Fashion Firm's Utilization of Fashion Information (패션기업의 패션정보 활용)

  • In today's fashion industry, directions for new products and high value added of fashion goods, product changes according to cycles, the shortening of life cycles, added value, planned obsolescence, and presentation is focused on fashion trends that will be selected by many consumers at the point of selling time. Therefore fashion information poses great importance and its weight is growing bigger everyday. Fashion information recognized to be important is reflected practically in the prediction of fashion changes in the fashion industry; especially, it is the first stage of the merchandising process that is the course of new product development. Presently, with some differences according to the size and specialized area of a firm, domestic fashion menufacturers obtain information from sales data of competing brands and their own, market information, consumer information based on primary data, shared fashion trend information given by domestic fashion information providing companies. Firms can not produce differentiated images and product concepts using such shared information. Although the types, importance and reflection of used information vary according to merchandising processes, all experts engaging in the merchandising of fashion products use the same shared information.

IPTV Delivery Architecture in 10G EPONs using ONU-Based Multicast Emulation

  • EPONs are a low cost, high speed solution to the bottleneck problem of broadband access networks. To support point-to-point and shared LAN emulation, EPONs use the multi-point control protocol (MPCP), which uses logical link identification (LLID) forframe tagging and filtering between the OLT and ONUs. In this paper, ONU-based multicast or multiple shared LAN emulation for IPTV services is proposed using logical group identification (LGID). Using ONUbased VLAN services, EPONs can support separate and secure connections between providers and subscribers in a simple manner. Also, differentiated IPTV channel packages can be delivered through EPONs by implementing ONU-based VLAN and IGMP snooping mechanisms.

  • The use of shared electric kickboards that can move quickly within a short distance at a relatively low price is increasing significantly. In this paper, we propose a system for recognizing incorrect parking of an abandoned shared kickboard by applying deep learning-based object recognition technology. In this paper, a model similar to CNN was created separately considering the characteristics of the experimental data, and it was shown that a recognition rate of 60% was obtained through the experiment.

  • As the urbanization progresses, the demand for parking in large cities surges compared with that for parking lots. However, the space for securing a parking lot in a large city is physically limited and a budget problem also arises. Therefore, a shared parking system that can utilize existing parking lots is becoming important. This study was carried out to analyze the parking area efficiently for the residents parking area. As a result of the questionnaire survey, it was the most frequent passage to work / commuting and business purposes. The most important factors in parking were 'Parking charge', 'Walking distance to the destination after parking', 'Parking lot searching time' Approximately 46 % of the respondents were female. As a result of the quantitative analysis of the factors influencing the potential use of the intention to use as a dependent variable, it was analyzed that the policy was effective to reduce the parking fee to less than 500 won per 10 minutes and take about 3-6 minutes to search.

  • This paper presents the design and the implementation of a MissCW(Multi user Interactive System for Synchronous Collaborative Writing). The document model DMDA(Distributed Multimedia Document Architecture) of MissCW consists of the logical structure, presentation style object, and mark object. The windows. The collaborative editor of this system proposes a structure oriented editing mechanism to combine distrbuted objects into one document. The middleware SOM(Shared Object Manager) maintains shared objects consistently and helps application programs use objects efficiently. The infrastructure of this system is a hybrid structure of replicated and centralized architectures, that is to maintain shared objects consistently inside of SOM and to reduce the overhead of network traffic. The central part is a virtual node which corresponds to the Object Controller of SOMwith the SOT(Shared Objet Table).

  • With the increasing need for big data processing, building a shared big data processing platform is important to minimize time and monetary costs. In shared big data processing, multitenancy is a major requirement that needs to be addressed, in order to provide a single isolated personal big data platform for each user, but to share the underlying hardware is shared among users to increase hardware utilization. In this paper, we explore two well-known shared big data processing platform models. One is to use a native Hadoop cluster, and the other is to build a virtual Hadoop cluster for each user. For each model we verified whether it is sufficient to support multi-tenancy. We also present a method to complement unsupported multi-tenancy features in a native Hadoop cluster model. Lastly we built prototype platforms and compared the performance of both models.

  • Recently, many cities around the world introduced and operated shared bicycle system to reduce the traffic and air pollution. Seoul also provides shared bicycle service called as "Ddareungi" since 2015. As the use of shared bicycle increases, the demand for bicycle in each station is also increasing. In addition to the restriction on budget, however, there are managerial issues due to the different demands of each station. Currently, while bicycle rebalancing is used to resolve the huge imbalance of demands among many stations, forecasting uncertain demand at the future is more important problem in practice. In this paper, we develop forecasting model for demand for Seoul shared bicycle using statistical time series analysis and apply our model to the real data. In particular, we apply Holt-Winters method which was used to forecast electricity demand, and perform sensitivity analysis on the parameters that affect on real demand forecasting.

  • Efforts to establish a joint preservation facility for library collection are being discussed by some of regional representative libraries recently. In order for the efficient management and preservation of public library materials and to secure the space necessary for applying new services, there is a high demand for a cooperative shared storage for public libraries. The construction of a cooperative shared storage for public libraries is to minimize the cost of expanding the preservation space for each public library and to provide a pleasant service environment by separating the low-use materials stored in the library. Accordingly, discussions on the construction of a cooperative shared storage for public libraries are being initiated by some representative libraries. This study, in this regard, tried to propose a plan to build a cooperative shared storage for public libraries by a Seoul Metropolitan Library. To this end, it surveyed the estimate size of the collections of public libraries in Seoul and, based on this, proposed the size and strategies for the facility.

  • In this paper, we introduce an efficient energy management using a notion of virtual energy system for shared solar-powered sensor network. Virtual energy system is an abstraction that allows sensor network applications on a node to reserve their own fractions of the shared solar cell and the shared rechargeable battery, hence achieving logically partition of a shared renewable power source. Our results show that our design and implementation are reliable, lightweight and efficient, allowing proper isolation of energy consumption among applications.

  • We propose the improved channel assignment and management methods for an efficient use of traffic channel resource for supporting 12.2 Kbps, 64 Kbps, and 384 Kbps traffic with the different quality of service(QoS) in the radio network controller(RNC) in asynchronous IMT-2000 system. We consider two types of traffic channel block assignments for utilizing the traffic channel efficiently; the Completely Shared(CS) channel assignment and the Partially Dedicated and Partially Shared(PDPS) channel assignment. The former is that all traffic channel blocks are completely shared with all traffic types. The latter is that some traffic channel block is independently assigned to each traffic type and the other blocks are completely shared with some traffic type. We also propose the traffic channel management method which consists of the block and task management step, for efficiently assigning, releasing, and managing the channel resource. Finally, we evaluate the performance through various numerical examples when applying our proposed channel block assignment and resource management methods.
