휴리스틱 알고리즘을 이용한 트림 및 힐링 각도 조절 최적화 (Optimized Trim and Heeling Adjustment by Using Heuristic Algorithm)

  • Many ships in voyage experience weight and buoyancy distribution change by various reasons such as change of sea water density and waves, weather condition, and consumption of fuel, provisions, etc . The weight and buoyancy distribution change can bring the ships out of allowable trim, heeling angle. In these case, the ships should adjust trim and heeling angle by shifting of liquid cargo or ballasting, deballasting of ballast tanks for recovery of initial state or for a stable voyage. But, if the adjustment is performed incorrectly, ship's safety such as longitudinal strength, intact stability, propeller immersion, wide visibility, minimum forward draft cannot be secured correctly. So it is required that the adjustment of trim and heeling angle should be planned not by human operators but by optimization computer algorithm. To make an optimized plan to adjust trim and heeling angle guaranteeing the ship's safety and quickness of process, Uk! combined mechanical analysis and optimization algorithm. The candidate algorithms for the study were heuristic algorithm, meta-heuristic algorithm and uninformed searching algorithm. These are widely used in various kinds of optimization problems. Among them, heuristic algorithm $A^\ast$ was chosen for its optimality. The $A^\ast$ algorithm is then applied for the study. Three core elements of $A^\ast$ Algorithm consists of node, operator, evaluation function were modified and redefined. And we analyzed the $A^\ast$ algorithm by considering cooperation with loading instrument installed in most ships. Finally, the algorithm has been applied to tanker ship's various conditions such as Normal Ballast Condition, Homo Design Condition, Alternate Loading Condition, Also the test results are compared and discussed to confirm the efficiency and the usefulness of the methodology developed the system.

  • Currently for exploring marine resources, After confirming the location of the resources by controlling search equipment and sensor module in research vessel, the method which collects sample of searched resources and analyzes the quality and a contents of the resources in research vessel is been applying. This search method is structure which analyzes an ingredient in ship and decides the quality of the resources. And real-time processing for an effective resources search is been demanding. Therefore in this paper, we have developed a resources identification algorithm that can display the type feature of resources by real-time 3D Graphic.

조선시대의 바람 관측기기인 풍기(風旗)의 연구 (A Study on the Punggi (風旗), Meteorological Instrument Made in the Joseon Dynasty)

  • The Punggi (風旗) is one of the meteorological instruments made in the Joseon Dynasty (朝鮮王朝). Its purpose was to observe the direction of the wind. It is estimated that it started its operation in the $16^{th}$ century at least. But it does not remain in a perfect form, like the Chugugi (測雨器) and the Supyo (水標). The Punggi (風旗) can only be found at old document data, while the stone used to build the Punggi still remains. Since the stone had been named as the Punggi-dae (風旗臺) by 和田雄治 (1917), the name has not been changed until now. The Punggi is currently located in the Gyeongbok-gung (景福宮) and the Changgyeong-gung (昌慶宮). Meantime, there have been several transfers of its position. However, 和田雄治 (1917)'s paper and the "每日新報" (Maeil-Sinbo, 1929) articles have provided new clues. Also, the word 'Hupungso (候風所)' was found in the "朝鮮王朝實錄" (The annals of the Joseon Dynasty) and the "承政院日記" (Daily records of royal secretariat of Joseon dynasty). A designed harbor where the ship was staying was usually considered a special section for wind observations. It is assumed that the Hupungso was in most of the harbors at that time. This paper assumes the Punggi and the Hupungso had a lot of interest in wind observations in the Joseon Dynasty. In this study, we'll look for contained information about the Punggi and the viewpoints about wind during the Joseon Dynasty.

전자파를 이용한 하천수 표면유속 측정 (Velocity Measurement of Stream Water Surface Using Microwave)

  • 하천의 홍수유속을 측정하기 위하여, 전자파를 이용한 물 표면 유속 측정체계를 개발하였다. 현재의 개발단계는 실험용 유속측정체계 수준이다. 전자파 표면유속계는 초고주파(micro-wave) 전자파의 도플러 효과를 이용한다. 이는 전자파의 발진과 안테나를 통한 반사파 수신, 차주파수 신호의 추출로 이루어지는 RF부분과, 차주파수 신호의 A/D변환 및 고속 후리에 변환 등으로 이루어지는 신호처리부로 구성된다. 구성된 유속측정 체계로 교량 아래 유속, 대청 조정지댐 방수로 등에서 측정 실험하였고 선박해양공학 연구센터의 선박 실험용 선형수조에서 검증 실험을 수행하였다. 검증결과 A/D 변환기 제작오류에서 발생된 4% 오차 이외에 측정환경의 문제에서 비롯된 몇 %의 오차가 혼재되어 있음이 분석되었다. 그러나 0.5~3.5 m/s 유속을 측정한 결과, 기준속도와 측정속도간 선형성이 우수하고 홍수 유속 측정에 매우 유용한 장비임이 입증되었다. 향후 소형화, 경량화를 수행하고 바람, 물 표면의 불규칙 유동에 의한 영향을 분석하여 신호처리 방안을 마련하는 재제작 (re-engineering) 과정이 요구된다.

국내 소형 공항의 항공기 월경방지 대책 및 비행절차 수립 연구 (A Study Measures to Prevent Aircraft Crossing and Establish Flight Procedures at Domestic Small Airports)

  • Recently, domestic small airport development plans are being promoted centering on islands, and among them, Baengnyeong Island Airport is located very close to North Korea due to its geographical characteristics. In particular, since it is located in the P-518, which is prohibited airspace, it is essential to configure the arrival/departure flight procedure route similarly to the current ship in terms of securing flight safety. Therefore, in this study, a plan for airport location and facility scale was proposed by focusing on the runway operated for the purpose of aircraft operation through consultations with the Ministry of National Defense. It was proposed to meet the standards of the Airport Facility Act as an airport dedicated to domestic flights for airside facilities such as runway length and direction, target aircraft, landing pad, apron, runway and taxiway width appropriate for the topographical characteristics of Baengnyeong Island. As a result, the flight procedure is generally established as a two-way visual flight, but the 10-way arrival/departure procedure was planned to be changed to an instrument (non-precision) according to the specificity of the region. In addition, a flight procedure was established and presented for safe and systematic operation by reflecting the changes in airport facility size (landing pad, runway end safety area, etc.) following the change in instrument flight procedure in the visual flight procedure.

효율적인 어업실습선의 선교 layout을 위한 당직항해사의 업무특성 분석 (Analysis characteristics of officers' watch-keeping for efficient navigation bridge layout of a fisheries training vessel)

  • This study analyzed characteristics of officers' watch-keeping during fishing operation at the fisheries training ship KAYA (GT: 1,737 tons, Pukyong National University). It observed fishing works of three officers in wheel house of KAYA. The observations were carried out at the fishing ground 45 miles away from east of Jeju from 7 to 8 January 2010. The works and movements of the officers were recorded with three common video cameras and a 4-channel MPEG-4 Triplex DVR. Recorded data of the working circulation was analyzed by using the post-processing method. As a result of the traffic lines, the average (${\pm}S.D$) of working hour (min) and moving frequency (times), distance (m) and speed (m/min) during setting the net was 11.8 (0.9), 43.7 (8.1), 133.9 (35.8) and 10.5 (0.6), respectively. During trawling the net, it was 100, 241 (39.8), 615.7 (194.6) and 5.2 (1.6), respectively. During hauling the net, it was 17.6 (1.4), 41.0 (7.2), 196.9 (37.6) and 10.7 (0.8), respectively. In addition, it has a different tendency of the instrument usage frequency by the fishing works. During setting, the usage priority was CCTV, ECDIS, RPM and pitch controller, net monitor, GPS plotter, chart room, X-band radar, fish finder and public addressor. During trawling, it was CCTV, ECDIS, fish finder, X-band radar, net monitor, chart room, GPS plotter, RPM and pitch controller, auto pilot and steering, interphone, wind speed and direction indicator, No.1. VHF, navigation light control panel and public addressor. During hauling, it was CCTV, RPM and pitch controller, GPS plotter, public addressor, chart room, net monitor, X-band radar, auto pilot and steering and fish finder.

2006년 해사노동협약상 선원 사회보장에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Social Security for Seafarers of Maritime Labour Convention, 2006)

  • 국제노동기구는 2006년 2월23일 해사노동기준에 관하여 그 동안의 협약 및 권고를 가능한 한 최신화 하고 모든 기준을 통합하여 단일의 문서로 된 해사노동협약을 채택하였다. 이 협약은 제4편 규정 제4.5조에 선원에게 적용되는 사회보장에 관하여 규정하고 있다. 규정 제4.1조 선내 및 육상에서의 의료관리, 규정 제4.2조 선박소유자의 책임에 관한 조항도 사회보장과 관련되어 있다. 우리나라가 이 협약을 비준하기 위하여서는, 우선 먼저 국내 관련법령이 협약상 선원 사회보장 요건을 충족할 수 있는지를 검토하고, 불충분한 부분에 대하여는 이를 정비할 필요가 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 협약상 선원의 사회보장에 관한 요건을 수용할 수 있도록 현행 국내 관련 법령과 협약 사이의 차이점을 밝히고, 이 과정에서 도출된 문제점에 관하여 그 해결 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

우리나라 쟁기와 Plow의 산인저항의 관한 비교연구 (A Comparison Test of Eastern and Western Plow in Draft Resistance)

  • Korean Janggi and Western plow to have developed for a long time in the east and west were tested and compared in their draft resistance. The charaderistic of Korean Janggi and plow to be able to make deep plowing, on of the most important factors influeneed the increased yield, were ofserved. The study was undertaken to obtain these basic factors' to device and construct the deep plowing Janggi. The results were as follow; 1. The draft resistance of Korean Janggi far less than that of plow and on the dry field, the influence of soil moisture contant to the draft resistance was larger in the Korean Janggi than in the western plow, but on the rice paddy, there was not differences between them. 2. The plow was more stable than that of Janggi in their operation. 3. The relation ship between the specific draft resistance and plowing depth was shown bygthe carved equation. $$K=Ax+\frac{B}{x}+C$$(K ; specific draft restance, x; plowing depth) A, B, C; Constant controled by soil and instrument factor) 4. Minimam values of the specific draft resistance were as follow; a. On the rice paddy; Korean Janggi; x=$8{\sim}12cm$ $$K=255{\sim}280gr/cm^2$ Western plow; x=$7{\sim}10cm$ $$K=415{\sim}420grc/m^2$$
