망진(望診)에서 비(鼻) 형태(形態)의 중요성 연구 (Study on Analysis of Nose Shape from the viewpoint of Inspection Diagnosis)

  • There are two methods in inspection diagnosis(望診), the viewing shape(觀形) and the inspecting color(察色). Acquiring proper analysis from viewing shape(觀形) requires several standards of shape that can be compared with. We can identify major defects and flaws of the shape from comparing it with the standards that is defined as very normal shape. Also, It can eventually provide us interpretation of health related meanings of the objective shapes. Those standards need symmetrical and proportional details. In this research, I put some physiognomy and inspection diagnosis related documents, and standards for restorative plastic surgery together to suggest standards on viewing shape diagnosis of nose which is one of the most important spot in facial inspection. It is expected to improve delicacy of Oriental medine's inspection diagnosis, as the result of the comparison between plastic surgery and inspection diagnosis.

  • Generally, it is very difficult to inspect geometric shape of large 2D objects after machining. To maintain the accuracy for inspection, a robot vision is used to divide overall shape into several enlarged images, and image processing technique is applied to acquire one minute geometric contour. The inspection is to compare the NC data with the measured contour data by the vision system, and the algorithm is to rotate to minimize the maximum deviation coinciding two geometric centers. This paper experimentally shows that the proposed inspection algorithm is very useful fur a large machined object.

3-Dimensional Micro Solder Ball Inspection Using LED Reflection Image

  • This paper presents an optical technique for the three-dimensional (3D) shape inspection of micro solder balls used in ball-grid array (BGA) packaging. The proposed technique uses an optical source composed of spatially arranged light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and the results are derived based on the specular reflection characteristics of the micro solder balls for BGA A vision system comprising a camera and LEDs is designed to capture the reflected images of multiple solder balls arranged arbitrarily on a tray and the locations of the LED point-light-source reflections in each ball are determined via image processing, for shape inspection. The proposed methodology aims to determine the presence of defects in 3D BGA shape using the statistical information of the relative positions of multiple BGA balls, which are included in the image. The presence of the BGA balls with large deviations in relative position imply the inconsistencies in their shape. Experiments were conducted to verify that the proposed method could be applied to inspection without sophisticated mechanism and productivity problem.

  • This paper deals with the development of a shape inspection system of the Light Guide Panel(LGP), and the study for the performance of the system. The conventional contact sensing methods have been used to inspect the shape. However the contact-sensing methods have some problems. The contact between a tip of the sensor and the surface of objects make a sensor tip abraded and generate a defect on the surface of objects. In this paper, we employed the Non-Contact Optical Sensor[1] to measure the shape inspection system of LGPs, The Sensor composed of Hologram laser[3] unit used for CD Optical Pickup[2] is low cost and has a good performance to measure a transparent objects.   • The inspection unit which is developed and used in this study, is processed the shape data from the CCD camera to seek welding bite section shape, and then calculated as a real dimension from measuring the value of each inspection item. The reason of measuring with the real in this study is came out from the image method which used for a long time, which is extricated the characteristic as the dimension of pixel by recognize pixel. The measurement method of the section shape is that we decide the thresholding value after we drew the histogram to binarizate the object. After that, we make flat the object to get rid of the noise and measure the shape of welded part through the boundarization of the object. The shape measurement is that measure the value of the welding part to adapt the actual operation program from using the ratio between the actual dimension of the standard specimen and the dimension of image, to measure the ratio between the actual product and the camera image. The inspection algorithm which estimates the quality of welded product is developed and also, the software GUI(Graphic User Interface) which processes the automatic test function of the inspection system is developed. We make the foundation of the inspection automatic system and we will help to apply other welding machine.

  • This study proposes a new approach to real time implimemtation of shape recognition technology of die casting and forging parts based on robot vision for smart factory. The proposed shape recognition and inspection technology for forging and die casting parts is very useful for manufacturing process automatiom and smart factory including external form's automatic inspection of machanical or electronic panrs for the precision verification. The reliabiblity of proposed technology Ihas been illustrated through experiments.

기하학적 패턴 매칭을 이용한 3차원 비전 검사 알고리즘 (3D Vision Inspection Algorithm using Geometrical Pattern Matching Method)

  • We suggest a 3D vision inspection algorithm which is based on the external shape feature. Because many electronic parts have the regular shape, if we have the database of pattern and can recognize the object using the database of the object s pattern, we can inspect many types of electronic parts. Our proposed algorithm uses the geometrical pattern matching method and 3D database on the electronic parts. We applied our suggested algorithm fer inspecting several objects including typical IC and capacitor. Through the experiments, we could find that our suggested algorithm is more effective and more robust to the inspection environment(rotation angle, light source, etc.) than conventional 2D inspection methods. We also compared our suggested algorithm with the feature space trajectory method.

  • Objectives For the excellent differentiation of syndromes, we study on the individual characteristic factor by the inspection of body shape. Methods To the subject of diagnosis special books and diagnostics textbook of korean medicine, we arrange the individual characteristic factor by the four methods of diagnosis. Results The individual characteristic factor analyzed by the inspection of the body shape in the "Huangdineijing 黃帝內經" and "Donguisusebowon 東醫壽世保元" was observed stereotyped. The inspection of the body shape means to diagnose the patient by examining the individual physical conditions of the patient. The body depends on visceral essence to nourish, while the functions of the viscera and the conditions of visceral essence may be reflected by the body. The inspection of individual physical strength and weakness may enable one to know the functions of the viscera and the conditions of ki(氣) and blood. And also the inspection of local regions is used to closely examine some regional areas to obtain necessary clinical data on the individual characteristic factor. Conclusion As the results, the individual characteristic factor by the inspection of body shape is very important item of the four methods of diagnosis(四診) and the differentiation of syndromes(辨證). And therefore the process on four methods of diagnosis and differentiation of syndromesis is necessary to divide the signs of individual characteristic factor and the signs of disease.

마스크 생산 라인에서 다중 영상 기반 마스크 이어링 검사 방법 (Multi-Vision-based Inspection of Mask Ear Loops Attachment in Mask Production Lines)

  • This paper addresses the problem of vision-based ear loops ansd attachment inspection in mask production lines. This paper focuses on connections with ear loops and mask filter by an efficient combined approach. The proposed method used a template matching, shape detection and summation of histogram with preprocessing. We had a parameter for detecting defects heuristically. If the shape vertices are lower than the parameters our proposed method will find defective mask automatically. After finding normal masks in mask ear loops attachment status inspection algorithm our proposed method conducts attachment amount inspection. Our experimental results showed that the precision is 1 and the recall is 0.99 in the mask attachment status inspection and attachment amount inspection.
