Designed and Development of Location Tracking System by The Short-Range Radio Frequency Relay Algorithm (근거리 RF중계알고리즘에 의한 구내 위치추적시스템 연구)

  • We can find easily about researches or technical development that deal with grasping the location of an object with GPS(Global Positioning System) in order to use them as a useful information. Most researches or technical development on application of tracing have been developed for the purpose of tracing objects in broad area as physical distribution or transportation, but recently, there are many researches on tracing materials in premise area as a fork lift, carts, or the equipment of work. In general, a system that utilizes location information of objects needs data communication network to transmit location data and it ensures data communication network by using common networks(SK, LG, KFT) or wireless LAN. However these two methods need monthly payment for the rental fee or require considerable amount of investment for the early stage so it is difficult to use them merely for tracing premise subjects. This study was conducted to build a tracing system for premise area by local area RF relay algorithm with low cost applying RF relay algorithm to local area wireless communication(ZIGBEE, 424MHz, Bluetooth, 900MHz) system in order to supplement these demerits and included relay algorithm, RF locating information terminal, local area RF gab-fillers, a plan for collection server of locating information, and the way of realization as they are needed in this system. I consider that this study would be applicable with flexibility in the industry area that needs tracing solution within a specific area or needs ensuring data communication network, to transmit data in ubiquitous environment, by easier and more rapid way with lower cost.

  • Recently, the management system of wastewater treatment facility has magnified due to the stringent regulations for the protection of the environment, and a sewage treatment plant efficiency and research of the car development are activated in large facilities or industrial park. however, the existing sewerage disposal system and specific water quality monitoring network reliability for real-time transmission of this building is insufficient. In this paper, we proposed a local wireless network design for sludge multi meter data collection and control for measuring the concentration of the sludge efficiently. Also, the collected data over the local wireless network to transmitted to the central monitoring system and accumulate the data in real time to calculate statistics is possible to monitor the status of the sewage treatment facilities. The proposed system uses a short-range wireless networks of IEEE 802.15.4 and configures an IEEE 802.11 network which can monitor real-time status in central system. Also, we install a sludge multimeter and communication network in sewage treatment facilities and confirm the usefulness of the proposed technique by demonstrating its effectiveness.

  • WBAN(Wireless Body Area Network) operating around the human body aims at medical and non-medical service at the same time. and it is the short-range communication technology requiring low-power, various data rate and high reliability. Various studies is performing for IEEE 802.15.4, because IEEE 802.15.4 can provide high compatibility for operate WBAN among communication standard satisfiable these requirements. Meanwhile, in the case of coexisting many IEEE 802.15.4-based WBAN, signal interference and collision are the main cause that is decreasing data reliability. but IEEE 802.15.4 Standard does not consider about coexistence of many networks. so it needs improvement. In this paper, To solve about this problem, identify coexistence problem of IEEE 802.15.4-based WBAN by preliminary experiments. and propose a scheme to mitigate the reliability decrease at multiple coexistence WBAN. The proposed scheme can be classified in two steps. The first step is avoidance to collision on the CFP through improving data transmission. The second step is mitigation collision through converting channel access method. Proposed scheme is verified the performance by performing comparison experiment with Standard-based WBAN.

  • CVO(Commercial Vehicle Operations) of Intelligent Transport Systems is the system to manage effciently cargo distribution as providing at real time the information of cargo location and situation through nS and GPS technology. In this paper, we proposed the Gate Automation System of harbors among AVI/AEI. To implement this system, we use the DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Communication) which adopts an wireless communication between RSE(Road-side Equipment) and OBE(on-Board Equipment) on a vehicle. When constructing the automation gateway system of harbors, the business application ability are reviewed practically and the logistics facilities to be constructed in the near future nay use this paper results according to the international standard and it could help complete integrated logistics system.

  • With the proliferation of intelligent transportation system (ITS) with dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) deployment, there are various applications requiring different throughput and reliability performance. To meet the enhanced throughput requirements in newly generated applications, IEEE 802.11bd is proposed to standardize for support of enhanced throughput and latency, preserving the fairness with previously deployed WLAN V2X devices. One of the main features of IEEE 802.11 bd is 20 MHz transmission to support the high data rate. In this paper, the primary channel selection method is proposed to guarantee the fairness with frame transmissions with 10 MHz bandwith including communications in WLAN V2X devices deployed with IEEE 802.11p. Simulation shows that the proposed channel access method for 20 MHz transmission with primary selection preserves the fairness without the change of channel access method in wide-band transmission.

  • The signal in wireless multi-path channel is affected by fading and ISI because of high data rate transmission, so the signal has the high error rate. The present modulation and demodulation method of DSRC system can not expect sufficient for providing data service over 1 Mbps, so the channel equalization and advanced modulation and demodulation methods are required. OFDM is generally known as an effective technique for high data rate transmission system, since it can prevent ISI by inserting a guard interval. However, a guard interval longer than channel delay spread has to be used in each OFDM symbol period, thus resulting a considerable loss in the efficiency of channel utilization Therefore the equalizer is necessary to cancel ISI to accommodate advanced ITS service with higher bit rate and longer channel delay spread condition In this paper, the channel equalizer for the OFDM -DSRC system was designed and its performance in a multi-path fading environment was evaluated with computer simulation.

  • Intelligent Transport System(ITS) has been studied in various systems, such as road environment information offering, vehicle short-range wireless/wire communication, vehicle collision preventing and pedestrian safety offering systems. Related to this, the USN technology based on the sensing accuracy for motorists and pedestrians safety, the information reliability, the maintenance and convenience for Sensor Network is highlighted. This study uses various sensors to construct USN to the road, and connect it to the developed RSU so it collects the real-time road environment information and offers it to OBU and Traffic Control Surveillance Center with Road Weather Information System. RSU collects roadside information for driver's safety and analyzes it to offer IP and beacon service according to the service priority to OBU & upper layer terminal. In the upper layer terminal it is developed the IP based Settop Box application program to offer the urban traffic information & road environment, and environment sensor error, etc. Finally, RWIS develops the real-time collection of roadside information to complement the driver's safety to the intelligent traffic system, and presents various service modes with technology convergence.

  • Recently, NFC technology of short-range wireless communication using a smart phone to perform personal authentication with the electronic payment has been in the spotlight in various fields. However, the security associated with the personal information and the location information is vulnerable because it is easily fused with the existing mobile services and devices. In this paper, we propose a model for NFC payments help protect personal information and location information of NFC payment systems and services in various fields. Proposed model uses tag-based services in order to protect personal information and position information. The proposed model using the tag-based services is the place to check the various features available information in a simple Tag that can be easily accessed.

  • Recently, automobile traffic systems are evolving toward Intelligent Traffic Systems(ITS) with smart sensor technology and collaboration between traffic systems and external ones. On the contrary, Korean ITS services have little improvement comparing with other communication services. The main causes of this phenomenon are due to already allocation of ITS recommended frequency band to broadcasting services, and also dedication of DSRC frequency band over ISM band resulting in interferences. This paper provides the analysis of current Korean ITS technology status, and two suggestions to activate the ITS industry. First, need to fix the ITS standard combining WAVE and DSRC specifications soon. Second, ITS frequency allocation to complete its standard implementation in near time frame.

  • In this paper, autonomous vehicles of service with existing vehicle accident for the prevention of the vehicle communication technology, self-driving techniques, brakes automatic control technology, artificial intelligence technologies such as well and developed the vehicle accident this occur to death or has been techniques, can prepare various safety cases intended to minimize the injury. In this paper, it is a study to secure safety in autonomous vehicles. This is determined according to spatial factors such as chip signals for general low-power short-range wireless communication and micro road AI. On the other hand, in this paper, the safety of boarding is improved by checking the signal from the electronic chip, up to "recognition of the emotion from residence time in the sensing area" to the biological electronic chip. As a result of demonstrating the reliability of the world countries the world, inducing safety autonomous system of all passengers in terms of safety. Unmanned autonomous vehicle riding and commercialization will lead to AI systems and biochips (Verification), linked IoT on the road in the near future, and the safety technology reliability of the world will be highlighted.
