결된 압전 재료를 이용하여 복합재 보의 진동을 수동적으로 제어하는 실험을 수행하여 그 결과를 제시하였다.

안전 및 효율성 제고를 위한 입환방식에 열차운전원칙 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improved Safety and Efficiency of Shunting In View of Principles of Train Operation Safety)

  • 정거장 또는 차량기지 구내에서 이루어지는 입환은 국내 관련 법규에서 정의, 구분 및 방법이 명확하게 제시되어 있지 않다. 이로 인하여 입환시 충돌사고가 철도차량운전사고 중 가장 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 따라서 입환 운전시 충돌사고를 줄이면서 효율적인 운영을 위해서는 체계적인 철도차량 안전운전 원칙의 제시가 필요하다. 입환시 충돌사고를 줄이기 위한 연구의 일환으로서, 본 연구에서는 열차운전방식과 입환의 특징을 비교하고, 열차안전운전원칙에 따른 구내운전 안전원칙을 제시하였다. 새로 제안 된 접근 방법은 안전과 효율성의 개선 분석 및 현장 응용 프로그램에서 확인하였다.

Cerebral Venous Thrombosis Complicated by Hemorrhagic Infarction Secondary to Ventriculoperitoneal Shunting

  • While a delayed intracerebral hemorrhage at the site of a ventricular catheter has occasionally been reported in literature, a delayed hemorrhage caused by venous infarction secondary to ventriculoperitoneal shunting has not been previously reported. In the present case, a 68-year-old woman underwent ventriculoperitoneal shunting through a frontal burr hole, and developed a hemorrhagic transformation of venous infarction on the second postoperative day. This massive venous infarction was caused by bipolar coagulation and occlusion of a large paramedian cortical vein in association with atresia of the rostral superior sagittal sinus. Thus, to eliminate the risk of postoperative venous infarction, technical precautions to avoid damaging surface vessels in a burr hole are required under loupe magnification in ventriculoperitoneal shunting.

  • The deterioration of a shunting locomotive was characterized for the lifetime assessment. The locomotive has been used for shunting works in steel making processes, and in this investigation, various types of technical evaluation methods for the locomotive parts were employed to assess the current deterioration status and to provide important clue for lifetime prediction. Unlike other rolling stocks in railway applications, the diesel shunting locomotive is composed of major components such as diesel engine, transmission, gear box, brake system, electronic devices, etc., which cover more than 70 percent of the total price of the locomotive. Therefore, in this paper, each part of major components in the diesel locomotive was analyzed in terms of the degree of deterioration. The lift-cycle-cost (LCC) analysis was performed based on the maintenance and repair history as compared with economical cost to provide the cost-effective prediction, i.e., to assess either repair for reuse or putting the locomotive out of service based on cost-effective calculation.

  • Deterioration analysis was performed on carbody and bogies of a shunting locomotive, which has been used for shunting works in steel making processes. In this investigation, various types of technical evaluation methods for the locomotive were employed to assess the current deterioration status. Corrosion test and nondestructive evaluation (NDE) techniques were employed to demonstrate the wear status of the carbody and bogie parts in the locomotive. Since the locomotive has been working under corrosive environment, the corrosion tests with x-ray analysis for exterior part of the locomotive were conducted to examine the evolution of corrosion reaction, and NDE techniques such as ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and x-ray radiography, were conducted on the carbody and bogies to inspect any possible inherent and/or in-service flaws. In this paper, the degree of deterioration in a shunting locomotive has been presented based on the analysis results.
