서비스디자인 플랫폼을 위한 사용성 평가지표 연구 (The Usability Evaluation Indicators for Services Design Platform)

  • 서비스디자인 플랫폼(Service Design Platform)은 지식경제부에서 시행하고 있는 '서비스 융합형 디자인 컨설팅 지원기술 개발사업'의 일환으로 서비스디자인 기업들이 온라인에서 서비스디자인 과제를 원활하게 할 수 있도록 하기 위한 목적으로 개발되었다. 서비스디자인 플랫폼 개발과정에서 플랫폼의 사용성을 검증하고 개선시키기 위해서는 사용자의 참여에 의한 사용성 테스트(Usability Test)와 더불어 전문가에 의한 휴리스틱 평가(Heuristic Evaluation)가 요구된다. 본 연구는 전문가에 의한 휴리스틱 평가를 실시하기에 앞서 평가대상에 적합한 평가영역과 세부 평가항목을 도출하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 연구를 위해서 내부 연구자들이 사용성 영역과 평가대상인 서비스디자인 플랫폼의 특징요소, 설계요소, 커뮤니티 요소 등을 설정하였고, 이를 세부항목에 반영해서 평가지표를 분류하고 도출하였다. 이어서 평가지표에 대한 타당성과 신뢰성 검증을 위해 전문가를 대상으로 델파이 조사를 실시해서 4개의 평가영역과 44개의 세부항목으로 구성된 평가지표를 도출하였다. 도출된 평가지표는 체크리스트로 활용해서 향후 전문가에 의한 휴리스틱 평가 시 활용될 계획이다.

  • As the Internet service is expanding rapidly, portal sites, a gateway tn the net, are attracting increasing attention these days. As the Internet service has expanded rapidly, so has the interest for portal sites,, which serve as a gateway to the net. Despite the tendency, however, research on a measure by which to evaluate the quality of portal sites or development of such measures has not been fully pursued. As online services, faced with profitability, are considering 'charge per view', the development of a set of quality evaluation measures for portal services will prove to become a valuable instrument in constructing competitive strategies that are vital for survival and growth of a firm. In that regard, this study aims to develop a set of evaluation measures for Internet portal sites by empirically investigating the most common offline measures for quality of services, SERVQUAL, retail SERVQUAL and other evaluation measures for IT-related online services. Moreover, the study offers the strategic implications of the defined measures.

An Application of Total Quality Management Efficiency Model in the Korean Distribution Industry

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of the service quality activity itself by using the DEA Model, in contrast to previous quality evaluation methods, as an attempt to evaluate the service quality activities of the distribution industry. Furthermore, by complementing the shortfalls of the weighted value of the DEA Model, it recommends a DEA/PS Model that is appropriate in the evaluation of service quality activities. Based on this model, the study proposes the SQAE Model, an evaluation tool to complement the traditional measuring method. According to the results of the analysis of 18 sample distribution businesses, there was a discrepancy by business in the results of the Traditional Scoring System and the Evaluation Measuring System. Therefore, it is most desirable to not only be active in service quality activities but also increase efficiency at the same time.

  • Cyber education system service is in the field of software service which is highlighted after the latter half of 1990'. But the progress of this service is impeded by the lack of back office which contributes to the evaluation of learning achievement and the management of learning progress. This article points out the problem of current back office which is the most important in the cyber education system, and focuses on the new intelligent learning achievement evaluation module. First, we define the cause and effect between the learning stages using by fuzzy implication which is the important part of fuzzy theory. Next, we suggest the model which generates the results of the learning achievement evaluation. This model, suggested by this article, may contribute to the development of the cyber education system by improving the current on-line education service.

Service Oriented Cloud Computing Trusted Evaluation Model

  • More and more cloud computing services are being applied in various fields; however, it is difficult for users and cloud computing service platforms to establish trust among each other. The trust value cannot be measured accurately or effectively. To solve this problem, we design a service-oriented cloud trust assessment model using a cloud model. We also design a subjective preference weight allocation (SPWA) algorithm. A flexible weight model is advanced by combining SPWA with the entropy method. Aiming at the fuzziness and subjectivity of trust, the cloud model is used to measure the trust value of various cloud computing services. The SPWA algorithm is used to integrate each evaluation result to obtain the trust evaluation value of the entire cloud service provider.

  • The importance of ecosystem service such as green spaces has risen due to restrictions on outdoor activities amid the climate crisis and COVID-19. While gardens significantly impact economic development, quality of life, and social well-being, comprehensive studies on their multidimensional values are lacking. This research categorizes garden values into social, cultural, environmental, and health dimensions and proposes an integrated assessment framework that introduces detailed elements and evaluation methods. An empirical assessment of carbon storage index in two Korean gardens, Semiwon and Juknokwon, reveals Semiwon's higher carbon storage per unit area. The proposed framework, emphasizing a quantitative approach, enables cross-national and regional comparisons, contributing to a broader understanding and evaluation of garden values beyond specific facilities.

  • ICT 기술의 발전으로 인해 IPTV, 인터넷 전화 등 다양한 서비스가 인터넷 기반으로 제공되고, 이러한 서비스가 다수의 사업자 망을 통해 전달되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 네트워크 환경에서 서비스의 품질에 가장 많은 영향을 미치고 이용자의 주관적 품질 판단에 결정적인 역할을 하는 종단간 인터넷 서비스 품질 평가에 관해 국제 표준을 기반으로 국내 실정에 적합한 평가 방안을 제시한다. 이 결과, 시간지연, 지연변이, 패킷 손실률이 품질 평가 지표로 선정되었으며 인터넷 서비스 제공자들 간에 정보 공유를 최소화하면서 이를 예측할 수 있는 방안을 전통적인 통계방법을 사용하여 제시한다.

  • 현재 서비스지향 아키텍처 소프트웨어의 중요성이 인식되면서 국내외 서비스지향 아키텍처 소프트웨어 시장이 급격히 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이에 따라 서비스지향 아키텍처 소프트웨어에 대한 고신뢰성과 고품질 소프트웨어의 요구가 증대되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 서비스지향 아키텍처 소프트웨어의 신뢰성 품질을 평가하기 위해 품질을 시험하여 측정하고 그 결과를 적절한 기준에 따라 판정하는 방법에 대해 연구를 수행하고 평가사례를 제시하여 평가 방법을 명확히 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 서비스지향 아키텍처 소프트웨어의 신뢰성 품질 향상을 유도하고 국제 표준을 수용하는 전략기술 개발을 통해 객관성과 활용도를 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

국가문화가 서비스품질의 평가에 미치는 영향 : 한국과 영·미권 국가의 비교 (Impact of National Culture on Service Quality Evaluations : Comparison of Korea and Anglo-Saxon Countries)

  • Purpose - The objective of this research is to investigate whether national culture influences consumers' service evaluations. The services industry is receiving increasing attention from academia and practitioners as its position grows in global markets. Standardization or localization is a traditional managerial decision in global business. As the boundaries of services expand across national borders, firms are required to decide whether to standardize services or adjust to local needs. Though it is imperative to reflect global perspectives in marketing theories, these perspectives are mostly based on Western conceptualization of the world. Through a comparison of consumer groups from two culturally remote countries, service quality evaluation mechanisms are examined based on similar stimuli. The study tries to expand service marketing perspectives across national borders. Research design, data, and methodology - Eastern and Western countries are known to be culturally distinct. One Eastern and one Western country were chosen: an Anglo-Saxon country (the U.S., England, and Australia) and South Korea. In Hofstede's cultural dimensions, the differences between the two are pronounced. The Anglo-Saxon based countries share many similarities. Samples of the same sites are targeted. Questionnaires using a service quality scale (SERVQUAL) and a customer satisfaction scale were distributed. Utilizing Hofstede's typology of culture, the service evaluation mechanisms of the respondents from the two groups are evaluated. Three hypotheses are proposed from the review of the literature. These are service evaluation habits, importance of service quality dimensions for the individualistic/collectivistic countries, and strong/weak uncertainty avoidance cultures. Consumers from the individualistic countries are considered to care about themselves and demand a higher level of responsiveness and assurance. On the other hand, consumers from high uncertainty avoidance cultures are assumed to rely more on tangible questions of service quality, as these are the only predictable service quality indicators. A t-test and regression analysis are applied to validate the constructs. Results - The respondents from the Anglo-Saxon countries are more generous on service evaluations than Koreans. Researchers have indicated that Americans tend to give higher service evolution scores than European, Mexican, and Korean counterparts. The tendency is the same here. The sample from Anglo-Saxon countries demonstrated higher service evaluation scores on every dimension of SERVQUAL. For the second hypothesis, the respondents from the collectivistic culture rely less on core service dimensions (assurance and responsiveness) due to their tendency to place more value on group harmony than individual interest. However, the third hypothesis was not validated. Conclusions - The study attempted to expand the scope of service marketing to reflect cross-national perspectives. Service quality is known to have a strong influence on customer satisfaction and loyalty behavior. However, this research demonstrated that individuals from different cultural territories respond heterogeneously to the same stimuli. Scholars argue that national cultures are main factors in such deviated behavior. Scholars and global managers should be aware of differences in consumer value judgment mechanisms such as satisfaction, expectations, and perceptions.

DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) 접경지역의 문화서비스 평가 (Cultural Services Assessment in DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) Border Areas)

  • 본 연구는 접경지역 문화서비스 평가를 통해 지표와 방법론의 적절성을 고찰하고, 국내 핵심 생태자산인 접경지역의 생태계서비스 기반 관리를 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 선행연구에서 제시한 평가지표와 방법을 바탕으로 7개 시군을 평가 및 비교하였다. 문화서비스 평가 결과, 여가·관광은 파주시, 경관미는 인제군, 교육은 양구군, 유산은 인제군이 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구를 통해 문화서비스의 종합적인 평가를 위한 향후 과제를 다음과 같이 제안하고자 한다. 첫째, 국가 및 광역 단위의 생태계서비스 평가를 위해서는 문화서비스 평가 및 모니터링을 위한 지표 체계 구축이 필요하다. 둘째, 문화서비스 평가 지표 체계 구축시 평가대상지역 스케일에 따른 지표 간의 상·하위 개념 단위나 일관성에 대한 검토가 선행되어야 한다. 셋째, 생태계 유형에 따라 문화서비스 평가를 위한 구체적인 DB 구축 및 활용 검토가 이루어져야 한다. 마지막으로 국내의 문화서비스 연구가 현저히 부족한 상황에서 비물질적이고 정성적인 인식을 포함한 문화서비스 평가를 위해서는 기초 연구가 지속되어야 한다. 향후 광역단위의 문화서비스 평가를 위해서는 생태계 유형별로 추가적인 기초 연구 결과 축적이 필요하며, 적절한 평가지표와 방법에 대한 새로운 접근 방법의 후속 연구가 필요하다.
