A Study on AC Servo System for FA using High-performance DSP (고성능 DSP기반의 FA 용 AC서보 시스템에 관한 연구)

  • AC servo system has been implemented to FA system and also depends on its quality. Recently with the development of power switching device and DSP which has peripheral devices to control AC servo system, the servo technology has met a new development opportunity. A DSP based AC servo system with a 3-phase PMSM is proposed. The newly produced DSP TMX320F2812-version C which has the performance of fast speed, 150MIPS, and rich peripheral interface is used. Also space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) and the digital PI control are implemented to the servo system

  • Recently with the development of power switching device and DSP which has peripheral devices to control AC servo system, the servo technology has met a new development opportunity. Those things make it possible to reduce the time of developing a AC servo system. Fixed point DSP such as TMS320F240x, and TMS320F28x series have a disadvantage in calculating floating number where TMS320C32 or TMS320C31 are floating point DSP. However they usually become a complex hardware system to implement the AC servo system and it increases the cost. In this study, a DSP based AC servo system with a 3-phase PMSM is proposed. The newly produced DSP TMX320F28l2-version C which has the performance of fast speed, 150MIPS, and a rich peripheral interface such as a 12bit high speed AD converter, QEP(Quadrature Encoder Pulse) circuit, PDPINT(Power Drive Protect Interrupt), SVPWM module and dead time module are used. This paper presents a method to overcome fixed point calculating using scaling all parameters. Also space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) using off-set voltage and a digital PI control are implemented to the servo system.

  • This paper presents a measurement system of mechanical property using dual servo system. There are many kinds of method to measure material properties such as tensile test, indention and bending test. It is highly required to measure the properties of nano-sized material and structure. However, It is need more accurate measurement system, more stable and frequency response than conventional test. In this paper, we designed the dual servo system for a measuring instrument The dual servo system consisting of a coarse stage and a fine motion stage with VCM and PZT is proposed. Mechanical mechanism is designed with the leaf spring type of flexure hinge joint. Lead compensator is applied to this control system, and is designed by PQ method.

  • Self servo track writing(SSTW)은 servo track writer(STW)를 이용하지 않고 hard disk drive의 내부 VCM을 이용하여 servo track을 기록하는 방식이다. SSTW는 이전 servo track을 상대적인 reference로 하여 기록하게 되므로 초기에 발생된 error와 외부의 disturbance의 영향으로 error는 급속하게 증가된다. 이것을 radial error propagation 이라 한다. 본 논문에서는 radial error propagation을 억제하기 위한 correction signal을 설계하고 servo writing 과정에서 발생하는 disturbance의 영향을 제거하기 위하여 disturbance observer(DOB)를 add-on type으로 구성하여 tracking 제어기를 설계하였다. 또한 DOB를 적용한 경우와 유사한 gain margin, phase margin과 sensitivity function을 갖는 제어기를 설계하여 그 성능을 비교하였다. 제안된 방식은 radial error propagation을 억제 하였을 뿐만 아니라 disturbance의 최소화하여 쓰여진 track의 DC track spacing과 AC track Squeeze가 개선된 것을 모의실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

  • This paper presents the experiments on the approximation of a hydraulic servo system using a real time recurrent neural networks (RTRN) with time varying weights. In order to verify the effectiveness of the RTRN algorithm in hydraulic servo system, we design the experimental hydraulic system and implemented the real time approximation of system output. Experimental results show that approximated output of the RTRN well follows the position trajectory of the electro-hydraulic servo system. And also it is verified that the 2-D RNN can be implemented in sampling time even though high sampling frequency experimentally.

  • LQ-Servo controller inherits the stability-robustness from rational LQR structure and also, satisfies performance-robustness that is lacking in LQR structure by importing partial output feedback. In this paper, LQ-Servo controller is suggested for strengthening the performance-robustness. For this, Several executings are effectively performed by implementing to the rotational inverted pendulum system.

  • In this paper, we study robust linear optimal model following servo system in the presence of disturbances and parameter perturbations. A technique to directly design the generalized differential operator based unified control system that covers both differential operator based continuous time and delta operator based discrete time case is presented. The quadratic criterion function for a linear system is used to design the robust unified servo control system. This servo control system is designed by applying a simple genetic algorithm to follow the output of the reference model optimally. The characteristics of the proposed servo system are analysed and simulated to verify the robustness.

  • In this study, the characteristics of the hydraulic servo mechanism for proportional position control of a hydraulic construction eguipment were analyzed using the developed analysis tool. The result were used in the others hydraulic system except construcdtion eguipment to improve the static performance of the system, the system parameter effects on the controllable region and the hydraulic servo mechanism variation were studied.

  • In this paper, the inverse model of a servo system is realized in a PDP-type neural network. The neural network learns the mapping between the input and output of the servo system. Some simulation results show the effectiveness of this inverse model obtained here.
