Surveillance is an enabler of safety with respect to aircraft separation and as a consequence capacity and efficiency with respect to aircraft operations. The new emerging technology among modern civil aviation surveillance is Multilateration (MLAT) which would affect on the surveillance capacity with both side of surveillance signal and operational properties. Multilateration system is needed to receive the signal which must reach at least 3 ground receivers simultaneously and has the effect that will have on with the ultimate accuracy. In this paper, the principle and the system configuration are reviewed. And its benefit of development is considered with use in situations where it is difficult to locate tranditional radar. This MLAT requires no additional avionics equipment to supply service with more accurate and less expensive. And it is able to enhance performance that meets international standards and extend the investment of air navigation service providers with reducing environmental impact by utilizing a small footprint on existing structures. Finally, it can be added to meet a wide range of coverage requirements and future surveillance needs.

In this study, I-type girders used as main members of a two span continuous steel bridge, are optimally designed by a Load and Resistance Factor Design method(LRFD) using an numerical optimization method. The width, height web thickness and flange thickness of the main girder are set as design variables, and light weight design is attempted by choosing the cross-sectional area as an object function. The main program is coded with C++ and connected with optimization modul ADS, which is coded with FORTRAN. The results of the program show that the stress constraints of noncomposite section during the initial construction stage become active in the positive moment area and the service limit state constaints become active in the negative moment area.

Recently, the area of design optimization, especially structural optimization, has been and to be a continuous active area of research. And the design optimizations of port facilities have been achieved by many other civil engineers. But the design optimization of port facilities were limited to the design optimization of the breasting dolphin. This paper invested the design optimization of mooring pier and the foundations of mooring pier was suggested considering the convenience of repair and reinforcement work. The mooring pier devised with prestressed precast concrete panel and rigid frame welded wide flange beam to steel pipe pile. To accomplish the design optimization of mooring pier, the Augmented Lagrangian Multiplier Method(ALM) of ADS(Garret N. Vanderplaats) optimization routine, BFGS method as optimizer and Golden Section Method as one dimensional search were utilized. As a result, thirty percent of material cost for construction was reduced by design optimization. The tensile stress of concrete panel and bottom flage was critical constraints under service load. So, using high strength concrete and steel will be economical. And lots of initial values must be invested to accomplish the design optimization in design procedures.

Computerized to techniques have been applied to outage call processing system for rapid restoration of power to customers. This paper presents computer aided outage call processing system called '123' system, which has been in operation since 1987. And, also describes its origins, design conception to be considered and its operation effects. From a positive point of view, it shows the functions needs to be added and some problems to be improved. Additionally, it describes the integrated system which has functions of detecting distribution failure, locating failure position by logical computer processing, and although ADS (Automatic Distribution System) has yet to be built up, the primary purpose of the system is to improve service to the customer by means of rapid restoration of electricity outage.

Represtressed preflex beams do not allow tensile stress under service load by introducing additional prestressing at the lower concrete of beams. In this study, optimal design of represetressed preflex beams are numerically investigated. Design variables are dimension of plate girder. Object function is the total weight of plate girder. Constraints of the stress of plate girder and upper and lower concrete flange and lower and upper bounds on the design variables are imposed. Structural analysis is performed by D.A.R.P.(Design and Analysis of Represtressed Preflex beams). For numerical optimization, ADS(Garret N. Vanderplaats) program is used. From result of application examples, optimum designs of different cases are successfully obtained. The design program developed in this study seems efficient and robust for the optimization of represtressed preflex beams.

In this paper, a low noise amplifier(LNA) in a receiver of a Low Noise Block Down Converter (LNB) for direct broadcasting service(DBS) is implemented using GaAs HEMT. The 2-stage LNA is designed for the bandwidth of 11.7GHz - 12.2GHz. The result of a simulation of the LNA using Advanced Design System(ADS) shows that the noise figure is less than 1.4dB, the gain is greater than 23dB and the flatness is 1dB in the bandwidth of 11.7 to 12.2GHz.

As of 2006. 3. the twitter offered in the USA has been one of the propaganda instrument used with ads and politics functioning speedy information diffusion on SNS communicated with others through 140 letters of short messages. and while twitter is using propaganda instrument, it keeps on trying to verify how it has an effect on. So, on the paper, I suggest new simulation model of information diffusion based on probability being able to predict the range of proliferation after it analyze the existing influence and the diffusion force on verification methods. It designed algorithm of verification and algorithm of prediction to use twitter's Open API with Python basement. It proved effectiveness on the model through the analysis to operate the twitter of practical local autonomous entity.

Purpose: In Korea, since the Act on Hospice and Palliative Care and Decisions on Life-Sustaining Treatment for Patients at the End of Life was implemented in February 2018, advance directives (ADs) have become legally effective and should be documented after sufficient explanation by a registered counselor. However, little is known regarding the adequacy of current AD counseling. This qualitative study aimed to explore the barriers to AD counseling based on counselors' experiences. Methods: We conducted focus group interviews using purposive sampling. Seven counselors working at hospitals, community health institutions, and non-profit organizations participated in this study. They were asked about the challenges and problems they encountered during AD counseling. Results: Three themes emerged from this study; 1) issues regarding consistency in AD counseling, 2) issues regarding AD counselors' competency and work environment, and 3) issues regarding the adequacy of the service system. The interviewees stated that the lack of a manual for standardized service made AD counseling inconsistent. The limited competency and poor work environment of counselors were pointed out as major barriers. The interviewees also stated that a proper service system considering individual circumstances is absent. Conclusion: The goals of AD counseling should be clarified and guidance should be implemented for providing standardized services. Further efforts to enhance the competency of AD counselors and to improve their working conditions are needed. Establishing an integrated framework for an adequate service system is also essential to overcome systematic barriers to AD counseling.

This study carried out an empirical analysis on the long-term effects of a marketing communication strategy used as a means of promotion(advertisement, free gift) of Christmas cake despite its high costs. Such verification results were considered to provide as important core elements for successful management in the bakery industry. By utilizing SPSS and AMOS, exploratory factor analysis(EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) were conducted for the validity of the measurement items, and Structural Equation Model(SEM) was performed to verify the hypothesis. The analysis result is as follows. First, advertisement attribute(${\beta}$=0.269, t=4.512, p,<0.001) and free gift attitude(${\beta}$=0.293, t=5.043, p<0.001) had a positive influence on trust. Second, trust had a positive influence on purchase intention(${\beta}$=0.513, t=8.677, p<0.001). Third, advertisement attribute(${\beta}$=0.104, t=1.966, p,<0.05) and free gift attitude(${\beta}$=0.204, t=3.817, p<0.001) had a positive influence on purchase intention. Lastly, advertisement attitude appeared different by advertisement types(actors and animation), and ads with an actor were evaluated high than animation ads. Also, gift attitude appeared different by gift types(speaker doll/character hat and turtleneck muffler), and a turtleneck muffler was evaluated high than a speaker doll or a character hat.
