Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship among sexual contact, sex role identification, and self esteem in Korean girls' high school students. Methods: The data were collected from 522 girls, who were stratified samples from a target population of 63,375 11th grade students from 200 regular high schools and 70 vocational high schools in Seoul, Korea from June 22 to July 18, 2002. Data were processed with the SAS program. Results: It was found that 42.51% of girls haven't experienced any sexual contact at all. The highest frequency in the final level of sexual contact was 'kiss', which was 22.03%. The 'androgyny' type among sex role identities of girls was most common, 32.57%, being followed by the 'undifferentiated' type 31.61%, the 'masculinity' type 18.97%, and the 'femininity' type 16.86, in that order. The sexual contacts such as 'holding hands', 'arms around', 'embracing', and 'kiss' were significantly different depending on sex role identity types. The score for self-esteem was significantly different depending on sex role identity types. The score for self- esteem was not significantly different depending on the final level of sexual contact. Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, sex education programs should be developed in order to delay the sexual contacts of girls.

본 연구의 목적은 질적 메타요약 방법론을 활용하여 국내 게이, 레즈비언, 바이섹슈얼 성소수자의 성정체성 형성 과정에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 살펴본 질적 연구들을 체계적으로 종합함으로써 이질적인 질적 연구 결과를 통합적으로 이해하는 것이다. 국내 질적 연구들을 통해 보고된 성소수자의 성정체성 형성에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 종합하여 이러한 요인들의 보편성과 특수성을 파악하는 것은 그들의 내적 경험을 이해하고, 심리적 적응을 돕는데 중요하다. 본 연구는 질적 메타요약을 통해 국내 질적 연구들이 제시한 게이, 레즈비언, 바이섹슈얼 성소수자들의 성정체성 수용과 통합, 더 나아가 긍정적 정체성 형성에 관여하는 심리적 요인과 사회적 요인을 확인하고 체계적으로 요약하고자 하였다. 먼저 학술DB 검색을 통하여 국내에서 2021년까지 발표된 총 9편의 관련 연구물을 확보하였다. 9편의 연구물의 질은 Critical Appraisal Screening Programme을 통해 평가되었다. 분석 결과, 총 179개의 진술문이 추출되었고 관련 진술문들을 축약시킨 결과 34개의 축약진술문이 산출되었다. 34개의 축약 진술문은 성정체성 발달을 저해하는 요인과 촉진하는 요인, 심리적 요인과 사회적 요인의 두 가지 축을 기준으로 크게 성정체성 발달을 촉진하는 심리적 요인과 사회적 요인, 성정체성 발달을 저해하는 심리적 요인과 사회적 요인의 네 영역으로 나눌 수 있었다 논의에서는 영역별 주요 요인을 설명하였으며, 본 연구 결과의 함의와 제한점을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 소셜 Q&A 사이트인 네이버 지식iN에서 성 정체성과 관련된 질문들을 분석하여 질문의 중심이 되는 주제를 추출하고 구체적인 고민들에 대해 이해하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 네이버 지식iN에서 2010년부터 9년간 작성된 2,120개의 관련 질문들을 수집한 후, 자연어 처리와 정보 검색 방법을 사용하여 질문들의 주제와 고민들을 추출하고 분석하였다. 분석결과, 주요 주제는 인간관계, 성 정체성 의심, 성적 지향, 감정 및 관계, 성 정체성 고민 등으로 나타났다. 나아가 사용자들은 주로 1) 일반적인 성 정체성, 2) 성적 지향, 3) 성 정체성에 대한 부정적 인식, 4) 감정 고백, 커밍아웃, 동성애, 5) 미래, 이성 관계, 군대에 대한 우려, 6) 성 정체성 혼란을 겪는 이유 등과 관련된 고민을 하고 있었다. 본 연구는 성 정체성에 대한 실제적 고민들을 수집하여 토픽 모델링 기법을 통해 정보 요구를 도출하였으며 exact match와 tf-idf 기반의 검색 방법을 비교함으로써 문헌정보학 분야의 방법론적 확장을 시사했다. 또한 특정 관심사에 대한 온라인 커뮤니티 이용자들의 정보요구 및 정보탐색행태를 관찰함으로써 정보행위분야의 학문적 성숙에도 기여했다.

본 연구의 목적은 융복합시대에서 부모방임이 청소년의 성인용매체 몰입에 미치는 영향과 그 과정에 있어서 자아정체성의 매개효과를 검증하는데 있다. 이를 위해 한국청소년패널 KCYPS 중1 패널 3차 년도 데이터를 이용하였으며 본 연구에 부합되는 2,157명의 청소년을 대상으로 부모방임, 자아정체성 및 청소년의 성인용매체 몰입에 대한 경로분석 모형을 살펴보았다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모방임이 청소년의 자아정체성에 부(-)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 부모방임이 청소년의 성인용매체 몰입에 정(+)적인 영향성을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 부모방임이 청소년의 성인용매체 몰입에 미치는 직접적인 영향과 자아정체성을 매개로 하는 간접적인 영향이 확인되었다.

This objective study were to classify the contents of makeup behavior, to investigate the relationship between makeup behavior and sex role identity, and to examine how the makeup behavior, makeup satisfaction was influenced by sex role identity and demographics. To achieve this, the researchers surveyed 162 women for the ages of 18 through 25. The result of this study are followed. 1) Four factor of makeup behavior were sexual attractiveness, aesthetic, psychological dependence and makeup interest. 2) There were significant positive relationship between makeup behavior and sex role identity. 3) Sexual attractiveness were influenced by femininity, income. The explanatory power of the 2 variables were 8.5%. Aesthetic were influenced by masculinity. The explanatory power of the 1 variable was 9.2%. Psychological dependence were influenced by femininity. The explanatory power of the 1 variable was 8.2%. Makeup interest were influenced by masculinity, age. The explanatory power of the 2 variables were 9.0%. 4 Makeup satisfaction were influenced by sexual attractiveness, aesthetic. The explanatory power of the 2 variables were 22.1%.

The purpose of this research is to understand the gender identity expressed in Madonna music video texts and performances. Madonna has reconstructed the fluid identities through the variations of body, images, costumes, and attitudes . The results are as fellows; ① Her punky sexuality is to be seen the flash trash look, kitsch fashion, which reconstructs a good/bad taste, modesty/immodesty, the relations of under/outer wear using bawdy sexuality through her early Virgin tour. ② Her Heterosexuality is to be seen the glamourous look, traditional images of women, which represents the passive feminity of patriarch. ③ Her sadomasochism sexuality is to be seen the bondage look of dominatrix image, which deconstructs sexual taboos; represents sexual power. ④ Her bisexuality is to be seen androgynous look, the 3rd species look using masculinity/feminity signifier, which deconstructs the stereotypes of gender roles. ⑤ Her homosexuality is to be seen the fetish fashion by drag and lesbian, which deconstructs the dichotomy of normality/perversion; opens a possibility of women subjectivity of sexual desires.

This study explores the clothing behavior of homosexual men for identity creation. Since homosexuality has been viewed in terms of immoral, medical or social problems, gay males have made efforts to construct presentational styles in order to hide or reveal their sexual identities. Kate Schofield and Ruth A. Schmidt found that there were three different layers of individual gay identity construction expressed in clothing: shared gay identity, tribal identity, and situational identity. Using their framework, 630 gay men's outfits found in the U.S drama 'Queer as folk' were analyzed, which dealt with the lives of a group of gay men living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Findings point that gay males use their clothing effectively to express their sexual identity. Firstly, they use certain fashion items as the signifier of homosexuality on a gay community level. They use their clothing to attract the sexual partners. On tribal identity level, diverse and fragmented styles could be shown besides the effeminate style. Homosexual men's clothing can be classified into the following four dominate styles: the drag look, the macho look, the androgynous look and conventional look. Findings also indicate that gay males make different clothing choices for different situations in order to blend into the heterosexual or homosexual society.

연구목적 : 우리나라 청소년들에서 성주체성 혼란과 동성애 성향의 빈도를 우선 파악하고자 하였으며, 성주체성의 혼란이나 동성애 성향을 보이는 청소년들이 성개방성과 자아 존중감에서 그렇지 않은 청소년들과 차이를 보이는지에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 방법 : 서울지역 1,748명의 중, 고등학생(남자 중학생 359명, 여자 중학생 452명, 남자 고등학생 483명, 여자 고등학생 454명)을 대상으로, 성주체성, 동성애 성향, 성개방성, 자아 존중감에 대하여 자기 보고식 평가척도를 사용하여 측정하였다. 결과 : 1) 남중생의 $15\%$, 남고생의 $16.7\%$, 여중생의 $39.4\%$, 여고생의 $40.5\%$에서 성주체성 문제의 가능성을 보였다. 경미한 성주체성 문제는 여학생에서 많았으나 성주체성장애가 우려되는 심각한 성주체성 혼란은 남자, 특히 남고생에서 많았다. 2) 성주체성 문제 유무에 따른 성개방성은 여중생에서 만이 성주체성 문제군에서 성개방성이 높았고(p=0.044), 자아존중감은 성주체성 문제군에서 낮았는데, 특히 남중생(p=0.033), 여고생(p=0.020)에서는 통계적으로 유의하게 낮았다. 3) 남중생의 $17.2\%$, 남고생의 $5.4\%$, 여중생의 $17.7\%$, 여고생의 $12\%$에서 동성애적 성향이 있었다. 심각한 동성애 성향은 여중생 $3.3\%$, 남중생 $3.1\%$, 여고생 $2.1\%$, 남고생 $1.7\%$순이었다. 4) 동성애 성향 유무에 따른 성개방성 차이는 없었고, 자아존중감은 여고생의 경우만 동성애 성향이 있는 군에서 통계적으로 유의하게(p=0.039) 낮았다. 5) 성주체성 문제가 있는 경우에 통계적으로 유의하게(p=0.001) 동성애 성향이 많았다. 6) 성주체성은 연령간 차이가 없었으나 동성애 성향은 특히 남학생에서 연령이 증가하면서 감소하였다. 결론 : 성주체성의 문제나 동성애 성향을 보이는 청소년에서 자아존중감이 낮았다. 따라서 보다 체계적인 방법으로 이들을 선별하여 적절한 정신과적 조치를 취하는 방안이 요구된다.

A dolescence can be defined as the period between pubescence and physical maturity, and the passage through adolescence(age of 12-19) forms a critical period. Major developmental tasks of adolescence are construction of an emancipated identity, realistic ambitions, and reasonable ideals, and the further development of sexual and social identities. In early adolescence one struggles to adjust psychologically to the spurt in growth and tensions filled with sexual and aggressive impulses. There are reshuffling of peer groups due to differing rates of maturation, early adolescence crushes, sublimation of sexuality, and the resurgence of oedipal feelings. One reaches so-called period of formal operations in cognitive development. In mid-adolescence one struggles to overcome family attachments and controls, and it is a time marked by revolt and conformity. One has to overcome sexual repression while caught in reactivation of oedipal attachment. Peer groups gains in importance, and the peer group changes into a youth group that carries the youth culture. Late adolescence is a period of achieving an ego identity and capacities for intimacy. One has to prevent premature closure : Identity foreclosure limits both opportunity and the ability to guide one's own life. Gradually adolescent begins to have a loss self-centered and narcissistic orientation to one's sexual and affectional needs, and becomes involved in love relationship.

In Written on the Body, by creating the narrator's ungendered and unsexed identity, Winterson makes her text open to the reader's assumption of the narrator's sexual and gender identity. Thus, this novel has been read, on the one hand, as a lesbian text by those who assume that the narrator is a female and, on the other hand, as a suspicious text colluding with patriarchal and heterosexual values by those who define the narrator as a male. Those readings of the narrator as one of either sex/gender, however, demonstrate how (academic as well as general) readers have been accustomed to the gender-based reading habits in which textual meanings are dichotomously arranged along the lines of sex and gender of characters. Challenging those dualistic "gendered" readings, this paper reads Winterson's Written on the Body as a queer text which interrogates, troubles, and subverts the heterosexual concepts of narrative, desire, and body without reducing the narrator's identity to the essentialist sex and gender system. More specifically, this paper examines how the narrator's 'un-/over-' determined sexual and gender identity queers the narrative structure of author-character-reader; how the narrator's queer (fluid) desire is passing and traveling across categorical contours of (homo-/hetero-) sexual desires; how Winterson challenges the concept of a coherent body and queers the concept of body as a hermeneutic text with myriad textual grids which are not coherently mapped by power but randomly inscribed by nomadic desires.
