소셜 커머스 고객 만족에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (On the Factors that Affect Customers' Satisfaction in Social Commerce)

  • Social commerce is regarded as a kind of e-commerce that utilizes social media. Considering increasing complaints around social commerce market, it is important to see customers' satisfaction level and intentions to repurchase. In this study, we examine antecedents that affect customers' satisfaction and relationship between satisfaction and intention to repurchase in social commerce market. We also use social media characteristics as moderators between antecedents and customers' satisfaction. The main results are as follows. First, except site design, most of the intrinsic factors of service quality, such as information, transaction, communication and perceived security had positive effects on customers' satisfaction. Second, all the extrinsic factors of service quality, such as discount rate, constraints, and discrimination had significant impacts on customers' satisfaction. Third, the social media characteristics could not moderate the relationship between service qualities and customers' satisfaction. Fourth, customers' satisfaction had positive effect on the intention to spread through social media. Fifth, customers' satisfaction had positive effect on the intention to repurchase. Social commerce companies need to set up strategies considering the antecedents of customers' satisfaction using these research results. They also need to secure customers that have sustainable purchasing intentions.

  • Investments in information and communication technologies (ICT) around the world have grown at an enormous rate over the past two decades, which reflects a new emphasis on consumer mobile devices. A social network service (SNS) is an online service that aims to build social relations among people who share interests and activities. The role of SNS is enormous for communicating ideas and opinions among social participants. The use of SNS has recently become one of the most popular social activities worldwide. This research investigated relation between personal characteristics, social characteristics and user satisfaction on SNS then, analyzed how these factors affecting continuance usage intention on SNS users. The conclusion is summarized as below. The study results show that informativeness, pleasure, innovativeness, relationship and empathy of SNS are having positive impact to some degree on the user satisfaction. Further, the user satisfaction of SNS users and quality of life have a positive impact on the continuance usage intention of SNS users. This results show that various SNS qualities are necessary to actively explore and obtain further information that users intend to find, while they are insufficient in function to provide the information other users require or exchange information with other users through the SNS.

소비 가치, 미용 점포 서비스 품질, 소비자 만족이 점포 충성도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Consumption Values, Service Quality, and Consumer Satisfaction on Store Loyalty for Beauty Consumers)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of consumption value, service quality, and customer satisfaction on store loyalty of beauty consumers. Using a questionnaire developed from previous studies, data were collected from 319 females at beauty stores located in Busan. They were analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, and path analysis using SPSS 14.0 Program. Results showed that beauty consumers were classified into three groups by their consumption values; Subjective group, Practical group, and Epistemic group. There were a little differences among three consumer groups in the influence of perceived service qualities on consumer satisfaction. They suggest that the more satisfied with store services, consumers were the greater loyalty of beauty stores. Additionally, satisfaction of beauty consumers was a very important variable to develop the store loyalty. These findings would provide retailers and marketers related to beauty stores the informations encouraging consumer satisfactions and developing strategies of beauty stores.

  • Properly designed and well-executed services enable e-commerce companies to capture the unique needs and preferences of customers, help them build customer loyalty, and thereby, strengthen their competitiveness in the marketplace. An object of this study is the new open-market company and it has only 3 percent of the market share. Therefore, it is needed to raise the market share by improving the service qualities. This article presents a six sigma project for service quality improvement in the open-market company. This study was carried out based on five steps of DMAIC which is six sigma technique. First, a defect rate was defined as unsatisfaction rate. In addition, 50-people data was analyzed and it was shown that the defect level was 2.5 sigma level. In this study, in order to raise the sigma level, novel eight action items were determined based on SIPOC, FDPM, cause and effect diagram, matrix chart, Pareto chart and statistical analysis.

Impact of Quality Improvement in a Department Store by Sales Associates on Customer Loyalty

  • The purpose of this study is to identify how to improve the quality of department store's sales associates for customer loyalty. This study examines the importance of sales associates' education, skills, and customer service towards customer loyalty. The questionnaire survey was conducted to collect data from 220 clothing sales associates working in department stores. This survey was paper-based. The participants were asked about the questionnaires; sales associates' education, sales associates' ability, customer service, and customer loyalty. General demographic characteristic of participants in the study are as follows; females (72.27%) participated the survey more than males (27.73%). With the age ranging from early 20s to over 40s, most people who took the survey ranged from early 30's to mid 30's with 33.64%. The result indicated that sales associates' education, and customer service skills were significantly corelated to each other. Sales associates' education had no co relation to customer loyalty. In applying the research findings, department stores can design their training contents to offer better training quality. Education of sales associates can be focused by providing various training contents, exercise, effective options, along with the opportunity to improve the qualities of training.

A Qualitative Study on Customer Management and Response of Apparel Shop Masters

  • The purpose of this study was to categorize customers types in accordance with current shop masters' perception of difficult customers and to identify their responding techniques and know-hows in dealing with those customers in detail, a qualitative study is carried out by conducting thorough interviews with the shop masters. The interview contained questions on occupational hold-ups of shop masters, types of hard-to-handle customers, techniques in handling difficult customers, their know-hows in customer managements and what they perceived as the qualities of a shop master. T The results were as follows: 1) Customers who are perceived as difficult by shop masters are categorized into six types, making unreasonable demands, pointing out product defects, disregarding salespersons, making no purchase after testing products, having no personality and having no response. 2) Responding techniques for difficult customers were categorized into three types, 'active response', 'standby' and 'polite refusal'. 3)The result from the question on know-hows of shop masters in customer management can be divided into 4 groups, providing special treatment or information, building one-to-one relationship with the customer, suggesting garments in accordance with the customer's taste and providing friendly customer service. 4) For the question on perceived qualities as a shop master, individual quality, customer management capacity, work experience and occupational knowledge were answered.

온라인 호텔이용후기의 질적 내용분석에 의한 고객가치 연구 (Understanding Customer Values by Analyzing the Contents of Online Hotel Reviews)

  • 본 연구는 온라인상에 남겨진 호텔이용후기에 대해 질적내용분석을 실시하여, 호텔이용자들이 지각한 고객가치의 차원에 대해 살펴보았다. 한국관광공사의 우수 호텔 브랜드인 베니키아 호텔가운데 의도적 표집방법에 의해 행정구역을 기준으로 하여 온라인 후기가 남겨진 10개소를 선정, 연구를 진행했다. 그 결과, 베니키아 호텔이용자들이 지각한 주된 고객가치로는 기능적 가치, 정서적 가치, 가격대비 가치, 인식적 가치, 조건적 가치가 있음을 확인했고 사회적 가치인식은 전혀 발현되지 않았다. 기능적 가치는 호텔이 응당 갖추어야할 기본적인 기능에 대한 평가였고 정서적 가치는 주로 이에 맞물려 생성되었다. 가격대비 가치는 고객이 지불한 비용대비 전체적인 경험의 질에 따른 가치인식이었다. 기존의 호텔고객가치 연구와는 달리, 본 연구는 식당 음식품질의 중요성, 호텔 주변 환경의 매력성도 호텔이용자의 경험에 관여하는 주요 요소임을 확인할 수 있었고, 질적내용분석방법을 통해 실제 고객들의 호텔이용경험에 대한 그 내면을 살필 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

주관적 연령이 의류점포의 서비스품질 지각, 만족 및 재구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 실버소비자들의 라이프스타일 유형을 중심으로 - (Effects of Cognitive Age on Perceived Service Quality, Satisfaction, and Repurchase Intentions across the Elderly's Lifestyle Types in Apparel Stores)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of cognitive age on service quality, consumer satisfaction, and repurchase intentions across the elderly's lifestyle types in the apparel store. Data were obtained from 853 women in the 50's and 60's living in Busan, and were analyzed by factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, and path analysis using SPSS WIN 12.0 and LISREL 8.53. The results showed that the lifestyle of elderly consumers was classified into three factors, such as Active self-fidelitist, Economy family-oriented, and Passive-stagnant. Service qualities perceived by the elderly in apparel stores were composed of Personal Service, Facilities Service, Product Service, and Policy Service. Generally, the younger cognized their ages most of the elderly were the more importantly perceived store service quality, the greater satisfied with apparel store services, and the more intended to repurchase apparels at a store. However, economic family-oriented elderlys were the younger cognized their ages, the less satisfied with the apparel service. Additionally, personal and policy services of the apparel store were important variables for elderlys' satisfaction with store services. The findings provide potential explanations and managerial implications for the elderly market.

  • The QOS(Quality of Service) recognized by the customer will become the most important thing under the competitive telecommunications market. Korea Telecom is going to develop many system to manage the telecommunication network, to improve the level of QOS, and to increase the revenue. Operation and Maintenance Adiministration System is one of the systems developed to meet those purposes efficiently. This system gathers qualities data from telephone offices or operation centers and analyze the results of QOS improvement activities and evaluate overall QOS. And also system makes it possible to improve the cost/effectiveness of operation and maintenance of telecommunication network. Operation and Maintenance Administration System has four functional modules, i.e., the user interface module, the database management module, the QOS management module, and the database conversion module. The purpose of this study is to develop the QOS management program, one of the four functional modules of the system,using FOCUS 4GL/DBMS. Since Operation and Maintenance Administration System is developed using FOCUS 4GL, every user can handle and maintain the system very easily and reduce system backlogs.
