In this paper, we study the network structure that can guarantee the end-to-end quality of service in the Explicit multicast network. In order to guarantee the end-to-end quality of service, we adopt the end-to-end measurement based admission control (EMBAC) scheme. For the effective measurement of the network state and minimum influence on the current data traffic, the queue structure, which the drop precedence in assured forwarding (AF) Per hop behavior (PHB) of the differentiated service (Diffserv) is applied to, is proposed. Through a simulation, we show that EMBAC can make tile controlled load service in tile AF PHB applied Xcast network, and the qualify of the admitted traffic is guaranteed. In addition, the performance of the EMBAC is changing according to the selling parameter of AF PHB.

Differentiated services (DiffServ) model has been prevailed as a scalable approach to provide quality of service in the Internet. However, there are difficulties in providing the guaranteed service in terms of end-to-end systems since differentiated services network considers quality of service of aggregated traffic due to the scalability and many researches have been mainly focused on per hop behavior or a single domain behavior. Furthermore quality of service may be time varying according to the network conditions. In this paper, we study dynamic class mapping mechanism to guarantee the end-to-end quality of service for multimedia traffics with the minimum network cost over differentiated services network. The proposed algorithm consists of an effective implementation of relative differentiated service model, quality of service advertising mechanism and dynamic class mapping mechanism. Finally, the experimental results are provided to show the performance of the proposed algorithm.

Currently the telephone service using Internet grows and the recent introduction of a smart phone is expected to accelerate the trend. In particular, considering the domestic situation that the wireless broadband (WiBro) system deployed over the nation, the telephone service over WiBro can be a solution toward its fast expansion. Unlike telephone service over a conventional telephone network or mobile network, however, internet telephone cannot guarantee it service quality, which can be severer in a wireless environment such as a WiBro network. Therefore, a more strict and systematic management for controlling the quality of internet telephone service over WiBro in a more efficient way. As the first step to establish the management system, this paper proposes a scheme to manage the quality of internet telephone service over WiBro and introduces a software developed for the purpose. The developed software is installed on a user terminal and facilitates efficient service quality management by measuring the quality of internet telephone service over WiBro in terms of VoIP metric, network metric, and wireless metric.

Recently, the wireless data communication infrastructure appearing before the footlights crosses the limit in the wire and develop into the fast speed. Particularly, the issue about the u-Healthcare service using this increases. And the investigation of the quality guarantee of the wireless data network is important for the smooth service providing. However, the quality control research about the wireless network is insufficient because the existing research performs the quality control between the termination about the wired network continually. This paper presented the mobile service quality measurement reference considering the radio environment,that is the method for satisfying the quality guarantee of the wireless data network user offered the u-Healthcare service as the research about this and user needs. For this purpose, wireless data quality measurement indicator and standard was selected. The quality measure evaluation plan was presented according to the service. And each service presented the quality index especially.

Recently, delivery app services based on the O2O platform are increasing rapidly. Accordingly, various studies on O2O service have been conducted. Most of the studies are on consumer behavior in O2O services, and few studies on platform vendors have been conducted. Therefore, this study empirically analyzed the factors affecting the vender's intention to continuous use in the O2O delivery app platform service. Based on prior researches, we set the quality characteristics and network characteristics of the O2O platform as independent variables. The quality characteristics of the O2O platform consisted of system quality, information quality, and service quality, and the O2O platform network characteristics consisted of network externality and platform reputation. Perceived value and switching cost were set as mediated variables, and vender's intention to continuous use was set as dependent variables. For empirical analysis, we conducted a survey targeting vendors of O2O delivery app platform service, and conducted frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, the quality characteristics of the O2O platform, such as system quality, information quality, service quality, and O2O platform network characteristics, showed that network externality and platform reputation had a positive effect on perceived value. The perceived value was found to have a positive effect on the switching cost and the intention to continuous use, and the switching cost was found to mediate the perceived value and the intention to continuous use. This study can contribute to the establishment of platform operation strategy as an empirical analysis on the factors that influence the intention of O2O platform vendors to use the platform continuously.

Recently, broadband access networks have been competitively deployed all over the world with the development of various multimedia services for such a network. ETRI(Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) built the FTTH(Fiber-To-the-Home) service center to develop a next-generation equipment and a high-quality service/platform as well as to promote domestic industry in the field of optical communication. The FTTH service center has a variety of test equipments such as FTTH standard testbed for a BMT(bench mark test), a network operation center, and IPTV service equipments. Also, ETRI deployed a new type of commercial optical access networks cooperating with ISP(Internet Service Provider). This paper presents the performance evaluation of FTTH E-PON(Ethernet Passive Optical Network) system as a platform for TPS(Triple Play Service) based on QoS(Quality of Service) and QoE(Quality of Expericence) issues. This FTTH E-PON system is successfully demonstrated as an optical access network system by commercial network service provider and the FTTH service center of ETRI.

As the Internet service evolves from the best effort data service to a multimedia service such as a mix of voice, data and video, a need for the guarantee of the quality of service to network services became one of the hot issues for the network operators. On the other hand, the introduction of the multimedia services over the IP network requires a managed differentiated service that adopts a prioritized treatment of packets. This incurs a need for a differentiated pricing scheme for the packets that receive different level of quality of service. This work proposes an analytic framework about packet pricing scheme for these services, and investigate the effect of service differentiation to the packet price for each class. Via numerical experiment, we validate our argument and illustrate the implication of the work.

In this paper, for analysing the major factors giving the effect to the quality of video on the multicasting service of IPTV, we construct the lab test network environment similar to the real IPTV service network environment. We measure the quality of video on the multicasting of IPTV generating and increasing the broadcasting traffic on the situation that apply the QoS technique to the test lab network and not apply the QoS technique and then find out the threshold value of factors giving the effect to the quality of video on the multicasting service of IPTV. This paper can be used in basic date for guaranteeing the constant video quality on the multicasting service of IPTV.

Lately development of network around Internet expands range of data traffic to multimedia information, and so for the guarantee of multimedia services end-to-end QoS(Quality of Service) must service because comparing with existing Internet service can not support For satisfying those QoS requirements, network have to guarantee not only network on parameter, such as delay, jitter, throughput but also system resources like CPU utilization, memory usage. Therefore it is urgent to develop QoS based middleware to distribute multimedia data and maximize network utilization in the limited resource environment. And it must be necessary of network to provide end-to-end QoS(Quality of Service) for multimedia applications. Multimedia applications want that QoS which satisfy their own service properties be guaranteed Then, We must analyze those necessary QoS requirements md define QoS parameter which specify as two viewpoint, user's and network's perspective. Therefore network provider supplying network for usual user and university, enterprise must want to find about their own network performance and problem. It is essential for network manager to want to use a tool like this. On the basis of technique about QoS test-bed in the AIM network, We studied on the method of QoS measurement and management about end-to-end connection in the Internet. We measured network status about end-to-end connection and analyze the result of performance.

As the internet service evolves fast recently, guarantee request of QoS (Quality of Service) by characteristic of traffic source as well as high rate of data is going greatest. Accordingly intemet service technology also is changing rapidly, technology that guarantee QoS in existent network service technology is developed or network model that guarantee new QoS is presented. By DiffServ-aware-MPLS network that present in IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) to guarantee QoS in this treatise does comparative analysis with existent network model, relative show that is superior, and present direction that compose next generation network wish to.
