Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR)를 이용한 질산화와 탈질산화 (Nitrification and Denitrification by Using a Sequencing Batch Reactor System)

  • Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) was operated under various experimental conditions to improve the efficiency of biological filters used for the treatment of recycled wastewater from aquaculture. This SBR system was operated for removing COD, ammonia and suspended solid that were the major pollutants in aquaculture wastewater. Aerobic and anoxic conditions after FILL mode were applied intermittently for effective removal of nitrogen. SETTLE and DRAW modes were followed by the complete aerobic and anoxic REACT mode. The total volume of the SBR was 75 liter, while the working volume in a cycle was 35 liters. When the final operating strategy of the SBR was FILL/REACT/SETTLE/DRAW of 0.5/10/1/0.5 hr. the removal efficiencies of TCODcr, $NH_{4}^{+}-N,$ and T-N were 94, 98, and $89\%,$ respectively.

  • A new modified command voltage of the third harmonics injected PWM inverter is proposed in overmodulation mode. By analyzing the relationship between the modulation index and the peak of the fundamental component of the modified reference voltage, we can settle the problem in over modulation mode without iteration. Then we can increase the maximum fundamental component of the third harmonic injected PWM inverter comparative to six-step inverter continuously in over modulation mode.

  • This paper presents motion control of the Inchworm composed of the piezoelectric actuators and mechanical elements. Piezoelectric actuator shows nonlinear response characteristics including hysteresis due to the ferroelectric characteristics. This paper proposes feedback control scheme to improve the ability of tracking response to complex input signal and suppress the phenomenon of hysteresis using the sliding mode control technique with the integrator. The sliding mode control system has the limit to minimize both the settle time and overshoot. For making up this limit, this paper also suggests input shaping technique suitable to the inchworm control system.

  • 본 논문에셔는 3고초파를 주입한 정현파 PWM 인버터의 과변조 영역에서 인버터를 전형적으로 제어하기 위한 새로운 방법을 제시한다. 정현파 PWM에 3고조파를 삽입하면 단순한 정현파 PWM에 비해 선형영역을 확장할 수 있다. 그러나 이 경우에도 선형영역은 six-step 인버터메 비해 90% 정도가 된다. 따라서 과변조 영역에서 변조지수와 인버터 출력의 기본파 전압의 크기에 대한 관계를 분석함으로써, 과변조 영역에서 기준전압올 보정해 줄 수 있다. 보정된 기준 전압을 명령값으로 사용하게 되므로 반복 계산 없이 3고조파 주입형 정현파 PWM에서 출력전압을 SIX-step에샤의 전압에 이로는 과변조 영역까지 선형적으로 제어가 가능하다. 인버터-유도전동기시스템에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여 이를 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 3고조파를 주입한 정현파 PWM 인버터의 과변조 영역에서, 인버터 전압을 선형적으로 제어하기 위한 방법을 제시한다. 정현파 PWM에 3고조파를 삽입하면 단순한 정현파 PWM에 비해 선형영역을 확장할 수 있다. 그러나 이 경우에도 선형영역은 six-step 인버터에 비해 90% 정도까지가 된다. 따라서 PWM 인버터를 six-step 인버터의 출력에 이르기까지 선형적으로 제어하기 위해, PWM 인버터의 과변조 영역에서의 변조지수와 인버터 출력의 기본파 전압 크기와의 관계를 분석하여, 과변조 영역에서 기준전압을 보정해 줄 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 보정된 기준 전압을 명령 값으로 사용함으로써 반복 계산 없이 3고조파 주입형 정현파 PWM에서 출력전압을 six-steP에서의 전압에 이르기까지 선형적으로 제어할 수 있게 된다. 제안된 방법을 인버터-유도전동기 시스템에 대한 시뮬레이션을 통하여 확인하였고 실험으로 입증하였다.

고온 협기성 연속회분식 공정에 의한 도시하수슬러지 소화 (Thermophilic Sewage Sludge Digestion by Anaerobic Sequencing Batch Reactor)

  • The feasibility of municipal sewage sludge digestion was investigated by using thermophilic anaerobic sequencing batch reactor(ASBR). One-day settle time was enough for the high performance of solid-liquid separation. The conversion of semi-continuous mode to sequencing batch mode is easily achieved without any adverse effects, although the large amount of sludge equal to the volume ratio of 0.3~06 to reactor volume was added in the feed step of the start-up. The ASBRs had higher conversion capability of organics to biogas than the control reactor. Gas yields of the ASBRs were increased by the average of 50% over the control reactor across a range of hydraulic retention time(HRT)s from 10days to 5days. The thermophilic reactors showed higher gas production than mesophilic reactor. Removal efficiencies of organic matter exceeded 80% on the basis of supernatants, except that at the reactor. Solid-liquid separation was essential in the performance of the ASBR, especially, at the lower HFT. The ASBRs were highly efficient in the retention of activated biomass within the reactor. thus compensating for increased equivalent organic loading rate through increased solids retention times followed by the increased solids, while maintaining shorter HRTs.

  • 다중 프로세서 환경에서 경성 실시간 태스크 집합의 스케줄링 문제를 해결하는 최적의 방법인 PF 알고리즘[13]이 제안된 이후, 이를 기반으로 하는 여러 가지 스케줄링 알고리즘들이 제안되었다. 그러나 고정된 퀀텀 크기를 기반으로 태스크들을 스케줄링하는 이들 알고리즘은 mode change 하에서 문제점을 갖는다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위한 최적의 퀀텀 크기 결정 방법이 제안된 바 있다[2]. 본 논문에서는 모든 태스크들에 대한 이용률이 $e{\le}p/3+1$의 성질을 만족하는 제한적 특성을 갖는 태스크 집합에 대해서 최적의 퀀텀 크기를 결정하기 위한 이용률 계산의 반복 횟수를 보다 감소시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안한다.

Locking Time과 Jitter 특성의 개선을 위한 PLL 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of PLL for Improving of Characteristics of Locking Time and Jitter)

  • In this paper, we focus our attention on the improvement of locking time and jitter parameter and propose the new structure of PLL which combined with the FVC, FOVI Matcher(FVC-Output and VCO-input Matching Circuit), Control Circuit and the conventional charge pump PLL. Using fast operation characteristics of the FVC, the circuit matching FVC-Output and VCO-input (FOVI Matcher) made to synchronize very fast. Fast locking time is usually required for application where the PLL has to settle rapidly if they switch from an idle mode to a normal mode and to track high-frequency data bit rate in data recovery systems. After a fast acqusition is achieved by the using the FVC, the conventional PLL operates for removing the phase error between the reference signal and the feedback signal. Therefore this structure can improve the trade-off between acquisition behavior and locked behavior.

IEEE 802.15.4e TSCH-mode Scheduling in Wireless Communication Networks

  • IEEE 802.15.4e-TSCH is recognized as a wireless industrial sensor network standard used in IoT systems. To ensure both power savings and reliable communications, the TSCH standard uses techniques including channel hopping and bandwidth reserve. In TSCH mode, scheduling is crucial because it allows sensor nodes to select when data should be delivered or received. Because a wide range of applications may necessitate energy economy and transmission dependability, we present a distributed approach that uses a cluster tree topology to forecast scheduling requirements for the following slotframe, concentrating on the Poisson model. The proposed Optimized Minimal Scheduling Function (OMSF) is interested in the details of the scheduling time intervals, something that was not supported by the Minimal Scheduling Function (MSF) proposed by the 6TSCH group. Our contribution helps to deduce the number of cells needed in the following slotframe by reducing the number of negotiation operations between the pairs of nodes in each cluster to settle on a schedule. As a result, the cluster tree network's error rate, traffic load, latency, and queue size have all decreased.
