With the 4th Industrial Revolution and the development of technology, markets of the VR&AR have increased. Also due to COVID-19 pandemic, demands for a digital environment were required because of physical space constraints. Firms are trying to solve this problem by using Metaverse platforms. However, with markets such as Metaverse, VR, AR, and Digital Twins are expanding, prior research on Metaverse definition or classification system is insufficient. Based on understanding VR&AR, Digital Twin, this study established a Industry-Service classification for Metaverse by defining Case studies on Metaverse and through prior research. And by Industry-Service classification for Metaverse this paper propose Metaverse Industry-Service Matrix to analyze the trend and possibility of Metaverse Platform

We consider how a pre-service teacher can understand and utilize various concepts of Euclidean geometry by learning conic sections using mathematical definitions in non-Euclidean geometry. In a third-grade class of D University, we used mathematical definitions to demonstrate that learning conic sections in non-Euclidean space, such as taxicab geometry and Minkowski distance space, can aid pre-service teachers by enhancing their ability to acquire and accept new geometric concepts. As a result, learning conic sections using mathematical definitions in taxicab geometry and Minkowski distance space is expected to contribute to enhancing the education of pre-service teachers for Euclidean geometry expertise by fostering creative and flexible thinking.

Background and Aim : Lately the age of competition has come among the medical service area. At the same time disputes over the medical practice related to the medical person's territory tend to increase. In part it is due to the increased medical persons but in part it is because the medical practice is not defined clearly in the Medical Service Act for the practice of each medical person. So the legal definition of medical practice will be discussed here. Materials and Method : The cases from the court have been confirmed the difference between the two medical persons regarding the actual events. Legal aspects of medical practice in Korean medicine and the related cases will be reviewed and analysed. Results : The form of medical practice consists of administrating Korean medicine treatment and providing guidance for health based on Korean medicine. For medical doctors the practice includes medical treatment and guidance for health. Circular definition in the Medical Service Act over the medical practice, medical person and medical instruments makes it difficult to understand the whole idea. Therefore, the court has a tendency to decide the medical practice of medical doctor of Korean medicine from the some reliable points which is: 1) it is based on the principle of traditional Korean Medicine, 2) it is practiced by the medical doctor of Korean Medicine, 3) it can do harm to the patient without proper involvement of the medical doctor of Korean Medicine. Now the Act on the promotion of Korean Medicine and Pharmaceuticals makes it include the concept of "scientifically applied and developed" medical practice of Korean Medicine. Conclusions : With the essential change in the Act on the promotion of Korean Medicine and Pharmaceuticals, it is expected that even slight change can be seen in the court cases. However, still the concept of medical practice in the Medical Service Act remains the same. Modernisation of Korean Medicine, enhancement of textbooks and clinical practice training and the effort to amend the law to clearly define the medical practice of Korean Medicine will contribute to the clinical and academic environment. Evidence based Korean Medicine and even the unification of east-west medicine could be considered for the situation.

A dynamic reliability model for analyzing the stability of armor units on rubble-mound breakwater is mathematically developed by using Hudson's formula and definition of single-failure mode. The probability density functions of resistance and loading functions are defined properly, the related parameters to those probability density functions are also estimated straightforwardly by the first-order analysis. It is found that probabilities of failure for the stability of armor units on rubble-mound breakwater are continuously increased as the service periods are elapsed, because of the occurrence of repeated loading of random magnitude by which the resistance may be deteriorated. In particular, the factor of safety is incorporated into the dynamic reliability model in order to evaluate the probability of failure as a function of factor of safety. It may thus be possible to take some informations for optimal design as well as managements and repairs of armor units on rubble-mound breakwater from the dynamic reliability analyses.

Electronic catalog is a kind of electronic document to exchange product and service data for B2B or B2C EC(electronic commerce). Up to date a lot of selution/service providers which develop EC systems such as shopping malls, have constructed electronic catalogs. However, they use different contents, formats, and exchange methods without a standardized concept and consistent definition of components. This causes problems that time and cost to develop catalogs are duplicated and data exchange across e-marketplaces is difficult. In order to resolve these problems, standardization works for electronic catalog are carried out inside and outside the country. In this paper, we introduce types of standards concerned with electronic catalog, trends of standardization activities, and domestic standardization activities by industry such as electronics, automobile, shipbuilding, heavy industry, steel, electricity, construction, distribution, biomedical, and textile.

The purpose of this study is to provide possible suggestions in order to promote online transmission service of digital works and the construction of digital libraries. To achieve this purpose, the definition, and characteristics of digital library were reviewed. And the current status of information service of digital libraries in Korea. Japan, and U. S. was examined. The regulations relating to online transmission in digital libraries on the copyright law revised in December 1999 were understood. As a result, this study suggested the establishment of center to manage the reproduction and online transmission of digital works collectively. And it also suggested the introduction of technical measures to protect copyright.

FTTH (Fiber to the Home) is constructed with optical devices and optical cables from central office (CO) to subscribers. With FTTH, it is possible to provide service platform in order to meet the customers' emerging demands for more bandwidth/security and diverse IP multimedia applications including high definition (HD) video streaming service. FTTH can provide enough bandwidth from 100Mbps to several Gbps per subscriber. It is also most appropriate network architecture for convergence of communication and broadcasting. So, FTTH is thought the final destination of telecom operators, since it is the fastest and most reliable solution so far and various IP multimedia services are possible through it. In this paper, newly attempted technologies of FTTH construction for apartment complexes using CWDM-PON system are discussed.

Such as closed caption, ancillary data, electronic program guide(EPG), data broadcasting, and etc, increased data for service convenience cause to degrade video quality of high definition contents. This article propose a method to transfer the closed caption data of video contents without video quality degradation. Video quality degradation does not cause in video compression by the block image insertion of caption data in DTV essential hidden area. Additionally the proposed methods have advantage to synchronize video, audio, and caption from preinserted script without time delay.

In a packet switching network, congestion is unavoidable and affects the quality of real-time traffic with such problems as delay and packet loss. Packet fair queuing (PFQ) algorithms are well-known solutions for quality-of-service (QoS) guarantee by packet scheduling. Our approach is different from previous algorithms in that it uses hardware time achieved by sampling a counter triggered by a periodic clock signal. This clock signal can be provided to all the modules of a routing system to get synchronization. In this architecture, a variant of the PFQ algorithm, called digitized delay queuing (DDQ), can be distributed on many line interface modules. We derive the delay bounds in a single processor system and in a distributed architecture. The definition of traffic contribution improves the simplicity of the mathematical models. The effect of different time between modules in a distributed architecture is the key idea for understanding the delay behavior of a routing system. The number of bins required for the DDQ algorithm is also derived to make the system configuration clear. The analytical models developed in this paper form the basis of improvement and application to a combined input and output queuing (CIOQ) router architecture for a higher speed QoS network.
