This paper describes a design of cryptographic processor that implements the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) block cipher algorithm "Rijndael". To achieve high throughput rate, a sub-pipeline stage is inserted into a round transformation block, resulting that two consecutive round functions are simultaneously operated. For area-efficient and low-power implementation, the round transformation block is designed to share the hardware resources for encryption and decryption. An efficient on-the-fly key scheduler is devised to supports the three master-key lengths of 128-b/192-b/256-b, and it generates round keys in the first sub-pipeline stage of each round processing. The Verilog-HDL model of the cryptoprocessor was verified using Xilinx FPGA board and test system. The core synthesized using 0.35-${\mu}m$ CMOS cell library consists of about 25,000 gates. Simulation results show that it has a throughput of about 520-Mbits/sec with 220-MHz clock frequency at 2.5-V supply.

RPersonal area networking technology is becoming increasingly important in enabling useful wireless home applications. For example, Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11b standards are the most commonly deployed technologies for wireless home applications. However, because both standards share the same unlicensed ISM (Industrial, Scientific, Medical) radio spectrum, severe interference is inevitable and performance can be impaired significantly when heterogeneous devices using the two technologies come into close proximity. In this paper, we research Gaussian FSK Bluetooth system, which is an open specification technology for short-range wireless connectivity between electronic devices. In this paper, we analyzes the effects of co-channel interference on the performance of a Gaussian FSK Bluetooth system. Performance criteria used in the study are the signal to interference power ratio (SIR), interference index, and the bit error rate (BER) in the wireless channel. The effect of co-channel interference from various sources on the performance of a Gaussian FSK Bluetooth system is analyzed using an IGA(Impulsive Gaussian Approximation) method, and these quantities are plotted against Eb/No, $\rho$ and SIR for various channel conditions in figures.

The Internet is standing in the spotlight of a new medium of advertisement with explosive growth of market share of electronic commerce, several Internet advertising methods have been implemented. Among them, the banner advertising method is typically being used in the Internet, but the users are not willing to see the banner advertising, moreover that method shows low click rate. Accordingly we propose a new Internet advertising method that makes expose advertising content according to proper text keyword in the article of web pages. During user is reading a article of web page, when user puts mouse pointer over a text keyword, previously specified advertising content is appeared on the web page. The proposed method is based on the keyword advertising, and unlike banner advertising, various shape of images can be applied. Also whole web page could be used for advertising area, and the method does not affect loading delay time of web page.

Due to the continuous increasement of the container cargoes, each container port market has been growing as well. Moreover, the competition among container terminal operators located in the same port is also growing in order to attract more container cargoes. This paper looked into the market structures, market conducts and market performances of container ports in Busan and Shanghai. The index which has been most widely used to measure market structure, the Hirschman-Herfindahl Index (HHI), is computed by squaring each supplier's market share, then adding the squared shares. This paper estimated the market performance as profitability (PCM, ROA), growth (total TEU, rate of the increasement of TEU) and examined the effects of the HHI on the profitability and growth in a container terminal operators in Korea and China. The major findings of this study is that the market structure has effects on market performance in Busan port (total TEU) and Shanghai port (PCM, ROA and total TEU). As a result of analysing this study, market structure has an effect on market performance in Busan and Shanghai port, but the power of influence can be changed by market concentration index and various market conduct of companies.

Wireless sensor networks will be broadly deployed in the real world and widely utilized for various applications. A prerequisite for secure communication among the sensor nodes is that the nodes should share a session key to bootstrap their trust relationship. The open problems are how to verify the identity of communicating nodes and how to minimize any information about the keys disclosed to the other side during key agreement. At any rate, any one of the existing schemes cannot perfectly solve these problems due to some drawbacks. Accordingly, we propose a new pre-distribution scheme with the following merits. First, it supports authentication services. Second, each node can only find some indices of key spaces that are shared with the other side, without revealing unshared key information. Lastly, it substantially improves resilience of network against node capture. Performance and security analyses have proven that our scheme is suitable for sensor networks in terms of performance and security aspects.

The increased number of smart devices leads users to share multimedia contents with others. Smart device users transmit multimedia files using apps. For multimedia file transfer under NAT (Network Address Translator), a lot of apps exploit a server with public IP or short range communication technologies such as WiFi Direct or Bluetooth because smart devices with private IP address cannot communicate each other directly. We first proposed the push service based file transmission scheme without an additional server and distance limitation. Second, for the push service based transmission, we proposed congestion control scheme to adapt transmission rate to the receiver's link bandwidth. Third, we considered bandwidth aware transmission for senders with different bandwidth. We implemented apps to evaluate the proposed scheme, and conducted experiments with smart devices.

Local innovation cities that have recently been being constructed have a large share of the population with highly educated young family with children. There are high demand for children's libraries because of this high percentage of children in the population. In this regard, this study analyzed the economic feasibility of establishing a new children's library in an innovation city as viewed through the case of the C innovation city, where population inflows are increasing recently. In this study, based on a survey, we conducted a cost benefit analysis, as estimating the cost of constructing the library and calculating the benefits from the construction. The economic feasibility was analyzed by calculating the benefit cost ratio, net present value, and internal rate of return.

The global mushroom industry has grown rapidly in recent years in terms of beneficial effects, market value, and demand. India has a wide range of agro-climatic conditions and is largely an agricultural country with a cultivated area of about 4.37 %, generating about 620 million tons of agro waste annually. Mushroom cultivation not only helps recycle agro wastes, but also fills the nutritional gap prevalent among a large population of India. Recently, government industrial policy and creative innovation has promoted research and other endeavors aiming towards the cultivation of mushrooms. Mushroom cultivation in India was initiated in Solan, in the mid-sixties. Mushroom cultivation has been successful in temperate regions of the Himalayas, the Western Ghats, and the hills of northeast India. Recently, many unemployed people have begun to adopt mushroom cultivation as a means of self-employment. It is high time that Indian mushroom cultivators and consumers became aware of the nutritional and medicinal values of cultivated and wild species of mushrooms. The total mushroom production in India between 2010 and 2017 was approximately 0.13 million tons, accounting for a 4.3% increase in the average growth rate of mushrooms per annum. In particular, the total production of white button mushrooms is the highest, with a share of about 73% of total mushroom production. In this review article, we have analyzed the current scenario of the Indian mushroom industry and its contribution to the economic growth of the country.

Purpose - Utilizing a large sample of Korean firms, this study examines international diversification impacts on corporate tax avoidance and whether firms affiliated with large business groups (known in Korean as "chaebol") reinforce the relationship between international diversification and tax avoidance. Design/methodology - This paper hypothesizes that 1) international diversification is likely to increase tax avoidance, 2) the positive effect of international diversification on tax avoidance is likely to be more pronounced for chaebol firms. We examine the hypotheses by using Korean firms listed in the Korean stock market between 2011 and 2016. We employ the number of foreign subsidiaries and the entropy index as proxies for international diversification and CASH ETR and GAAP ETR as proxies for tax avoidance. Findings - Our findings are summarized as follows. First, we have found that as firms are more internationally diversified, tax avoidance increases. It means that international diversification can be employed as a method of reducing the tax burden. Second, firms affiliated with chaebol are strengthened by the positive relation between international diversification and tax avoidance. It is interpreted that chaebol firms have more effective opportunities to reduce taxes than other firms. When entering foreign markets, they can share experience and resources to decrease taxation within the large business group. Originality/value - This study provides empirical evidence regarding the tax effect of international diversification. Unlike prior studies, international diversification is positively related to tax avoidance in Korea. In addition, we present additional evidence on the chaebol effects of international diversification on tax avoidance, in which they have an advantage to reduce taxes using transfer pricing through related party transactions, income shifting to low tax rate countries, and establishing subsidiaries in tax havens.

The emergence of new multipolar world economy along with the predominant growth of emerging economies encourages these emerging countries to internationalize their currencies. Currently the discrepancy between qualification and status of international currency is easily observed, and the emerging market currencies are no doubt underestimated considering their share of the world's economic size and trade volume. This paper studies the determinant factors of currency internationalization for five key currencies (US Dollar, Yen, Euro, Pound, and Swiss Franc). The analysis shows economic size, trade volume, and the stability of price and exchange rate are most important. Based on this result, Chinese Yuan is forecast to become a new international currency in the near future. Therefore, Korea needs to preempt the issue of regional economic integration, and even currency integration, by taking into account the possibility of internationalized Yuan.
