현재, 동일한 네트워크를 다수의 사용자가 사용할 경우, 네트워크 부하가 급증하여 통신 서비스의 품질이 저하되며, 원활한 통신 서비스의 지원이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 VoIP 서비스 사용자가 원활하게 통신 서비스를 제공받을 수 있도록 보장하는 정책기반 VoIP 서비스 QoS 관리시스템에 대하여 제안한다. 본 연구에서 제안한 시스템을 사용하면 대용량의 네트워크 부하가 걸리는 상황에서도 사용자의 VoIP 서비스의 품질 보장이 가능하며, 정책기반 QoS 관리를 통해 전체 네트워크의 효율적인 운용이 가능하도록 하였다.

Today the mobile devices including smart phones have influenced on the users' daily activities in the mobile internet society, and the expansion of social media has also affected on the purchasing behavior of consumers. This study examines whether the quality of corporate twitter, a typical social network service for call centers influences on the customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty. In order to achieve the research goal, the quality of twitter has been divided into four variables; information quality, service quality, system quality, and social quality. The results of our empirical analysis show that the three variables except service quality have significantly influenced on the customer satisfaction and the customer satisfaction also significantly has a casual effect on the brand loyalty. The empirical results are expected as a guideline to contribute on the practical improvement of customer service, satisfaction, and brand loyalty through corporate social network services such as corporate twitters in the future.

이동통신망에서 음성통화 및 데이터 서비스 품질은 가장 중요한 요소 중의 하나로서, 이는 무선 네트워크 환경의 변화로 인하여 시간에 따라 항상 변화한다. 이러한 특성을 보이는 모바일 서비스를 고객에게 일정 수준 이상으로 제공하기 위해서는 각 지역별 기지국이 제공하고 있는 서비스 품질에 대한 정보가 요구된다. 이를 위하여 일반적으로 위성 등을 이용한 위치 확인 장치를 장착한 차량으로 이동하면서 품질에 대한 정보를 지속적으로 측정하고 수집하는 방법을 활용한다. 그러나 이러한 방식은 많은 유지비가 소요되고 모든 지역을 다 포함시킬 수는 없는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 근거리 무선통신 송수신기를 포함하는 적용한 측정 노드와 이동 단말기를 이용하여 주기적으로 서비스 품질에 관련된 정보를 이동통신 네트워크의 측정서버에 보고하는 방안을 제안한다. 제안된 방안은 이동통신망의 특성에 독립적이며, 회선망 혹은 패킷망에 모두 적용할 수 있다. 또한 운영상에 필요한 장비와 인력을 고려할 때 기존의 방법 대비 비용 측면에서도 효율적인 장점을 가지고 있다.

DSON is a service overlay network architecture that can guarantee end-to-end quality of service to home network area. DSON makes service possible to be provided dynamically. This paper gives service model and scenario using DSON architecture.

In this paper, we investigate key issues and the CCITT activities related to the quality of service in the B-ISDN based on the ATM. We first clarify the relationships between the QOS(Quality of Service). NP(Network Performance), and GOS(Grade of Service). Using the GOS, network design and tuning method is suggested. Also, we examine the performance impairments and key NP parameters in ATM networks.

This paper presents a price-based quality-of-service (QoS) control framework for two-class network services, in which circuit-switched and packet-switched services are defined as "premium service class" and "best-effort service class," respectively. Given the service model, a customer may decide to use the other class as a perfect or an imperfect substitute when he or she perceives the higher utility of the class. Given the framework, fixed-point problems are solved numerically to investigate how static pricing can be used to control the demand and the QoS of each class. The rationale behind this is as follows: For a network service provider to determine the optimal prices that maximize its total revenue, the interactions between the QoS-dependent demand and the demand-dependent QoS should be thoroughly analyzed. To test the robustness of the proposed model, simulations were performed with gradually increasing customer demands or network workloads. The simulation results show that even with substantial demands or workloads, self-adjustment mechanism of the model works and it is feasible to obtain fixed points in equilibrium. This paper also presents a numerical example of guaranteeing the QoS statistically in the short term-that is, through the implementation of pricing strategies.

최근 들어 스마트폰의 급속한 확산이 이루어지면서 소셜 네트워크 서비스 이용이 증가되고 있으며 대고객 관계관리 및 브랜드 관리의 중요한 매체로서 소셜 네트워크 서비스에 대한 중요성이 커지고 있다. 본 연구는 소셜 네트워크 서비스에 대한 한국과 중국 이용자들 간에 SNS의 서비스품질과 선택행동에 대한 인식의 차이가 있는지를 살펴보는데 목적을 두었다. 연구목적 달성을 위해 서비스품질과 선택행동에 관련된 선행연구를 바탕으로 서비스품질과 선택행동의 하위 차원을 각각 도출한 후 이 요인들에 대한 T-test를 실시하였다. 실증분석 결과 SNS 이용에 있어 한 중 양국 이용자의 서비스품질이 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었고, 선택행동도 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 결과는 SNS연구에 이론적 시사점 제공할 뿐만 아니라 해외 시장에 진출하려는 관련분야 기업들에게 도 실무적 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있다.

본 논문에서는 기존의 차별화된 서비스 제공과 달리 보장형 서비스품질 제공 방안을 제시하고, NS-2를 이용한 시뮬레이션 결과를 제시한다. 한정된 자원을 요구하는 가입자별로 공정하게 나누어 가지는 경우 각각의 가입자들은 서비스품질의 저하를 느끼게 되어 전체적으로 가입자의 만족이 줄어든다. 따라서 보장형 서비스품질 제공 기법을 이용하여 제한된 자원내에서만 가입자를 서비스하고 이후에 요구하는 서비스 플로우에 대하여 서비스 제공을 거절함으로서 기존의 가입자의 만족을 증대시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

스마트폰을 이용한 모바일 인터넷 전화 서비스의 사용이 급속도로 확산되고 있다. 기존의 전화망이나 이동 전화망을 통한 전화 서비스와는 달리 인터넷 전화는 서비스 품질이 보장될 수 없다는 문제점이 있고 특히 무선 환경을 통한 모바일 인터넷 전화 서비스의 경우 이 문제점은 더 심각해 질 수 있다. 따라서 모바일 인터넷 전화의 성공적인 정착과 활성화를 위해서는 보다 체계화된 철저한 품질 관리가 요구된다. 기존의 계측기를 이용한 측정 기반의 사후 품질 관리를 개선하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 서비스 이용자 단말에 설치되어 각종 품질 지표를 측정할 수 있는 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 개발된 소프트웨어를 이용하면 모바일 음성 서비스의 품질을 상시적인 그리고 서비스 이용자의 능동적인 품질 측정이 가능하다는 장점이 있다.

Quality services such as the integrated service and the differentiated service have been expected to be supported by public Internet as multimedia applications proliferate. Despite a lot of techniques for quality services have been devised, the prospect for the deployment of these techniques is not clear yet. In this research feasibility of real world quality service is investigated based on former experiments and recent trends in Internet applications. User network-based quality services are considered as the most feasible and economic short-term solution, which are also flexible in nature. Milestones and key technologies for some specific public network-based quality services are also described.
