This paper describes hardware-based high speed multimedia data reassembly processor for remote multimedia Set-Top-Box(MSTB) of interactive satellite multimedia communication system. The conventional multimedia data reassembly scheme is based on software processing of MSTB. As increasing of transmission rate for multimedia data services, the CPU load of remote MSTB is increased and reassembly performance of MSTB is limited. To provide high speed multimedia data service to end user, we proposed hardware based high speed multimedia data reassembly processor. It is implemented by using an FPGA, a PCI interface chip, and RAMs. And it is integrated in MSTB and tested. It has been confirmed to meet required all functions and processing rate up to 116Mbps.

A virtual power plant is a kind of software power plant that enables participation in power operation by integrally managing individual distributed resources. This paper proposes a common information communication architecture based on the TASE.2 standard and the OpenADR2.0 standard to operate a virtual power plant as a single power system. ESS is designed TASE.2 SBO devices that related objects are mapped to OpenADR2.0 services and composed as a single sequence type. Through simulation verification, it conforms data exchange and operation based on both standards.

It was recommended for all ship engaged in international voyages to carry the dedicated Digital Selective Calling receiver, DSC equipment, VHF transceiver, etc according to Global Maritime Distress & Safety System. Also International Maritime Organization recommended for navigation and communication equipments to applicate the EMC regulations, therefore most of electronic equipments using in the vessel to be faced with problems to cope with new regulations. This study has applied and analyzed the EMC for an equipment integrated with Ch.70 dedicated DSC receiver, DSC equipment, VHF transceiver and groped for solutions to cope with. The test has applied the electromagnetic interference such as the measurement for unwanted emissions from conductive & radio emission and the electromagnetic susceptibility such as the immunity from voltage, frequency variation and electro static discharge, hence comes to be understand the problems related with the power and the earth.

5G AgiLe and fLexible integration of SaTellite And cellulaR (5G-ALLSTAR) is a Korea-Europe (KR-EU) collaborative project for developing multi-connectivity (MC) technologies that integrate cellular and satellite networks to provide seamless, reliable, and ubiquitous broadband communication services and improve service continuity for 5G and beyond. The main scope of this project entails the prototype development of a millimeter-wave 5G New Radio (NR)-based cellular system, an investigation of the feasibility of an NR-based satellite system and its integration with cellular systems, and a study of spectrum sharing and interference management techniques for MC. This article reviews recent research activities and presents preliminary results and a plan for the proof of concept (PoC) of three representative use cases (UCs) and one joint KR-EU UC. The feasibility of each UC and superiority of the developed technologies will be validated with key performance indicators using corresponding PoC platforms. The final achievements of the project are expected to eventually contribute to the technical evolution of 5G, which will pave the road for next-generation communications.

The IMS is an architectural control framework for delivering IP multimedia services such as voice, video, audio and data, the IMS supports not only the mobile communication system but also the existing wired and wireless network based on IP. The network that is integrated by the IMS needs policy-based network management protocol for managing the limited network resources to provide efficient multimedia service. The IMS use additional device called PDF for efficient resource management, but the PDF only uses diameter which is one of the network management protocol such as SNMP and COPS. Many devices use various protocol to manage the limited network resources. There is an algorithm using a variety of protocols such as Diameter, COPS and SNMP to handle the resources management efficiently. We also analyze the performance using the proposed algorithm in the implemented IMS environment.

Immunization information recorded on the Immunization rate in the community to identify the effects of immunization can be monitored. Immunization during an accident can be used as a basis for investigating the cause. Thus, immunization records, and more efficient management in the private and public institutions have conducted immunization information systems to manage the development of integrated system has to be. So, the government projects that promote immunization records were computerized registration. And, in 2009 the development of immunization registration system was completed. In this paper, we use the information to a variety of immunization using smart phone design and implement mobile service.

It has been recognized as an important issue to design optimally a firm's logistics network for minimizing logistics cost and maximizing customer service. It is, however, not easy to get an optimal solution by analyzing trade-off of cost factors, dynamic and interdependent characteristics in the logistics network decision making. Although there has been some developments in a system which helps decision making for logistics analysis, it is true that there is no system for enterprise-wise's on-site support and methodical logistics decision. Specially, E-biz process along with information technology has been made dramatic advance in a various industries, there has been much need for practical education closely resembles on-site work. The software developed by this study materializes efficient algorithm suggested by recent studies in key topics of logistics such as location and allocation problem, traveling salesman problem, and vehicle routing problem and transportation and distribution problem. It also supports executing a variety of experimental design and analysis in a way of the most user friendly based on Java. In the near future, we expect that it can be extended to integrated supply chain solution by adding decision making in production in addition to a decision in logistics.

Each company has different business processes. Since it is impossible that an ERP system contains every different business processes, the productivity of customizing and maintenance well-matched for the business process of a company is the key to successful implementation. This ERP UI development tool was developed for better connection to back-end in terms of customizing and maintenance, integration with design, providing various tools for higher productivity, reusability, and standardized user interface so that it enhances the productivity, meets the UI standard, and copes with upcoming changes of business process. In the further study, the study on the service automation and integrated development environment with front-end and back-end providing through the advanced user convenience development for front-end designer and front-end generator would be carried out.

Objectives This study was conducted to evaluate the therapeutic effect of acupuncture after rotator cuff surgery. Methods Key words such as rotator cuff surgery and acupuncture were searched in 10 databases (Ovid-Medline, Ovid-EMBASE, Ovid-AMED, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure [CNKI], National Digital Science Library [NDSL], Koreanstudies Information Service System [KISS], Oriental medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System [OASIS], KoreaMed, KMBASE), and only suitable randomized controlled trials (RCTs) were selected. Results 6 RCTs were finally selected, and acupuncture showed positive results for pain relief and functional recovery after rotator cuff surgery. However, the analyzed 6 RCTs showed a high overall risk of bias. Conclusions In the future, RCTs with a higher level of evidence on the effect of acupuncture after rotator cuff surgery need to be continuously conducted.
